He shook out of his trance. "Oh, sorry about that" he said as in a bashful voice. "I forgot to introduce myself" he said as he walked towards Tamiko. "The names Jason" he said with an outreached hand. "What's yours?"

He then shot his eyes straight at him.

"And you'll never rise above your station as a tool."

His smirk growing, he said "If you're not careful, I may just start "loving" you."

"The ultimate goal of the venture is, of course, neutralising KRIEG and protecting Khanda. However, given the infiltration role I am playing, there really wasn't much relevance in getting only you involved in this. I could simply have told you that Rhia might be in danger from a group of individuals called ZAHLEN."

He nodded,

"The reason for your presence was two-fold. Firstly, nobody in Arcadia knows about my infiltration role except you. If something goes horribly wrong and Arcadia comes after me thinking I'm a traitor, I'll trust your judgement on whether you should reveal the truth to them."

Looking at the grass beside her, he continued

"which leads to the second reason. You are worthy of my unconditional trust, and you are very close to me emotionally. Such a combination has never happened to me, and the result is more than the sum of its' parts. I've never experienced this before...thank you."

That sense of uneasiness he thought radiated from that mountainous puppet came from somewhere else entirely, oozing thick, familiar and smug.

"I said this before, but that's a real nasty habit you got there."

He sidestepped lightly, positioning himself as he contemplated his situation gregariously. He was starting to dislike the odds more and more. The hotel was about half a mile away, a little under a minute in a good sprint. If it came to that, he was already armed and ready, though he hardly looked it.

"What say you, Bernadotte? Surely you're not being led around on a leash as well?"

Janos picked his words carefully. Wasn't his strong suit, but frankly the odds were against him if they figured out what he had in mind. A magician and a man of speed. There were very few maneuvers he knew to escape one of them, much less both at once. And yet Jose made his bile rise.

"That's kind of shallow, don't you think. Taking everything only at face value. An invitation to a fight, sponsored by who knows. What sucked you in there, Froot Loops, was it the loops in the l's and the wax they stamped it with to meet your standards of...mascara or whatever crap?"

Valeria got tired of waiting. She never waited on a man before and she'd be damned if she started now.She went up to Daichi's room went in and threw off her dress. Only the leather tod and thong covering her body she grabbed her armous and slapped it on she fastened her helmet and shield and made sure her sword was in its scabbard when she adjusted it to her hilt.

She left the Hotel and began to wander the Island looking for a spot to practice. she found a clearing right below a small hill. She drew her sword and started to swing into the air. She moved the air around her flwing the wind like it was her own personal instrument. She began pushing big piles of wind at high speed. Aiming one for the hill...

Kekowa still wandered from his talk with Natalie. His sprit was broken. Deep down in his heart he knew what he shoud do. Find someone in which to spar. Find Janos Tantalus now that he was free. But no, his old ways made him think of his talk with Natalie and how happy she was when she heard he had changed.

Perhaps one last grudge fight. just to purge myself. Yes I need to show that Janos who he Fucked with

Kekowa started to walk up a small hill a armored figure barly visable...

Valeria pushed a huge gust of wind up the hill not knowing someone was bout to cross, suddenly kekowa walked up and was lifted high above the ground he was carried almost 20 feet in the air and flew over Valeria.

Kekowa cracked a joke seeing as how it was a amusing stituation"Dang girl I've heard about being sweeped off ones feet but this is ridiculous."

Valeria manged to lighten his impact but he still landed with a thud on his butt. His jacket and belt flew away reveling his chest. His bloomers where still on but barly

Kekowa stood up and turned around. His glamor disolved by Natalie his true form showed. Every scar from his life in Tokyo and Arcadia.

Valeria went up to him "Im so sorry I had no idea someone was out this far, I..." She spied Kekowa's kodachi and truly looked at him. She saw his toned muscular form, his scars all the signs.A fellow warrior, a swordsman. His muscles they are even bigger than Daichi'. Those scars his life has been a great battle. What a man She blushed slightly seathing her sword. "I dont belive we meet," She bowed to him "Valeria Van Cleef, Dragon Dorm."

Kekowa Bowed back in a asian manner "Kekowa Hasegawa, formerly of Tokyo Japan, also of Dragon Dorm. I heard whispers about a new european exchange student but I must say your not quite what I expected." He looked at herIn all heavens her beauty rivals that of sweet Natalie. A true warriors heart and spirit. A great girl I must say "What I mean is your such a strong glourious warrior woman, I didnt expect one such as yourself, especially in your kind of attire. Very nice I must say."

Valeria smiled a bit "Why thank you. I must say I've heard Asian men whernt all that much in stature but it appears im mistaken. You must be a great warrior. Tell me about your battles? They must have been exciting?"

After a while, he slowly brought her hand closer, breathing in her scent. Closing his eyes, he lay a tender kiss on her knuckle.

If you'd like to go back to Arcadia to interact with the others, now is an alright time to say they spent the next few hours bonding and lying together, then went home. Kekowa was a bit flustered. sure women liked him back home but not in the way she did. "My battles are not important. These scars represent my old life. I am one of the strongest warriors here but I no longer thurst for battle. I wish instead peace and justice." He winked at her "Besides. It'd just bore you. I hope battle isnt all you think about. One as lovly as you should enjoy life and all it has to offer. You only live once."

Valeria backed up a bit and smiled at him "Oh well battle gets me excited. the dance of swords and metal, the digging of flesh, it has its own passion."

Kekowa looked a bit shocked by this statement It excites her? Man I wonder how? I like her but I dont know if I should go after her. Maybe let her settle down some then we'll talk again "Well now thats interesting. Maybe we'll have to try that sometime. As for me I must make my leave. My bed calls. Good night Valeria, warrior woman." He patted her on the shoulder and waved good bye as he walked off.

His Str is 14, hsi dur is 14, and has Stmain a 5, 6 or so speed I think.

And fighting skill 5, and two magic wepaons.

"The way I see it, this is actually the easiest solution to my problem. I fight for them, they give me the power I seek, I kill Selma St. Johns in front of her "mentor" Samuel McClane, then I take out the man himself."

Maxwell then smiled as he said "And then me and Lily will kill Natalie Schroeder, because... Because dearest Lily doesn't like her, and I like making Lily happy."

Though I do remember how he caused a row once, it caused problems for some of my classmates, but we all got past that. I guess he's no more unusual than any of the other instructors here, once you get used to him."

Tamiko paused for a moment, thinking, "If you were a student here five years ago, then you probably knew Gregory Gilliam. He was an Instructor here at that time."

If Max was half as competent as I give him credit for, he'd set it up so Kekowa wouldnt even know it was him playing him around.

He wouldnt directly reveal himself to Kekowa. He's not as...polite as Natalie or Selma.

He requires more of a "hands off" approach.

He'd likely set up some sort of scenario, making Kekowa distrust his allies, and Kekowa would allinate everyone he considered a friend, and Maxwell would probally prepare some kinda Anti-Kekowa plan.

But if she truly likes him I will not interfer, according to Ramon they already did it so why should I just come along and ruin it.

Dean Log Vol 1-Finals (He had been lost in time, so had no time to update, so it's more like a general recap of his experiances)

11:30am. -Finally got back from Old Nevada. I'm not even going to write about that. Infact, it never happened.

11:35am- Lizards? In spaceships? What the fuck?!? Seriously, I've got to look into this.

12:10pm- I think Sol may be a pedophile. He just up and gave Levi's sisters a magic charm. Dont get me wrong, Mai's a nice girl, but I dont go giving artifacts of awesome power to everyone who smiles at me. I guess it's been awhile since he had some kindness....Or he's cut from the same cloth as Xing.

12:30pm-Talked to Kagura. God, It's a good think I took notes from Xellos and Rhia on how to win her over. I'm tempted to just go find someone she hates, and kill them. Women dig that kinda stuff...right?

12:45pm- Seriously, Lizards? What the hell.

1:00pm- Xing been acting really wierd. I mean, first, he starts bitching at everyone, and picking fights with Jon. Then he turns into a giant bat. I think he may have a problem.

1:12pm-Back in Old Nevada, I walked behind Kagura, and looked at her ass, the whole time. I'm awesome.

2:10pm-Ate lunch with Ilias. Discussed the finer points of Sun Tsu, and Machivellis teachings. It was quite fufiling.

2:30pm-Worked on some new poses, to win Kagura over. Lets see her reject me- Wait, I have a child in the future. God, I want to die. God, I'm getting married in the future! KILL ME JESUS....Still, atleast I know I somehow manage to win Kagura over.

Maxwell barely had time to react before the shield hit him, his upper body splattering behind him as it made contact. But his lower torso didn't fall, the black ichor behind him returning to his intact portion, reentering his body, allowing him to reform.

When he was back to "normal", Maxwell frowned to Janos as he said "Don't get involved Jose. This is between me, Janos, and Lilith. He wants to try and be a Billy Badass, let him do so."

A smirk crossed his face as he said "It'll make it better when we kill him." As he did so, he raised his left hand, pointing his fingertips at Janos. His arm seemed to morph, transforming from the elbow down into a mass of writhing, hissing snakes.

The snakes began stretching, heading toward Janos, the shadow snakes' mouths filled with sharp, jagged teeth. Teeth that tried to rip into Janos' flesh as they reached him.

Kicking off the ground, the massive knight shot forward at Janos, the ax coming down to bisect the Lion.

If Janos was expecting some form of struggle from Jose, he would certainly get it. However, if said struggle was thought to be one to pull the blade from Janos, the Lion Dorm would be in for a suprise. Jose was in fact tugging the blade furthur into Janos.

"You know, poison is a wonderful thing. But I never really gave it much thought in the past." Jose's grin widened, "Of course, I suppose I had a little change of heart. Maxwell barely had time to react before the shield hit him, his upper body splattering behind him as it made contact. But his lower torso didn't fall, the black ichor behind him returning to his intact portion, reentering his body, allowing him to reform.

When he was back to "normal", Maxwell frowned to Janos as he said "Don't get involved Jose. This is between me, Janos, and Lilith. He wants to try and be a Billy Badass, let him do so."

A smirk crossed his face as he said "It'll make it better when we kill him." As he did so, he raised his left hand, pointing his fingertips at Janos. His arm seemed to morph, transforming from the elbow down into a mass of writhing, hissing snakes.

The snakes began stretching, heading toward Janos, the shadow snakes' mouths filled with sharp, jagged teeth. Teeth that tried to rip into Janos' flesh as they reached him.

Arthur's head twisted to the side before reaching a full 180 degrees. Forcibly the puppet's head twisted back. The left gauntlet suddenly grabbed at the cloak covered it before ripping it off with a single yank.

Beneath the tattered cloth, golden armor gleamed. Reaching behind 'his' back, he drew forth a second weapon; a battle ax just as massive as the sword.

You seek glory? Then you shall know it...the glory of death!

Kicking off the ground, the massive knight shot forward at Janos, the ax coming down to bisect the Lion.

Janos had anticipated something like this would happen, but that was all right with him. Turning towards the snakes, he slashed his fingers through the air, slicing portions of the shadowy serpents as they rammed into him, just as the axe fell. Gambling in an all or nothing move he managed to slam right into the armored chest of the puppet, right behind the blade of the axe.

He grinned, teeth seeped in blood, and snarled.

"That all you got, bitches?!"

He felt the air being squeezed out of him, but did not even try to keep it in. Even as his face darkened from the pressure, Janos simply laughed with maniacal eyes. Tightening his fingers, he thrust all of his strength, spirit energy, and will into them, and bit them down into the puppet's forearms. From the bottom, he thrust up at an adjacent angle with his feet. Slowly, it felt as if his efforts were finally digging in.

Then his vision started to glaze over. This wasn't good, he could barely remember a time when that happened. Unless...

Locking eyes with the Lion, a line of psychic energy shot forth. She did not attack his mind, no, but rather his body as the blast of psychic energy took the form of a barely visible thread that began at her hand to Janos' left arm.

"So much power...I do wonder if you could stand your own medicine?"

Suddenly Janos' own arm seemed to rebel against him; the traitorous limb seeking to punch him in the side of his head.

A vacant expression passed over Xing's face. For a moment, he thought that he'd heard their words wrong, or that they must've been referring to somebody else. When it became clear that the two, in fact, were asking him, Xing could only answer in one manner which pretty much explained how much he knew at the moment.

Shortly after that, however, something in his memory was triggered. He remembered his brother earlier speaking to him of certain events which he could not remember. Then he recalled Ramus speaking to him of his transformation to some creature, and that he'd been quite the smart-mouth to Dean, and a few others.

With that memory at hand, Xing wondered if it was something to do with..... whatever it was that resided within him which his brother had spoken about. Xing couldn't be too sure.

However, both Dean and Ilias were expecting something of a coherent answer from him, and overcome by stress, Xing decided to say what first came to his mind, hoping it'd act as an effective enough lie for him to hide behind for the moment, "Erm... well... It simply was that..... uh.... The heat! Yes, the heat! And well.... I've always had a problem functioning under..... erm... hot conditions.... The normal sized puppet appeared in a flash, sand whipping about the tattered cloaked form. Standing in between Lily and Janos, the puppet brought up its hand to its mouth. Snapping its finger, the flint embedded sparked revealing the flamethrower stored it in and spewing forth flames.

Natalie shrieked in laughter, thrashing around and rolled over. Then, smirking, she tackled Xellos, then broke her hold as they peeled away from each other over the ice.

"Mein Gott, you sneak," she said as she caught her breath, still laughing,"a plan for everything!"

Perhaps his earlier annoyance was in fact on this very matter of being unable to recall much of what he once knew and the anger at which his fought before was simply another sign of that.

Patting Dean on the shoulder, Xing said, "No, Dean, I am no Dracula. Amd just as I've answered honestly, I implore that you do the same as well. What is it that happened to you in the past that has caused your memory to be cast to the depths? Or is even that lost to you now?"

This time, warm ice, similar to the ice rose he'd given her all those weeks ago but softer, formed over each foot Unlike the regular ice he'd formed, this was a slower process, a testament to the intricacy and control needed to get the magical concoction just right. Harder ice protrusions grew rapidly from the ice covering the sole of her foot.

Eventually, a shape became clear. Natalie was now wearing skating boots.

Dean looked at Xing, obviously confused. Xing thought he had lost his memory? But why? It had occured to Dean, that maybe, just maybe, Xing didnt get the joke.

He had a habbit of...Well, missing the point, on more than one occassion. Even more bothersome, was Xings annoying intrest in Deans actions in the past. Xing had always been a determined one, and seemed bent on learning on what occured in the past, no matter how much Dean disliked it.

Still, Deans mind was prepared for such an likely event, and enacted a counter-measure. It quickly reformatted his question, into a less stressful one.

Aside from becoming a gigantic bat-monster. It was at this point, another possibility poped into Deans mind.

Xing was obviously a shapeshifter, or some sort of mutant, his transformation caused by some unfortunate accident of which Dean knew nothing. The asian equivilent of Dr.Jekyl and Mr.Hyde!

Or some form of werewolf like creature....A werebat!

That would explain why Xing was so hesitant to explain himself. How could he tell his friend that he would turn into a vicious creature, intent on harming all that he saw as a threat, including his friends?

Before he could get his bearings, shadows quickly engulfed and coccooned him, leaving only his head free from their confines. Any attempt to tear himself free resulted in more shadows covering his body, constricting him tighter.

Dusting off his shirt, Maxwell sighed and walked toward Janos, looking at him without a hint of humor as he said "You really shouldn't have tried to hurt my beloved Lily. It was very rude of you to try and treat such a rare and delicate flower so roughly, and besides..."

The shadows constricted Janos tighter to the point of pain as he said "It makes me very angry to see someone destroy such a rare beauty as her."

The pain racked through him, causing blood to rise and gather at his lips. However, he would never give their smug faces the satisfaction of victory. As he felt ribs snap and bones buckle, Janos's eyes flared, and his smile broke into a malicious grin.

"You're such tools..." he coughed,"...and in Max's case, he's such a goddamn pussy to boot!"


Placing a shoulder on Maxwell, Jose said, "Let him live. As of now, he can't do anything to us. And frankly, to finish him off now would be..... anti-climatic. As an artist, I'm sure you understand. He does not see things as we do yet. Let him live a little longer, prove himself more of a challenge and when next we meet to finish him, let us prove to him the value of our art."

"Yes, however, he has performed the most unforgivable of crimes. He tried to damage the rarest and most delicate of beauties, Lily. Maxwell said, snarling as he glared at the trapped form of Janos.

If he weren't confined, injured, and half delirious from the poisoning, Janos would have rolled his eyes and groaned at their exchange about art, and Maxwell's puppylove act was starting to grate on him. Scraping the inside of his teeth for something, he started to laugh darkly.

"You're pathetic," he chuckled,"there's no glamor to be found in the world of bloody struggle!"

Blue sparks of chi began to swim around his head, crackling from an unseen source.

"But if it's a piece of her you want, then I'd be happy to give it to you!"

From his teeth shot out five glasslike projections rippling with chi: five of Lily's hairs. His breath fogged the air, smouldering as if from the mouth of a demon, as he spat the crackling strands like darts at Maxwell's face.

"Do you see now? This is why I felt like leaving." Angelique sighed.

With a glance, she overloaded Jose's brain with psychic energy.

Xellos laughed mischievously as he felt her body impact him, sending them both sliding along the ice.

Getting onto his knees, he placed his hands around her feet, hands still trembling slightly from mirth. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself and concentrated.

This time, warm ice, similar to the ice rose he'd given her all those weeks ago but softer, formed over each foot Unlike the regular ice he'd formed, this was a slower process, a testament to the intricacy and control needed to get the magical concoction just right. Harder ice protrusions grew rapidly from the ice covering the sole of her foot.

Eventually, a shape became clear. Natalie was now wearing skating boots.

Natalie nodded with a contented smile, then narrowed her eyes cheekily.

"Glass slippers? Xellos~!"

Unfortunately, as she tried to stand herself up, she could scarcely do more than balance on the blades' edges, stuck stationary on the surface of the pond. With a small flush as she teetered here and there, she smiled and held out her hand to him.

She had told Selma she rooted for her, and she still did, but seeing Kekowa heartbroken made her very sad, and it made her wonder if she hadn't been naive about the whole situation. With so many yearning to win Natalie's heart, most of them would end up hurt. For the first time in her entire life, Rhia found herself wondering if love was always a good thing.

"You're no baby, Kekowa. You're a man," she said softly. "I know that. You're strong and brave and noble. But it's okay to cry when it hurts. Okay? Go ahead, I won't tell."

Its just a friendly contest a test really, but I must warn you daichi, even though we are dormates I will not fall easily and even though I will try my best not to cause serious injury to you It could happen."

Kekowa's chi was dumped into his body increasing his abilty to soak up damage(I just did my stat boost, dont worry its a point for point transfer. I have 7 chi so 7+ my 4 in du is 11) "North star iron skin technique!" Kekowa got into a ready pose and started to reach for his Kodachi but stoped "Wait I would feel bad if I used my sword skills against you, you have no weapons. I wont if you think its unfair."
