Best Batman figure to buy?

I'm trying to find which is the best Batman figure to buy but DC's figures are so confusing... so many different scales and amounts of articulation.

I was looking at the Batman and Son figures but I'm not sure.

Any recommendations?

In terms of price and articulation your best bet might be the Mattel figures. From DC Direct, I guess it would depend on what's your prefered era/interpretation of Batman.

The Batman from the Hush toy line is a good one but is expensive now. The one coming out for the JLA that is sculpted after Ed Benes art looks pretty sweet IMO.

There's so many that it depends on what 'flavor' of Batman you prefer.

DC Direct has done, and is doing some nice ones. Some of my favorites are the Hush Batman, the Identity Crisis Batman (the only Turner figure I like), the Ed McGuinness Superman/Batman one. The very recent Batman and Son version (based on Andy Kubert's art) is very nice, as well. And the upcoming Trinity Batman (based on Matt Wagner's art) looks awesome, too.

Mattel's got some great ones. There's a black/grey Batman out now (part of the Clayface/Catwoman/Nightwing wave) that's near perfect.

Of course in January they've got a Classic Batman (blue/grey, yellow oval, capsule belt) coming in Wave 1 of DC Universe.

I recommend hopping over to some of the action figure sites like:

The Batman from Superman/Batman series 1 is cool, I like the Batman and son figure myself too.

Hi guys, I'm still fairly new to the boards and I've collected some action figures from DC Direct, DC Superheroes to Marvel Legends. The size of an average figure is around 6 inches.

Out of the many Bats I have, IMO the best is the one from Batman and Son, followed by the Hush Batman...but they aren't as articulated as the ones released by Mattel, from DC Superheroes line-up.

My personal favorites are the Alex Ross Batman from the Batman through the Ages four pack (found the set cheap) and the Crisis Batman.
