This is my first post on this forum I know these posts always come up. But i was just hoping for some input.
What is or has been worth it in the DC U in the last couple of years. I am catching up right now and i am willing to go back pretty far, like around 05. So basically what has been worth picking up either recently or in the last few years.

Ive read and loved, Identity Crisis, Omac project, and Green Lantern reborn. I'm currently working on catchin up with Gl and GL Corps and Gotham Central and i like it. I have also started batman and detective comics with the war games series (not too impressed but i hear it picks up). Im hoping to get all star superman cause i hear its great. And i wanna get through infinite crisis and catch up but it just seems like kinda a mess from there with the one year later, 52, and countdown, i dont even know where to start.

So basically what's out there that i must pick up, what's hot now, or whats been consistantly good for the last couple years, and if there is anything worth picking up where is a good starting point, i am willing to reach pretty far back so let me know

Thanks i appreciate any responses, i am going to post something like this on the Marvel board and am looking forward to any and all input

I recommend:
Green Lantern
Green Lantern Corps
Checkmate
Justice Society of America
Jonah Hex
and now defunct Hawkman

GL and GL Corps, both get to a point that says 'continued in Sinestro Corps War Special' then it goes back into Gl and GL Corps. That's the best story DC has released since Watchmen.

If you liked The Omac Project, definitely buy Checkmate. It's basically the same comic.
