School House Rumble, Part 1: Arcadia, school of Old

Justin nodded. "Alright, no problem" he said as he held his hand over the ruin as Tamiko instructed.

Tamiko recast the spell, then placed her right hand on top of Justin's hands. Soon, all three hands were glowing, though the glow from his hands was several shades darker than hers. "If it feels strange, don't let it throw you. Stay relaxed and follow my lead." She then guided his hands over her arm, focusing and filtering her magic through him.

Luckily, it worked and she could feel her arm mending. As soon as it had healed enough, she cancelled out the spell and motioned for Justin to drop his hands. "I think that worked, well enough for now. Thank you." She then gave Justin a peck on the cheek and stood up.

Looking over at Julien, Tamiko walks over to him, "Excuse me, Julien? Are you sure you don't need my help healing your injuries? It's not safe to fight injured like that."

The two silver blades cut through the dust like silver rays of deadly light, searching for their target. "Such reckless skill" Kelly scoffed as his grip tighten on the handle of his dagger. Kelly began to thrust the dagger in quick back and forth motions, picking up speed as he did so.

"100 Blade" Strom Kelly laughed as he began thrusting at incredible speed, making it look like a one hundred swords were coming right at Kekowa.

Tamiko smirked at his attitude, unsure if she should like it or not. Still, she wasn't fazed by it, in fact Julien kind of reminded her of her brother, in some ways. "I'll need to get close to heal you." Tamiko quickly made the hand signs for the healing spell, and now both of her hands were glowing pale blue. Raising up her hands, "This shouldn't take too long."

"Those weapons that you were throwing at Hilda, can they be wielded? By someone else I mean."

Kekowa got up hand clutching his wound, and started to make his way to the infermary. I have been given a gift this day, I must utilize it. He will tourture me but I can endure it. I will, this will give me the power I desire to be the very best

OOC: Eh, Deans reaction to Kekowa liking Kagura, is directly releated to how much success Dean has.

If his whole relationship with her, is nothing but him trying-and failing- to gain her affection, and Keko liked her, I think he'd just be all like "Well, fuck."

If he's still failing by the time of the world tourney, he'd probally think life sucks for Diana, and go right back to his primary goal.

Keep in mind Dean *likes* Kagura. He's not in "I MUST MARRY HER!!" mode or anything. He'd be dissapointed slightly, but still.

Dean dosnt dwell on these kinds of things longer than necessary. Even so, I cant see Dean kicking down the Keko's door, challanging him to a duel.

He'd just shrug and deal with it, after some kinda reflection. He hasnt made nearly enough progress with kagura to push his buttons. Besides, he'd take it in stride like Lee or Naruto.

And of course I took the title of the strongest out of RK! It's awesome!

As for Goals....Deans goals are to gain greater power and Find Old Nevada, basically.

The light in Jon's eyes shone brighter as he saw Xing's blade. Any reservations he had about dueling Xing, as well as Dean, Ilias, and anyone else who happened to be in the room, vanished out from his mind.

It was almost as if he lost control of himself in the moment, forgetting that he didnt actually come here to to fight-atleast not at the moment.

Actually, it wasnt as if he almost lost control. He did lose control. Jon, as he was now, was constantly on edge, his desire for violence and bloodlust, held at bay only by his self control.

Even as he was, it took something special to give into his desires.

Xing, as it turned out, more than met the requirements.

Jon didnt give Xing an answer, not verbally anyways.

He smiled a smile deeper than darkness, before dashing at Xing, intent on rendering him asunder, with his bare hands.

As Jon moved in to attack, Dean looked on, dumbfounded.

'Xing', or rather, The Healer, was no fool. He already knew what Jon's intentions were seconds before the Wolf Dorm Member even took his first steps towards him. Nonetheless, The Healer knew how to deal with this. A simple defensive maneuver that would leave Jon open for a counterattack.... or allow 'Xing' to get out of the way of striking distance.

It took one second to unsheath the Dao, and another for 'Xing' the processes to the first stage of the defensive technique. Spinning on one leg, 'Xing' would make a 180 degree turn, flipping the Dao onto his back to defend against the first strike.... That was the plan anyway.

It happened at a speed few could comprehend, and even then, none would probably have noticed the subtle change. The Darkness could no longer abide its restraints and it broke free its dark battle aura flaring like unquenchable flames. What would've been a 180 degree spin would develope into a full 360 one, and where The Healer would've put all his effort in placing the Dao on his back, the dark entity would allow it to carry on it's circular path, swinging it into a deadly arc.

And, as the body of Xing turned to face Jon, everyone could see. Even those whose eyes were not directly on the scene, even those who had the littlest knowledge of chi, all could see that the face which Xing wore was not that of a man, but that of what could only be described as a demon.

With a chilling screech, 'Xing' swept his Dao across, his only attention being to cleave Jon in half.

The Healer had no idea how or when he was able to take enough control to be able to control Xing's body again. Perhaps it was the sudden stop of the blade upon Levi's staff, or it may in fact have been the dangerous aura radiating from the Dragon Dorm captain.

Nonetheless, The Healer reacted quickly, raising Xing's arm to catch Levi's fist. That Xing, to begin with, was Levi's physical inferior did proove to be quite to The Healer's disadvantage. Though he did succeed in catching the blow, he could still feel the impact of it. There'd be no lasting damage, luckily enough, but it did nearly cause him to lose his footing.

OOC: *nod* Those two would crush you.... physically and mentally. Actually, a 'Battle of The Wits' (Bitching Contest) between Jon, Xing and Kelly would make my day.



'Xing', or rather, The Healer, was no fool. He already knew what Jon's intentions were seconds before the Wolf Dorm Member even took his first steps towards him. Nonetheless, The Healer knew how to deal with this. A simple defensive maneuver that would leave Jon open for a counterattack.... or allow 'Xing' to get out of the way of striking distance.

It took one second to unsheath the Dao, and another for 'Xing' the processes to the first stage of the defensive technique. Spinning on one leg, 'Xing' would make a 180 degree turn, flipping the Dao onto his back to defend against the first strike.... That was the plan anyway.

It happened at a speed few could comprehend, and even then, none would probably have noticed the subtle change. The Darkness could no longer abide its restraints and it broke free its dark battle aura flaring like unquenchable flames. What would've been a 180 degree spin would develope into a full 360 one, and where The Healer would've put all his effort in placing the Dao on his back, the dark entity would allow it to carry on it's circular path, swinging it into a deadly arc.

And, as the body of Xing turned to face Jon, everyone could see. Even those whose eyes were not directly on the scene, even those who had the littlest knowledge of chi, all could see that the face which Xing wore was not that of a man, but that of what could only be described as a demon.

With a chilling screech, 'Xing' swept his Dao across, his only attention being to cleave Jon in half.

OOC: I sense a disturbance in the Force! :eek:

While training with Chiaki, a great sense of unease fell over Kagura causing her concentration to falter.

Frowning she rose and tried to find the source of it.

[Inverse Genesis]

The light in Jon's eyes shone brighter as he saw Xing's blade. Any reservations he had about dueling Xing, as well as Dean, Ilias, and anyone else who happened to be in the room, vanished out from his mind.

It was almost as if he lost control of himself in the moment, forgetting that he didnt actually come here to to fight-atleast not at the moment.

Actually, it wasnt as if he almost lost control. He did lose control. Jon, as he was now, was constantly on edge, his desire for violence and bloodlust, held at bay only by his self control.

Even as he was, it took something special to give into his desires.

Xing, as it turned out, more than met the requirements.

Jon didnt give Xing an answer, not verbally anyways.

He smiled a smile deeper than darkness, before dashing at Xing, intent on rendering him asunder, with his bare hands.


As Jon moved in to attack, Dean looked on, dumbfounded.

To say that Ilias wasn't suprised at this turn of events would be a bit of an understatement. Jon wasn't ever one of great restrain, and he seemed closer to violence than Ilias could ever recall. What to do in response to Jon's intent to maim was, really, very simple. It was very good that he had begun materializing a sword minutes ago.

Ilias stopped him cold with the flat of his long sword, a hand on the blade to steady it.

Jon was, honestly, very predictable in his movements. It was easy to judge just how to stop his hands,just where Ilias needed to place his feet to stop Jon's momentum. It was a strain, even then, though. Jon was very strong, and always had been, and Ilias could feel some of his muscles screaming.

He didn't bother speaking, and simply stared very hard into Jon's eyes--crazed eyes, that bespoke of something very, very wrong. These eyes held murder in their depths.

The Healer had no idea how or when he was able to take enough control to be able to control Xing's body again. Perhaps it was the sudden stop of the blade upon Levi's staff, or it may in fact have been the dangerous aura radiating from the Dragon Dorm captain.

Nonetheless, The Healer reacted quickly, raising Xing's arm to catch Levi's fist. That Xing, to begin with, was Levi's physical inferior did proove to be quite to The Healer's disadvantage. Though he did succeed in catching the blow, he could still feel the impact of it. There'd be no lasting damage, luckily enough, but it did nearly cause him to lose his footing.

"However, in reality, you find a way to get an undetected message to Operative XIII telling him to frame someone else with his identity. Once the false evidence is in place, Operative XIII 'finds him out' and kills him before he can 'get away'."

"While he would have to lie low after that to create a convincing after-effect, he would likely be promoted and be in a prime position for later operations. KRIEG takes me further into their trust, and the gambit proceeds."

He touched the tips of his fingers together and looked to the rooms' occupants.

"Does anybody see a flaw at this point? Or a better solution?"

Kiran considered this. "You do realise," he said, "that KRIEG doesn't expect you to deliver any tangible results immediately? As far as they are concerned, Operative XIII is just a phantom, a shadow in the corner of their eye. What they want from you is confirmation that he is real." He gave Xellos a serious look. ""You must understand, getting a spy into KRIEG in the first place was incredibly difficult. The only reason it was possible at all was because they themselves considered it an impossibility. If we offer them too much now, it will only arouse suspicion and put you in mortal danger."

"For that matter, Operative XIII is not currently in a position where 'lying low' is an alternative. "

To say that Ilias wasn't suprised at this turn of events would be a bit of an understatement. Jon wasn't ever one of great restrain, and he seemed closer to violence than Ilias could ever recall. What to do in response to Jon's intent to maim was, really, very simple. It was very good that he had begun materializing a sword minutes ago.

Ilias stopped him cold with the flat of his long sword, a hand on the blade to steady it.

Jon was, honestly, very predictable in his movements. It was easy to judge just how to stop his hands,just where Ilias needed to place his feet to stop Jon's momentum. It was a strain, even then, though. Jon was very strong, and always had been, and Ilias could feel some of his muscles screaming.

He didn't bother speaking, and simply stared very hard into Jon's eyes--crazed eyes, that bespoke of something very, very wrong. These eyes held murder in their depths.

"He may not have the will to harm a comrade, but I have no such hesitation."

"Stay out of my way, Ilias." Jon growled. Once Jon decided to do something, he wasnt the type of guy who changed his mind easily.

And he certainly wasnt the type of person who liked being interrupted .

He seemed distracted, as if he heard-as if he was listening to- something. "God damnit." He growled, jumping backwards, away from Ilias.

"You and your friends got lucky." Jon turned, walking for the door. He looked at Xing, and Dean. "It wont happen again." Jon appeared to still be in the room, just for a second. Not a second later, his image dissapeared.

Meanwhile, the original created several fire bombs and layed them throughout the area near Leena. Setting traps incase she should try to outrun the clones.

"Finally..." Nihil started to chuckle. "Finally! Finally!" The chuckle grew into a laughter; the loud, cackling laughter of a lunatic. He put his hand on his sword, and rasied the other to the skies. "The Scion of Rohana will finally die at my hand, and the world will know the glory of my triumph! Come, Sesqui! We must gather the others!" He grinned, and madness shone in his eyes. "There's work to be done!"

Then The Healer thought about his last words, and thought that they maybe were not the best choice. Certainly, masking his identity would be a moot point now due to the scene he'd made earlier, but it was only a small measure of doubt of which he was confident he could dispel if he could play his cards right.

Sighing, 'Xing' said, "Listen Dean. I suppose I'll need to be honest with you. Things have been quite.... well, very stressful as of rate. Perhaps I'm not quite as used to this entire idea as I'd have liked. That I've let my temper get the best of me is inexcusable."

Then he said, "But, I suppose that rather than moan about this, perhaps we should go see the current match. At the least I would like to see my chances of survival."

Saying nothing more, 'Xing' walked away, heading into the main arena.

A black maelstrom gatehred and began pushing aganist Tamiko and Justin's, neither moving the other now.

Tamiko's eyes, one blue the other red, stared into Leen'a black eyes. As she did so, Tamiko's twin-headed dragon spear appeared overhead and flew over and around the winds towards the Vice-Captain. It headed straight towards Leena's staff, attacking it. As the spear flew, Tamiko continued to strengthen her magical winds.

Xing hardly seemed phased by the expression on his 'friend's' face. Truth be told, he didn't even seem as if he were paying that much attention at all.

"What did you expect me to do?" Xing said, looking to the exit, "The man clearly was not going to stand aside unless someone stopped him. Or would you rather have me come to a shorter end than I would've liked?"

Then The Healer thought about his last words, and thought that they maybe were not the best choice. Certainly, masking his identity would be a moot point now due to the scene he'd made earlier, but it was only a small measure of doubt of which he was confident he could dispel if he could play his cards right.

Sighing, 'Xing' said, "Listen Dean. I suppose I'll need to be honest with you. Things have been quite.... well, very stressful as of rate. Perhaps I'm not quite as used to this entire idea as I'd have liked. That I've let my temper get the best of me is inexcusable."

Then he said, "But, I suppose that rather than moan about this, perhaps we should go see the current match. At the least I would like to see my chances of survival."

Saying nothing more, 'Xing' walked away, heading into the main arena.

As Dean watched Xing walk away, he still couldnt help but feel that something was off. Then again, he didnt recall seeing him stressed out before. Different people handled things different ways, and apparently, Xing had a horrible way to manage stress.

Atrocious, way to handle stress, actually. Jon may have instigated the problem, but Xing's presence didnt serve to pacify the situation, only to make thing worse. Hell, he was pratically inviting Jon to start trouble, which was odd. Xing was usually a calming element, but this time... It seemed as if he was poised to snap.

"I thought you wanted a light sparring match?" Samuel asked, Selma nodding as she said "I do... It's just... I betrayed someone."

"Who did you betray?" Samuel asked, Selma looking up as she said "Xellos, a... person that I know."

Samuel gave a knowing nod as he said "The cafeteria incident." Selma raised an eyebrow as she asked "How do you know THAT?"

"Well, I heard it from Kelly, who heard it from Anselm, who in turn heard it from Jinmu, who had heard it from Ruman, who originally heard it from Charlotte, who witnessed the event." Samuel said, causing Selma's jaw to drop.

"And in my opinion, I believe you did the right thing. There are some people that you should be wary, and a guy who drugs, knocks out, and freezes innocent girls is on the top of that list." Samuel said, Selma nodding silently.

Julien nodded and then disappeared. He reappeared behind leena's abrrier and began pelting it with mach 2 sonic booms, vacum blades, ect..., raining everything down on it.

Provided her magic isn't vastly more powerful then mine, anyway, she added to herself. Django had informed her that Void Sorcery wouldn't work as well on powerful opponents, and she now realized she had no idea how strong she was compared to "real" magicians.

But it was too late to wonder about that now. The battle was about to start. Rhia readied herself.

His hands slipped into the opposite sleeves of his cheongsam as he watched the fight. For some reason, Levi felt an awkward sensation that someone was close, very close. That was until he noticed the ghost-like figure of Sun Wukong who was, well...drooling.

"That's one's a super hottie!"

"I thought you had...'staffy business' to attend to?"

"Uh...well, I'm takin' a break, that's right." The Monkey King and spirit of his staff replied.

Levi wasn't quite sure if anyone else could see the ghostly figure besides the former monk as Sun Wukong attempted to get a 'closer' look at Leena without going in the ring, so for the sake of not looking insane, Levi kept quiet.

Leen'as green barrier snapped up again, only this time, a rotating blue sphere also surrounded her, lifting her off the ground and into the air.

Henry raised an eyebrow and put up his own Psychic barrier to protect himself as well as extending his field of Psychic energy in case she was to fast for him to follow by eye.

Having done all that, Henry floated a few in the air and pulled her staff with his Telekinesis, hoping her barrier would drop if the Staff left her hands.

Sirus meanwhile stayed back with Django and charged a lightning cannon while. "Whats the plan big guy?" he asked Django.

"Norn looks really strong this year" Wilks noted as the took another match from Dragon. The mercenary looked over Leena as she stood in the ring, ready for her next opponents.

"She belongs in the pro league" Jason added with amazement. "She would make a killing"

Matsumoto continued to look on intently, not saying a word as he did so.

"I hope that Dragon has a plan to deal with this" Robert said to himself.

"Ah, what a bunch a little pussy's" Willy spat. "Just take her out, and be done with it"


Kelly watched as Rhia, Django, Sirius, and Henry took the field to face down Leena. "This could turn ugly" he said as he watched the four take their places. "If we don't win this round, we mite as well pack up, and leave" he said as he turned his attention to Bloodmoon. "How bad are they?" he asked the healer.

Sing's attention was on Leena too, her Aura is strong. Perhaps too strong, despite how she carries on and her appearance her fighting skills are astonishing

His Spirit Awareness began to kick in, he can feel a ghostly presence amoung the stadium but he decided that he shouldn't be too concerned about it and make sure that Chin not only enjoys but learn from what he is witnessing today

Sirus fired his Lightning Cannon at the angel, entwining it with Rhia's thunderstorm cannon.

Meanwhile Henry moaned "Distractions, distractions..." he said with a frown. "My TK can't get through her barrier..perhaps telepathy can." he said to himself as he focussed and attempted to Mind Crush Leena. Needing 3-5 seconds of full concentration before launching.

The Blind Angel turned, and with a wave of her hand, sent a wave of light that neutralized the Thunderstorm Cannon.

"Okay," Rhia said. "Let's try a more hand's on approach!"

She ran and lept, attacking the Blind Angel with a flying kick. "YAAAH!"

Django cut through the flames, and Rhia's flying kick was caught by the Blind Angel. Smiling serenely, the Angel threw Rhia away.

"Maybe she could summon up that angel too, have a little...'party', with just the three of us, ya know?" The monkey god said, nudging Levi with a transparent elbow.

Underneath the entranceway arena, a strange looking man wearing a red, and black suite sunglasses, and a pair of "bullhorns" sticking out of his black hair. The large man crossed his arms as he continued to watch the finals between Norn, and Dragon.

In the other end of the arena a man dressed in a fine tailored suite, dragon scale shoes, and sunglasses watched the fight just like the fist man. He also showed no emotion, and watched the match with out pause. Both men were sent here to see who would come out on top, and who would make their way towards the world tournament

A magic pulse deflecetd the two attacks. Another pulse threw the two fighters back aswell.

Rather then being thrown to the ground, this time Rhia managed to keep on her feet. "Dammit!" she swore and attacked the barrier again with all the strength and speed she could muster.

'These Norn girls are all nigh impossible to beat...oh well, all I have to do is hold out for Sirus and hope that it works.'

Sirus continued running around, avoiding attacks and fired a few lightning cannons at the angel before running up close, hugging her leg and charged up his other spell. "Paralyzer!!!"

The pulse, being litearlly a foot away, blasted the princess clear out of the arena and into the stadium wall.
