This is a story specially written for my upcoming RP in the CBR Traitor Game in the Community Forum. This will let the other players know more about my character of Taichi Yagami. Thank you and enjoy.

Chapter One: The Fight
It began that night. The monstrous creature tackled the feather fiend but it retaliated and struggled against the prehistoric lizard. In one corner, the two young ones watched in silence. The boy with the messy hairdo was only concerned about his little sister, the innocent toddler in her pink pajamas, who naively cheered for the orange, striped reptile, as it pushed itself against the green, feathery parrot.

It all started one night earlier. Data streams of zeros and ones swarm the starry sky above, some yellow, some red, some green. In an apartment of one of the blocks below the night sky, a toddler with a whistle in her mouth, Hikari Yagami, looked upon the screen of the monitor in the computer room as the same stream of zeros and ones were running across it. She let go of her whistle in surprise, just when her brother, Taichi Yagami, in a blue pajamas rather than a pink one like she was wearing, got up from his slumber and rubbed his eye. He turned his body around and placed his foot on a step of the ladder beside his bunk, before placing his other foot on the next one but missing the next one, almost making him crash on the floor.

The young boy made his way to the bathroom after his little intense moment, ignorant of his sister's absence from the bedroom.

Two minutes gone past by. With a pull of the plunger and a flush of water, Taichi came out of the bathroom, his cat asleep on top of a chair in the dining room. Still rubbing his eye, he walked past by the slumbering pet. Just when he grabbed onto the handle of the door to his bedroom, he noticed a light coming from a small opening due to the door to the computer room not properly closed.

"Huh?" wondered the child, letting go of the handle before turning around towards the unclosed door.

Tai peeked through the small opening, thinking it was his father working late in the room. "Dad...?"

However, he saw his sister watching the monitor with a red screen, as if she was dumbstruck by the image. "Hikari...? What are you doing here?"

Hikari continued to survey the red, data stream image. "Egg," she replied.

"Egg?" asked Taichi.

Just then, an egg-like object appeared in the centre of the monitor while a green data stream-like bar entered it after circling it for a bit. Taichi then had the same dumbstruck expression as his sister as he watched the egg. A second later, something oval-like started to form on the surface of the monitor itself, as if the egg was coming out of the screen...

And so, the children had egg for breakfast. After that, they discussed about what to do with the egg that came out of their computer the previous night, without their mother's acknowledgment, of course. A few minutes later, however, the egg hatched, and out came the first digitalized monster to ever step, or bounce, on Earth, Botamon. Hikari seemed to be attach to it, while Taichi had trouble interacting with it, for a while.

Soon, when Hikari and the black, furry monster had a hugging session, (if it had any limbs or a body) it "changed". From the yellow-eyed, small-eared creature, it turned into a pink creature with jaws this time, two tentacle-like organs replacing the ears, and big, red eyes with pupils in them, unlike its previous form. Koromon, the small, round, rolling digital monster, or Digimon for short.

Later, the kids learned that the creature could talk, too. So they started interacting with it, verbally this time. They also learned that he poops. A lot.

Later that night, the electrical appliances around all the blocks started going haywire. And what's more, Koromon looked very ill. Hence, Hikari woke Taichi up by blowing her whistle.

"What's wrong?" asked Taichi after he got up rapidly.

A moment later, Koromon started to grow. And grow. And grow. His head vurst through the top bunk of the bed as his body protrude down against the bottom bunk, breaking it apart, too. Soon, a yellow colored creature with a huge snout, a large body with big, sharp claws on its paws and feet which it stood on, surveyed the room with its large, green eyes, just when the father returned, drunk, as always.

Mr Yagami walked towards the bedroom, wanting to give the kids a goodnight kiss. But Taichi held the handle of the door firmly, preventing the door from budging. Fortunately, Mrs Yagami was with him all that time, repeatedly persuading him to return to their room, as the kids might be sleeping already, causing Mr Yagami to give up trying to open the door. Unfortunately, the big, yellow lizard inside the bedroom walked towards the window, gazing outside; with Hikari riding on it.

It burst through parts of the walls on each side of the balcony as it tried to enter. It looked down from the platform, it jumped from it and crashing right onto the top of a cab, before walking away with a toddler in a pink animal suit on its back.

Taichi, on the other hand, ran out of his house in search of his sister, with his mother yelling at him, asking about his sudden action.

"Hikari!" yelled Taichi when he reached the streets. "Hikari! Where did they go?"

On the other side of the town, a yellow-scaled creature walked on the road, avoiding traffic along the way, easily, too, with the traffic being light in that time of the night.

However, when a truck headed towards it, it was nearly knocked down by it. Nearly, if not for his excellent jumping skills.

After avoiding the white truck, it opened its mouth... and fired a ball of fire at it, even though missing it, hitting a phone booth nearby instead.

"Koromon," said Hikari, ignorant of the creature's change of name due to the mute of it, Agumon, the biting digital monster, "Koromon, don't, Koromon, stop, Koromon, please, Koromon!"

Regardless of Hikari's beggings, Agumon readied a fireball when a bus, similar to the truck that almost knock it down a couple of moments ago, passed by, when the sound of a helicopter distracted the creature, causing it to fire at the copter instead. This in turn led Taichi to its location, as the fireballs swung through the sky.

As Agumon continued to walk along the streets with a toddler on its back, the electrical appliances around the town started to go crazy, just like those of the blocks, when Koromon changed its form. Soon, some sort of black-colored energy field formed into an egg-like structure... in the sky. A giant-sized egg-like structure.

After a few seconds, the egg hatched, and out came a gigantic parrot-like creature with yellow beaks and green, soft feathers. Though not as big as the egg it hatched from, it was big, big enough to catch the attention of Agumon when it flew past it and an overhead bridge. This led to Agumon firing at it due to hostility, as with everything else. Its shots missed the feathery creature, hitting the side of a block instead. Nevertheless, Parrotmon, the parrot digital monster, turned around, flying its way towards Agumon. When it reached a distance away from the smaller-than-it lizard, it descended on the road, with Agumon continuing to fire its fiery attacks at it, with not much affection.

"Koromon, don't!" begged Hikari, just when Taichi arrived in the scene, trying his best to pull his sister away from danger.

Just when Agumon pulled another shot, this time on the husk on the head of Parrotmon, sparks of electricity appeared on the husk. Children who came out of their apartments to see what was going on, gasped. Taichi struggled with Hikari struggling with Agumon, they instantly stopped what they were doing, too, and looked upon Parrotmon's husk, who, moments later, unleashed two large spark of electricity towards the overhead bridge above them, causing it to crash upon them.

The audience watching gasped, again, thinking that the yellow lizard has lost. Suddenly, the electrical appliances, once again, went berserk. The lights in each apartment flashed on and off, the phones went through static, and standing in where Agumon once stood, is an orange, dinosaur-like creature with two horns on each side of a mask-like object it worn on his head, with a third horn on the tip of its nose. Greymon, the great digital monster.

The 'blue stripes on orange scale' creature got on its feet, with Taichi and Hikari safely protected underneath. Taichi eyed Greymon as it eyed back, as if they had an understanding of each other, before Greymon fired a blast of white, fireball-like charge towards Parrotmon, charged towards Parrotmon and tackled it, while it struggled against the weight of the orange monstrosity.

And that's where we started our story.

The Fight (part two)
Nevertheless, Greymon's strength was no match for that of Parrotmon, as it pushed its way towards Greymon, grabbed it by its throat and smashing it towards the ground. As it tried to land another blow on the seemingly prehistoric creature, Greymon grabbed Parrotmon's claw before it strike him. As it got up, it pushed its way against Parrotmon, grabbing Parrotmon's other claw.

As hard as it tried, it failed to withstand the strength of Parrotmon, as Parrotmon pushed it away, before blasting it with another strike of electricity, causing it to be flung towards the two children, with Taichi fortunately pulling Hikari away before Greymon crashed towards them.

Hikari, however, tried to struggle free from Taichi, repeatedly yelling "Koromon". Taichi would not allow his sister from getting into harm's way, however. He could only watch as his sister teared upon his arm while Greymon laid fainted, possibly even dead.

Seeing its opponent is down, Parrotmon slowly walked towards Greymon, readied to send another attack towards it.

"Koromon, wake up!" yelled Taichi.

The people in front of their apartments gasped, as Parrotmon charged up sparks of electricity on its husk.

Taichi could only watch. He could had done nothing to make any difference, so he thought. He could only sit there with his sister in his arms. Then, he cried. He cried as he waited for the end of all that, for the end of Greymon.

When all seemed lost, Hikari did the only thing she could do; she blew on her whistle. Soft tune from the whistle came to Taichi's ears. He opened his eyes, and saw the coughing Hikari trying her best to revive Greymon.

"Hikari..."

Seeing this, he grabbed the whistle from her, and blew as hard as he could.

It was only then the people in the blocks noticed Taichi.

Moments passed, nothing... until the eyelids of the fainted one went wide opened. It got up immediately and charged up a stream of energy...

"Fire!" exclaimed Taichi.

Greymon opened its jaws, letting out a white stream of hot, fiery flame towards Parrotmon, engulfing everything in its path, while Taichi turned his head away from the bright flash.

And it was over.

Other than a huge pile of wreckage, there was nothing else. No large, orange dinosaurs. No green, electrifying parrots. No monsters at all. Only the young audiences, Taichi and Hikari, who repeatedly called out Koromon's name.

Whoever said there's no such thing as monsters?

Four years have passed since the incident at the town of Highton View Terrace. By then, every witness of the event has forgotten about it, due to all eight witnesses being much younger than they were after the four years passed by. The parents of these children, however, assumed a terrorist attack occurred. Hence, they got their children and everything they need and they moved away from the forgotten town of Highton View.

Coincidentally, six of the witnesses went to the same school together. And on that fine, sunny afternoon, the seven children, including the younger brother of one of them, gathered together on a plain, grassy field during their class summer camp. These seven children consisted of the following, Takeru "T. K." Takaishi, the younger brother of Yamato "Matt" Ishida, who let Takeru tagged along for his summer came, even though he did not go to the same school as him. Then there is Joe Kido, a dependable and thoughtful child. The oldest of the group, too, though he is sometimes paranoid. The one with the cowgirl hat and the red dress would be Mimi Tachikawa, a slightly selfish ditz who can be caring and kind from time to time. The redhead with the yellow laptop would be Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi, intelligent and logical. Every group would require a girl that is good-looking and kind. Mimi fits the good-looking part, but Sora Takenouchi would be the pretty and kind one, not to mention supportive, acting as a motherly figure. And of course, there is our main protagonist, Taichi "Tai" Yagami, thick-headed but brave.

That day, everyone was just lazing around the campsite. Taichi was laying on the branch of a tree, Koushiro was in the villa surfing the Internet, Joe was looking for food for the group, while the rest of the class were elsewhere packing up their things, as it was their last day of summer camp. Suddenly, while daydreaming about the faint image of the orange dinosaur he saw in his dream the other night, a snowflake landed on his nose, startling him. He got up, and looked around for the chilly object that touched his nose, and saw some snow on it.

Elsewhere, while bringing some fishes back to the campsite, Joe encountered the same phenomenon, witnessing snowflakes falling from the sky, as did Yamato, Sora, and the other children at the campsite.

And as unexpected as the snowflakes, a blizzard suddenly hit the camping ground, forcing the camp instructor to get the children into their villas. The blizzard stayed strong for thirty minutes or so. During that time, the children wondered among themselves about the strange occurrence.

The blizzard was not the only strange weather that occurred during that time. Flash floods occurred in Egypt, heatwave in New York, these were just a few of the abnormal weather problems people faced around the world.

After the blizzard was over, lumps of snow littered the villa, the trees and the once plain, green, warm field. The children peeked outside the window, confirming the stopping of the blizzard.

"Looks like the canoe races were canceled," Taichi assumed as he made his way out of the villa. "So let's have toboggan races instead!"

Following behind Taichi was a blonde little boy with a large, green hat with a blue oval on the front. "I'm gonna build the biggest snowman!" exclaimed Takeru as he rushed out of the villa.

Being the protective brother he is, Yamato rushed towards his little brother, making sure he is not out of his sight. "Hey, T.K.! Be careful. Slow down!"

"Brr! It is freezing," said the girl with a blue, egg-shaped hat, Sora Takenouchi. "And I didn't bring a jacket."

"Man! I was worried I'd catch a summer cold. But this is even worse!" complained Joe, who came out just before Mimi appeared beside him.

"Ahh! Wow!" exclaimed Mimi as she ran onto the snow-covered field. "Why didn't I pack my fluffy pink snow boots?"

While the children were outside the villa playing with the summer snow, Koushiro remained indoor, fiddling with his laptop, trying to get a connection to it. "Still not working. Bummer," Koushiro said to himself before raising a small device the size of a cellphone, "This storm's making a mess of my infrared internet connection."

"Hey, what's your name... Koushiro!" yelled Taichi all of a sudden. "Come on out here, you gotta see this!"

Being the curious boy he is, Koushiro left his laptop and headed outside to check out whatever Taichi had just asked him to see. And when he did, he sighed in awe, even though he had no idea what the colorful waves of light in the sky was.

"It's beautiful," claimed Mimi as she stood among the other six children, watching the waves of light as they flashed across the sky. "Magical even."

"Yeah," agreed Taichi, admiring the rainbow-colored lights with his mouth still hanging open.

"Yeah, but what is it?" asked Koushiro.

"Maybe an aurora?" suggested Sora.

"You mean Aurora Borealis? The northern lights? That's impossible." Koushiro contradicted, before explaining the reason. "You see, that’s in Alaska. We're way too far south."

"Tell that to the snow," Sora pointed out.

"I really think we ought to get back inside before we all come down with pneumonia," suggested Joe.

"And miss this?" questioned Yamato. "The sky is like, short-circuiting!"

As another wave of light passed along the sky, Taichi noticed a green, faint but visible circular spiral of light appearing behind the aurora-like objects.

The spiral of green lights gradually grew bigger, before a beam of light appeared from the center of the spiral, and heading towards the children, splitting itself into seven beams of crimson light instead, and got closer to the children with each passing second... before they crashed in front of each child with an explosion, whipping up waves of snow.

"Everyone, are you alright?" Sora asked urgently as soon as the dust cleared up.

"We're still here," answered Yamato while helping Takeru up.

"That was scary," Mimi replied while holding down the brim of her hat.

Sitting on his butt, Joe slowly recovered from the explosion. "What... what was it?!"

Koushiro decided to take a closer look. He crawled towards one of the holes one beam of light created and peeked inside. "Meteors?" Just then, a flash of light glowed from the hole, and a squarish object gradually floated from the light, out of the hole. "Okay, so it's not meteors."

Soon after, the same thing occurred to the other six holes those beams of light created, leaving the children sighing in awe once again. Gradually, the objects floated higher and higher, till it reached the grasp of the children. They grabbed the mechanism, and examined them.

"What... are these?" asked Sora.

"My guess is some sort of miniature remote digital apparatus," Koushiro assumed.

However, the children had no time to figure out what the device they held in their hands were, as soon after, a huge gush of wave suddenly appeared and washed them away, leaving the children unconscious of what was happening to them and what would be happening to them...

"Taichi..." a little voice said as it tried to wake up the barely conscious human boy, "Taichi!"

Signs of consciousness began to show as the eyelids of the human boy wiggled a little, before he gradually opened his eyes as he tried to get a grip of his surrounding.

"I'm okay..." he replied, before tilting his head a little towards his body as he felt something is sitting on it, "huh?" What he saw next was a pink, monstrous face with teeth sticking out of its mouth while its shining, blinking, crimson red eyes stared right back at him.

A little shocked at first, Taichi later learned that he is on an island called File Island along with the other six children who witnessed the beams of light that crashed upon them. Also, he learned that the pink-colored monstrosity is actually called, "Koromon", though he had no recollection of the Koromon and the incidents relating to it four years ago. The other six children appeared to have their own digitalized monsters, too.

Later, after encountering a gigantic, red, flying beetle with a set of sharp, flesh-tearing jaws, the children learned that the mechanism that crashed upon the campsite earlier was actually a device that allowed the Digimon to grow or, evolve into another form. This allowed Koromon, then Agumon after its transformation, and the other Digimon that got partnered with the other children, to change forms and almost defeating the "Kuwagamon", the stag beetle digital monster.

After they barely escaped from killer jaws of Kuwagamon, the children decided to explore the island, hoping to find a way out of it. However, what they found instead was that there were bad-ass Digimon like Kuwagamon roaming about the island, some born nasty, some turned evil by a gear-like object known as the Black Gear, created by a dark being called Devilmon, the devil digital monster. However, it was defeated by one of the children's Digimon partner, Patamon, who evolved itself once again to an angelic Digimon with a golden rod in its disposal, which it turned into an energy beam that not only shattered Devilmon's data, but exhausted it's own energy, causing Angelmon, the angel Digimon, to devolved back into its egg-form.

After they assumed they defeated the evil that plagued the island, the Digimon allies they gained throughout their adventure, not just their Digimon partners, but Digimon they helped liberate from the control of the Black Gear, helped the children in return, to build a raft which the children used to sail across the open sea, hopefully finding their home, once again.

Something I forgot to mention. During the time after Devilmon was destroyed by Angelmon, a hologram of a baldy old man with a stalk of tied hair growing out of the center of his head, appeared above a portal-like structure, startling the children, causing them to mistake him as a friend of Devilmon. The man in the odd red and black suit called himself Genai and claimed that he is human yet he is not, he is a friend to all yet he is a friend to none. He called the children by, "The Chosen Children".

Later, he explained that he needs their assistance as Digimon similar to the evil and nasty ones they defeated were roaming about on the island of Server, across the ocean, where he was sending the transmission from. Genai then acknowledged Koushiro that he had send the location of the island into his computer. He also explained that the Digimon partners of each so-called Chosen Child can evolve further into a much advance stage through the use of crests in tags that are distributed in separate parts of Server. The tags, however, were hidden away in a secret cache by Devilmon which Genai could not say even if he knew where it was as the transmission was interrupted abruptly, before Genai disappeared from sight.

And that was the reason of the trip overseas, no puns intended. However, later the night, after dinner, Joe pointed out that he had doubts about leaving the liberated File Island and heading for the island of Server filled with unknown evil. He suggested that they stay on the island as there was food, water, no evil monsters or Black Gears due to their victory over Devilmon. Sora agreed that they should wait it out till they could figure out if going to Server was such a fancy idea. Taichi obviously did not agree with the idea of waiting and not doing anything as it might mean the decreasing chances of their opportunity to go home. When everyone else almost got the group to stay on the island for good, the youngest of the group, Takeru, spoke up and claimed that Angelmon degenerated into an egg while fighting Devilmon. Hence, if the children does not go to the island and defeat the evil there, Angelmon's de-evolution would had been meaningless. Agumon then claimed its wanting to go to the island, too, as it wanted to see the form of its next evolution, after Greymon. Agumon also pointed out that if they evolve further, their chances of defeating the evil that plagued that land of Server would be higher. The group then decided, "We're going to Server!"

The next morning, the children started their construction of the raft, with the help of the ally Digimon, too. When the raft was completed, they prepare to set off to the island of Server when suddenly, the egg Takeru was holding hatched, before a white, jelly-like creature crawled out of its egg shell. The ally Digimon then wished the children good luck in their journey to find the tags and the crests and defeating the new evil that was plaguing the island of Server while the children ascended into the horizon, saying their good byes to the Digimon on the shore.

Everything seemed fine at first during their trip. The wind was calm, the sea was peaceful, the waves rocked the raft gently back and forth. During one of those peaceful moments, the children were discussing about their fighting strategy for the new evil upon Server, when suddenly, a gigantic brown-colored object resembling an island surfaced from the ocean. The island turned out to be a whale-like creature who then dived back into the ocean, causing massive waves that rocked the raft violently, sending it flying from crest to trough, vise versa. It then surfaced again and did a back-dive, revealing its indigo underbelly, creating another strong, violent wave. In the end, it opened its jaws and sucked in the water, along with the children on the raft, too, into its mouth, sending the children down through its throat while being attacked by anti-bodies, before the raft stopped in its stomach. A bit later, Koushiro noticed a brown liquid was produced from the inner layer of the stomach; the layer the children was facing, scientifically known to Koushiro as the "gastric juice". The children also noticed a black-colored gear stuck to the upper part of the stomach inside, and understood the reason the creature attacked them. Palmon, a flowery partner Digimon of the children, unleashed its vines from its hands onto the gear, letting Taichi climb under to get to the gear, hoping to remove it. When Taichi was near the gear, however, the mechanism that evolved Agumon, the Digivice, as one of the ally Digimon on File Island called it, suddenly gave off a bright flash of light, before the gear in the stomach crumpled into pieces, causing Palmon's vines to be unhooked and sending Taichi into the digestive juice. Fortunately, Palmon retracted its vines while Taichi was grabbing onto one of them, making him safely landing onto the raft.

After all the commotion, the juice below the raft suddenly rises, sending the raft through the blow-hole of the creature and flying towards the sea, destroying the raft along the way. The creature then introduced itself as Whamon and apologized for its action, though the children, other than Mimi who was still startled when Whamon swam over, knew that it was the cause of the Black Gear. Whamon then offered the children a ride when they said they were heading to the island of Server.

Along the way, while standing on Whamon's body, the children discussed about the tags and crests which their transportation overheard.

"I don't know about tags and crests, but Devilmon hid something, deep in the bottom of the ocean."

Whamon then asked the children to ride inside it, before it descended itself into the water. When it reached land in a cavern, Whamon asked the children to go on ahead to get the tags as it cannot travel on land. When the children walked for a distance, they found a convenient store standing before them. When they ran for it, however, something started to shake the ground beneath them, before a purple, mole-like creature with a drill as its nose attacked them. The children noticed it has also a Black Gear on its body. Hence, Gomamon, another Digimon partner resembling a white seal with red hair on its head, evolved into its Adult stage, Ikkakumon, a large, furry creature with a large horn on its head which Ikkakumon used to tackle the drill of the attacking drill-horned while the children rushed towards the convenient store behind it. Ikkakumon proved too destructive with its exploding cannon it shoots from its horn. Hence, Tentomon, a partner Digimon that resembles a red, green-eyed beetle with spikes on its back, evolved itself into Kabuterimon, a larger beetle-like Digimon with more revealing arms than its previous form and an armored head with a large horn on it. The insectoid creature tried to blast the furry critter with futile effects. Agumon then exclaimed that it should blast the Black Gear on its body, with Kabuterimon doing so after, causing Drimogemon, the drill mole Digimon, to regain its consciousness, before apologizing to the children and telling them that the tags were in a box inside the store. At the same time, Poyomon, the Baby stage 1 of Patamon and Angelmon, found itself into a small corner in the store, before Takeru grabbed him out of there. When he did, he saw Poyomon holding onto a small box under its stubby tentacles, letting Takeru and the other children to find the tags hidden inside the box. After retrieving the tags, the children continued their journey to Server while riding on Whamon, continuing on to their next adventure.

After a short period of five days and four nights, the Chosen Children have finally arrived upon the island of Server, which they learned is a continent instead of an isle.

After Whamon "helped" Mimi get on Server... and Koushiro, it bid goodbye to the children before diving into the ocean.

After Whamon disappeared from sight, Mimi asked about their next destination. Palmon then told her about the conversation they had with Whamon when she was still asleep. Earlier, Whamon told the children about the Koromon village in a forest near their drop-off location which might assist them in finding each of their crests. Agumon reminded the children that itself was a Koromon when the they arrived on File Island before it evolved through the power of the Digivice and turn into what it was then.

As the children traveled through a harsh, torrid wasteland, a scent suddenly hit Agumon's nostrils. It raised its snout, sniffing the air in the surrounding.

"Taichi, I smelled Koromon over in this direction!" Agumon pointed with its paw.

Using his miniature telescope, Taichi scoped out the area Agumon pointed, and through it, he saw a patch of green, lush forest in the distance. Without giving a second thought, Taichi and Agumon led the group towards the forest with them running as fast as they could. And soon enough, they reached the stalks of thick trees that made up the forest while the others caught up with the two.

After only a hundred meter or two, the trees aligned to both sides of them came to a stop, where in the distance, a group of tiny huts surrounding a tall tower on a patch of land untouched by vegetations of any sort could be seen. And when Mimi saw the village, along with the others, she cheered, hopped, rushed down the slope and ran towards the village, desperate for a bath in that hot weather surrounding the area. However, when she arrived in the village yelling for someone to prepare her a bath, she saw a group of grey, round, orange-eyed, body-less creatures with ears resembling arms tucking in one's waist instead of the pink, crimson-eyed, body-less creatures with ears resembling tentacles of jellyfishes pointing backwards.

"Palmon, do you really think those are Koromon?" asked a confused Mimi as she tilted her head filled with long, brown, coffee-colored hair.

"No way!" exclaimed the green-eyed, plant-like Digimon. "These are Pagumon!"

The grinning, suspicious "Pagumon" then crowded Mimi and Palmon, before causing Palmon to fall on the ground and Mimi to fall on their ears which, apparently, are capable of holding the weight of a young child. As they moved rapidly away into the distance with Mimi above them, Palmon got up from its fall while the Taichi and the others caught up behind it.

"Don't let them get away!" yelled Joe while quickly exhausted from the running.

Finally coming to a stop, to Joe's relief, the children looked for signs of Mimi's location, when they heard a scream from the tower that resembled Mimi's voice. Hurriedly, they rushed inside calling out her name, till Sora noticed Mimi's pink, cowboy hat on a stack of stairs nearby. Sora checked the strap tying to it to confirm it belonging to Mimi. The others followed Sora upstairs when Taichi noticed Mimi's purse at the end of a curtained hallway to the left. Koushiro then followed Taichi down the hallway, passing the yellow curtains aligning it, before Taichi entered a room enclosed with not a door but a set of curtains which he flipped open with a dramatic amount of strength.

"That's it!" exclaimed Taichi before approaching another room enclosed with yet another set of curtains.

Behind Taichi, Koushiro followed while Sora, behind Koushiro, saw a basket of clothes placed on a rack. A basket of rose red clothes resembling those of Mimi's.

"No, Taichi, don't go in there!"

However, Taichi was already starting to flip open the curtains to find none other than the ponytailed girl with the long, copper brown hair... bathing.

"Er, Mimi, sorry!" exclaimed Koushiro when he entered the room after Taichi.

"Huh?" Mimi turned her head only to find two male children staring at her while she was bathing in a hot tub. Obviously, she covered herself with her arms while yelling at the two idiots. "Haven't you heard of the phrase, 'Knock before entering'?!"

The two blushing children freaked out, wiggling their arms while Mimi threw bottles of shampoo and hair-conditioners at them, striking them on their heads.

"I believe I told you not to go in there," explained Sora after closing the curtains with her pink, gloved hands.

Nighttime.

"Welcome to our village,
we hope you never go!
Stay and please sit here with us
and please enjoy the show!"

While the Pagumon were welcoming our heroes, both the Digimon partners and the human ones had their suspicions about the Pagumon, except the ignorant, thick-headed ones like Mimi and of course, Taichi.

During their bickering, after Takeru fed Poyomon one of the apples the Pagumon offered them, a flash of light glowed from Poyomon, before it started to change shape. What once was a soft, wobbly creature with black dots as eyes was then a soft, wobbly, fat creature with black dots as eyes and stubby legs with two antenna growing out of its head.

"Hey, it evolved to Tokomon again!" exclaimed Takeru, hugging the newly evolved Digimon that jumped into his arms while Mimi cheered for its evolution, with the Pagumon joining in a second later.

It was after midnight, when everyone was asleep... except a group of oval shaped, bouncing things that made its way towards Tokomon. A faint shine of moonlight revealed those things to be Pagumon. Tokomon opened his eyes gradually when it sensed a loom of shadows crowding over the little light that shined upon the room. When it did, a group of grinning creatures with orange, devilish eyes was what he saw, before seeing itself being tied up with a brown rope and carried away by the devilish creatures. It tried to yell for help, but one of the Pagumon covered the mouth of Tokomon mouth with its ear.

With the life of the captive lying on their ears, the Pagumon traveled a distance from the hut the other children were snoozing in before coming to a stop in an open, grassy area, just beside a stony hilltop. However, just when they were about to torture their new toy, giggling and laughing to themselves like mad men, three bipedal hare-like creatures suddenly stepped up towards the Pagumon from the top of the hill. Even though the Pagumon were startled by their suddenly appearance and stopped their poking and mocking of the poor, little critter, the two grey, furry Gazimon, the eating monster, were in-fact twice as nasty as the Pagumon. http://www.thedigiport.com/deximages/gazimon2.jpg

"What do you guys think you are doing?!" exclaimed what seemed like the leader of the pack, the Gazimon that was standing in front of the other two, tucking its paws on its waist.

"Gazimon!" exclaimed the startled bullies, who moved aside in their surprise, revealing a helpless, tied Tokomon among the Pagumon.

"Where did that Tokomon come from?" questioned the same Gazimon, still tucking its paws onto its waist.

"Well the Tokomon came to our village with some human children, but I..." one of the Pagumon answered, while holding a stick it used to poke Tokomon earlier with its right ear.

"Human children?!" interrupted the three Gazimon.

"There are human children here?!" exclaimed the leader, before staring at the other Gazimon behind him, acknowledging their next move; to tell their dark master about it.

As for the Pagumon, they were ordered by the Gazimon to hid Tokomon behind a waterfall, until they could figure out their next move. When the Pagumon did, and threw it inside a cage before leaving the shadowy cavern, Tokomon's skin started to crawl all over the place, as tens of red-colored eyes stared at it, causing Tokomon to shiver with fear.

The three Gazimon, standing guard on another rocky hill, near the waterfall, were making sure Tokomon was hid away nice and secure, as they did not want the children to find out what was happening on Server until they tell their lord about it. Hence, one of the Gazimon headed off in search of his overlord, hoping to tell him about the human children before they stop its master's plans, while the other Gazimon ordered the Pagumon to keep an eye on the human children, with the Pagumon agreeing with grinning faces.http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/digimon/images/d/d0/Pagumon.jpg

The next day, the Gazimon on search had little luck in finding his master, until the sound of rumbling came towards the scout when it arrived in a town filled with triangular shaped structures resembling large telephone booths. The rumbling turned out to be a large quadrupedal armored dinosaur resembling a Styracosaurus pulling a large gas tank behind its back. Gazimon stopped by the side of the gas tank-like structure and it revealed itself to be a trailer instead when the side of the structure went open, breathing white, misty smoke as beams of rainbow-colored lights shot out from the inside. When the smoke was clearing up, the silhouette of a humanoid with an Elvis-like hairdo appeared, before revealing itself to be a stitched up orange ape holding a microphone in its hand resembling a puppet doll with shades.

After the puppet ape, with a slender tail, made its introduction to Gazimon, the loyal servant revealed that, unlike the monitor of his master had shown, the human children had already arrived on the continent a day before, surprising the high-spirited Etemon, the monster who likes to do things at its own pace.
http://www.thedigiport.com/dex/etemon.jpg

Hitting a sequence of buttons on his computer panel, Etemon released the Ceratopsian-like creature, Monochromon, from the trailer before releasing a set of black-colored wires from it, sending it across the sand and dirt towards the village when the children resided, before it drove the trailer away with the wires acting as tracks, while Gazimon barely caught up on time as the iron husk of the trailer closes.

Meanwhile, in the village, the children discovered Tokomon's disappearance and got everyone to search for it, including Agumon who went on search on his own in another part of the area. The scent of Koromon was still there, leading Agumon behind a waterfall, encountering the tied-up Tokomon and the other red-eyes creatures that gave Tokomon the fright the previous night; a bunch of caged Koromon.

Using his claws as a tool, Agumon decided to lock-pick the padlocks sealing the gate to the cages containing the captive Digimon. He started by approaching one of the cages enclosing one of the groups of the Koromon villagers, attempting to pick the lock on the copper mechanism. However, while concentrating on freeing the Koromon, Agumon failed to notice the pair of Gazimon standing arrogantly behind it, smirking at the ignorance and foolishness they thought it possessed.

"I don't think that's such a good idea, you Agumon," said one of the Gazimon standing on the left, tucking its grey, furry limbs against its cottony, shaggy, white underbelly.

Agumon turned its head slightly just enough to get a view of the source of the voice. "But you're Gazimon."

"Exactly right," answered the Gazimon on the right while tucking its limbs on its waist, "and we'll be giving those human partners of your to our King Etemon!"

Hearing that, Agumon was definitely not going to let the two vile Digimon carry out their biddings, especially when it involves his human friends and his human partner, Taichi.

Nevertheless, the Gazimon raised their dark, acuate claws towards their head before leaping towards Agumon with their limbs, and claws, extended, tackling the surprised lizard onto the cavern floor.

Standing upon the tower in the village, still scoping the surrounding area with his miniature telescope, Taichi began to worry about Agumon's overdue search. He turned his attention to searching for signs of Agumon instead of Tokomon, hoping to find some clue to the location of his reptile partner.

Meanwhile, the scaly lizard got back up into the fight, but it had little time to react before both Gazimon called out their "Paralyze Breath" attack while taking a deep breath, before opening their jaws and releasing a stench of poisonous, gaseous breath onto Agumon's snout, dismobilizing him, sending him crashing to the ground on his belly.

Agumon tried a different strategy; yelling. He yelled the name of his partner as loud as he could. However, the loud crashing waterfall kept his voice from spreading, and that was when he realized something. Calling out his attack as he breathed in, Agumon charged up a sphere of fireball, before releasing the attack onto the flowing waters of the fall, and repeating the process again.

"Baby Flame! Baby Flame! Baby Flame!"

After a series of attacks, the fireballs took effect, causing a smoke to be formed on the outer surface of the pouring waters, before the smoke grew bigger and rise into the sky.

In the distance, a scoping Taichi noticed smoke coming from the area by the river, where the Pagumon claimed they searched with no avail. Taichi decided he was going to search the area himself, when the Pagumon persuaded them not to.

"Hey, so what's the problem?" asked Sora, her suspicion rising. "We're just going to look around."

"Just take our word... for it," answered one of the Pagumon with some drops of sweat aligning its left eye.

Suddenly, a screech nearby caught the attention of everyone; it was Mimi, with a charcoal, bristly creature residing on her lap, which Tentomon explained to be a Botamon. The discovered confused Palmon as a Botamon is the pre-evolution of a Koromon, so a Botamon being in a Pagumon village seemed strange. That led the children to the truth; it ain't a Pagumon village.

"It's time for us to leave here,
we really hate to go!
We told you this was our place
and you now know it isn't so!"

As the Pagumon recited their poem, sneaking away while they did, the children decided they had no time to deal with the Pagumon, they needed to find Agumon and Tokomon fast.

Back in the cavern, the Gazimon continued to pummel the helpless Agumon who wondered if its partner were to ever arrive. Fortunately, Taichi was on his way towards the spot where he spotted the smoke. He called out Agumon's name, hoping for it to answer him. And it did.

"Taichi!"

Upon hearing his name, Taichi ran towards the source of the voice; behind the waterfall.

"Are you alright, Agumon?" asked Taichi, after seeing his nearly unconscious Digimon partner with his snout on the ground

"So, you're one of the Chosen Children Etemon told us about," one of the Gazimon grinned while observing the mighty force its master considered a threat.

"Evolve, Agumon!"

As the Digivice clipped to the shorts of Taichi illuminated the once dark cavern, so did Agumon who began to grow in size, till its head reached the roof of the cavern, and as the light gradually goes off, a horned titian dinosaur stood in the place of the midget lizard.

When the other children finally caught up with Taichi, Agumon has already completed its transformation to Greymon, which intimidated the Gazimon a little bit, pushing them outside the cavern, towards the waterfall.

"So you like two against one, huh?"

With a raise of his armored head, Greymon called out its attack before unleashing a large blast of fire towards the two shaking Gazimon, blasting them into the rapid waters.

"Mega Flame!"

After Takeru and Tokomon were reunited with hugs and joys, and the Koromon were freed, a loud, echoing voice suddenly appeared outside the cavern. When the children went outside with the Koromon following behind, they saw the hologram of an ape made out of cloth with shades and a pointy head. The Koromon exclaimed having recognizing the menace, Etemon. In another part of the forest, Etemon was standing on his trailer while the Gazimon on board a few minutes ago was then shooting his master with a video-recorder while his lord, or his enlarged hologram anyway, confronted the kids with a violet guitar in his hand.

After a few threats and a few exchange of words, Etemon called out his "Dark Network" attack, leading to a bunch of wires surfacing from the earth, floating into the sky, forming a dark, net-like structure before unleashing pink-black colored beams that began to demolish the village of Koromon, and the area the Chosen Children were in.

"Yamato!" exclaimed Sora, turning towards Yamato, "Evolve Gabumon now!"

The blonde boy in the green shirt nodded, before grabbing his Digivice and flashed it at his partner Digimon, Gabumon, the guzzling monster.

"Gabumon changes... to Garurumon!"

After a flash of light, the one-horned, blue-furred canine changed its shape into a large wolf-like Digimon with sharp, pointed fur that Tentomon claimed the other day could cut through just about anything. However, with a strum of his guitar, the tune immediately turned Greymon and Garurumon back to their Child Stage, Agumon and Gabumon. When questioned by Taichi, Agumon replied that the power of Etemon was too strong for them to handle, unless they evolve into the next stage after their Adult Stage.

Without warning, the 'dark network' struck again. Hence, the Koromon led the children back into the cavern as they knew a way to safety.

The children followed the Koromon for a moment before they came to a dead-end. The Koromon explained that the area is where they hide in whenever there is danger about.

Suddenly, before the children could decide their next move, Taichi noticed a golden glow beneath his blue t-shirt. It was his tag. He raised the chain tied to the tag and placed it outside his shirt, before the same golden glow from the tag, illuminated the tunnel. Just then, Taichi noticed something moving on a side of the wall; it was shrinking from a huge square to a small little rectangular shape before it floated towards Taichi's tag and slided into it, automatically.

The children cheered for a bit, before noticing the dead end that was there disappeared, revealing a clear path to another section of a large forest instead. The Koromon explained that the area is extremely far away from where Etemon attacked them, making them safe and secure.

Just then, a wire lying in the grass with electrical energy running along it sent the location of the children to the computer in Etemon's trailer. A shocked Etemon could not believe its eyes, if it had them. However, it was confident that it would catch the children in no time at all...

Next time on Digimon Adventure! I meant, er, Taichi: Warrior of Courage!
Taichi was very excited about his new crest and believed the new power is the only thing standing between Etemon and them. However, Taichi's recklessness towards the power of the crest caused an error in Agumon's evolution! Will Taichi be able to revert Skull Greymon's monstrosity?! Find out in the next Taichi: Warrior of Courage!

Wow, a very nice effort. You really could resume the Digimon storyline very well so far. Thank you for the thoughts.

Foreword: When I first came upon this story, it terrified me as I watch Greymon's terrible, horrible transformation.

After bidding their goodbyes to the Koromon, wishing them good luck in rebuilding their village, the Chosen Children continued their journey through a harsh, torrid desert filled with sand, sand, and more sand. As the kids they were, the heroes started to complain and whine. This worried Sora, while Taichi's impatience flared. He tried to convince the team that with his crest, everything would be fine; he would use it to evolve Agumon and defeat the evil that plagued this land. Obviously, some members of the team had doubts about that, mainly Yamato, who questioned about the power of the crest. Taichi, however, strongly believed that Agumon can and will evolve into its next stage after the Adult Stage. Koushiro then explained about how the Digimon triggered their evolution the first time only when the human partner was in some sort of danger, all due to a threat caused by other attacking Digimon. The redhead genius also explained that a significant amount of energy would be taken up each time they evolve, while Taichi assumed that an even greater amount of energy would be taken up if the evolution were to be taken further into the next step.

Meanwhile, on another part of the wide open desert, a grey, armored Monochromon pulled the large trailer Etemon resided in across the sandy wasteland. Etemon apparently had no idea where the children resided as it continued to make its empty threats.

On the other hand, Agumon faced danger of choking and exploding. The reason being Taichi's crazy idea of stuffing as much food into Agumon as possible in order to get it to evolve immediately. The source of the food came from the other unwilling children, though, as they watched Taichi stuff all their precious food into the also unwilling jaws of Agumon till its mouth it completely blocked from any access of air.

Koushiro and Sora then noticed Taichi's personality and characteristics being much more different from before, back then, too. Sora remembered a soccer match when Taichi made a great pass even though he had the chance to take the goal himself.

"Remember there's no 'I' in 'team'!" exclaimed the spiked-hair player back then.

As Taichi continued to stuff Agumon's face... snout, with food, Joe suddenly noticed a blue glow from his tag, shining beneath his white shirt under his beige sweater (in a hot day, too). Taichi overheard Joe's comment and grabbed his telescope. In the distance, Taichi's scope caught the sight of a large building-like structure. Hearing that, Joe ran towards the area as fast as he could, surprisingly, considering his asthma condition. However, his sudden burst of enthusiasm did not stop him from tripping on one of the cables (not wires, my mistake) hidden in the sand set out by Etemon. That action once again let Etemon received the information of their location.

Upon learning of their location, Etemon immediately called up the Gazimon nearest to that area; one that was sun-tanning under a pink and white umbrella while resting on a sun-deck. Etemon ordered the sentry to make preparation for its arrival and bring out the "special gift" for the children. The Gazimon then hurriedly rushed away for its duties.

While all that was happening, the children had arrived in the amazing coliseum filled with historical aspects and an ancient-like atmosphere... if you ignore the big-screen television set on top of one of the row of seats and the two soccer goals set on two separate ends of the arena.

However, the impatient Taichi had no time for admiration; he rushed everyone to find the crest of Joe as soon as possible, even the immobilized Agumon (immobilized by food, that is a first). Joe, however, claimed that he could just find his crest with Gomamon while the others could relax. Taichi opted to go with him, not to anyone's surprise.

While Taichi, Joe and the white, furry seal, Gomamon, were off in search of the crest, Sora found a soccer ball in the arena. Being a soccer-buff herself, Sora suggested for a soccer game with Yamato suggesting the Digimon playing against the humans. The game was cut short, however, when Taichi kicked the ball away into the sky... or more accurately, at the Gazimon in the vicinity.

Taichi was furious about the team doing such an immature act in such a time like that, while Joe's tag was reacting again when he went inside one of the goal post. Nevertheless, Etemon showed up unexpectedly. A set of clapping, gloved hands suddenly appeared on the big screen television before Etemon appeared on it with, as always, a microphone in its hand.

Seeing the Digimon on-screen was terrifying enough to send the children and their partner Digimon running towards the goal post Joe went into, except for Agumon, who was too heavy and stuffed to move rapidly.

Noticing Agumon separated from the group, Taichi tried to run out to get Agumon, when suddenly, the goal post tumbled on the children, sealing the children inside like a cage. Tentomon assumed the post was made of simple nets, until it was shocked by the electricity jolt of the net when it tried to break through the net.

After warning the children about the electrifying net, after Tentomon was shocked, not before, it then introduced to the children a very special guest it prepared for them. After its announcement, the sound of heavy footsteps approached the arena, before a Greymon with a cable tied around its neck appeared out of the blue.

"It's show-time!" announced the entertained Etemon.

"Agumon, evolving time!"

"Agumon changes... to Greymon!"

The yellowish lizard grew in its size as a helmet-like structure grew upon its head, before its transformation is completed, beginning the battle of the Greymon.

And the match began! The two Greymon began their battle by tackling each other, pushing against each other by their claws, before Taichi's Greymon tackled the corrupted Greymon on its snout with its own snout. However, it counter-attacked when T's Greymon was too slow to react; it whacked its tail against the side of T-Grey's torso! Yowch! That 'otto leave a mark, ladies and gentlemen.

Once again, folks, T-Grey was too slow to react when Corrupt-Grey charged towards it with its front horn, knocking it onto the electrical goal post Taichi and the other children were trapped in, not only causing it to be zapped by the electrical current, but also caused a small explosion that sent Taichi and the other Chosen Children bouncing back! Talk about an electrifying friendly fire! Fortunately, the explosion did not hurt the children as much as it hurt T-Grey which tumbled onto the ground on its belly. Looks like that was it, folks, that might be the end of Taichi's Greymon as the corrupted Greymon overshadowed T-Grey, preparing for its next attack.

But what's this, ladies and gents?! T-Grey got up once again and tackled the fake with its front horn; an attack the corrupted used earlier. Woo, looks like T-Grey was too sluggish as Corrupt-Grey grabbed onto T-Grey's head and sent it (T-Grey) towards its (C-Grey) behind, causing it to (T-Grey) crash onto the ground with a loud bang! And the corrupted one continued its relentless attack by continuously stomping on its back! What cruelty! What a merciless act! What a tragedy for T-Grey, ladies and gents.

However, its failure partner... erm, its human partner, Taichi, commanded T-Grey to evolve like he was commanding some pet! My, oh, my, what kind of partnership am I seeing here, folks?! That was no partnership! That was slavery!

"Yeah, you mind keeping your comments to yourself and just stick to narrating? That's what these people are here for? To learn about what happened? Not to learn about what a selfish prick I've been?"

Right, erm, sorry 'bout that, Taichi-san. So, as Taichi continued to pursued his Greymon to evolve even though it was under the stomping foot of the corrupted Greymon, a quick lash of its tail sent the fiend tumbling backwards. It was a chance for Greymon to get up and retaliate. When it finally got up and charged its attack, however...

"Mega Flame... burp!"

No giant fireball of death came through those jaws of stench, only an empty burp caused by over-consumption of food.

In the electrifying goal post, the group also noticed the decrease in speed of Greymon. Koushiro presumed that it might be caused by Taichi overfeeding his partner.

Back in the arena, the corrupted somehow got Greymon tumbled on the ground again, before it drug the helpless dino by its tail and spinning it like a rodeo, much to Taichi's displeasure. After a few spun, the corrupted threw Greymon towards a brick wall, demolishing it upon Greymon's crashing. Could this be the end of Greymon and the Chosen Children? Of course not, or there won't be a story.

In another part of the coliseum, Etemon radioed Gazimon, ordering it to prepare the fireworks it has prepared for its victory.

The fight between the two Greymon was not finished, yet, however, but not in a good way, as Corrupted performed a bulldog on Greymon, sending in crashing onto the ground with itself in a sitting position.

Having seen enough, Gomamon decided to help. It called out its "Marching Fishes," a group of fishes that follows Gomamon's every command. Just after Gomamon called out its partners, water started to flow out of the three "mouths" of the statue the Gazimon waving the fireworks was standing on. After flying out of the waterholes, the fishes headed right towards Gazimon, snatching the fireworks in his paws and the ones tucked on its white bandanna, causing it to fall right out of the statue. Using these as distractions, the Marching Fishes managed to get Corrupted stopping its attacks on Greymon and following the loud, exploding firecrackers in the mouths of the flying aquatic animals. Joe, however, wondered about the mysterious appearances of the water while Koushiro explained that a nearby water source must be the reason.

After successfully distracting Corrupted for a while, the fishes of variety colors threw the explosive, flaming sticks onto the spot where it was standing, causing it to hop about as if it was dancing.

After thanking the fishes, Sora asked about their next action. Koushiro theorized that since water came out beneath the statue, there could be soil and dirt underneath the coliseum. Testing out his theory, he touched along the tiles below them, and it turned out that they were removable. Discovering that, the children began to removed the squarish tiles as fast as they could.

After removing a significant amount of tiles, the children discovered a large rock with a symbol engraved on it was underneath the tiles. Abruptly, Joe noticed that his tag was reacting greatly, and as he held it towards the symbol, its reaction increased.

As Joe wondered about the symbol representing his crest, Corrupted was trying to strangle Greymon to its death.

Joe decided to experiment with the symbol while Greymon faced its death. He placed the tag on top of the symbol, hoping to see some sort of reaction from both the symbol and the tag. After a second, a blue flash of light glowed out of the rock, before the glow grew smaller and forming into a crest in the tag.

After the rock disappeared, however, the earth beneath the children crumpled, letting them into a trap-hole below, with Joe afterwards exclaiming the discovery of his crest.

A moment later, Tentomon noticed an opening on above them, on one side of the trap-hole, leading the children to their escape, with Etemon noticing when he realized they were no longer in the post but behind a wall in one side of the arena. There, the children watched Greymon being thrown towards another brick-wall, crashing onto it and demolishing another wall.

Taichi had enough, he decided he would make Greymon evolve no matter what. Attempting to get into the battle, Taichi was stopped by Sora, questioning his action. Taichi, however, was convinced that he could make Greymon evolve, running head on into the arena, hoping to get himself in moral danger, as that is one of the requirements of evolving into the next stage, for Adult Stage anyway.

Just as Corrupted fired its Mega Flame attack, Taichi yelled for it to stop. Fortunately, Corrupted's attack missed Greymon by inches, hitting the statue Gazimon once stood on instead.

Corrupted then turned its attention towards the reckless goggle-head, with Etemon ordering to destroy the foolish being.

Seeing that, Sora and Yamato asked their partners to make sure Taichi is alright. Sora's partner, Piyomon, a pink, feathery bird-like Digimon with a blue beak, began its transformation into Birdramon, a large, orange phoenix-like Digimon with the head of a dragon, with Gabumon evolving into the blue furred wolf Digimon, Garurumon. Both Digimon leaped into the arena, making sure Taichi would not be harm by Corrupted.

Staring into the eyes of his partner, Taichi cried out to it, hoping for it to evolve into its next form in order to be Corrupted. Greymon stood up, acknowledging the command.

In the next moment, however, Taichi's goldenrod crest turned into a dark one that made the tag look empty, while Greymon began to experience some changes in its body. It felt an immense amount of energy beginning to enter it. As it did, beams of orange energy started to enter Greymon's body while a dark mist of aura surrounded it, before the energy consumed its body. Greymon's shape began to change, as it grew larger and larger, its scales and flesh disappeared as if they were literally consumed away, leaving a large cage of the skeleton of an one-horned, green, beady-eyed dinosaur with a large, orange fish-missile on its back.

Taichi was a little surprise at the transformation, and so did the others, as Greymon had transformed into a monster in its every definition, as Tentomon called it, Skull Greymon.

With a powerless pelt of his bony hand, Skull Greymon sent Corrupted crashing towards the big-screen television, before shooting its large fish missile towards it, killing it and destroying the television, leaving a large hole in its place.

After the copycat was gone, Taichi ordered Skull Greymon to revert into Greymon. It disobeyed its command, attempting to stomp on him instead, with Taichi darting away in time.

Noticing Skull Greymon being out of control, Garurumon charged towards it, before attacking the living fossil. Nevertheless, with another effortless pelt of his hand, Skull Greymon sent Garurumon bouncing back onto the ground. When it was Birdramon's turn, Skull Greymon merely wagged its tail towards it, proving the dragon-bird unmatched for the fearsome abomination. Skull Greymon turned towards Taichi again, with him running away from his partner for his life. Tentomon evolved itself into Kabuterimon after that, but it was intimidated by Skull Greymon's sheer size.

The three Digimon surrounded the mindless walking skeleton, proving unmatched for the one Digimon.

Skull Greymon was not done with its destruction yet, it picked up the goal post Corrupted smashed through and threw it towards the children, with the children separating in two directions, avoiding the incoming wreckage.

Once again, the three Digimon tried to stop the rampaging Skull Greymon by unleashing each of their attacks.

Birdramon tucked its wings against its breast, before opening them, unleash a series of flaming spherical objects. "Meteor Wing!"

Garurumon has a similar attack to Greymon; an attack of blue flame from its mouth. "Wolf Fire!"

Kabuterimon held its six pointed claws against its body before charging up a large, purple electrical sphere towards the insane creature.

Even the three attacks proved far from matching Skull Greymon's resistance, as it stood firmly without a scratch, unharmed. With another pelt and a kick, Skull Greymon sent the Digimon crashing and flying away, before it rampaged its way out of the coliseum, stepping on wall along the way. It climbed above the seats and broke through part of the large walls surrounding the entire coliseum, making its way into the desert as it crashed through an arch.

After a while, however, it ran out of energy. Smoke started to surfaced out of Skull Greymon's body, before it shrunk into a ball-shaped creature known as Koromon.

The children caught up with the exhausted Digimon, but Taichi was the one who rushed towards it first. He grabbed the fainted Digimon in his hands, filled with guilt and sorrow, when Koromon woke up, remembering the destruction he had caused. Blaming itself for it, Yamato rushed down a slope to tell Koromon that it was not its fault, though he did not meant for Taichi to take the whole blame himself.

"What have I done...?"

Under the blazing hot sun, the Chosen Children continued their journey across the desert, with Taichi leading in front. The children following behind were discussing about the proper use of the crests, with Koushiro pointing out the possibility of the activation of the crests through owning every crest that was available.

When Taichi noticed the group slowing down a lot, he called out behind, asking them to pick up the pace in order to find shade quickly. However, Takeru asked Taichi to go on without them, they would catch up eventually. But before Taichi could do that, the two were abruptly pulled into the sand below them by something, something which after a second, surfaced itself to be revealed as a large, red, stag-beetle resembling Kuwagamon, except for its increase in size.

Holding onto the jaws of the large insect for a bit, Taichi was flung a moderate distance away where he could only watch as Agumon, after getting his body unstuck from the sand, faced off against Kuwagamon. However, that Kuwagamon seemed much stronger as Agumon's Baby Flame attack did not cause it to move an inch. Seeing that, Gabumon hurriedly asked Agumon to evolve to Greymon, which Agumon had doubts about after its last monstrous transformation.

As Agumon think about its next move, Kuwagamon approached the distracted lizard with its jaws of death, and just before it closed its jaws on Agumon's midget body, Taichi tackled Agumon down, causing Kuwagamon to miss its target. After that, it attempted to snap Taichi instead, but misses again.

Sora yelled out in fear, when a spherical bomb flew towards Kuwagamon and destroyed its data, leaving Taichi and Agumon partly buried under piles of sand.

When Taichi and Agumon lifted their heads to figure out what happened, a tiny, pink, furry critter with two large wings behind it walked in front of their eyes while holding a spear its hand and reciting, "Pee, pee, pee"...

The children ran towards the two and wondered if the newcomer could be a friend of Etemon. It, however, introduced itself as a friend of them and no friend of Etemon. Its name being Piccolomon, the 'very small monster'.

Mimi held the fuzzy little Digimon in her hand, thinking it is cute and adorable, before it started lecturing the children about how useless they were and how their gutless their Digimon were. It then told them that it was going to train all the Digimon into shape, especially Taichi and Agumon who were going to receive a special training in its hidden training ground. Piccolomon then ordered the children to follow it while the children discussed if they should trust the walking ping-pong ball, with Piccolomon again, ordering them to follow it, yelling this time.

The children decided to trust the little fairy-like Digimon. They marched through the burning desert with Piccolomon leading in front. After a while, Piccolomon stopped in the middle of the nowhere and claimed that they had reached its hideout. The children were confused at first, till Piccolomon flew up and spun its spear, before a portal to a lush, tropical jungle suddenly appeared. The children entered, and only after walking a while did they saw Etemon's trailer passing by. Piccolomon assured them that they could see the outside from the hideout but no one and nothing could see the hideout from the outside, working like a one-way mirror, without the reflection.

In the trailer, an angry Etemon ceased to find the location of the children on the map on the computer screen, causing it to throw a tantrum.

Meanwhile, the children reach a very long stack of stairs aligned around a mountain, which Piccolomon ordered to climb; without flying of any sort, not even hovering. It took the children till the sun went down before they reach the summit. Piccolomon then lead the children into a tower, where it showed its proud possession of a statue of itself surrounded by more than four levels of wooden walkways the children was standing on, which Piccolomon asked to clean with the buckets of water it magically created from nowhere with a few spun of his spear.

As for Taichi and Agumon, Piccolomon claimed that it has a special task for them, before it brought them to a cave in the vicinity, where Taichi and Agumon sink into the earth below as Piccolomon flew away.

Night time, everyone was exhausted from the chores the children were put to do, when Koushiro was awaken by a creaking noise. He got up to find Yamato sneaking out of their dorm. He followed the other spike-hair outside onto the walkway, where Yamato pointed out the long absence of Taichi and Agumon.

Suddenly, Yamato's tag started to glow, before the same thing happened to Koushiro's tag, signifying their crests being in the area. The two decided to head out to find their crests, with Yamato claiming that they would return in short while, meaning they would not have to wake up their tired partners.

In an empty area will with water, a boat sailed across it with two unconscious passengers on-board, or at least one unconscious passenger, with Agumon waking up to find itself and its partner stranded in the middle of nowhere.

After a few attempts, Agumon managed to wake its human friend, who had his gloved-hand dipped in the water from one side of the rowboat. With no idea where they were, Taichi stood up to get a better view of their surrounding, only to fall into the river. Agumon then tried to pull him in with a wooden paddler, till it was distracted by a light in the distance, causing it to be pulled into the water with Taichi, before playing a series of The Blaming Game with him.

The next morning, Yamato and Koushiro reached the jungle, still searching for their crests. When they reached the portal, they found their tags to be reacting rapidly, especially when they flashed them towards a wall just outside the portal; a well that was not there the previous day. They had no choice but to had outside of the barrier to retrieve their crests. Using a rope connecting to a rusty bucket, the two climbed down into the well, where they took out their tags and flashed it against the walls inside the well, causing two symbols of blue and purple to appear on it. The symbols flew right out of the wall and circled the two who were still hanging onto the rope, before the symbols turned into a flash of light and disappeared, leaving a crest in both tags. Unlike the symbol on Taichi's crest which was in the shape of a sun, or the crest craved on Mimi's crest, which she got earlier, in the shape of a teardrop, the symbol engraved on Yamato's crest and Koushiro's crest were in the shape of a circle with two sharp points on each end, and in the shape of a large circle, with smaller circles in it, connecting to another smaller circle to the right, respectively.

While the two were hanging out below, a cable with a probe at its end flew above the well and detected the two Chosen Children inside, immediately sending their location to Etemon, who was furious as they passed by that location the previous day. As Etemon commanded Gazimon to send the Tyrannomon near that area, the probe steadily slithered away, just righr before Koushiro and Yamato managed to poked their heads out of the well, only to find a red dinosaur with green diamond spikes running down its spines, standing just right behind the well.

Defenseless, the two Chosen Children could do nothing but run through the portal as fast as they could. Doing so, however, caused Tyrannomon to fire its Fire Breath attack, a huge blast of flame from its jaws, towards the invisible barrier, revealing the thick jungle inside.

In the tower, while continuing its lecture at the children, Piccolomon sensed its barrier had been destroyed. Overhearing that, the children made their way towards the jungle with the Digimon, hoping that they would reach Yamato and Koushiro in time, before they are turned into crispy human meat.

While the two children were running for their lives in the jungle, the probe earlier returned, continuing to feed Etemon's computer the location of the two. Having that knowledge, Etemon activated its cable network in that area, before it started to strum its guitar, sending waves of weakening energy towards the Digimon, while its trailer headed on right towards their location.

Meanwhile, the hot-headed duo had stopped their argument and had fell asleep. The rowboat spun round and round in three hundred sixty degrees as it traveled between concrete buildings of the sort, before Taichi was awaken by the noise of metal hitting against concrete. Getting offshore and onto a bridge, Taichi and Agumon realized it was the noise of a bicycle hitting the ground repeatedly. A young boy was trying to ride a bike with little success; a young, tanned boy with spiked-up ginger-brown hair. The young boy was Taichi.

While Taichi met his younger self, Piccolomon was holding out against Tyrannomon's attacks with a pink-colored shield generated by its spear. Its energy was rapidly exhausting, however.

"Come on, Taichi, Agumon! Where are you?! Your friends need you right now!"

"I'll never be able to do it," the young boy cried as it held onto a handle-bar of the vehicle. His comment was abruptly interrupted, however, by an older voice.

"No," said the voice, "you mustn't give up, no matter what the circumstances are. You might be afraid that the result of your action might lead to fatal error, but you must do the best you can in order for succession."

The source of the voice was revealed when Taichi gradually walked towards the younger child with Agumon by his side. "You must try."

And with that, Taichi and Agumon pushed the bicycle while the young Taichi rode on it. When they reached a distance, they let go of it. The momentum sent the bike cruising on its own, with the young one successfully pedaling the bike away, learning how to ride a simple bike.

"I understand now, it's about overcoming your fear and believing in yourself!" exclaimed the confident Taichi, readied to evolve Agumon into its next form once again. The two got back onto the boat, worked together as a team to paddle the boat in a rhythem, before hearing the screams of their friends from the light Agumon saw earlier.

"Alright, Agumon, let's do it!"

"Agumon changes... to Greymon!"

They arrived just in time, as Piccolomon's shield went out, Greymon appeared out of nowhere, tackling down Tyrannomon along the way, before destroying the probes Etemon sent out. Turning around, it ran towards Tyrannomon and did a slow DDT on it, destroying the cable network tied to Tyrannomon along the way, cutting Etemon's access to their location. After Tyrannomon's data shattered into pieces, everyone cheered as the mighty, fire-breathing dinosaur has returned, and it did not have the title of "tyranny" in its name, too.

Upon a sandy hilltop in the desert, the Chosen Children had discovered the network cable of Etemon. Deciding to use it to their own advantage, Koushiro hacked into the network using his laptop, when suddenly, the received an email from someone under the user-ID of "E-Man". When Koushiro opened it, the children found out it was a call for help.

Meanwhile, in another part of the desert, the computer of Etemon could not detect the location of the Chosen Children for a while, making an Etemon impatient. One of the Gazimon working on it claimed that a network error appeared in their host computer located in a pyramid. Etemon immediately realized who was messing with it (Etemon) and sent the trailer towards the pyramid at full speed.

Following the map in Etemon's network through the use of Koushiro's laptop, towards the location the email indicated, Tokomon discovered a symbol engraved on a wall, leading the children into a tunnel, after the wall turned into Takeru's crest.

Upon entering, the children discovered symbols on the wall similar to those of a factory and those of a ruin on File Island. From what he learned on the island, Koushiro understood that the writings were actually a computer program. He demonstrated that to the others by erasing one of the symbols, causing a hologram map to appear in front of the children. Koushiro explained his theory about their mysterious arrival on File Island. He deducted that their current form were made of data, while their real bodies might still be in the camping grounds, while they dwell in a place where data and computer program has taken physical form. As for the Digimon, Koushiro theorized that they might be literally what they are called; digitalized monsters.

Figuring all the explanations and theories would be too complicated, Koushiro began to run a computer program that formed the hologram of a globe, similar to Earth. He explained that the address of the sender of the email he received match an address he visited often while he was on Earth. However, after he typed in the address into the program of the map system showing the world they were currently in, a way-point appeared on the map, proving the email address to be more than just an email account. That showed that they were not just in another continent far away from home, but they were in the very network of Earth; the might information highway known as the Internet.

Koushiro then displayed a hologram of Earth, before combining it with the other globe representing the world they were in. The two globes matched exactly, forming into one globe. He called the world they were in "Earth's shadow."

After all that theorizing, the children were ready to rescue the sender of the email. Koushiro typed in the email attached to the email once again into the computer program, causing the wall that was once at the end of the tunnel to be gone, leading into the wide open desert which he claimed to be the location the sender resided in. Koushiro explained that the computer program somehow warped them from one point to another.

Walking out from the mouth of a sphinx statue, the children noticed Etemon's trailer being pulled by Monochromon in the distance. Taichi scoped it using his telescope to confirm it. The children decided to camp it out near the base they warped from till the next day, when they decide their next move.

The next day, Koushiro explained to Sora that even though their body structure were turned into data, they should act responsibly in case their actions in that 'digital world' would have any affect on their bodies back on Earth. While that was being explained, Taichi was ready to warp back towards the sender to rescue him, or it.

Using Etemon's network once again, Koushiro opened a map of the pyramid where Koushiro detected the sender was located. There is a hidden passageway inside that he claimed to be not visible, normally. With that said, Taichi, Koushiro, Joe and Sora, with their Digimon partners, headed out towards the pyramid in search of the mysterious sender while the others hung back in the sphinx.

Avoiding detection of the Gazimon on sentry duty, the eight entered the hidden passageway located on the side of the inverted pyramid-like structure with the pointed end buried beneath the sand.

Just then, Etemon appeared on the other side of the pyramid, noted by Taichi who immediately hid himself away from the orange puppet ape, causing Etemon to hear his pacing footsteps. When Etemon walked towards the side Taichi was facing, however, he saw nothing.

When Etemon walked away, a gloved hand reached out through the side of the pyramid, teasing the confused Etemon. When Etemon was gone, Taichi stepped through the pyramid, with Sora lecturing him not to act stupid.

As they passed through the passage, a section of the wall seemed almost invisible, with a bit of lighting over it. Koushiro explained that they could see the outside from the section, but the others could not see them from the outside; acting as a one-way mirror similar to the barrier in Piccolomon's hideout.

Suddenly, two patrolling Gazimon could be seen passing right outside from the section of the wall, ignorant of the children's surveillance. Taichi, being the childish, obnoxious boy he is, kicked one of the Gazimon as it passed by, before hurriedly sneaking back into the hidden passage, causing the Gazimon to think that its partner kicked it on the butt.

As they moved on, Sora raised her voice, lecturing Taichi's childish act once again, with Taichi claiming Sora worrying over nothing.

After a while, the children reached a gate filled with electrifying charges across it. Koushiro explained that there is an area of the gate where they could pass through safely without being jolted by the deadly bolts of electricity running through the gate. Taichi, convinced that they were just made of data and nothing else, passed through the area Koushiro pointed without thinking, before rushing the others to do so, too.

The children finally arrived at their destination; a shiny lab with a robot standing at one corner of it, its head covered in a glass cylinder while its wavy long arms swung as it turned its midget body around. Tentomon recognized the robot as Nanomon, who Koushiro claimed to be sending data through the IR port of his laptop after seeing Nanomon appearing on the screen, communicating with him.

The robot explained that it is an enemy of Etemon and that it was severely damaged by Etemon back then, losing its memory of the acts Etemon did to it. Etemon then used it to power its dark network, trapping Nanomon in a glass pyramid, an upright one sealed on a platform. But as time passed by, it started to repair itself, regaining its memory through the repair of its memory chip. It then remembered how Etemon damaged it, and that was why it wanted, needed the children's help to free it, so that it could have its revenge against Etemon.

Following the instructions Nanomon sent into his laptop, Koushiro lifted a cover next to the entrance they came from, revealing a safe inside. He asked Taichi to head to a lever to the right of the entrance. Koushiro carefully turned the knob on the safe in the right order Nanomon instructed him. He pushed the red button to the left of the knob, before asking Taichi to pull up the lever. However, just before he could do so, Etemon appeared! Immediately, it charged towards Taichi, attempting to prevent him from releasing Nanomon from its prism. Agumon was not going to let that happen, it will not let Taichi get hurt.

"Agumon changes... to Greymon!"

"Tentomon changes... to Kabuterimon!"

"Piyomon changes... to Birdramon!"

"Gomamon changes... to Ikkakumon!"

The Digimon threw their attacks at the shades-wearing ape, with it thwarting and blocking the attacks with its bare hands. While it was distracted, Taichi pulled the lever, releasing Nanomon which levitated the glass shards of the prism, sending them flying towards Etemon... and Birdramon. Etemon smashed away the glass shard flying towards it, but Birdramon was unaware to do so. Taichi yelled at Nanomon, questioning its actions, before Etemon explained that it is the way Nanomon works; backstabbing and deceiving.

Nanomon then fired its "Plug Bomb" attack; sending red-orange, flying, explosive projectiles from its fingers towards Etemon, with Etemon firing its "Dark Spirits€" attack; generating a dark-green spherical energy towards the flying darts, causing the two attacks to hit against each other, generating a big explosive that blasted the roof, causing the explosion to surface up top the desert, letting Yamato and the others stationed at the sphinx to be acknowledged of the fight, getting them to head towards it to assist.

After Etemon battled the partner Digimon for another couple of moments, Nanomon kidnapped an unconscious Piyomon, which exhausted its energy, and Sora, who ran over towards Piyomon after it devolved and crashed on the ground. Doing so while Etemon was still distracted by the partner Digimon, Taichi, Joe and Koushiro pursued Nanomon into the passageway before arriving at another electrified gateway. Attempting to recklessly enter through it once again, without Koushiro's direction that time claiming that he could start all over again if he went through the wrong section due to his structure being made of data. Joe immediately grabbed him before he could do so under Koushiro's command, as Koushiro explained that if he really dies in the digitalized world they were in, they would die for real...

Taichi, realizing what he almost did, stood frozen solid. "What...? I almost killed myself back there... what was I thinking...?"

As Taichi get back to his senses, Greymon, Kabuterimon and Ikkakumon crashed out behind the trio in their Child Stage, proving unable to distract Etemon any longer.

Just when Etemon stepped out of the laboratory, readied to attack the children, Garurumon and Togemon, Palmon's evolved form, blasted down from the roof of the passageway, before unleashing their attacks towards Etemon; the boxing-gloves wearing, green cactus attacking with Chiku-Chiku Bang Bang, an attack which unleashes the thorns on its stem at its opponent, before Garurumon fired its Fox Fire (not Wolf Fire, my bad), creating a fire-wall that blocked Etemon's path, giving Taichi and the others some time to escape.

After the gang got away from the funky monkey, Yamato learned about Sora and Piyomon's kidnap, with Taichi squatting on the ground, crying with guilt as he did not have the courage to pass through the gate.

Everyone in the group wanted to save Sora and Piyomon. However, the group were worried that they might not save her in time. But Yamato pointed out that Nanomon's goal was to get its revenge on Etemon. Hence, it would keep Sora and her feathery partner captive until it does.

After the Digimon, and Takeru, had satisfied their hungers and had fallen asleep by the opening into a passageway, Taichi blamed himself for not going through the gate, ruining their chance of saving Sora. Nevertheless, Joe and Yamato did not think it was his fault; they could not had done anything even if he had stepped through.

After the short debate, Koushiro stepped out of the opening and told the group he had gotten it all figured it out. After the children, without the sleeping Digimon, followed Koushiro into the tunnel, the orange-shirt nerd explained that Nanomon only made them think that it went a far distance from them, which in reality, it was just a short distance away from the location they escaped from. He then showed a hidden room buried deep under the pyramid on the holographic map of the pyramid.

Understanding their plan, Taichi told the others that he would save Sora no matter how great the danger is this time, with the others assuring him that they felt the same way as he did.

Regaining her consciousness, Sora was rather shocked when she saw an unconscious Piyomon cuffed against a wall, with herself being cuffed down on an examining table. A Nanomon standing on a computer panel asked her not to worry as it needed Piyomon to defeat Etemon. Sora snuffed at Nanomon, understanding the fact that Piyomon could not evolve without her. However, Nanomon was not going to use her...

To the right of Sora's examining table is another table with an orange, translucent, neon bar-like structure, fixed at one end of the table. The same structure was above Sora's head, too. Both structures then started to move, with the one located on Sora's table moving down her body, acting as a scanner. Under the other scanner on the other table, a pair of orange, neon feet appeared.

"It's copying you," explained Nanomon.

It further explained that none of the children had activated their crests, yet, which was why it decided to 'pull out' that power from them and use it against Etemon using her crest, which was revealed after it pushed a button on the panel it was standing on, causing a another robotic arm to appear from the panel while a pink-colored crest, with the shape of a heart was engraved on it, was held in the hand above the arm.

As Sora lectures the robotic traitor, the scanner continued to move, with the processor at the other end generating the thighs after it had done so for the feet connecting to them. Nanomon pushed another button on the panel, revealing another robotic arm which had Sora's tag in the hand. It grabbed the crest and slided it into the tag, before explaining its recollection of the past battle with Etemon after its memory resumed. It claimed that it would defeat Etemon, with any means possible.

Outside the pyramid, the security defenses had risen. Bunch of Monochromon and Tyrannomon stood guard outside the inverted Pyramid, while Tentomon hovered high above.

Inside a passageway, Koushiro's hologram map detected the guarding Digimon, with red spots representing them. Joe briefed the others about them being distractions with their Digimon while Taichi and Koushiro with their Digimon, raid the pyramid.

After the strict debriefing by Joe, Taichi asked Koushiro to direct him in the right direction once they enter the pyramid. However, Koushiro explained that the hidden room requires them to go through the hidden passageway, which also requires them to go through the electrified gate Taichi was afraid to go through before.

"I'll save Sora this time."

After another short debrief, the group jumped out of the sphinx statue they warped to. The distractions stationed at their positions while Mimi covered her Digimon, Takeru and Taichi and their Digimon with a light-brown cloth acting as camouflage.

The plan was set, the distractions were in place, Gomamon evolved into Ikkakumon before firing its "Harpoon Vulcan" attacked towards the sky, causing an explosion that awoke a bunch of sleeping Gazimon. After that, one Gazimon turned on the screen in front of it just in time to see an incoming missile flying towards the camera set on one of the four walls of the pyramid. The alarm went off and the security was distracted.

Hiding behind a sand dune, Joe noted the others when he saw the group of Gazimon coming out of the main entrance of the pyramid, ordering the guarding Digimon to attack. Soon after that, the army of Monochromon and Tyrannomon charged their way towards the still firing Ikkukumon and a retreating Joe.

Hiding behind a boulder, Yamato, while riding on Garurumon, gave the order for their next distraction. Firing a stream of fire towards the group of Gazimon, Yamato managed to get them to follow the two. Inside the pyramid, Etemon ordered the Gazimon to inform it if they ever detect Nanomon's location, while it went outside towards it trailer, hopped on it and rode it towards the distracting party.

At the other part of the desert, Taichi, Koushiro, and their Digimon partners, hiding under the camouflage, got out of the cloth after Etemon's trailer was in a safe distance, with Taichi hoping the distractions to get away safely. Leaving Takeru, Mimi, and their Digimon under the camouflage, Taichi, Koushiro, and their Digimon ran towards the pyramid to start their rescue, with Mimi wishing them good luck.

After entering through the secret entering, the group ran as fast as they could with Koushiro warning them that some of the passageway might be blocked due to their previous battle inside. He was right. After running for a while, the group reached a dead-end where a pile of rocks blocked the way of the foursome. Koushiro explained that they had to leave the passageway temporarily, through another hidden entering.

The four stepped out of it, seeing no guards being in the vicinity. However, a camera captured their appearances, with the Gazimon watching the monitors wondering if it was its imagination.

Meanwhile, while Joe and Yamato continued their distractions, Mimi started to worry about Joe. She left with her Digimon, asking Takeru to stay behind under the camouflage with Tokomon, before Palmon evolved to Togemon chased after Etemon's trailer that passed by a minute earlier, with Mimi riding in her boxing glove.

As the dinosaurs chased after Joe and his quadrupedal horned seal, Etemon suddenly attacked its minions with spheres of green energy, claiming that they were in its way; it wanted to destroy the Chosen Children personally.

In the laboratory, Nanomon had almost completed its processing of the cloned Sora, when the Gazimon once again seeing Taichi and the gang passing by on one of the monitors, finally catching sight of them and realizing it was not its vivid imagination.

Out in the desert, Etemon finally caught up with Ikkakumon when it released a its attack in front of it as it was charging. Unable to stop in time, it was slightly wounded from the attack, but it was strong enough to change its direction. However, Etemon was too fast for it. It stood in its way just as it turned. Fortunately. Yamato on his Garurumon arrived in time with its Fox Fire attack, even though Etemon darted its attack with mere inches.

Togemon arrived with Mimi after that with its spiky projectiles, only to have Etemon punching the thorns away with its fists.

After questioning the other children's location, Etemon grabbed the tail of Garurumon when it pounced towards it, shaking it like a piece of tattered cloth, before throwing it beside Yamato.

Ikkakumon tried slamming on it with its massive body, only to have Etemon bouncing it with its fist like a beach ball, before throwing the exhausted Ikkakumon alongside Garurumon.

Togemon tried shooting it with its projectiles again, only to have Etemon grabbing them with its fingers and toes, before sending them flying back onto Togemon's body, knocking it down.

After all the weight-lifting and the boomeranging, Etemon grabbed its microphone out and sang its "Love Serenade" attack, causing the Digimon to devolved into their Child stage due to leeching of energy from the song.

Just when Etemon was about to fire its final attack, a booming voice suddenly appeared from the pyramid. It was Gazimon reporting the children being inside the pyramid. Etemon figured out that the other children were probably going to rescue Sora and Piyomon, which meant that Nanomon was inside the pyramid. When it turned around, away from the voice, however, the wounded Digimon and their partners had disappeared.

After the trailer of Etemon went away, Yamato thanked Takeru for his quick arrival with the camouflage, while Takeru claimed that Tokomon helped, too.

Inside the almost destroyed pyramid, Taichi and the three looked outside from a translucent opening, where the running Gazimon were unable to see them due to the one-way-mirror technology.

Just when Taichi Koushiro, with their Digimon, were about to make their way towards Nanomon, Etemon crashed from the roof, sending the four running out from the hidden passage.

Koushiro then asked Taichi and Agumon to go on ahead while Tentomon, after evolving into Kabuterimon, would distract Etemon for a while, buying them as much time as they could. Taichi thanked him before running down a stack of stairs, right onto the electrified gate.

Seeing Taichi having some doubts, Agumon proposed to go through the gate first, with Taichi denying it to do that.

"There's something very precious to me on the other side of this wall."

"Sora?"

"Yeah. That's not all, I feel like there's something else very precious over there that I'd lost yesterday."

"Taichi..." mumbled Agumon, admiring its partner's courage. "YOU CAN DO IT, TAICHI!"

He reached out his glove, slowly, gradually, while Agumon continued to cheer and encourage him.

"Bring out your courage!"

He put out his glove immediately, with only death in his mind. However, the hand went through safely, with Agumon cheering behind, and apparently, Kabuterimon, too, who crashed down the stairs with Etemon pinning it.

Agumon then evolved itself into Greymon, asking Taichi to go on ahead. After he did, he saw Sora standing uninjured and well beside Nanomon. But just when Taichi was about to approach her, Piyomon, then conscious, told Taichi about Sora's clone, before Taichi noticed the real Sora, still strapped under metal cuffs on a table.

"I've just finished creating the copy," explained Nanomon while a robotic arm approached it with the Digivice and the tag, with Sora's crest in it. "Now if I give it the holy device and crest, it will become the real one!"

Taichi was not going to let that happen. He ran towards the robot arm and snatched the device and the tag away from it, claiming that the objects belong to Sora.

Nanomon, not wanting Taichi to mess up its plan, made a hole appeared under Sora, with the examination table disappearing into thin air. That caused Sora to drop into the hole, just before Taichi got her pink-gloved hand in time.

Inside the hole, Taichi saw a bunch of wires and cables inside it. Nanomon explained that it is the power that made up Etemon's network, and everything that is falls onto it will be absorbed by darkness, leaving not a trace behind. It then tried to pull Taichi's arm away from Sora's hand, demanding the Digivice and the tag in exchange that it would not kill Sora.

"Quit talking nonsense! I came here to rescue Sora!" exclaimed Taichi before dropping the evolution mechanism into Sora's other glove.

"Taichi!"

"Piyomon, evolve! Birdramon!"

Flying above the hole, Birdramon grabbed onto the two children using its claws.

Outside, Etemon was still battling Greymon and Kabuterimon.

"Come on! Attack me from any angle!" smirked the arrogant fool, who did not react fast enough to avoid Birdramon from crashing behind it, sending jolts of electricity through its body as it was standing in front of the electrified wall...

With Etemon distracted, the children got out of the pyramid and reunited with the others, but that, my friends, is not the end of our story, as a perfect evolution is coming up...

After the children got out of the pyramid and reunited with the others, Etemon confronted Nanomon inside the laboratory. However, it kept silent as it kept its face towards the panel. After a moment, the hole it created previous started to grew larger and expanded throughout the room, before Nanomon falls inside, pulling a struggling Etemon in. Etemon held onto the computer panel, unwilling to die alongside its enemy, especially in that way. However, Nanomon then fired its Plug Bomb attack into the network, claiming that the explosives it fired were special ones which contains a computer virus that would amass the evil powers inside the network, turning it into a concentrated ball as it enlarges.

With that said, the bombs shot inside the network started to cause a chain reaction. The network began to suck in Nanomon and Etemon, working like a black hole.

Outside the pyramid, the army of Tyrannomon and Monochromon were sucked in towards the pyramid, with the children wondering what happened. One by one, the minions turned into nothing as they fall into the expanding network. Etemon could not hold on much longer, especially with Nanomon tugging its leg. It fell into the dark network, with Nanomon destroyed while its lower torso was stuck inside the cables and wires, while its upper body struggled to get out.

After they walked a safe distance away, the Chosen Children gazed upon the crumbling pyramid, as the army of dinosaurs were sucked in. Suddenly, a bright, dark-green beams of light shone from the inverted, and almost tumbling pyramid, before it finally tumbled to the ground, before a ball of wires and cables with Etemon's upper torso on it rise up from the rubble.

When the pumping ball of tubes rise up to the sky, Birdramon and Kabuterimon unleashed their attacks towards it, with the network devapourising their attacks. Etemon then fired its attack towards the two winged Digimon, missing them by inches. The spherical energy suddenly opened a warp hole behind the flying insect and the bird-dragon, and when Etemon fired its attack towards the sphinx statue, a warp hole opened from it as well, after devapourising the it.

The children worried, as they had no way to beat him.

"No," pointed Taichi after seeing its tag glowing with an orange light beneath his shirt, "we still have one way left."

Taichi then asked Greymon to follow him, as he rushed towards Etemon while holding his tag in his hand.

"I won't run away! I never will!"

Etemon mocked his foolishness, before firing another Dark Spirits attack at Greymon, tackling it down.

"Don't ever give up, Greymon!" yelled Taichi, before holding his Digivice, shining with the same orange glow, too, against his tag.

"Taichi, your courage..." Greymon said as it stood up, "I can feel its power surging through my body!"

Right after that, the Digivice unleashed a power which surged through Taichi's tag, combining its power with the crest, before sending an energy into Greymon.

"Greymon, super-evolve!" exclaimed Greymon, while pieces of metal grew on its arm, before appearing on its skull, "Metal Greymon!"

Finally, a set of purple wings appeared on the back of Greymon. And with a roar, the transformation is complete, Greymon's true evolution.

"Metal Greymon! A Perfect Level Digimon whose modified body is used as both a weapon and armor for battle. The destructive strength of his special attack, Giga Destroyer, is extremely powerful!"

Etemon was unimpressed. He fired another attack towards Metal Greymon, assuming that it would fall. However, with a swipe of his claw (yeah, kinda figured out that Digimon does have genders), Metal Greymon intimidated his enemy, before walking towards it gradually and tackling the ball of cables with his armored horn.

With Etemon sending more threats, Metal Greymon started to glow with holiness, before the armor chest-plate on his chest went open, unleashing two fish-shaped projectiles towards the dark network as it continued to consume its surroundings.

"Giga Destroyer!"

The attack hit the ball with a massive explosion, causing the ball to devapourise itself, with Etemon claiming that as a big star, it should not die there.

After the network was destroyed, another worm-hole opened, sucking Taichi right into it, till Metal Greymon stop him with its armrored claw, only to be suck inside along with him.

After the two were sent through the portal, it disappeared, along with the other portals that had opened. The children yelled out Taichi's name, but no one replied.

In another part of the universe, possibly another universe, Taichi and Koromon stood on a street, filled with buildings and cars, and people.

"This is..."

Yep, the story has come to an ending. What happened to Taichi, you ask? Well, I will just summarize the rest of the events as the people who are interested in Digimon has already learn of the story while the other uninterested people has no need to learn so much details of it.

So, let's do some recap for the sake of the uninterested:

Yagami Taichi, tanned eight year old boy in pajamas with spiked-up hair first met a Digimon through the Internet after an egg mysteriously appeared from his father's computer screen. Along with his sister, Hikari, Taichi learned witnessed the first Digimon battle ever to occur on Earth, along with the other six young, awoke audiences
Four years later, the seven witnesses, excluding Hikari who was sick, went on their summer camp and got washed into the Digital World, where they met their Digimon partners. After learning their Digimon could evolve into other forms, the seven children explored the island, finding their way home.
But they couldn't find their way home. Instead, they encountered other digitalized monsters which attacked them, whether intensionally or otherwise. The seven children then evolve their Digimon into more advanced forms through the use of a sacred device they received in the camping grounds, which liberated the inhabitants of the Digital World of the evil that plagued File Island.
Receiving a call for help from an old man named Gennai, the Chosen Children traveled to the continent of Server and attempted to defeat the new evil there. They received tags and crests each and evolved their Digimon into further forms, before they discovered their way home through a portal.
That was after they discovered a new evil threatening the Digital World, and possibly their world, Gennai reappeared to tell the children about the eighth Chosen Child. He told them that the new evil, Vamdemon, went on to their world, the Real World, in search for the eighth child, and that they must find them before Vamdemon does.
The children managed to do so, before defeating Vamdemon twice, and returning to the Digital World with the eighth child, Hikari, as they had unfinished business in the Digital World.
Upon returning, they learned that after they left, the world was in a mass as another new evil who called themselves The Dark Masters, had taken over the land, and sea. However, the Chosen Children managed to defeat them, before they were sucked into a dark area where the mastermind of all the evils, Apocalymon, confronted them and destroying their data.
Upon being destroyed, the children realized that they had gone through life-changing lessons that changed their personalities and moral. Through their crests, the children regenerated, before destroying Apocalymon and saved the day, forever, till Digimon Adventure 02 anyway, but that's another story. The children learned that they had to bid their goodbyes to their partner Digimon as the portal to Earth was closing. They unwillingly do so and waited for their next encounter.

So, there's your recap, folks. I hope you know more about thev adventure my character has gone through now, maybe not entirely but, the details does not matter. If you still have questions you think are best answered, send me a PM and I'll post the questions here, with my answers, of course.
