these sort of remind me of those illustrations I use to see in mad magazine or something by jack kirby. Seriously I love the use of inks in some of your work. Very nicely done. The style feels sorta retro, but hey it works for me.

Just wanted to throw my voice in with the rest of the choir. That's some fantastic detail in your line work. That Wolverine in particular has a great Kubert vibe to it. Really nice stuff.

fantastic art & storytelling!
panel 2 on page 2 is just wonderful!
the lettering could be better, but I guess this is just a rough layout.
can't wait to see the final version.

nope, final version!!!...I think that too many people thrive on PS and don't depend on fundamentals in comic art anymore hence the paste up text..I wanted to give the 50's feel as much as possible so I chose to paste up the typed text. Thanks for the great comments and I will think about just slapping the text in on my follow up strip.

i'm already a fan of your work, hanks.
i know it's a question of personal taste but i really dig that "loose", sketchy style of yours. so much more expression than this boring über-clean pin-up crap wich people seem to prefer the last couple of years.
one minor critique when looking at that tarzan picture (provided that it is tarzan): the rendering on our main hero (especially his legs) is very similar to the rendering you used on the hairy guy in the foreground wich makes tarzan look... well... hairy. maybe it's just that small part on tarzans leg (right under his fist) where the outline of the leg is broken, i don't know.
p.s. or maybe this isn't tarzan after all but another guy who's supposed to have hairy legs. in that case: ignore my smartassism. :D

I agree..and thanks.
Sometime's you can't win when it comes to inking any given peice and sometimes chance just happens that things do not turn out to be liked by all...I appreciate your comments.
