Me and my brother used to have a lot of comics and I had no idea where they came from,but I would read them from time to time. One comic(or i think it was more than one comic actually) was really cool and was stolen and we cant remember much about it other than it being bad ass.


All I can remember was it involved a lot of marvel heroes and a lot of them dying.
Like it was a war.
The three biggest things I remember in it were spiderman(or a clone or someone) doing recon or something and being caught because he starts freaking out and he keeps yelling mary jane over and over while they rip his heart out.
Im pretty sure this isnt earth 616 stuff going on.

There is a huge battle going on and cyclops get hit it makes his eye beams rip through a lot of allies like jubilee and beast.

The last thing I remember is the only survivors being wolverine, capt america, and I think gambit.
They are walking in a sewer or something. I dont know if it continued after that but that was the end in that comic.

We have asked around and no one seems to have heard of this comic.
I went to wiki and cant find anything there and have googled it countless and found nothing.

I would think an image such as spiderman having his heart riped out would be internet worthy.

So has anyone heard of this? and can you tell me what it is?

Haven't read it, but sounds like Infinity Gauntlet, or something like that.

It's definitely not Infinity Gauntlet. I have no idea what it is, but my instinct says Ruins.

Sounds like it could be one of the awesomest X-Men story arcs ever- #190 (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/db/issues/showquestion.asp?fldAuto=496) and 191 (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/db/issues/showquestion.asp?fldAuto=497), where Kulan Gath is resurrected, turns Manhattan into a medieval kingdom and enslaves many of the superhero community.

He captures Spider-Man and tortures him (eventually killing him). Cap and several of the other Avengers lead a rebellion that is largely doomed. All sorts of people die, and the day is only saved by a spell cast by Doc Strange utilizing Magik's time-hopping Limbo portal ability to reset time. One of a few actual time changing events in the Marvel Universe (although in some recaps later on, it was described differently- as them traveling to another parallel timeline or something).

What you are remembering is indeed UX-Men #190 and 191. It's the only time in Marvel history Peter gets his heart ripped out along side the X-Men and Avengers.

Dude, I have been reading Marvel comics many a years and if that is not the storyline you are referring to I have to say I don't know. Sorry.
