Iced Earth - Something Wicked Trilogy

What the hell is the story here? I was watching the video for "Ten Thousand Strong" on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcyEK-3xV4o) and it didn't make a whole lot of sense. They were in ancient Egypt, then all of a sudden aliens show up and stuff. I was like, WTF? Is there a coherent storyline here or is it just some really loose stuff kind of just thrown together?

I think you should have posted this on the All-Purpose Metal Thread. Anyway, isn't the whole thing a concept album?

Yeah, but what's it about? When the Trans-Siberian Orchestra does a concept album, they tell you the story along with the lyrics. Or, Operation: mindcrime. That's straight forward. But the "Something Wicked" story doesn't seem very concise to me. Maybe I just need to examine the lyrics more closely.

Look it up on wikipedia, makes a lot more sense(thought the video was a bit corny meself, album's still fantastic).
