Ras Al Ghul and Lady Shiva?

Ok I know back in the day Shiva ran the LoA, which was created by Ras as the "fang that protects the head". What kinda working relationship did they have? I don't see Shiva that devoted to Ras' beliefs, and i don't believe that Ras would have wanted such a powerful, charasmatic leader that could have challenged him.

So what was their working relationship like

No, she didn't.

I believe the first time Shiva was given any link at all to Ra's was during Hush, when Loeb was desperately finding ways to have every character but Batgirl have a cameo. Even then she wasn't said to be a member of the League, just a killer in Ra's al Ghul's hire. Afterwards she agreed to lead Nyssa's League in order to get at Batgirl, but that "League" lasted a couple of months at most. And a retcon was added to her origin saying she received League training in return for having a child with Cain, but never joined the League and left them as soon as Batgirl was born.
