School House Rumble, Part 1: Arcadia, school of Old

Natalie smiled. They would give it their all before they combat what ancient evil had gripped the land. Pulling Rhia and the others aside for a moment, she laid out the basic premise of her plan.

"We all know, the Amazons' strength comes from the Greek pantheon, specifically Ares, who Hippolyta may trace her lineage to, and all the goddesses...save one."

Her expression growing somber, Natalie explained, "I'm sure with the strength of the Oracle, we can contact the goddesses, but before we do so I must ask: Are you willing to defy Hera?"

Rhia grinned. "I'm not even afraid of my own gods, let alone some toga-wearing peacock woman. Let me at her, I'm ready for some defiance!"

OOC: I was wondering the same. This works fine. I went with arena anyways.

IC: Jon turned his head towards the questioning voice, a hint of irritation in his eyes. It was as if the universe was going out of his way to rub this in his face.

Still, as much as he hated it, the facts were the facts. There was no point in denying it.

"Dragon Dorm 'won' technically." He muttered, unhappy to have to let such words flow from his mouth.

He still didnt get it. Bell, Hilda, Shun, Solarius.....All of these women were phenomonal, and still lost to those Dragons, ones not worthy to shine their shoes.

I guess if you get enough ants, even a lion can be consumed..

"Ahh..."

With that, Janos began to laugh, his body lightly heaving as he did so as he clutched his medallion.

"Wonderful! Such strength! Such spirit!," he exclaimed,"conquering fate itself against all odds!"

he couldn't fathom what was going through the other student's mind, this loathing. He had the honor to witness the apex of the battles yet to be fought by an Arcadian. That they decimated the Norn was further something to be admired, not scorned.

Wishing she had about half of Rhia's enthusiasm, Natalie nodded in kind.

"Wunderbar, because I have a huge favor to ask of you. We'll need a coordinated effort to contact the Astral Plane, and to do that we need to get around this hex."

"Django mentioned you had an unorthodox magical ability, ja? To disperse and redirect them?"

Wishing she had about half of Rhia's enthusiasm, Natalie nodded in kind.

Interesting. Since Kekowa has learned North star Technques. their next match will be a strictly close quarters affair. Wont garantee Kekowa wont bust out his kodachi though;)

"While they couldn't have won the last round if it was a fair fight, I don't have any problem with that. Norn beat us, so their defeat is revenge enough for me."

Janos' eyes widened as he turned swiftly.

What the hell? Noone can sneak up on me...unless she's a psychic, or mage...

Janos, briefly shaken, snuffed at this notion.

"The terms of the match were decided, and they were the victors. That's all that matters."

"My name is Andros, and I am the last of the Rocs."

Julien knelt(?) before Arthur.

Arthur touched Excalibur to both his shouders.

"Arise, Sir Julien the Quick."

"Are you ready to begin, then?"

Freya waved her hand, and the cold no longer stung at Peter. In fact, he was quite comfortable then.

"The cold does not bother me when I don't wish it to."

Peter pulled down his scarf, scarf, surprised, "...wow."

Slowly, he began to play, picking up speed.

Kekowa rushed the behemoth, slicing his spear in twain and punching him in the kidney. The giant was barly affected Humm He's tough but is he strong?

Kekowa stepped back. He began to channel his chi into his muscles focusing most of his chi he had (About three points) into them, almost doubling them.

I still have chi left for what I have planed so lets see him stand up to my might.

He raised his hands for a test of strength contest.

"Care to test yourself fiend?"

OOC: Thats his stat booster. if he dumps all of his chi into a stat he doubles it for a period of time or untill Kekowa realeases it. I dumped three points in so thats a 1.75% increase thats 21. I did the math

Kekowa could feel the impact his newfound strength had on the giants belly "Now will you yield heathen?" Kekowa said in a cocky attitude

Kekowa was a little wozy but he did not falter. He instinctively wrapped his leggs around Goliath's head and squeezed, chocking the life out of him. Then with a mighty thrusting flip he pile-drived Goliath's head to the ground with all of his chi powered might causing a huge crater in the ground.

He then got off his back and struck Goliath in the temple. He pored all of his remaining chi into it while releasing the chi from his muscles gaining a bit back.

Goliath tried to move but in vain "Pressure points may not work but this technique sure will. I have just pored a portain of my chi into your brain. the reason you canot move is because my chi is blocking the part of your brain that controls movements. Feel lucky if I so wished I could have taken your head. It will wear off after a about an hour maybe less. But by that time the opposing army will be here and you will have no time."

What he doesnt know that once he can move if he gets struck in the head. Like say by a rock slung by a youth, the chi that's pooled their will intantly kill him. Feels nice to help history along

Kekowa got off the giant and grabbed his Kodachi and sheathed them while walking out of camp unopposed. He got on his camel and hollared to them while riding away. "Your champion Goliath has felt the lords stremgth, but you have more reason to fear. David is even stronger than I! He will fell Goliath in one strike!"

Kekowa galloped his camel and headed to the sand dune to meet Xellos.

Xellos continued finished mixing the Aloe Vera and Senna together just as he reached Goliaths' breakfast for the next day, as indicated from the commander's map.

A huge meat platter and a cask of water.

Xellos quickly spread the laxative herbs into the meal, then continued on the Goliath's personal tent, going via underground to avoid the guards.

There lay a magnificent suit of armour. The massive shield was almost as tall as Xellos...and more importantly, the helmet was incredibly huge. So large, in fact, that nobody in the army could possibly wear one of similar size.

Xellos wrapped the helmet in some cloth and tied it to his torso, then made his way to the armory to ensure no spare helmets would survive.

Simply beating up Goliath was sufficient, even maybe giving him a head injury or concussion...the head impact death thing completely makes the David vs Goliath fight cheap...hell Goliath could accidentally hit his head on a ceiling and die before the fight.

Kekowa was a little wozy but he did not falter. He instinctively wrapped his leggs around Goliath's head and squeezed, chocking the life out of him. Then with a mighty thrusting flip he pile-drived Goliath's head to the ground with all of his chi powered might causing a huge crater in the ground.

He then got off his back and struck Goliath in the temple. He pored all of his remaining chi into it while releasing the chi from his muscles gaining a bit back.

Goliath tried to move but in vain "Pressure points may not work but this technique sure will. I have just pored a portain of my chi into your brain. the reason you canot move is because my chi is blocking the part of your brain that controls movements. Feel lucky if I so wished I could have taken your head. It will wear off after a about an hour maybe less. But by that time the opposing army will be here and you will have no time."

What he doesnt know that once he can move if he gets a very strong strike in the head. Like say by a rock slung by a youth, the chi that's pooled their will intantly kill him. Feels nice to help history along

As you followed the trail, you find yourself just before the entrance to a wide cavern. Inside are perhaps 1000 of the lizard men, all chanting as one ascends a crude pavillion looking area.

The two you tracked seem to be making their way towards the one on the pavillion.

Kekowa was a little wozy but he did not falter. He instinctively wrapped his leggs around Goliath's head and squeezed, chocking the life out of him. Then with a mighty thrusting flip he pile-drived Goliath's head to the ground with all of his chi powered might causing a huge crater in the ground.

He then got off his back, jumping on Goliath and planting a kodachi in each of his shoulders so far the embedded in the ground

Goliath tried to move but in vain "Pressure points may not work but this technique sure will. Feel lucky if I so wished I could have taken your head. It will wear off, a big guy like you about an hour maybe less. But by that time the opposing army will be here and you will have no time." Kekowa realeased the chi in his muscles sending it back into his body and returning to normal

Kekowa got off the giant and grabbed his Kodachi and sheathed them while walking out of camp unopposed. He got on his camel and hollared to them while riding away. "Your champion Goliath has felt the lords strength, but you have more reason to fear. David is even stronger than I! He will fell Goliath in one strike!"

Kekowa galloped his camel and headed to the sand dune to meet Xellos.

IC: Ilias looked at Dean, silently. He could see the gears in Deans head turning, as he thought about what he wished to do.

Ilias looked towards Kagura, who he knew would agree with him.

Dean didnt hear him, he was too deep in thought.

Dean would have liked nothing more than to offer his assistance to Garthin and his companions, doing all in his ability to slay the menace that befowled their land.

He hadnt been here very long, but in that time he had, Garthin and his folks had been nothing be welcoming to him and his friends. The least he could do is offer him their help.


Unforunately, 'help' was beyond his abilities. Even if he took it upon himself to declare a one man war, and slay ever creature in the land, Old Nevada was lost. The creatures had already decimated the land, and practically destroyed it's people. In the long run, he'd accomplish nothing, other than maybe getting his friends killed.

Besides, he knew enough about time travel to know that running around playing Hero never was a good thing. Not to mention he had his own future to save.

Even if leaving the women and Garthin to whatever fate may befall them left a horrid taste in his mouth.

There was nothing for him to do here. Maybe if he had been a few years earlier....
