Thank you very much. I have been looking for new Nova stuff. I have search and rescue training next week, so I may not be able to pick up Nova on Thursday. So anything I find in advance helps.
Okay, wow, I just read the preview pages. This guy draws a good Richard Rider. And for the scar fans, it's there.

I love the Annihilation "deleted scene." I would love to continue to get deleted scenes from Annihilation (i.e. more detail on the destruction of Nova Corp) and other wars Rich has been in which we have not completely seen.

Well one day they may well appear in Nova proper as there a lot of flashback stories that could feature in Nova under DNA's wing such as Nova's first meeting with Gamora; the battle at Tartus Major where Peter joined the United Front, how Drax trained Nova and made him into the leader of the United Front, etc...lots of lost scenes cound be collected into a sort of Annihilation: The Untold Tales.
BUT for the meantime myself and one other Nova fan at Nova-Prime are writing our own series of flashback stories for our Nova Fan-Fiction project. Specifically; our version of the Fall of Xandar taking Annihilation Prologue as inspiration and adding a lot of extra bits to it (and yes there's gonna be a good amount of battles with Novas all over the place). The second is Rich's road to becoming leader of the United Front. Both tales will fit between my own on-going stories set after Nova 3; but to make things a bit different we're setting everything in an alternative universe called Earth 615; very much like the 616 but with a few slight differences here an' there. They've posted pages here at CBR: http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=12358
Spoilers:
Abyss? As in Count Abyss? Do you suppose? Hmmm...
In just the last week we've seen the return of Adam Warlock, next week Captain Mar-Vell returns... I love the way Roseman and the current writers of Marvel Cosmic ('specially DnA) are bringing back threads and characters from earlier stories!

That was my first thought when I read that, too. Guess we'll see.

I never had a problem with the scar missing. Rich has healed from everything, why would a scar stick around? Besides, sometimes it is very hard to draw a scar in a manner in which it does not look fake, contrived, etc. If I drew a scar for a comic, it would be one single line or a line of tiny dots de-marking its location. Otherwise it looks like a worm on the face.
I'm hoping the scar, as drawn in the flashback, does not exist in the present.

Apart from the artistic merit; you have to ask why Rich, from a
character perspective (or writer's perspective)retained the scar in the
first place. Go back to Dadelus 5; there Rich ensured safe return of a
selects number of Kree troops in retreat from advancing wave forces. To
ensure the majority were saved he made the hard choice to bombard the
position, killing many kree in the process as wellas losing a right
leg. Point is he had his leg regrown via Kree surgery and yet the scar
remained on his face afterwards. Why did he not simply have a facial
regen to remove it? He could have undergone the procedure beforehand,
or after the war had ended, such as when he recovered after killing
Annihilus. And yet he did not. So you have to ask why keep it? Simple
answer; its a moral psychological choice. Perhaps Rich keeps as a
constant reminder of the fall of Xandar; the destruction of the Nova Corps, his guilt? of not saving Quasar perhaps??

Only thing I do not like is the fact that Nova will not take part in the main Conquest story... aside from that I'm sure this next arc will be great.

You know, DnA have been saying that for a few months now, how this is a surprise to anyone who visits these boards regularly is beyond me.
