(hopefully, this should act as an amusing diversion for some of you)

For one of my gaming projects I'm trying to find an actor to fit the role of a certain character. However, as I watch very little network TV these days, I'm drawing a blank. I'm hoping that the residents of the TV/Film board can help me out. Anyways, what I need is an actor who is:

male
caucasion
early to mid 20's (or at least looks the part)
skinny
non-redhead
wears glasses
Edit: medium to tall in height

All suggestions are appreciated!

Topher Grace? You could just put glasses on him.

What sort of character is this, beyond the physical characteristics?

My first thought was Rainn Wilson, who plays Dwight on The Office. He's 40 but can definitely pass for mid-20's.

Topher grace is a good suggestion.

How about Bret Harrison or Zachary Levi, who play the lead characters on new shows Reaper and Chuck? Neither wears glasses, but obviously that's a minor concern.

Smart or not? Does he need to have the fire of intelligence in his eyes or is he a slacker?

You could just put glasses on him.Ideally, I need to be able to find a pic of the actor in question already wearing the glasses (I don't have the Photoshop skills to edit it otherwise).

What sort of character is this, beyond the physical characteristics? He's a character for a play-by-post RPG set in the world of the Heroes tv show. He has a variety of psychic powers, but because of his background, he believes them to actually be magic (think Fortunato from the Wild Cards novels, if you're familiar with them).

Smart or not? Does he need to have the fire of intelligence in his eyes or is he a slacker?Definately the former. He's intensely smart, and is given to scathing, sarcastic humor.

If he were about 10 years younger, James Callis would be pretty much spot-on for what I'm looking for.

How about DJ Quals?

Well, my personal knowledge based on shows I watched is tapped out, but I remembered there's a new sitcom on CBS that centers around geeky characters.

That's Johnny Galecki, who plays the main character on the show and previously starred in the sitcom Roseanne.

He doesn't habitually wear glasses, but seriously, look for images of Rob Newman, a British Comedian who's appeared on 'The Mary Whitehouse Experience' and 'Baddiel and Newman: In Pieces'.
He has a very similar look to James Callis, but yeah... no glasses.

If you NEED the specs, see if you can find pictures of 'Whitehouse' era David Baddiel (basically anything where he's clean-shaven).

He's a wee bit 'Harry Potter', alas. I think Newman's your man.
