If any villain deserves a fan thread it's Doctor Octopus.

-The first villain to defeat and humiliate Spider-Man.
-The first villain to unmask Spider-Man.
-He formed the Sinister Six
-He was the Master Planner
-He was involved in the death of Captain Stacy
-He tried to marry into Peter's family for May's inheritance
-He's started gang wars with Hammerhead and the Owl
-He's used,abused and back stabbed the Sinister Six
-He's tried to blow up New York,rule the world,was in Secret Wars
-He saved Peter's life so he could be the one to kill him

There is no end to Doc Ock's fiendishness.So appreciate this tentacled mad man to the fullest.From the comics (both 616 and Ultimate),cartoons,and of course Alfred Molina's fantastic performance of him in SM-2.

Damn, I do love Doc Ock. He's my second favorite Spidey-villian.

Last time we saw him was in that SSM Unmaked issue where he got punched by Spidey while RAS's pet character gave a speech to distract him.

Lame.

I hear that BND will introduce new villians but I really want the good Doctor back in action.

I believe he's locked up somewhere since that SSM issue.

Norman Osborne/ The REAL Green Goblin

He banged AND killed Peter's first true love, tortured Peter to become his true son, kidnapped and buried Aunt May, harrassed MJ, pretty much ruined peter's relationship with his best friend Harry, and cloned Spider-man and killed Ben Reilly.

It is unknown whether or not he got/has Peter's and MJ's baby and what he did to him/her.

Doc Ock is still a bad ass. IMO, he is the best Marvel Movie villian.:cool:

As much as I love Millar's run on MK Spider-Man, I was dissappointed in his poor use of Doc Ock.

He was just a mindless monster on a rampage and not the charming doctor we all know and love.

I'd love to see a real Green Goblin/Dr. octopus confontation. I've always viewed Dr. octopus as the number one Spider-badguy. There's just so much to work with with the character.

The Erik larsen Sinister 6 storyline goes down as one of my absolute favorite Spider-man stories ever. Possibly THE number one.

I absolutely love Dr. Octopus. He is one of my three favorite Spider-Man villains ever. His whole idea is awesome, his visual rocks, and he has his own spin on evil genius.
I think his best moment was when he acted like a coward to Fusion, when it turns out the whole time he was playing everyone for saps.
Another great moment was when Otto manipulated Spider-Man into his trap by laying his tracker down in a building, and when Peter went to find Doc Ock, the four tentacled villain sprung from nowhere before Spider-Man could react. Then he proceeds in beating the crap out of him. Awesome.

I love Doc Ock. He's one of the greatest villains ever and he's definitely in my Top Five Favourite Spider-Man Villains of all time. I think that it's about time that there was another new story dedicated to the fine Doctor.
