Remember at the end of SM3 when Peter throws a pumpkin bomb at the alien suit. You think that was the last remains of the symbiote...but it's not!! Doctor Conners was still experimenting with the small portion Peter lent to him to see if it's dangerous.

Here is my theory (it's a little stupid)
In SM4 Dr Conners still has the dark suite in a test tube and he start studying with the lizards, well we know how that ends up, Dr Conners drinks the "remedy" hoping to grow his arm back. But when drinks it, he goes in a rage from the sight effects then he knocks down everything he sees and that's where the symbiote comes in. The symbiote joins the lizard and that creates the SUPER LIZARD!!!

:( See, kinda stupid. That's why I want to know what you guys think.

:( See, kinda stupid. That's why I want to know what you guys think.As far as your theory goes, I'd be happy with The Lizard alone. Symbiote-Lizard might make for a cool geekout moment, but the effect usually runs out pretty quickly. Also, I don't think your theory's stupid, it's just geeky (and I don't mean that as a an insult :) ).

I'd imagine the symbiote could lead to the Lizard... like Connors recognizes that it's alive and can bond with humans so with a little work (lizard DNA) he could regrow an arm for himself and that's when it all goes wrong.

Not Symbiote-Lizard, just an easier way of getting to The Lizard.
