The one on the pavillion stopped talking as the two you chased whispered in his ear.

"Kin! Filthy human-apes have killed several of our brothers! We must avenge them!"

The one on the pavillion suddenly pointed at Daichi and Ramon, despite their invisible spells. His eyes were glowing red.

"There, buy those rocks! They spy on us! Kill them!"

With that, dozens of the lizard men began to turn around, their eyes glowing red aswell as they too saw through the spells.

Freya nodded to them.


"There is no need to speak psychically, Henry, Peter's friend. I mean no harm to come to any, much less Peter or his friends."

"She offered to take us to her place", Peter elaborated.

A blue light flashed, then Forte found himself deposited in a shadowed forest.

Forte looked around. "No tracks. No sign of people ever coming through here." He took out stone. "Guess any direction is good then."

He leaped onto a branch. He head west at subsonic speed, occasionally checking the stone for some clue.

1. If Kado's pup ended up like Noise, I'd shit myself. Noise is from TOS, and it's basically animal that evolves over time.

In the beginning it was like a fish or something, eventually became a dog, and will one day become a man.

Not relvant, I just love commentary.

2.I'll probally answer this question, and after Garthin responds, I'll wait for Gladaria. Well, after I ask one other question.

IC: Ilias looked at Dean, silently. He could see the gears in Deans head turning, as he thought about what he wished to do.


"Dean..." He said softly. "You know as well as I, we have our own concerns..."

Ilias looked towards Kagura, who he knew would agree with him.

Dean didnt hear him, he was too deep in thought.

Dean would have liked nothing more than to offer his assistance to Garthin and his companions, doing all in his ability to slay the menace that befowled their land.

He hadnt been here very long, but in that time he had, Garthin and his folks had been nothing be welcoming to him and his friends. The least he could do is offer him their help.


Unforunately, 'help' was beyond his abilities. Even if he took it upon himself to declare a one man war, and slay ever creature in the land, Old Nevada was lost. The creatures had already decimated the land, and practically destroyed it's people. In the long run, he'd accomplish nothing, other than maybe getting his friends killed.

Besides, he knew enough about time travel to know that running around playing Hero never was a good thing. Not to mention he had his own future to save.

Even if leaving the women and Garthin to whatever fate may befall them left a horrid taste in his mouth.

There was nothing for him to do here. Maybe if he had been a few years earlier....

"I guess all we can do is try and find a way back." He said at last, sighing. "You wouldnt be able to help us with that, I suppose?"



Garthin paused a moment, then nodded.


"Perhaps. There are still old Atlantean artifacts in the ruined capital city. They may be able to help you."

Sirus in the meantime was looking Freya's body up and down and wasn't keeping his admiration a secret.

She ran towards him, keeping her pace steady and her direction unchanging. As she moved in closer, she fainted a back-kick, then, at the last second, switched her attack to a low side-kick, trying to catch him off-guard.

After about half an hour of swimming, the two went ashore, tired.

Kekowa was a little wozy but he did not falter. He instinctively wrapped his leggs around Goliath's head and squeezed, chocking the life out of him. Then with a mighty thrusting flip he pile-drived Goliath's head to the ground with all of his chi powered might causing a huge crater in the ground.

He then got off his back and started to pound Goliaths face with all of his might

She hoped her quiet suggestion of leaving Hera out wouldn't provoke offense, for she was afraid for them. She had read it was the Queen Goddess that ended the kingdom of Amazonia and Queen Hippolyta's life with it.

Choosing to speak instead of attacking, Tamiko looked up at Andros, "Wouldn't we need great speed of body and of relexes to do this? Or perhaps I need to stop using my eyes...." a thought just occured to her.

Closing her eyes and relaxing her body, Tamiko tried to sense Andros' position. Focusing as much of her energy into her speed as she could, she again ran towards him, trying to react to his presence without seeing or thinking about it. She threw her kicks, reacting only to his movement.

Standing up, Xing looked to one of the other labourers. Waking the closest one up, Xing asked, "Do you hear that noise? What is it?"

The man ignored him and went back to sleep.

Once airborne Kekowa lept, he charged his hands with chi and brought them down together like a club on Goliath's face, sending him back to the ground. "Tell me how Terra Firma tastes!" Kekowa said while still in the air.

Goliath took the blow and was cut deeply. He roared, grabbed Kekowa, and threw him, literally, out of the Philistine camp and right by his camel. He then staggered back and fell, bruised and hurting and bleeding.



He hadn't beaten the boy, he realized, he's only stalemated him. In fact, with his speed, the boy would have beaten him eventually.


This realization makes Goliath shudder in something he'd never felt before.

Putting a head to her brow, her vision swam with dots and her head spun.

Natalie rubbed the pain in her eyes and nose, still stuck in a fog of magical backlash. Selma's confession wasn't helping matters any, nor was she in the mood to really hear it. She sat silently, even as she head outside the shrine.

IC: This thought amused Jon. Selma's slender neck between his fingers, pulsing rapidly, her skin becoming a dark red color. This noise she would make as he slowly exerted force onto her throat crushing it slowly, but surely, her body growing weaker, and limp, as time went on.

Eventually, she would lose conciousness, and Jon would snap her neck. Then he would look over at Dean, smiling.

Oh, she would struggle, no matter how vain. And Join would love it. He always loved the struggle, it was unbelievably enjoyable for him to slowly crush a resisting opponent.

After all, it's so much more fun to do these things by force.

Shortly before the last rounds of the tournament could be watched through her crystal ball of scrying, as she flew over the ocean two major moments of interference had occurred. The first caused Ilsa to lose sight of her sister, returning itself in the midst of what appeared to be some sort of shinobi attack.

The second contained vague images; a cloaked man radiating a terribly dark aura, which shut down the visions entirely, rendering it completely inert.

"Mein Gott," Ilsa murmured as she pocketed the ball,"I can only guess psychomagnotheoric radiation on that scale is the result of dark dealings...or just scratching the surface of something far worse!"

Clicking her heels twice and activating a hand sigil, she began to track Natalie by the runes of her hat as her broom sped off into the sky.

That was eight hours ago.

A silent night lay over the arena, charred and broken, the seats empty. Ilsa brough her broom down slowly and hopped off into the middle of it. Immediately drawing her eyes over it, she could see vague visions. A metamorphic cocoon, shadow beasts, Japanese ofuda wards, a demonic warrior, and shards of living ice.

"Ja...that's not good. Not at all. Natalie! Where are you?!"

In a small bit of panic, she desperately searched for somebody, anybody, of the Arcadian faculty.

Xing finds a young woman sitting by a small pond, playing a harp like instrument.

At first, Xing could not make the figure out perfectly, what with the trees blocking what little moonlight the night provided. It became easier once he got close enough and while he could not determine certain features, he was fairly sure that the woman was quite young in age.

As he approached her, the chill he felt from before ran through him again, and he remembered his current lack of chi manipulation ability. For a moment, he felt that it'd be safer to return to the main camp, rather than involve himself in something that he had no business with.

But, despite the discomfort Xing felt, Xing was quite curious as to why a woman like her would be out here, in the woods, and so near the main camp, considering that there were no female labourers. Besides, he could see no reason why this woman should pose him any harm.

Taking a few steps closer, Xing spoke softly, but enough to gain the woman's attention, "Erm.... excuse me, but what are you doing out here?"

Then there is my dorm, the Shadow Dorm, that focuses on the shadier forms of combat; assassinations and what not, then there's the Norn Dorm, which consists of seven girls who are more like seven goddesses in power. Then there is the Dragon Dorm, which has been known a bit as the mutt of the dorms."

Maxwell smiled to her and said "A lady such as yourself shouldn't feel like anything less than royalty."

I was kinda hoping Xellos and Kek would run before the fight was truely settled. You'd flatten him with a haymaker or something and send him into a tent, then disengage before he rose again.

Goliath is the champion of the Philistines...if he was defeated in single combat I'd think they'd be seriously demoralised, and I don't think Goliath would even be in any shape to get up the next day and fight David.

That said, if you really wanna finish the fight till the end, I guess I won't object.

Goliath took the blow and was cut deeply. He roared, grabbed Kekowa, and threw him, literally, out of the Philistine camp and right by his camel. He then staggered back and fell, bruised and hurting and bleeding.



He hadn't beaten the boy, he realized, he's only stalemated him. In fact, with his speed, the boy would have beaten him eventually.


This realization makes Goliath shudder in something he'd never felt before.

He reached the area just as Kekowa was sent airborne, flying over a hundred feet away. The giant man fell soon after.

Perhaps it was unnecessary, but he stepped on his solar plexus on the way out, driving the air from his lungs.

He then raced to Kekowa, who was already staggering to his feet. He gave the fighter a slap on the shoulder,

"nice work, but it's time to go!"
