He moves differently than before.

'Xing' turned his eyes to look at Ilias. Indeed, there was something sinister about them, but for the moment, it would seem as if they were regarding him in pleasent amusement.

Heh heh heh, perhaps he's seeing through us, like that Levi child from before. Well, I'd admit, the lot of them would be pretty foolish if they weren't the least bit suspicious. But your influence, it could possibly make me reveal myself too soon but..... Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, this is just far too amusing.

In the back of his mind, Dean found it surprising that he hadnt seen him since before his matches began. Dean figured he was just preoccupied, training for his match.

Jon spoke once more, louder. "If I needed advice on how to treat my "Friends", I'd go find a fucking book."



Jon grinned once more, his teeth bared, almost as if he were a dog; no, a wolf.

He laughed loudly, his voice sounding cold. Dean couldnt help but shiver as he heard it.

Dean:...What the fuck is this guys problem?! He seems so much more....Angry.Hateful.

"That's nice." Jon said, still grinning. " I'll destroy you, I'll destroy Dean..." He glanced over to Xing, furious he would presume to tell him how to function.

"And I'll destroy you for....I just dont like you." He glanced around the room.

"And I dont mean just physically."

Glancing aside at Jon again, Ilias couldn't help but feel a little relief. That certainly sounded like the Jon he knew. Quite spirited. Always had been, really.

The Xing he had met, though only briefly, in the infirmary, had a hesitance to him, but also a cheerfulness; he held himself with his sohulders slightly forward, and his muscles were in the state between relaxed and tense that many Martial Artist gain, an "awareness" of their body that they always held, if only subconsciously.

Smoothly relaxing his face into a genial smile, Ilias said, "Not at all. In fact, we were just trying to get Jon to relax ourselves. Jon's just a little shy around people he doesn't know well."

"And my name's Li---n Xing. My name is Lin Xing, and at the risk of hearing that scathing voice again, I'd ask that you consumate this formal introduction by telling me yours."

Jon grinned once more, his teeth bared, almost as if he were a dog; no, a wolf.

He laughed loudly, his voice sounding cold. Dean couldnt help but shiver as he heard it.

Strangely Levi didn't seem disturbed about the thrown threats or even Xing's change in personality; then again he had already discovered the latter. No, instead he continued to rinse out his mouth, which was now thankfully more clear than red.

He is a truely good person, shy, careing. The best heart out of all of them. So I suppose war may not be certain. Its just, I shouldnt have to burden him with that. Even if he succeeds blood will spill on the streets, blood that shouldnt be spilt." Kekowa sighed "Why must those we care about suffer needlessly?"

As Dean heard Ilias's explination of Jon and his actions, he considered pointing out that any shyness Jon had ( which was miniscule, at best) had apparently vanished, seeing as how he had decided he decided to declare a one man war on....

It was as if he wished to provoke a battle, which was against his very nature. Deans battle with him had given him a clear understanding of his friend, and he knew that to act in such a callous manner...

Well, It just didnt add up.

Dean didnt know what was wrong, but he kept silent, waiting for a better time. Jon was Volitile enough, and it wasnt the time for Dean to ask Xing about his feelings.

Jon, by contrast, was not so calm: "A dog?" Jon glared at Xing, fury in both his voice, and eyes. Jon Grey was no dog, no pet. He refused to be contained, or controlled. And to call him such a thing...

Yet, amazingly, he didnt come to blows.

"You should show more respect to your superiors. I'll crush you soon enough. Dont rush yourself to an early grave." He said, snarling.

Jon: How dare a weakling like that, talk down to me. He has no right to even lick the grime off my heel. I'll show him...No, I'll show them all, soon enough...With the power I've gained...

He barked out a laugh, a feverish, gleeful noise, almost inhuman. "Looks like you've actually got some brains, behind that goofy appearance of yours. I'm in no hurry to crush bugs."

As he turned to finish his declartion to both Dean and Ilias, he stoped, as is something was bothering him.

"Why are you here, anyways? Our Business has nothing to do with you."

"Levi, I didn't notice you there!" Xing laughed as he approached the Dragon Dorm captain, patting him on his back, "But whoever beat you up must've been someone quite amazing!"

Chuckling softly, Xing leaned in a little closer, and whispered, "And judging from the lack of direct confrontation, it seems I'll have to thank you for not informing them about my identity. Glad to see that at least somewhere here has brains."

For one, it was difficult enough controlling the one thing that provided a link between himself and the he had in his possession. That he was involving himself in a situation that was practically bait to that link was making things all that much harder.

It was as Levi said, he wasn't acting enough like Xing, that was true. But it was only because of the Dark Link between them, that wished for some measure of control of it's own. It was influincing his actions, turning what was intended to be childish amusement into bitter sarcasm. Bringing to darkness to the light. Nurturing hatred..... Creating disorder.

Tamiko threw up a shield to protect the three of them, then cast a holding spell on Hilda. The holding spell was like a giant, invisable hand holding her in place. "Long range attacks."

He let out a Sonic Scream at the ground below Hilda's feet and blew the ground out from under her. Knocking her completely off balance.

Justin quickly then created three razor sharp shadow shurikens and threw them at Hilda's torso.

Then Julien remembered what he had overheared at the medical station.

Hilda then punched the ground, sending shockwaves that knocked Julien off balance enough for Hilda's own speed to allow her to get over and grab him. She then spun him around, alsmmed him into the arena floor, and then threw him away.

She then flung him into Justin, sending them both out of the arena in a tangled mess. Hilda turned and smirked at Tamiko. She then did a backflip kick, sending a shockwave/vacum blade towards Tamiko.

Suddenly Kekowa realised she had a point "No, they have their own strength. I had forgotten that I do have supporters. I had appointed Koko to lead "The Boys" when I talked to him. Even if he succeeds blood will spill on the streets, blood that shouldnt be spilt." Kekowa sighed "Why must those we care about suffer needlessly?"

In her left hand, she held Tamiko's spear, pulsing with psychic energy. She smiled, and the arena trembled from her energy. She then crushed the spear in her hands.

"Well done, but the truth of the matter is that I never needed those guantlets. They were, in fact, nothing more then distractions that made you focus your energies needlessly on them, leaving the rest of me free of damage for the most part. A clever ruse, for the most part."

With that, she stomped on the arena, sending a shockwave that unbalanced Julien enough for Hilda to grab him by his arm and break it. She then flung him into Justin, sending them both out of the arena in a tangled mess. Hilda turned and smirked at Tamiko. She then did a backflip kick, sending a shockwave/vacum blade towards Tamiko.

Without much emotion, Tamiko threw up a shield and dispersed the vacum blades. Tamiko summoned her Dragon's Claw, adding the poison magic to it. Tamiko teleported to just behind Hilda, slashing her back with the poison claws, then teleporting to another part of the arena, still floating in the air.

Hilda spun and took the assualt of the Gremlins, smacking them away and killing them in droves. When teh final one died, Julien suddenly atatcked, moving far faster then she could, he began striking the guantlet, cracking it even more. Julien suddenly spun away as Tamiko attacked.

When it finally settled, Hilda could be seen still standing, her right gauntlet destroyed and the gems returned to the other two Norns who had yet to fight. Even if he succeeds blood will spill on the streets, blood that shouldnt be spilt." Kekowa sighed "Why must those we care about suffer needlessly?"

Great heat began to build up around him as the venom was no longer paining him but was spreading his entire body. If anyone could see it, it was glowing a bright blue.

Two large wooden doors with a two female angles carved into them swung open, letting a young women with blonde hair, red blazer with skirt, and a pair of black glasses over her blue into a massive office. The heels of her red shoes gently tapped off the golden marble floors as she strode in, taking care not to more noise then she needed to. She finally came to a stop right on top a black pentagram painted right onto the marble.

Just a few feet in front of her was a large desk made out of blue elf wood, with a platinum trim running over its edges and corners. On top of the desk, a group of pictured surrounded a stack of papers on both sides. A gold pen was placed right on top of them. Just past it, a large, and finely made back of a leather chair was facing her, right in front of a massive window over looking the beautiful city of Milan. A hand holding a Cuban cigar jutted out from the side of the chair as smoke gently emitted from the tip of it.

"Scusarme Gambion di Signore" her voice asked in a respective tone. Her voice echoing off the massive walls of the office.

"Si?" a baritone voice asked from

"The preparations for the World Tournament have already been made" she said.

"Eccellente" the voice responded. "Make sure that the stations are set before we get there" the voice commanded.

"As you wish" she bowed. The women quickly turned around, and walked out of the office.

"This should prove to be an interesting event" the voice said as he took another puff of his cigar. "Can't wait to see what it will happen this year"

IC:Justin breathing heavy and startled as he saw Hilda standing almost unbothered by the attack. "W-" suddenly he was punched and sent rolling across the ground.

Getting back up again, small black flames began to sprout from his back and began to grow. The flames were damaging him but causing no real pain and the pain of his broken ribs seem to be leaving as well. As the flames grew, Justin rushed Hilda faster then before.

He then powered the Fire Tornado in his right and as it was engulfed in the black flame and unleashed at Hilda's cracked gauntlet and armor.

As soon as she broke Tamiko's arm, she felt the backlash of pain, multiplied by 2x, in her own body. The effect had the desired result of distracting her long enough for Tamiko to make another attack, swiping at her arm, looking for a vulnable spot.

The Fire Tornado and Water Cannon merged together and formed the Duel Technique: Tornado Cannon once again. The attack plowed right into Hilda and blew her back, out of the arena, and into the stadium wall.

An explosion the size of a small house eruptedf rom the attack, and a dust cloud filled the stadium. Once the dust settled, Hilda could be seen still standing, scratches covering her arms, legs, torso and chest. Her armor was gone, her body slightly singed, and her face dirty. Yet still, she remained standing.


However, the ten count was against her and she didn't make it back into the arena in time, though she was still in a good enough condition to fight.

"Tamiko, Justin, and Julien of Dragon win!"

Hilda got back into the arena, her wounds superficial.

"Congratulations, Dragons, you bested me by the ruels of the tournament. May you continue to fight with honor and cleverness."


She then bowed to them and left the arena.



"We will now replce the arena floor, yet again, before the next fight. Fighters Tamiko, Justin, and Julien cannot leave the arena.", the announcer said as magic began repairing the ruined arena.

Though Hilda's arm didn't break, it did feel like it had. This allowed Tamiko to claw at her armor, breaking the rest of it off.




The dirt, obviously didn'y hurt Hilda, but it did blind her momentarily.

This allowed Justin and Tamiko to attack.






The Fire Tornado and Water Cannon merged together and formed the Duel Technique: Tornado Cannon once again. The attack plowed right into Hilda and blew her back, out of the arena, and into the stadium wall.

An explosion the size of a small house eruptedf rom the attack, and a dust cloud filled the stadium. Once the dust settled, Hilda could be seen still standing, scratches covering her arms, legs, torso and chest. Her armor was gone, her body slightly singed, and her face dirty. Yet still, she remained standing.


However, the ten count was against her and she didn't make it back into the arena in time, though she was still in a good enough condition to fight.

"Tamiko, Justin, and Julien of Dragon win!"

Hilda got back into the arena, her wounds superficial.

"Congratulations, Dragons, you bested me by the ruels of the tournament. May you continue to fight with honor and cleverness."


She then bowed to them and left the arena.



"We will now replce the arena floor, yet again, before the next fight. Fighters Tamiko, Justin, and Julien cannot leave the arena.", the announcer said as magic began repairing the ruined arena.

Tamiko's appearance returned to normal, as she collapsed on the floor as if to catch her breath. Her arm, still broken, now hurt like hell and she wasn't sure that she could heal it herself.
