"Eh" Dean said, shrugging. "I wouldnt worry about it too much. Besides, I'm more concerned about my cheesburgers, than a fight."

Though Xing tried his level best, the plight he believed his dear friend was in was too much for him and he broke into tears.

"Oh, the trouble that befalls us when we fight for duty!" Xing sobbed, trying to gain control of his voice, "Though we fight here for noble causes, my heart cannot but be struck with unbearable pain at the plight within! It is not the powerful enemies we face that we should be worried of, but the dark energies being produced by the evil and malicious thoughts of those that we have faced."

"And who else should be struck first, but you!? You, who is the scion of a warrior race so ancient and noble, that all other empires cannot be even considered when searching for a comparison! Is this some twisted decision of fate, that it would pick you first so that we will all lose hope before we've even faced that which seeks to possess us?"

"Dean, this hell-sent spirit which possesses you makes you speak as if you had no other care in the world, when you so clearly have much to fear of. That I was unable to notice this evil before it had struck shows my weakness! But I will reprimand that, for I will not.... NOT see you engage in slavery, whether you be master or otherwise!"


Dean looked at Xing, dumbfounded. "Engage? Slavery? What the hell are you talking about....?"

Dean thought for a moment, remembering their conversation. "Damnit Xing!" Dean yelled. "We've been over this! I am not going to marry you!"

As people meandered about the lunch room, a small girl appeared. Time seemed to stop except for the Dragon Students.

She had twin long pigtails, black in color. Her eyes were dark, almost like coals. She wore what seemed to be odd, black clothes, which seemed to shift slightly on their own accord. Her skin was pale, and her face set.

In her pale hands she held a white, crystal ball.


The rest of the room seemed to darken, and the temperature seemed to drop as she approached.


"One among you, will shortly perish.", she said.

Dean nearly choked on his burger. Xing was wierd, but this was just insane.

"What evil spirit? The spirit of hunger? I admit, it's been awhile since I've eaten, but I dont think it's going to cause that much trouble...."

Would you be like another Cao Cao, a warrior born under a star of greatness, but because of dark natures beyond human understanding, become villain in the pages of history? I will not allow you to be, and because of that, we must drive out the spirit within you!"

"I will not allow you to marry anyone! Not me! Not Kagura! No one! Mark my words Dean, I WILL SAVE YOU!"

Then with a passion-filled roar, Xing leaped onto Dean and despite the obvious difference in strength, made an attempt to suppress him.

Although his heart was still beating, as was those of his comrades, everyone else seemed frozen.

No heartbeat, no breathing, nothing.

Her words sent a cold chill running through what was left of Tamiko's soul. She hugged herself, as if to get warm. As she did so, she stared coldly at this visitor, "Fate be dammed, I told you I will not let any dragons die. I don't care how powerful this Bringer of Flames is."

Xing could've sworn he died and came back to life when the girl turned to face him. Perhaps it was her generally intimidating aura. Perhaps it was the shock he was in. But Xing found himself quite paralyzed.

"No...." Xing's answer barely formed itself as a whisper, and he remained silent after, much too scared to say anything else.

Dean didnt know what to think of the woman. It could have been that she didnt have a heartbeat, or that she wasnt breathing that bothered him.

It could have been the fact that he didnt hear any blood flowing through her veins.

Dean didnt know what it was that put him off about her, but he was positive that whatever she was was, she certainly wasnt human.

This cant be good.....

As soon as Kekowa toucher her, agony unlike anything ripped through him. The girl pulled his hands away from her, and as soon as her touch left him, the pain stopped, as if it had never happened.

If Xing's heartbeat had been rapid and loud as a drum before, it was beating at such a rate, Dean thought Xing would faint, or his heart would give out.

He's not just worried....He's fucking terrified....But why?

Dean found the words of the "Girl" unsetteling, and quite worrisome, but Xing was by far the most concerned.

He could tell that much, easily enough. Kekowa, was furious. Xellos was concerned, but calm.

Everyone else seemed to be equally unsettled, but Xing....He seemed so afraid, it was as if his own death were being foretold.

Dean wrote this off as Xing being Xing. He always did overreact, after all.

"Ok "girl" and I use that term loosely, Tell us NOW WHO IS THE BRINGER OF FLAME AND WHO WILL He KILL. OR," Kekowa said rasing a fist "I will force you!"

Dean winced as he saw the Spams shoot up Kekowas body, in exquisite detail, in the mind of his eye. It had happened without warning, and near instaneously.

Who the hell is this girl.

Dean decided this was a good question, and asked it.

"Kekowa." Dean said, trying to relieve himself of the nervousness in his voice. "I dont think thats such a good idea."

"As cold as a corpse....and a prediction about one of us dying....Could she be Death itself?"

She didn't want to ask the girl any questions, for fear of attracting her attention.

"No, Xellos Raveneye, it is not Solarius whom is the Bringer of Flames. Solarius is a pawn of Desolation, Despair, and Darkness. He is no more his own master then a puppet who can't see the strings that control him."

Xellos raised his eyebrows, impressed. She was more useful than he thought she'd be.

"I see. Thank you for informing us. I trust you have told the teachers as well? Nevermind...we'll inform them ourselves regardless."

He closed his eyes as he shed the usual cutting logic from his mind,

"How may we see the smoke over the fire? What do you see of the tools being brought to bear?"

Her words sent a cold chill running through what was left of Tamiko's soul. She hugged herself, as if to get warm. As she did so, she stared coldly at this visitor, "Fate be dammed, I told you I will not let any dragons die. I don't care how powerful this Bringer of Flames is."

"No, Xellos Raveneye, it is not Solarius whom is the Bringer of Flames. Solarius is a pawn of Desolation, Despair, and Darkness. He is no more his own master then a puppet who can't see the strings that control him."

In the part of her soul that wasn't truely hers, Tamiko could feel the truth in her words. She could feel the icy cold desolation, and beyond it the unstoppable flames of distruction. Her body shook slightly at this, as if trying to hold back fire, as if to hold back the ice. Still, she stared definantly, "I will not let that happen." She spoke softly, as if thinking outloud.

Instead, over half of the academy was in ruins. The pround dragon insignia tha tonce stood above the archway was destroyed. The gardens had blackened, and the forest burned.

You see Dean Galtian and Kagura Ise-Smith holding hands, wedding rings proudly displayed on their fingers. Both are smiling and waving.

The group sees Xing floating in a clear cylinder, tubes running from his body. His open eyes are blank, and he's obvioulsy dead or near death.

Khanda is burning, the royal palace sacked, and the King and Queen dead. Shamra is seen holding a bloody Rhia as he escapes into the night.

Xanatos Enterprises, main building, is empty and barren. Xellos, the only living being inside, sits behind a desk. His hair is unkept, his clothes grimy and disgusting, and his eyes blood shot. He's observing dozens of moniter screens as fighters, mechs, and magical contructs fight each other, his forces being pushed back on each monitor.

A cemetary stands before them, desolute and lonely. The names of the freshiest graves stand out before them in bold letters.

A woman in dirty cloths wanders through a recent battlefield. Upon a closer look, you see it's Natalie. She's bald, covered in scars, and her right eye is cybernetic. Her left arm is gone aswell. In her right hand she holds a small wand, it's runes burning hellishly. Two mechs jump her, and she causaully dismantels them with a flick of he wrist.

Ramon and Daichi, both looking haggard, beaten, and bloody, stand back to back as a group of mechs incircle them, guns at the ready.

Kekowa, carrying a bloody Ramus through what looks like some sewers, is highlighted. Ramus is missing an ear, and his right eye has been torn out. Kekowa, his face covered in scars, grits his teeth as blood seeps from a wound in his side.

A much older Henry is seen standing over two more graves, those of Kagura and Dean. In his arms you see a small baby girl, with black hair and black eyes, cooing. Henry smile at her, points to the graves, and begins telling her something that can't be heard.

The rush of mental images flooded his mind, he hit the ground on his knees and started twitching. Tears formed in his eyes when he saw Selma's grave, He was angered when he saw Xellos behind a desk when the rest of us where dieing or dead. He saw himself wounded carrying Ramus, he almost threw up.

Kekowa stood, brushing it off and putting up a strong front, even though on the inside he was worried. "See thats what you have to do to these things if you want them to tell you what you want to know."

Kekowa looked at her again. "You still havent told us who does this, Who is he so we may crush him!"

Crap. It's happening already? I thought I had more time...Oh well, it's only at about the halfway point...I think.

Still, Dean didnt have the time to explain the in and outs of the Shingan, much less what what was happening with his eyes.

You see Dean Galtian and Kagura Ise-Smith holding hands, wedding rings proudly displayed on their fingers. Both are smiling and waving.

The group sees Xing floating in a clear cylinder, tubes running from his body. His open eyes are blank, and he's obvioulsy dead or near death.

Khanda is burning, the royal palace sacked, and the King and Queen dead. Shamra is seen holding a bloody Rhia as he escapes into the night.

Xanatos Enterprises, main building, is empty and barren. Xellos, the only living being inside, sits behind a desk. His hair is unkept, his clothes grimy and disgusting, and his eyes blood shot. He's observing dozens of moniter screens as fighters, mechs, and magical contructs fight each other, his forces being pushed back on each monitor.

In her right hand she holds a small wand, it's runes burning hellishly. Two mechs jump her, and she causaully dismantels them with a flick of he wrist.

Ramon and Daichi, both looking haggard, beaten, and bloody, stand back to back as a group of mechs incircle them, guns at the ready.

Kekowa, carrying a bloody Ramus through what looks like some sewers, is highlighted. Ramus is missing an ear, and his right eye has been torn out. Kekowa, his face covered in scars, grits his teeth as blood seeps from a wound in his side.

A much older Henry is seen standing over two more graves, those of Kagura and Dean. In his arms you see a small baby girl, with black hair and black eyes, cooing. Henry smile at her, points to the graves, and begins telling her something that can't be heard.

And the cafeteria sprang back to life, the little girl with black hair and black eyes looking at them.

"All potential futures are slowly converging to what you just saw."

The grim nature of the majority of the scenarios made the second stand out, much to Kagura's acute embarrassment.

Dean could only blink in shock at what occured. His suprise, and happiness over the second vision, quickly faded, the longer the visions continued.

He could hear his own heart beating frantically. Anxiety, Shock, Fear. He could sense those were the feelings of everyone around him.

He also felt all of those things. He tried to make sense of them, but couldnt.

All that he understood was that there would be Death. Pain. Suffering.

Xing sighed in relief. Granted that whatever happened, he still did die, at least it was not confirmed that his genetic flaws would truly be the end of him. That gave him hope. Something they all needed.

"Diana.... I must give you my sincere thanks for coming here. I'd expect nothing less from the daughter of one of the greatest men I've known." Then Xing asked, "But tell us... what must we be prepared for? And when must we be ready to face this?"

While he most certainly was not of the Dragon Dorm, in many ways, one could say that part of him resided in it as well. More specifically, that part resided in Xing. The Healer's aid to Xing was not merely 'healing' his genetic structure; it was forcibly inserting his own into Xing's.

Even before The Healer's aid, the two had a connection, though through their lives, they never realized it. But when Xing first came to the Beast Fist School, he knew. He knew that they shared the same blood.

"That, nonetheless, was an interesting show. Seems like I have no place in the future. I wonder why." Brushing some hair back, The Healer continued speaking to himself, "Nonetheless, I suppose the boy'll now be needing my help more than ever. This will be so deliciously amusing."
