Actually this is completely different. This is more like:

1. Selma breaks down. She vows never to be so affectionate with Natalie again.

2. Natalie attempts to cheer her up.

3. Selma says something stupid.

4. Natalie begins crying and sobbing, hitting Selma.

5. Selma realizes something, cheers up.

6. Selma sees the state Natalie is in.

Actually this is completely different. This is more like:

1. Selma breaks down. She vows never to be so affectionate with Natalie again.

OOC: Nah, just details.:p All the steps I described are still there, they're just executed a bit differently each time. Selma is now way happier than when she was breaking down alone, because she can break down with Natalie and bond with her. Yes, she's gonna keep crying, but it's really impossible to be completely sad when you're doing that while hugging onto your crush. Hence, Natalie has cheered up Selma, this time by crying herself rather than talking to her. About the only one that hasn't been fulfilled for this cycle is step 4.

He sighed,

"look, I'm not gonna say I'm not angry with you. I am, and I probably still will be after this."

"I also know that you did it largely out of wanting to protect Natalie, and that you aren't enthusiastic about the aftermath."

He leaned on the doorframe,

As Dean descended down the stairs to congradulate his friends on thier victory, and join in the merry making, he considered who to greet first.

On the one hand, he saw Peter, furiously arguing with Django involving something about Honor, and fairness, and victory, and something else Dean didnt care about. He was too tired to deal with all the arguing.

On the other hand, he saw Ramus, and Xing. Xing may have been incredibly moody recently, but they were friends, and judging from his interaction with Ramus, he was back to normal. He wanted to ask him about how he managed to turn into a giant...bat...thingy, also.

Unfortunately, Xing happened to be Nude, or close to it, covering himself with a large piece of cloth, curtesy of Ramus.

Still, Dean didnt think he could have a casual conversation with a friend that was half naked in front of hundereds of people.

Xellos was already gone, to god knows where. Maybe to Dropkick cripples, or whatever he does in his sparetime. Dean had never gotten to know him too well.

Finally, Dean spotted Kagura, who other than breathing a bit heavily, seemed to be fine. And since she was neither yelling at someone, nor missing articles of clothing, Dean figured this would be an acceptable time to talk to her.

"So, now that we've won, are we going to Disneyland?" Dean said, smiling as he approached her.

"Disneyland has everything to do with this!" Dean shouted, once again getting excited as only he could. "Anytime anybody wins anything, they have to go to Disneyland to celebrate! It's like a custom, a rule, a law, A-"

Crack

Dean stopped in mid sentence, as Kaguras glasses cracked without warning. He entertained the notion that it was quite possible he spoke with such authority and vigor, Kagura's poor glasses were unable to take the strain, and cracked.

He quickly realized that he didnt care what the reason was. Something about it was funny as hell to him.

It took all of his will to resist laughing at Kagura's misfortune. The day was going to well for him to risk getting slapped across his face.

"Damn," she stared cross-eyed at the lens' of her glasses, which were now baring spider-webbed cracks, sighing she took them off and pocketed them.

OOC: Time for Dean to notice that lacking her glasses Kagura looks much less stern, and quite cute. :P

OOC: Dean will notice no such thing!!

Kagura: *Glares*

....Fine. But I'll do it in the way Deans fans have come to expect! And wait, Dean already thought she was cute!

Internal Monologue Time!

IC: Deans urge to engage in rampant laughter faded on its own as Kagura removed her glasses.

He looked at Kagura for a moment frozen in time. He was in shock, awe, amazement.

She didnt seem to be glaring.

It was amazing to Dean. For as long as he had known her, she always, atleast subconciously, seemed to be slighty glaring at someone. It had no negitive effect on her beauty, but Dean could only look at her for so long before feeling as if she were attempting to freeze his soul.

Dean had never once considered the possibility that said glare was a result of her glasses, and not a naturally grumpy disposition.

And yet, before him was Kagura, without her glasses, looking surprisingly friendly. Well, he wouldnt necessarily use the word "Friendly", more like...Gentle. Kind.

He considered rather or not he liked Kagura better with or without glasses. He decided that she was beautiful either way.

...Although he did like to be able to look at her without thinking his soul may freeze.

He continued staring at her, not completely aware that he had been doing so for several seconds, and that she might, infact, find such a thing annoying.

"Umm..." He began, slowly regaining focus, attempting to remember his former train of thought. He decided it to be unimportant, and decided to change the subject to one of more relevance.

"You know." Dean said, coming out of his Daze. "I didnt think you had a setting other than glare."

Kekowa woke up, but was not in the real world. It was a strange place almost like a illusion. It was white all around with a small building in the center. He was in the building on a bed, It was half made and supplies where strewn about.

"Am I in heaven? I must have died from my wounds, That bastard. Oh well least I died an honorable warriors death on my feet on the battle field." Kekowa got up with a half smile intent on inspecting his surroundings

Qui Lan entered "Alas you are not dead yet pupil." Qui Lan said with a smile "And this one would think that being dead would be a bad thing." Qui Chuckled slightly

Kekowa had alomst gotten used to the fact that he had died. Somehow he had been relived , he sighed "So sensei, what rbings you here? For that matter what is this place?"

Qui Lan took a seat and became deathly serious "This is a inbetween place, this is the place between life and death. I bought you here to train. In the real world you are in a deep meditation and will awaken in five minutes right outside the arena in the real world. However time moves much slower here, and a minute their is a year in here."

Kekowa began to speak but Qui Lan hushed him "Let me speak. You are ready for my final lesson Kekowa. I saw your fight. Marvelous preformance, however you dont have the skil you need. Your strength and speed is amazing but your unarmed combat skills are sloppy at best. You need a style, one that you've always wanted. This is the only place that you can gain such skill. This technique is a passed down from father to son fpr nearly 2000 years. Unfortunitly the last master Died without an Heir so he came to the spirt world, that is why you are here. So he can train you." Qui Lan sipped a bit of tea "This technique is the most deadly killing art in all of martial arts, but can also be used for great good, depending on its weilder. You can shut down someones organs, heal injuries, and even insert your Chi into a opponet causing parts of their body to rupture. Are you ready Kekowa? Are you ready to learn the unbeatable Holy God Fist?"

Kekowa had a stern look on his face "Yes Seifu, I am."

Qui Lan waved his hand and a old man with a big wooden staff appeared.Qui Lan spoke to Kekowa "Now let us begin."

Kekowa got up embodied with new power. "Yes I can feel it in me. Thank you Master I wont forget this." Kekowa began to walk into the Arena when he got a txt message on his cell. He knew the number but it wasnt from anyone in the dorm.(*ominous*) HE read it. It was the details from the last fight and said that Dragon had won. "That is most excellent news, I most go congratulate Kagura!" Kekowa walked into the arena looking for Kagura but being told they left he wnet towards the Hotel then he spotted the group. "Hey Guys! Wahoo we are the Champions!"

I know he's one of Kekowa's masters, but I dont recall him before.

Unsaually tall Chinese monk that trained Kekowa. exact opposite of Kenkushu. He's kind, caring and has his stats nearly maxed in psyhic, magic, and Chi.

He wears a yellow robe with a Ying Yang symbol on the chest and has a very long ponytail.

Posted a seperated bio for him and Kenkushu. Been meaning to update KEkowa's bio for awhile. Sometime today for sure.

Slightly uncomfortable at Dean staring, Kagura hiked up an eyebrow, "A what?"

Quite oddly, Kagura only felt amusement, mildly exasperated amusement, but still amusment, "Indeed I do," and, quite unexpectedly, smiled with surprising warmth.

OOC: Yeah, Kagura has two settings "Glare" and "Stun"

And by "Stun" I mean "Stunning." Yeah, I can be smooth to kiddies :P

...I fail so hard. Although a good Dean/Kagura song would be "Paralyzer" by..umm...Nevermind.

IC: Her smile was contagious. Dean found himself smiling, and he had absolutely no idea why.

He also realized this was quite possibly the first time he'd seen Kagura smile, atleast at him. Even more surprising, was the fact that it seemed geniune. Kagura, with her glasses, just didnt strike Dean as the smiling type. It wasnt that she didnt have the face for it-If Dean had a camera, he probally would have insisted she take a picture with him, which he would prould hang on his wall- It just seemed almost foreign to her personality.

Yet here she way. Smiling. At him.

It was almost as if she was a completely different person without her glasses, at least in his mind.

Either way...

He took this as a sign she didnt find his existance completely intolorable.

"I'll say" He responded to her statement, reflexively. After a moment, he realized he was once more drifting in and out of focus, and attempted to focus on something other than Kagura, so that he might have a conversation in which she heard more than him 'ooing' and 'ahhing' in amazement.

...I fail so hard. Although a good Dean/Kagura song would be "Paralyzer" by..umm...Nevermind.

IC: Her smile was contagious. Dean found himself smiling, and he had absolutely no idea why.

He also realized this was quite possibly the first time he'd seen Kagura smile, atleast at him. Even more surprising, was the fact that it seemed geniune. Kagura, with her glasses, just didnt strike Dean as the smiling type. It wasnt that she didnt have the face for it-If Dean had a camera, he probally would have insisted she take a picture with him, which he would prould hang on his wall- It just seemed almost foreign to her personality.

Yet here she way. Smiling. At him.

It was almost as if she was a completely different person without her glasses, at least in his mind.

Either way...

He took this as a sign she didnt find his existance completely intolorable.

"I'll say" He responded to her statement, reflexively. After a moment, he realized he was once more drifting in and out of focus, and attempted to focus on something other than Kagura, so that he might have a conversation in which she heard more than him 'ooing' and 'ahhing' in amazement.

Well, I can kind of see why.

The actual *script* was kinda of poorly done. Alot of unneccesary words and phrases repeated over and over again, and the big boss in the end wasn't really foreshadowed much until the last 15 hours of the game.

But still, Will Freidel (Batman Beyond, Kim Possible, Boy Meets World) and Steven Blum (Cowboy Bebop, Big-O, Samurai Champloo) were teh main voice actors.

And you can't go wrong with Spike Speigal and Terry "The Tommorow Knight/Batman'' McGuiness's voices.

What are Dean's Break techniques, again? :confused:

Since my hand has been forced, due to unforseen circumstances, I must post some the Skills/Ideas I already had planned for Dean.

I've come up with a few ways to use Deans brute force, skill, and Shingan in an awesome way.I was going to just put them as pressure points, but now I'll just come up with an more awesome explination.

Dean learns how to target certain parts of the body, for certain effects.

Also, You all suck.

I'm not changing them because other people (I'm looking at you, Ghost and SK!) Had remotely similar plans.

Also, a cookie to whoever figures where I got the Idea from.

Mind Break-(Better name later)
Diminishes target's magic/Ki/psych Five stats at a time.-Explained by fucking up the Chakra flow, or something(I didnt have time to come up with my explination.)

Power Break(Better name later)-Diminishes target's Strength Five stats at a time-(Explanation later)

Speed Break-(Better name later)
Diminishes target's Speed level Five points at a time.(See Power)

Head/Armor/Shield/Weapon Break(Better name later)- Destroys targeted item. (Percentage of success, once again defined by you.) I dont think this occurs to legendary Items, or super duper magical ones. (I.E, Levis Staff, Deans sword)

All of these currently have a 20% Success rate. It Raises as Stats increase.

I didnt configure how many times each stat can be successfully targeted yet, obviously. It would be to haxx if I could spam someones 25 STR to Zero, obviously.

Thats the skinny. And no. He cant target Ki/Psych/Magic at the same time. Not that Haxx.

Dean's eyes widened in shock as the mans true visage was revealed. He looked less like a man, and more like a demon, promises of pain and suffering hidden in his eyes.

Any pretext of a civil conversation between Him, his dormates and Solarius vanished.

Dean knew when something was *really* bad when he saw it.

The pale orb flashed, and all the students in the room were sucked into a gaping white vortex.

The portal closed, the orb broke in half, and Solarius nodded.

"It's done, master."

With that, he and his minions attacking the Intructors also vanished.

And silence reigned.

Selma had felt the two slaps to her face, had heard the words she thought and spoke, and felt Natalie's warmth against her, and the small fist hitting her body. Selma's mind finally put it all together, and she did something unexpected...

She laughed.

Wrapping her arms around Natalie, she chuckled as she said "Na-Natalie, this has nothing to do with that shadow-wielding idiot, I promise! I was just saying that if you and Xellos got together, I hoped you would be happy. I never meant to imply you and Xellos were actually dating."

Finally calming, she blinked and looked at the crying Natalie and held her closer, calmly shushing her as she whispered "Calm down Natalie, it's OK. Please don't le-let my stu-stupid words hu-hurt you."

"Why is it all I'm able to do is hurt those around me I care about? I even hurt the very per-person I lo-love. I-I'm sorry Natalie, please don't let my stupid, inconsiderate words hurt you. "If that is your wish, then I will do it to the best of my ability!" Xing breathed slowly, trying to focus his chi into his legs.... but he couldn't. At first Xing was confused but remembered that he'd supposedly been possessed by a demon earlier.

Perhaps his energy was spent to the point that he could not manipulate it as well as he'd like That must've been the reason! Xing could not bear to think of any other rationale for this sudden developement.

Relaxing his thoughts, Xing decided to instead make a couple of light skips. Unfortunately, this resulted in the blanket he wore around himself falling off, something which he did not notice for until a few seconds after it happened!

"O--oh!" Xing gasped, immedaitely covering his nether-regions again as his face went red from the embarassment.

Hey Cleric, I decided to take the Break Percentages off, that okay with you?

It occurs to me, most things/people are so much faster than Dean, and have boosts or whatnot...

Well, Dean having a one in five chance of actually succeding in his techs and already usually having a slim chance of hitting the opponent....

Well, it just wouldnt be worth the five points they lose for it, assuming it ever hits, successfully.

The only exception would be the Armor/Weapon breaks which would still have a low chance of success. (20%, raising a bit with each stat boost)

Thoughts?

Obviously, I'll make it so that no stat can be damaged by more than five, or something.

I.E each stat can be targeted once.

Ramus and Hunter: A thud, followed by another one, greeted the jungle. Ramus, having fallen on Hunter, heard a quiet voice.

"Ramus, you're on my tail. You have three seconds to get off. 1, 2...."

Tamiko and Justin: Two thumps fell into the crystal clear blue waters around the deserted island. Tamiko and Justin, close by each other, were off the beach by about 100 feet.

Xing: A thump, and curse, is heard as Xing falls face first into a hard, brick like surface.

The Great Wall, partially finished, lays under his body.

Daichi and Ramon: The last portal dumps you back into a pre-historic jungle setting. A loud roar filled the area, alerting you to the presence of a nearby dinosuar.

Django, Wei Levi, and Julien: The three of you land face first into a moor area. The area is foggy, and damp.

Kekowa and Xellos: The two land face first into a large sand dune, then roll down said sand dune, sand flying everywhere.

Dean, Kagura, and Iilas: A thump, and Kagura finds herself laying on top of Dean, Iilas nearby. The three of them are on teh side of a large, grassy hill. The sky is an odd, amber color.

Kado and Chin: The two young boys find themselves in a shadowy forest, under the shade of several giant trees.

Henry, Sirius, and Peter: The portal deposts the three men onto a hard, cold surface. Said surface is on the side of a mountain, snow everywhere. A chll wind blows more of the freezing snow into their faces.

Rhia, Selma, Natalie, and Alexia: The four find themselves laying on their backs, starring up into a canopy of trees, the sun at it's zenith. The area around them is a dense, green forest.

Glancing about, Ilias noted that only he and Dean, along with--her name, what was it..?--were here, and no one else occupied their hill.

"Well, this is certainly interesting.

OOC: I realized something just now, Cleric. Ilias won't be able to reach any of his swords here. Thank god I had him carrying around Tenro.

How the hell did she end up on him, and where the fuck were they?

Last thing he remembered, Solarius had done something involving a white orb. Apparently he sent them off to some random location.

Part of Dean considered thanking him. Then he remembered he didnt like Solarius very much, and intended on killing him eventually.

His focus drifting back to Kagura,Dean decided to handle this delicate situation with the utmost dignity and respect.

Ilias was about to comment on their situation, when suddenly. .

A loud explosion shook the earth, sending the three stumbling.

A flaming saucer looking machine, about 60 feet in diameter, flamed across the sky and crashed into the nearby hill.

Regaining himself quickly, Ilias idly slapped aside some debris that the result crash threw into the air with the flat of Tenro's blade, checking on his companions in his peripheral vision to make sure they had been unfortunate enough to twist their ankles or some other embarassing accident, before voicing his thoughts aloud.

"You know, this is one of those situations where I'm tempted to go investigate, but know that nothing good can come of it."

Her head hurt, her back spiked with pain, and she felt like something had broiled her all over. Nothing in her head except for the grogginess and chittering of cicadas.

Natalie had been frozen in the face of Tamiko's corrupter, unable to do anything. The backlash from her spat with Selma still rang near her heart. With all that emotional fracas, she didn't really have much to say.

OOC: Hmm. He's been gone for 27 and a half hour now. Clearly, there are only two explanations:

1 - He's lost access to the internet.

2 - before he could log on, a gang of bank robbers took him hostage. The police gave chase. They managed to shake them, but he caused the car to crash. When he came to, he'd lost his memory. An ex-con picked him up, mistook him for a fugitive, and shipped him to Istanbul. There he met some Afghan raiders who talked him into stealing some Russian warheads. But their truck hit a mine in Tajikistan. He survived, took to the hills and became a Mujaheddin.

Personally, I'm not sure its worth it getting upset over guy who'll spend the rest of his days eating borscht wearing a hat shaped like a tea cozy.

Selma stared at the door, shock and horror overtaking her. She had truly lost her chance to be with Natalie. All because of her stupid, stupid self. Pulling her knees to her chest, she rested her forehead against them and began sobbing silently.

Selma's head snapped up, and looking next to her she saw that it was none other than Maxwell himself, smiling at her.

"Go away." Selma said, glaring at him.

"Why? So you can sit here and cry alone about how stupid you really are?" Maxwell asked. But instead of answering, Selma merely stood to her feet and walked out the door after Natalie, slamming the door after her as well.

Maxwell merely blinked at the door before smirking and leaning back against the wall.
