Welcome man. You have a pretty great style going on here. I really liked the Invicible sketches, and the Batman was pretty cool too.

Thank you! I appreciate it! Since you thought the Batman was cool, here is another...needs some work on the hands and shading, but its a start...

Thanks for the comments! I do love comics...you are correct. I'm working on the more dynamic stuff now...hopefully in the months to come, you will see more and more.

Also, here is a flash work in progress. I'm working on him for a series of sketches to pay a small tribute to Mike Wieringo in the next couple of weeks at my deviant page:

I'm starting to view batman a little different--i've seen (and drawn him) with muscles rippling, six pack abs, rib cage popping through, veins popping in the arms but frankly if i was the batman, i would try to layer up with armor/kevlar--something that was more than a thin layer of cloth. So, i didnt add a lot of definition with that in mind.
Next go around, i'm going to give a shot at a year one type costume--we'll see how that goes.

I've got a Hellboy theme going around my deviant art page for the next couple of weeks...we'll see what happens!

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee251/wheels9696/Firestorm1.jpg
Firestorm from DC comics...not very familiar with the character's background but think his costume and powers are pretty darn neat.
I started getting interested when artist Jamal Igle took over the art chores on the book.
I apologize for the scan. I use an all in one printer/scanner/copier that is totally on the fritz--the color levels are screwed up as well as it cut off his other foot. Why are nice 11x17 scanners so expensive?

Roger from BPRD and the Hellboy Universe. Over at my page at Deviant Art, i'm spotlighting some of my favorite characters from the HB universe.

Oh yes. It's gonna be a long time before I see fishnets the same way.
Which might be a saving grace for the future Mrs. X110...
