School House Rumble, Part 1: Arcadia, school of Old

Rhia looked down on her hand. "You know, just three days ago, after I mastered my Shift technique... I felt so happy, I thought I could do anything. It felt as it I could save the whole world if I had to..."

She clenched her fist. "Well, so be it! I don't belive in fate or destiny or any of that! I'll forge a brighter future with my own two hands!"

OOC: XIII Struggle would work with this mood, I think.

Dean leaned against a wall, putting his hands behind his head, eyes closed.

"Solarius....This Bringer....Such talented men....As I am now, I dont think I could defeat them... I dont think we could defeat them."

Dean sighed heavily, contemplating several things at once: Xing dying, Arcadia in ruins, Xellos being driven to madness, The majority of his friends, family, everyone- slain, his marrige to Kagura, their deaths. As well as Diana.

It was truly a desperate situation.

Yet, for some reason, Dean couldnt help but smirk.

"I'll really have to get into gear, if we expect to deal with such powerful foes."

"Y-yeah.." she stammered, still staring where Time/Diana used to be.

"She's gone now, Kagura." Xing said, "And, now we must make sure we put what information she gave us to good use."

"She said that we should expect an attack from Solarius some time after tomorrow. Doesn't give us much time to prepare. But, nonetheless, our first priority is to make sure we win the School Tournament first. Regardless of what happens, we can't risk Solarius gaining the Ring of Will."

Kekowa walked out. He was outside now but it was now dark.

He could feel eyes on him around every corner, lying in wait, perhaps it was his paranoia, perhaps it was more assassins sent by his former friend and pupil.

Kekowa found the perfect spot out side. I need to find Selma, if that vision is more than half right She could Die soon. Not on my watch. I must tell her how I feel before its to late for either of us. He sat leggs crossed

However I must meditate, like Qui Lan taught me He closed his eyes. He breathed slowly, in and out, The visions rushing through his mind, he controlled them, He slowly found himself in a sirene place. his spirit wandered untill he saw someone, a man, a face familiar. "Qui Lan, Master Monk Qui Lan? How did you get here? I finnally achieve a state of enlighten ment and you block my path?"

A monk figure appeared in his head. He had long flowing yellow robes and a ying-yang symbol on the center of his chest "No Kekowa this is not enlightenment. I brought you to this place, what troubles you student?"

Kekowa explained everything that went on at the school up to the recent events about the horrible future that awaited them.

"Yes I see student, I have looked into your minds eye and saw the terrible things that may come. You have great power within you, and not the power in your fists, other power."

"What other power sensei?"Kekowa asked puzzled

"You have a gift one that I have know for years, you have yet to ackno;ledge it, but I will release it."

"Sensei dont I dont want that power, I need you here with me, together we can..."

"Enough you are my student not the other way around, I will decide what best for you, not like that punk Kenkushu..."

"Dont Talk about Master Shinimei like that, he is a great man and an honorable warrior."

"And he also tourted you and put you through hell. Like I said enough you must wake up and begin to harness your new powers.

"No master I want to stay, tell must what must I do to protect those I love and care about?'

"You must WAKE UP!"

Kekowa opened his eyes, a more clamness over took his mind, no longer was he haunted by death but instead inbudded with a new sense of vigor. Although he could still feel the eyes watching him.

"Come out, I know your their Usei better have paid you good money and I hope you spent it well." A group that looked like Ninjas appeared Ninjas whats next? They had swords, shurienken, and chains drawn, their leader spoke. "End of the road Demon King. I dont know why but a pretty rich someone paid good money to see you die. We have 20 gusy here all armed to the teeth. We know perfectly well that dispite your rep you wont kill us. Why dont you just give it up?" Kekowa looked at them with a cold stare and put both hands on either side of his sword and drew his Kodachi's...

*5 minutes later*

"Bah barly a work out, and I was trying to stretch it." Kekowa started walking away. All his assailants had missing limbs, arms, legs, in some cases both. and all had their spines shattered making them paraplegic. "IF you see your boss, oh wait hehe you can because you will just lie here untill I decided to throw you off a cliff."

Kekowa walked off seathing his swords, with a renewed vigor to look for Selma.

As people meandered about the lunch room, a small girl appeared. Time seemed to stop except for the Dragon Students.

She had twin long pigtails, black in color. Her eyes were dark, almost like coals. She wore what seemed to be odd, black clothes, which seemed to shift slightly on their own accord. Her skin was pale, and her face set.

In her pale hands she held a white, crystal ball.


The rest of the room seemed to darken, and the temperature seemed to drop as she approached.


"One among you, will shortly perish.", she said.

The girls turned towarsd them all, and her gaze stopped them cold. In her eyes, images flickered across darkness. The scene shifted..........



And suddenly................

You see Dean Galtian and Kagura Ise-Smith holding hands, wedding rings proudly displayed on their fingers. Both are smiling and waving.

The group sees Xing floating in a clear cylinder, tubes running from his body. His open eyes are blank, and he's obvioulsy dead or near death.

Khanda is burning, the royal palace sacked, and the King and Queen dead. Shamra is seen holding a bloody Rhia as he escapes into the night.

Xanatos Enterprises, main building, is empty and barren. Xellos, the only living being inside, sits behind a desk. His hair is unkept, his clothes grimy and disgusting, and his eyes blood shot. He's observing dozens of moniter screens as fighters, mechs, and magical contructs fight each other, his forces being pushed back on each monitor.

In her right hand she holds a small wand, it's runes burning hellishly. Two mechs jump her, and she causaully dismantels them with a flick of he wrist.

Ramon and Daichi, both looking haggard, beaten, and bloody, stand back to back as a group of mechs incircle them, guns at the ready.

Kekowa, carrying a bloody Ramus through what looks like some sewers, is highlighted. Ramus is missing an ear, and his right eye has been torn out. Kekowa, his face covered in scars, grits his teeth as blood seeps from a wound in his side.

A much older Henry is seen standing over two more graves, those of Kagura and Dean. In his arms you see a small baby girl, with black hair and black eyes, cooing. Henry smile at her, points to the graves, and begins telling her something that can't be heard.

And the cafeteria sprang back to life, the little girl with black hair and black eyes looking at them.

"All potential futures are slowly converging to what you just saw."

It's possible Dean/Kekowa could, but there would be lots of running, attempting to hurt him, and failing. He's the SHR Equivilent of the juggernaut. I dont know anything we possess that could put him down.

We could survive, thats it. Admittedly, I have techniques that could help, but Dean dosnt possess them until after the tourney.

it had been barely 5 minutes since Ivan ran out of the office, yet Clone Alex was just about ready to wet himself. The moment that Royale found something that displeased him, he'd be the first to die.

"Okay...he's probably not here yet. If I could just-"

"TOO LATE!" A chain burst through the ceiling and wrapped itself around the duplicate's neck.

The door burst open, revealing the man who scared the crap out of the clone.

"You have been doing a veeery bad job here, you fake."

He pulled a harpoon gun out from his cape, and started to pull at his wetsuit. "Ah, it's here somewhere...."

A grenade was found.

"There we go. Don't worry, it's only an incendiary grenade."

Royale fired a harpoon through the duplicate's leg.

"First off, the factory is supposed to be dull grey, not shiny grey!"

He repeated the process with the other limb.

"Secondly, none of your workers could put up a decent fight! Out of 310 people, not one could last more than a second against me!"

The madman shot one through the clone's stomach.

"It is totally disgusting. Absolutely, completely disgusting."

He sighed wearily.

"You clones aren't just as good as the real deal, you know? It sickens me to know that somebody could be so inferior to the original in every way."

Royale shot the fake twice more. "And why won't you react? You too tough to show anything?"

Clone Alex spat in the madman's face.

"Oh, that just really pisses me off now."

He shot the duplicate once through each shoulder, before taking the grenade and shoving it into the victim's mouth.

"I'd say that you should pray, but I guess fakes like you don't believe in god."

He pulled the pin and started to walk away.

A few seconds after he left the office, the duplicate was burned alive by the detonation.

"I guess that we'll need new management."

Royale exited the factory, walking down a path of bloodied corpses.

"Nothing like the smell of blood on Christmas Day. That coppery, delicious scent...."

OOC: There not unbeatable by any margin, just our superiors. It would be boring if we could just up and stop the elite agents of a secret organization.

They are most likely to be recurring enemies. It would be to easy if we stop them the first time.

And they wouldnt be elite, if one or two of us were enough to walk all over them.

I think Ghosts guys are strong, but strong enough to not be overpowered, yet present a legitimate challange.

He's just a bad much for Bricks like us.

He's faster or as fast as Kekowa, and Dean *might* be able to react to him when he's blitzing, but it's hard to say.

And if Dean managed to say, hold him down, while Keko pounded away, it would take awhile before he was really hurt, IMO.

He probally can regen like Dean, and is just as skilled. Kekowa is inferior in both regards.

By Contrast, Dean and Kekowa wouldnt be able to take nearly as many of his punches.

Dean may last abit longer due to stamina/Durabilty, and Kekowa may evade more through superior speed, but it would be a slowly lost battle, IMO.

He's not going to shit on us, but I cant see us taking him down without backup.

A mage, or Psychic would be helpful. Especially Henry.

Literally, every other person/being is dead. Hunter's evil at this point (possessed by The Bringer of Flames), and is stalking anything else alive, Natalie's insane, and Henry the only one left to carry on. That's why Kagura/Dean gave him their baby girl.



Ramus dies shortly after Kekowa saved him. Kekowa died about two years later when Tokyo is obliterated/wiped out in one shot.

"Good job Dean my man, maybe you can get that date after all." Kekowa decided to see if Dean could help him "Hey man can I ask a favor? I havent seen Selma in ages, I need to talk to her desperatly, do you know where she is, and if not can you help me find her?"

His chi began to flow like a river bursting from a dam. Gold in hue, it seemed to shine most brightly from his eyes, obscuring the brown of his irises and the whites that surrounded them. He spoke out, finishing his thoughts with his voice.

"The hornless Huáng Lóng, Yellow Dragon of the Center, shall awaken once more!"

There was a reason why Xing had not given himself the pleasure of speaking with what may be the in-laws of one of his closest friends a few moments ago. In truth, ever since time seemed to move forward again, Xing had felt a slight pain in his head. He had brushed it off as some strange after-effect of their previous experience, but by the time Kagura's parents arrived, it'd developed into a full-blown headache. Were Xing a drinking man at all, this would have been the equivalent of a very painful hangover.

He stumbled away from the group trying to find some area of isolation and for the the most part he was successful. But, before he could get away just a little bit furthur, a pain like he had never felt before burned his mind. Xing didn't scream, though he most certainly wanted to. He had no intention of bringing any unnecessary attention to himself.

The voice nearly caused Xing to jump out of his skin but besides the technical impossibilities of such a feat, the accompanying pain that followed the voice seemed to stop him for even attempting any such action. A second voice followed, one of whom Xing was more comfortable with.

A third joined the fray, but this one carried an ill sense of foreboding, like some great evil.

Then, Xing could not hold it any longer and screamed loudly as he felt as if every fibre in his body was being ripped from him. Considering he wasn't too far from the main arena, somebody would surely have heard and came for him. But by the time they did, it'd be too late, subtle as the fact may be for them.

For as Xing regained his breath, his eyes seemed to take a new quality, the sway of his body was as if it belonged to another. But for those with the most accute of chi sensitivity, they'd notice that the chi contained within Xing's body was in fact not his own.

Smirking, 'Xing' chuckled, "Now, this was alot faster than I thought. Rest easy now, Xing. I'll take care of everything."

it had been barely 5 minutes since Ivan ran out of the office, yet Clone Alex was just about ready to wet himself. The moment that Royale found something that displeased him, he'd be the first to die.

"Okay...he's probably not here yet. If I could just-"

"TOO LATE!" A chain burst through the ceiling and wrapped itself around the duplicate's neck.

The door burst open, revealing the man who scared the crap out of the clone.

"You have been doing a veeery bad job here, you fake."

He pulled a harpoon gun out from his cape, and started to pull at his wetsuit. "Ah, it's here somewhere...."

A grenade was found.

"There we go. Don't worry, it's only an incendiary grenade."

Royale fired a harpoon through the duplicate's leg.

"First off, the factory is supposed to be dull grey, not shiny grey!"

He repeated the process with the other limb.

"Secondly, none of your workers could put up a decent fight! Out of 310 people, not one could last more than a second against me!"

The madman shot one through the clone's stomach.

"It is totally disgusting. Absolutely, completely disgusting."

He sighed wearily.

"You clones aren't just as good as the real deal, you know? It sickens me to know that somebody could be so inferior to the original in every way."

Royale shot the fake twice more. "And why won't you react? You too tough to show anything?"

Clone Alex spat in the madman's face.

He shot the duplicate once through each shoulder, before taking the grenade and shoving it into the victim's mouth.

"I'd say that you should pray, but I guess fakes like you don't believe in god."

He pulled the pin and started to walk away.

A few seconds after he left the office, the duplicate was burned alive by the detonation.

"I guess that we'll need new management."

Royale exited the factory, walking down a path of bloodied corpses.

To say that Ilias had gotten more than he bargained for when he came to the lunch room would be quite the understatement. He had just wanted a ham sandwich (some would think he'd like soup, considering the spoon he carried about. . . but he would never soil it so!); instead, he got predictions of death and the almost-genocide of the entire human race, judging from the vain the visions carried on in.

But the worst part was the girl. This.. Diana. She had look so like Larieha, that, when he had first laid eyes upon her, he had nearly rushed forward. But his whole being had frozen at the thought of Larieha being alive, and he had made no move forward.

Then the visions. . . ah, tales of the times to come. Perhaps he had fulfilled his promise in that time? Doubtful. Ilias had the feeling that whatever he did, however he tried, it would never be enough. And yet, despite his antipathy towards many in the room, he felt remorse for these people, none of whom he really knew, because they had likely fought for things they believed in just as strongly as he himself believed in his promise, and gave him a small feeling of kinship in them.

Gazing upon Dean's retreating form as he sped away from two men, one young and the other old; the manling followed Dean from the room, and as he did, Ilias wondered if Dean might now understand how Ilias had felt for years now. The knowledge that he could lose something dear to him, and would do anything to keep it safe, or to do whatever it took to revive it from whatever graves the future presented to him. .

The one response which Levi would receive was a mad cackle from 'Xing'. "Oh, I'm sure you will Wei. I'd be disappointed if it turned out that you wouldn't take some measure of responsibility for me. If even the captain should act so callously, what is there to say of the rest of the team, eh?"

Xing's grin seemed to subside a little, tough the excitement was clearly still there, "But those eyes... those beautiful eyes.... You have the look of one whom I think I could get along with were it not for your gentler nature. Nonetheless, I think I'll give Xing back to you for now. My current control of him was more of a 'test run', you see. But, don't worry. I'll take him back when it counts the most."

No, I mean only Henry, the baby, Natalie, and Hunter are the only ones left alive in the entire world.

Literally, every other person/being is dead. Hunter's evil at this point (possessed by The Bringer of Flames), and is stalking anything else alive, Natalie's insane, and Henry the only one left to carry on. That's why Kagura/Dean gave him their baby girl.

Ramus dies shortly after Kekowa saved him. Kekowa died about two years later when Tokyo is obliterated/wiped out in one shot.

No one knows that might potentially happen to Huneter.

Dean dies first. About 5 years after Arcadia was destroyed, Dean and Hunter get trapped behind enemy lines and overwhelmed. Not before killing the current host of The Bringer, though. Sadly, killing the host forced The Bringer to possess someone, and Hunter was available.

Kagura get's killed later on when she and Henry are escaping from one of the many fights Insane Natalie and Possessed Hunter's fight. She dies protecting Henry and the baby.

Xellos gave her some time to herself. Sometimes, only self reflection could do what no company could.

Nonetheless, Xellos was never one for complete inaction. A few minutes after she entered, he placed a hand on the wall and sensed where the water-pipe lay.

The water coursed through the building, and at this juncture it branched into this series of taps...which one? From the sound of the tap, it was probably...the second.

Xellos conjured the water through the tap, pushing it up and backwards, making it form a fine misty layer over the mirror in front of Natalie.

He pulled at the water particles, forming gaps in the layer. To the observer it would seem an invisible finger was at work. Finally, he stopped, a simple sentence and smiley having been written on the mirrors' surface.

When going through hell, keep going ;)

Ramus is pretty freaked as in on a training montage. Natalie's freaked as well and has locked herself up in her room. Xellos, being the God of Dickery is spying on her, of course. Xing got temporarily possessed by his Healer, and Wei found out about it. Kekkowa and Dean were looking for Selma until Xiong Wei bumped into them.
