School House Rumble, Part 1: Arcadia, school of Old

"SIRUS!" Henry screamed before firing a massive Telekinetic blast at the silver-haired man, chucks of cement flying all over the place.

Still smiling calmly, Nihil vanished in a blur and the blast of telekinetic force missed entirely.

He appeared again on Henry's left. As the younger Savage brother turned to face him, he raised his left hand. His index and middle finger pointed forward, and an orb of red chi had formed at his fingertips.

"Vis Nihilum."

The crimson beam of energy struck Hnery dead on. Spent from the previous battle, he only barely got his shields up in time, but the force of the blast was still enough to send him flying off his feet. He rolled across the hard tiled floor of the terrace, came to a stop, and didn't get up.

"So much power," Nihil said with a slight headshake. "Too bad his body isn't quite so strong. Now then, your highness, I'm afraid I'm going to have to..."

"Boost Sorcery!"

He turned to look at Rhia. Her aura blazed, visible to the eye, in bright blue. It sparckled light lighting, lifting shattered cement and debree into the air around her. Her eyes remained blue, but started to glow and sparkle, as if they each held a small thunderstorm inside.

With an expression of rage on her face, she held her hand out. Her chi started to collect in the palm of her hand in the shape of a large sphere made out of purple and blue lightning.

"Oho?" Nihil grinned. "Interesting." Raising his hand, he formed his own sphere, red as glowing blood and still for but a low hum. "Let's see what you'e got!"

"The Fire of Heaven in the palm of my hand!" Rhia cried and dashed towards him, striking her attack with all her might. "Shift Thunderstorm Talon!"

The two speres of ki met, and then a giant explosion demolished the terrace.

"I've...somehow lost my mana...," she said, slightly spaced out and unfocussed.

How did this...why? Was it do to the focus in the circle, where all are one?

"...so this is what it is to defy the goddesses...I should have been prepared..."

Selma walked over to Natalie and wrapped her arms around the witch, pulling her close. She began gently stroking Natalie's hair as she whispered "It'll be OK Natalie, I promise. I'll do whatever I can to help you."

Caked with blood, woozy, yet with a sliver of hope, Natalie felt ready to head into the heart of danger once more. However, another matter needed to be taken care of first.

"...I need a bath...but I'll be ready to go when you are."

With a smile, she paced off to find a basin. So much pressure already, and they had just arrived. She needed to be alone for a while.

Selma watched Natalie walk off to find somewhere to clean herself up. Looking around, she nodded as she said "I know Natalie... Empowering, isn't it? Knowing that we're surrounded by some of the strongest of women."

"As for what they have... I don't know. But they probably have some weapons, possibly really cool daggers." Selma said. She then smiled as she continued "In fact, I bet we could get you a couple and I could teach you to use them in combat."

Kekowa rubbed his chin "A good plan. But perhaps we should ham it up a bit. Say we where given a vision from god and where thrust back to help him. He'd belive that I think, people back in these times where quite gullible. And considering I went though the Philistine camp yelling "I am the Angel of death!" will make our story a little more believable."

They are discussing something of little importance, in order to attempt to hide the almost overwhelming sexual tension between them, and more or less failing miserably.

Dean says something awesome, which Kagura finds stupid. Dean attempts to defend himself.

During which, they happen to look each other in the eyes, triggering the makeup reflex.

As they move in slowly, about to kiss... A spoon forged from admantine, going at mach 2, hits Dean on the side of his head, sending him rolling down the hill.

Ambling off to the edge of the village, head pounding and full of the smell of her own blood, Natalie sought to find somewhere, anywhere, a source of water to bathe in. As much as Rhia and Selma had invigorated her, her spirit was willing, but physically, she still felt terrible.

The further she went through the village, she noticed that the number of sentinels dwindled, and for every one of them it seemed the trees and shrubbery grew thicker around the area. Whatever this could have meant she wasn't sure, but a few steps further, the sound of rushing water made itself known to her ears. Also the sound of splashing and laughter.

Shielded from view by a wall of reeds, a stream of water from above emptied into a basin in the centre of a luminous grove. Approaching with caution, Natalie made herself scarce, for it seemed that though she found what she was looking for, in Amazonia the baths were strictly public.

Mein Gott...what should I do, she thought to herself, intimidated by the sight of these warrior women.

Quietly, she made her way around to the far side of the grove to the shallows. Sure that she had escaped their notice, she laid her clothing in a folded pile to the side and made her bath in about a foot and a half of frigid water.

Finally, the worst part of all: the hair. A virtual puddle wouldn't quite be enough, especially for the part of the body that soaks up the most water.

Holding herself as she lay there, nude and shivering, she let her thoughts wander as she let the cold creep into her skin. However, before she could really focus beyond the task of defeating a being that laid claim to Heracles, she found herself gripped by strong arms, and dunked facefirst underwater. The shock of the submersion caused her to freeze up for a moment, the grip catching her by surprise in its strength. Fighting and thrashing, she brought her head to the surface, only to find that she had been dragged into the midst of the basin.

"And what do we have here," one of them started with a laugh,"a shyster? Or some sort of Sapphic voyeur?"

"Wouldn't blame her. I mean look at her, so soft and ruddy..."

"Please, look how her bosom swells. Clearly she must have been fat with child. Look how flushed she is."

An uproar of laughter echoed across the grove as Natalie covered herself in her arms.

"So...why exactly are we on a deserted island again?"

"This is the closest source of land for the next few thousand miles."

"Oh..." Sighing, Nakano Tomoe sat on the trunk of a crooked palm tree, feet absently kicking in the air. The sounds of giggling came as Mai entertained herself by following a crab that skittered across the surf.

"Tomorrow morning we'll return; hopefully not much damage has been done." Monk Shu replied. While he doubted Solarius would fully attack Arcadia so early, one always need to be cautious.

Natalie stood there silently in the middle of the water, lapping water into her hair, eyes dashing nervously about as her posture shrank, feeling eyes rolling over her body. One of the Amazons made her way forward and abruptly gave her a pinch, making her yelp in surprise. Well muscled and statuesque, with olive skin and dark hair, she smiled mischeviously as she raised her arms above her head, rubbing a clot of scented soap into her hair, then held some out to her.

"You're not from around here are you? Pale, gold-headed, and not a single scar? I'd guess you were from the North, but those barbarian women, so unlike them to be this meek."

Due to the loose sand beneath her feet, she ended up being pushed back farther than she hoped, but before reaching the surf a foothold was made. With her limbs occupied, she struck out the only way she could. Jerking back her head, she swung forward, headbutting the massive creature.

Stunned briefly, she took the offense, "Take this! Kubi Oru Hizasen!!" Launching herself forward, her knee slammed underneath its chin, whipping its large head back. Such a strike would have broken the average person's neck, but it did little to the boar. Nonetheless, the creature turned and fled back into the jungles of the island.

Turning, she looked to Mai and Shu before throwing a V sign with her fingers.

Currently, Peter is Lucky. By my limit, Chrosis is technically immune, since until Dean maxes out, the opponents durability has to be superior to Deans power by more than 5 points to render it ineffective.

IE: Dean has 12 STR, And the opponent has 17 DUR= 1 stat point down.

Dean with 12 STR and the opponent has 7 DUR= 5 Stat points down.


...I may not implement this, out of Peter spite :P

Peter doesn't utilize Chi, so it's a no factor. But if you can knock out Chi stat points by striking certain parts of the body, it makes Shingan sound suspiciously like Byakugan. Can you tell me what parts of the body these are? :p


All in all, the way I look at it, the durability stats mean that damage would be calculated depending on the force to durability ratio.

Probably. If you smashed the hell out of my arms, they would still be just as resistant to damage as they were before. You would have just damaged them enough to impair their use.

With an expression of rage on her face, she held her hand out. Her chi started to collect in the palm of her hand in the shape of a large sphere made out of purple and blue lightning.

"Oho?" Nihil grinned. "Interesting." Raising his hand, he formed his own sphere, red as glowing blood and still for but a low hum. "Let's see what you'e got!"

"The Fire of Heaven in the palm of my hand!" Rhia cried and dashed towards him, striking her attack with all her might. "Shift Thunderstorm Talon!"

The two speres of ki met, and then a giant explosion demolished the terrace.

As the dust cleared, Rhia had been knocked back by the blast. Nihil still stood.

There was an unnatural, vibrating sound and a portal made out of squared holes into another place opened in mid-air. Unah stepped through, followed by Sesqui and Quator.

"Friends, the mission is a success," Nihil informed them. He turned to Quince, who still lay knocked out on the ground. "Quince, how are you doing?"

Quince's arm rose, pointing her thumb into the air.

"That's great," Nihil said. "Unah, help her up, will you?"

"Dammit!" Rhia growled, still suspended in mid-air. "What do you want from me?"

Natalie paused, then, while her back was turned, grabbed Selma towards her chest and pulled her underwater, laughing mischievously on the way down. When they resurfaced from the splash, Natalie chided her.

"Then the first thing you can do is keep on guard! You can't let anything douse your flames that easily."

Laughing, the lead Amazon helped them both up with a smile.

"Well, what are you waiting for then? But those strange garments you wore will be of no help in the forest. I, Eres, shall make sure you're prepared."

Turning to the crowd, she barked out,"Leto! Aglea! Let's make sure our heroes are better equipped for what they must face ahead!"

Two other of their number, just as tall and proud in their bare appearance, strode forth, and the three stepped out of the water, beckoning the girls to follow them back to the village.

Eres looked over to the reeds on the far side, and whistled out to Alexia.

"And don't think we forgot about you, little nymph! Come along now!"

And so they head back into the village. While the Amazons were comfortable with this, Natalie followed, curled over timidly holding her dirty clothes about her front.

OOC: I just realised something.

Rhia hasn't had a change of clothes since before the tournament, since when she's been beaten on, blown up, cut up (by Quince), had one arm of her shirt disintegrated by her own Shift Thunderstorm Talon (mental note: retcon that detail in) time-displaced and finally dragged across a forest by Amazons.

In other words, what she's wearing should be closer to rags then clothes.

Obviously, she's going to need some new duds. And seeing as she's not only a visiting dignitary, but is also going into battle against the enemies of the amazons, you'd think Hippolyta would sport her and her friends some amazon armor. *nudges Cleric* ;)

If for no other reason, I'd love to see Henry's reaction when Rhia returns dressed up like Xena. :D

The stone golem catches the semi-sized staff head and skids back. It then picks the staff head up and slams it back down, attempting to dislodge or hurt Levi.

Instead trying to fight it, Levi allowed himself to be lifted off the ground. Suddenly, the staff retracted, launching the former monk toward the golem. Rearing back one chi-filled hand, when Levi reached the golem, he drove it down, igniting the chi once the open palm strike connected, erupting with an explosion of green chi.

[The Dog]

Natalie paused, then, while her back was turned, grabbed Selma towards her chest and pulled her underwater, laughing mischievously on the way down. When they resurfaced from the splash, Natalie chided her.

"Then the first thing you can do is keep on guard! You can't let anything douse your flames that easily."

Selma's eyes widened in surprise as she felt Natalie's bare chest against her back. But before she could react, they disappeared beneath the water for a moment or two. When they resurfaced, her face had darkened even more than before, the water doing little to douse the heat in her cheeks.

She wanted to turn around and ask Natalie and finally find out the truth once and for all. Taking a deep breath, she prepared to turn around...


Rhia/Natalie/Alexia/Selma: The queen comes into the bath house and raises and eyebrow at the lot of you, including the hiding Alexia whom she just outed.

"Now, then, so this is the ruckus. No matter, for it is nice to see such high spirits. I have clothes and food prepared for you when you are ready to dine with me."

Selma's head snapped to the Queen, taking her in for a few moments before she nodded and said "Yes ma'am." However, the appearance of the Queen did little to silence the questions brewing inside of her mind, the need for finality concerning her feelings for Natalie.

Cleric, Kekowa's done the bow thingy. Basically he wants to try using less wierd sounding names than Kekowa and Xellos to avoid spooking the Isrealites.

Xellos is hanging back in reserve in case David sees through it and gets annoyed.

"Tell David that he there isa man here who claims to have raided the Philistine camp last night and caused all that commotion."

Thrown back by the backhand, Levi landed on his feet; the worn soles digging two trenches into the soil. Finding himself surrounded by the gathered dwarves, he extended the staff to its default size, he quickly twirled it about his body, seeking the strike each between the eyes with the tips of the legendary weapon.

"Let this prove my story, the helm of the mighty Goliath. I raided his camp and demoralised him and his men. And I stole this to ensure your victory. Me and a companion where givin a vision and thrust to this time by something devine. I humbly request future majesty King David help in returning to our own time."

As Kado and Chin stood up again, Koga gives another 'yip' then starts to pant, his tongue hanging out of his mouth, but looking happy as well.

With Sun Wukong's staff landing several yards away, Levi was weaponless, though already he had an idea for the six he fought. Gathering chi up for another Xuán Wu Palm, Levi brought that open palm strike forward at the golem, but not to hit it. No, he struck the ground beneath its feet. The eruption of earth sent dirt blasting the air as the ground was blow away, no doubt causing the golem to fall or become unbalance. To aid in which direction it fell, Levi spun about behind it, another Xuán Wu Palm gathered in the other palm. Striking the back of the golem, the blast went off.

Though it wouldn't hurt the golem, he hoped the blast would topple it other onto the five off balanced dwarves.

[Ghost]
