"For now, we want you to use your good relations with the Khandian royals to try to find out who Operative XIII is." He shrugged. "It won't be easy, of course, but we have great faith in your skills."

IC: Dean felt nothing as Hilda finished him. His bones were already broken, his blood littered the arena floor. He could no longer feel pain, or anything, for that matter.

All he saw as he was attacked, was a flash of white.

He didnt move, and barely even breathed, until ruman had been kind enough to revitalize him.

As she healed him, he could feel his injuries subsiding. His ribs, no longer broken, his skull, no longer fractured, his wrist, and arms, no longer shattered.

When she finished, he took a deep breath, and slowly crawled to his feet, his vision blurry.

"Fuck." he said, wearily summoning his knife back to his sheathe. "looks like I lost."

He glanced towards Levi and Alexia, curious to see how they were holding up.

Or rather he attempted to, but he had no idea who they were. All he could see was shapes of people, with no notable features.

"...... Damn, that bitch must have hit me harder than I thought." he said, dropping on his ass, rubbing his eyes.

Despite being magically healed, Levi's right leg where his kneecap had just been shattered moment ago couldn't help but limp from the phantom pain. From the various puddles of blood that he had shed today, he picked up his glasses and with one part of his cheongsam that wasn't stained with blood, he cleaned the lenses off before slipping them back on.

Glancing over to Dean and Alexia, Levi spoke to Dean first, "If she is any sign of what is the come for your abilities, then I'll will may sure to avoid angering you." He said with a small smile. Unfortunately, others had to face Hilda next and though Dean's and his efforts had managed to destroy one gauntlet and heavily damage another, they had yet to only wound the woman through Dean's Elven dagger.

None of us, I'm sure, would do anything that'd bring harm to another, without good reason. And even so, I doubt Xellos would be so petty as to spread ill words of you. And even under the impossible circumstances that he did...."

True, looking at it bluntly, you may have done some wrong to Xellos, but as long as you've done nothing to actually physically harm him, there's no reason we should drive you away. Tamiko sit sdown again and looks to Kado and Justin, "Their badly hurt, but they'll be okay. Dr. Ruman is fixing them up now."

Slowly looking back towards the arena, Kado looks at Hilda and the damage she has done to fight ring. His gaze then returns to hers, Carefully trying to get a reading on her, curious to see if he could figure out her weaknesses.

Tamiko turns to Justin, "What do you think of this Norn? Is she all strength? Or does she have any other tricks up her sleave?"

Sorry, I thought maybe Ike would have a different syle of attack/power then Alexia, so I just rolled with that. An no genjutsu powers. She just created an after image with her ki. Hilda attacked teh image, it was "telported away" when it actually just vanished.


Besides, the ki thing wern't named attacks, just little thngs meant to keep Hilda at bay.

Sorry, I thought maybe Ike would have a different syle of attack/power then Alexia, so I just rolled with that. An no genjutsu powers. She just created a kage bunshin with her basic magic and tricked Hilda into thinking that was the real Ike.

Besides, the ki thing wern't named attacks, just little thngs meant to keep Hilda at bay.

Rhia burst into the infirmary and ran up to Ike's bed. "Lex!" she said with a look of concern on her face. "How are you doing?"

Ike's thoughts were interrupted by Rhia bursting in. Of course, she remembered that her Lexie had already introduced that girl to her. Now, if only she could remember her name.....

"Hey, keep it down. That girl busted my ribs up, and my shoulder's dislocated or something." Ike looked a bit grumpy at this point.

"Lexie's been out cold since that little girl blasted her. I'm in control now, until she wakes up."

At about the same time, Quince came running up to them. "Hey, who was that guy? He seemed familiar, somehow."

Lenny was reeling badly from Natalie's psychic attacks and the pain of Kekowas' nodachi sticking into him. Furthermore, the fishbowl had cut off his air supply. No matter how well he coul take a blow...he still needed AIR!

He tried to swat that annoying boy from his head, hoping to break the bowl with the same blow.

Xellos had been standing on just above and in front of the giant ninjas' face, and flipped off at the last instant. Thus, the blow came at such an angle as to shatter the bowl and send chunks of ice into his eyes.

The giant was now overwhelmed with pain, losing his balance as he fell backwards.

Xellos leaped forward as the giant crashed down, burying an icy fist into his groin.

Despite being magically healed, Levi's right leg where his kneecap had just been shattered moment ago couldn't help but limp from the phantom pain. From the various puddles of blood that he had shed today, he picked up his glasses and with one part of his cheongsam that wasn't stained with blood, he cleaned the lenses off before slipping them back on.

Glancing over to Dean and Alexia, Levi spoke to Dean first, "If she is any sign of what is the come for your abilities, then I'll will may sure to avoid angering you." He said with a small smile. Unfortunately, others had to face Hilda next and though Dean's and his efforts had managed to destroy one gauntlet and heavily damage another, they had yet to only wound the woman through Dean's Elven dagger.

Although Dean was unable to make out who was adressing him, due to the blurriness of his vision at the moment, he knew the voice more than well enough by now.

"Heh. I'll take that as a compliment." He replied, grinning. "Still.....I cant say I envy whoevers going against that chick next. It's like she was the fucking terminator, or something."

He began gently masaging his right eye with his plam, trying to sooth the small ache he could feel in it.

"I guess the elves were better blacksmiths than I gave them credit for, if my blade could do something to that woman when even I couldnt...."

Really, quite impressive. There's little doubt that she would utterly annihilate me, and anyone else, one on one, right now. Ilias couldn't help wincing as each member of Dragon Dorm got put down, and only got up once more to make more punishment. Commendable.



Muttering a goodbye to Jason, Ilias sped down to the edge of the stands and leaped over it, and down to the Arena floor; he landed with a soft, neigh soundless impact, just behind Dean in time to hear what Dean had said to himself and then fall on his ass.

OOC: It's actually right in character from what we've from Xellos so far. Xellos desires information from all types and sources, and has been shown to seek it quite doggedly. It's likely he just wants this connection so that he might gain some tidbits that could save some lives. After all, it'd be good to know any info about members of ZAHLEN (I spelt this correctly, yeah?) that he can get, and could allow you to prepare to fight some of the people from it.

Of course, I could be totally off, and Xellos is just some psycho out to rule the world. Possible, though I don't think it's probable. :p

Ilias didn't even try to stop the chuckle that he escaped him as Dean said that, clearly remembering the wide-eyed gaze he'd given the knife when he saw it impaled into the cement so close that, if a couple centimeters closer, it could have neutered him.

Sabin and Garthin are both 7 feet or so, and Hilda was 6'7.

(Including all flashbacks and the convo with Selma) "So Usei my apprentice, who I taught all my morals to went nuts and instead of beating down the Yakuza and keeping the peace he wants war and to control the Yakuza. I happened to call home and my friend Koko told me what happened. Koko is the one who sent me this." Kekowa patted his sword. "I never used it back home because on my streets their where no weapons, and no drugs, no exceptions, so I could train with it but not use it untill I came here. Then I called Usei and he told me himself his grand plan for blood and violence. I got very angry and told him I would send his soul to hell for doing such a thing."

Kekowa sat. Well that weights been lifted He looked back at Natalie "He knows I dont kill and am haunted by the one time I accidentally did, so Im not sure he took that to heart. What I do know is he wants me dead. First he sent a sniper who I interrogated for information and found out Usei was after my hide. Then I wandered off after hearing Diana's story and after a breif meditation to shake that off A group of about 20 or so attempted to jump me. They where far weaker then I so I laid them out, severing a few arms and leggs to unsure they pass along the fear. Now these are far more experienced, more determined. Im not sure Usei could possible have the connections to get such people, but this seems to random and to coincedintal to be anything else."

"Well for one he thought I wouldnt find out untill it was too late, he figured if I was already back in Tokyo I couldnt stop him. Besides he was only half of what I was when I first came here. He'd have no chance against me, no way he could have got as strong as I have."

"I was thinking about going back after the school tourneyment, but I dont want to pass out on my training, and now that Ive seen my death in Tokyo, for the first time in my life Im scared. Besides, I have people here I care about and need to protect." Kekowa looked at Natalie "I think you know what I mean."

As Kagura returns to her meditation, Tamiko walked over to Justin, "Let's get back to your TK. Show me how many pebbles you can pick up now." She smiled at him, expectantly.

"Alright, umm" Kustin looked around for the pebble pile Tamiko found before. Finding it, he began using his TK to quickly pick up about 36 pebbles. He then began picking up more pebbles and began to slow down around 83. Justin, getting to around 121 pebbles before dropping.

Shamra smiled again. "You have a strong and powerful heart, Selma St Jones. You just worry too much, that's all."

He turned to Xing. "I'm afraid I have to go now. Please keep her company."

Then he turned from them, took a few steps and vanished again.

At about the same time, Quince came running up to them. "Hey, who was that guy? He seemed familiar, somehow."

She turned to look at Selma. "Hey, you're that girl from before!" Then, noticing the state Selma was in, she frowned. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you were crying..."

Xing nodded to Shamra and was about to follow his request when a new-comer arrived. Apparently she was quite familiar with Selma and from the looks of things would fulfill his duty of keeping his friend company. Xing was about to add his own words in when he felt something at the back his mind.

It was strangely familiar, yet Xing could not quite place his hand on what it was. But even as he tried to recognize it, it grew stronger, until suddenly Xing made a loud gasp. Knowing that something was wrong, Xing decided to make his way away from the mysterios girl and Selma only waving to them as he left, a weak attempt to lie about his condition.

Xing stumbled for a little while more until he had to push himself to a wall in order to catch some rest of the mental odreal, even as the pain in his head increased.

Then anothr object of unrecognizable familiarity attacked his mind again.

And what was Levi doing throughout this time? That was an easy answer. With a bottle of water in hand, he was currently squishing a mouthful in his mouth. With his back facing everyone, he spat out the contents only to reveal that even after two bottles, it was still almost pure red in hue.

She must have damaged my internal organs... He thought as the possible reason why it seemed he had had so much blood pass through his mouth. While most of his thoughts focused on how he had been lucky she couldn't kill them, he was still analyzing the fight, trying to come up with some solution; some direction to point those who had to fight her next.

This is rather odd. He's generally hostile, but Jon usually doesn't take things as seriously as he is taking this. Staring closely as Jon also resulted in some surprises. There was strain around his eyes, and he seemed to be slouching, which he generally never did. There was a weariness about him, which was unlike anything he had seen from Jon before.

Of course, there was no sense in mentioning it---Jon would only take it as a sign of weakness, and of shame.

"I look forward to the day, Jon. I always have."

And always will.

Briefly, Ilias felt a heaviness around Jon, and a blur over his face. But then it was gone as if it never were. All that remained was a faint sense of unease.

'Xing' made his way towards them, hands folded, the barest hint of a smirk found on his face, "It may not be my place to say this, but friends shouldn't be trying to demean each other like this, should they? Recognizing who this person was from a previous encounter, Ilias stopped himself halfway to opening his mouth to say hello and mutter some half-assed pleasantry, and snapped his mouth shut.

Royale's words were starting to make him lose his cool.

The cyborg's jaw opened with a small zinging sound, the one that comes from clockwork.

"Oh, come on! You're not suggesting that he knows about my nightly trips to the orphanage!"

Alex's expression was filled with disgust.

"You come within 100 meters of my daughter and I can guarantee that no less than 80% of your body will have to be machine from then on."

The madman tittered.

"Oh, such a convoluted threat! Why don't you just-"

Alex's gloved hand clamped down on Royale's head.

"I'm saying I will crush you into powder if you even approach my daughter."

Blood started leaking out of the man's ears and nose.

"Okay. Just- let my head go."

He was released.

And sent flying through a wall with a simple flick of Alex's hand.

"It seems you were prepared to become leader and teacher to the masses, yet you've still much you need to learn yourself," she gently replied, "and for this situation which had strangely occured, if your ideals surely resonated with your friends, then the struggle won't die that easily. But until then, all you can do is learn from this, and press forward, ja?"

Jon turned towards the newcomer, furious. Who the hell was he to walk in, uninvited, giving *him* a lecture.

"You're right about one thing." Jon spat, teeth bared, venom in his voice. "It isnt your place to tell me anything. Just who the fuck are you anyways?"

Dean:Xing? ...I havnt seen him since...Hmm.....

In the back of his mind, Dean found it surprising that he hadnt seen him since before his matches began. Dean figured he was just preoccupied, training for his match.

Jon spoke once more, louder. "If I needed advice on how to treat my "Friends", I'd go find a fucking book."

This is rather odd. He's generally hostile, but Jon usually doesn't take things as seriously as he is taking this. Staring closely as Jon also resulted in some surprises. There was strain around his eyes, and he seemed to be slouching, which he generally never did. There was a weariness about him, which was unlike anything he had seen from Jon before.

Of course, there was no sense in mentioning it---Jon would only take it as a sign of weakness, and of shame.

"I look forward to the day, Jon. I always have."

And always will.

Briefly, Ilias felt a heaviness around Jon, and a blur over his face. But then it was gone as if it never were. All that remained was a faint sense of unease.

Jon grinned once more, his teeth bared, almost as if he were a dog; no, a wolf.

He laughed loudly, his voice sounding cold. Dean couldnt help but shiver as he heard it.

Dean:...What the fuck is this guys problem?! He seems so much more....Angry.Hateful.

"That's nice." Jon said, still grinning. " I'll destroy you, I'll destroy Dean..." He glanced over to Xing, furious he would presume to tell him how to function.

"And I'll destroy you for....I just dont like you." He glanced around the room.

"And I dont mean just physically."
