Ruman side stepped Kekowa's charge, allowing him and Peter to collide isntead.

She was slow, however, and barely did so. She the ncalled up a bit of magic and used it to slide Selma's attack aside, right into Justin's firebomb.

She took the lightning bolt stright up, though, along with the concusive slap, which knocked her toward Tamiko.

Jericho held up a hand at Anselm.

"Hold, my friend, It's almost over."

Peter fell backwards, clutching his face, blood dribbling down his chin. It wasn't often one leaned into a haymaker from one of the strongest guys around.

Kekowa's fist had broken Peter's nose, and Peter's blade had dug into the martial artist's shoulder, biting deep into flesh. If it hadn't been for Kekowa's punch, Peter might have accidentally cleaved him in half.

The Guitarist scrambled to his feet, throwing down his most powerful attack of the day, "CRUSH!!!"

Kekowa now was in a bloodrage. he pushed peter off of him. He had only on chance left. He was almost drained, so he gather all of his strength for one last chance. He Rushed Ruman and Lept for her as fast and as hard as he could using every bit of strength he had left to grab and tackle her. HE let out a mighty cry, if he would fall she would know Kekowa's strength.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH"

Selma barely managed to dodge the firebomb, rolling to the side and getting back to her feet. She turned to Rumen and let out a cry of rage as she charged the woman, attempting to snatch the hairband and end the madness.

Anselm blinked and looked to Jericho, studying him before nodding, turning to watch the fight. He was glad that the fight was almost over, afraid what would happen if it continued any longer.

Kekowa now was in a bloodrage. he pushed peter off of him. He had only on chance left. He was almost drained, so he gather all of his strength for one last chance. He Rushed Ruman and Lept for her as fast and as hard as he could using every bit of strength he had left to grab and tackle her. HE let out a mighty cry, if he would fall she would know Kekowa's strength.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH"

OOC: ...you just can't stop running right into my gravity wells, can you? :p ;)

Kekowa's fist had broken Peter's nose, and Peter's blade had dug into the martial artist's shoulder, biting deep into flesh. If it hadn't been for Kekowa's punch, Peter might have accidentally cleaved him in half.

The Guitarist scrambled to his feet, throwing down his most powerful attack of the day, "CRUSH!!!"

OOC: Thanks. I didnt see that till after I wrote mine, now kekowa is really gone if his attack fails.

"Ah, I wish to help but cannot directly as my eyes are slow," she replied , "however, perhaps you can. Once you let loose the lightning, can you control its course? I may be able to set up the surroundings to put her. Look!"

The instructor fumbled in her steps, winded and caught off guard.

"Okay, no time to be elaborate, I will attempt to ionize the air to amplify your blast! Zerstauben!"

She raised her wand and cast her alchemical spell on the air. Able to shatter a small boulder in a direct shot, on gases the area of effect was much wider.

"Before she can escape!"

She then grabbed Selma's fist as she charged and threw her toward Tamiko, hoping to break the TK pull she had on Ruman that was slowing her down.

She turned, only to get hit by Peter's "Crush" and Natalie's alchemy spell. She fell to her knees, a large crater forming as she held off the attacks with a flickering magic barrier around her. It was, however, taking everything she had to do so.

Flipping in midair, Selma managed to dodge Tamiko as she did so, skidding to a stop on the ground. She immediately charged Ruman again, reaching for the hairband as she did so.

Using his ice magic to tunnel beneath the barrier, Xellos burst forth from the ground in a shower of ice behind Ruman.

Locking her in a modified full nelson, he pressed the ice shard gloves on his hands to Rumans' throat and carotid artery, preventing her from squirming away.

"Don't move doctor..."

Using his teeth, he bit off her hair band.

OOC: I didnt mean you, I ment Justin, she threw me into him. but since Justin doesnt care.

Kekowa bounced on the ground and came to a skidding stop. He was barly conscious let alone able to get up. He could see her weaking, he had a small part in that but for Kekowa that wasnt enough.

Using his good arm he dug into the ground and inched himself, while on the ground, to the battle.

Hunter was hiding behind a tree, draining it of chi energy to replace his own spent stores. Soon he was recharged, and the tree looked sickly now. Hunter sent forth two chi blasts, but he controlled them and sent them underground, blasting the ground beneath the doctor's feet.

Throwing Kekowa off of him. Justin glared and returned with another firebomb. This one slighlty larger then the first two.

He felt a hand on his chest, pushing him backwards, "Hey, I think they have it for now. All you're going to do is endanger the others."

Peter shoved Justin back a bit, directing him towards Kekowa, "Now how you give me a hand helping the guy covered in shrapnel that you just threw to the dirt?"

A blast of magic suddenly springs to life around Ruman, and as teh light fasdes, she's busted out of teh ravity shell and healed herself, though this drained her badly. She side stepped the lightning bolts and the TK grabs barely, and narrowly avoided Selma's charge, Hunter's exploding chi blasts, and Justin's firebomb.

She wasn't ready for Xellos, however, and froze and he full nelsoned her.

With a smile, she nodded her head.

"Very well, I admit defeat."

With a twirl of her hand, her healing aura sprang up and healed the studnets of their injuries.

Peter began to pull the shards from his body and straightened his nose with a painful crunch, "Never mind, then."

He turned and walked away from the pair, picking up his guitar and umbrella from where he had left them. Surprisingly, they had been undamaged during the whole affair.

Not forgetting the brothers whom she assisted, she righted herself and made a hasty introduction.

She paused for a moment looking upon the younger brother, a great well of psychic presence in him...then broke a friendly grin.

That Xellos is starting to get on my nerves. Its not his use of magic that bothers me, others have that. But he hids so much from battle, we where barly able to beat her we wheer beaten so bad but he wants to come in only when its convient. Maybe he needs a talking to...

Kekowa walked over to Ramun and bowed. "Thank you for a wonderful match, had it lasted any longer I would have been paste. I also Apoligize if I was a little to rough during the fight, Ive never been hurt like that and I got a little crazy."

Selma smiled and thrust her hands into the air with a loud whoop of victory, collapsing to the ground seconds later.

Anselm nodded, a wide smile across his furry face as he surveyed their new students. This was definitely going to be a fun year, he was sure of it.

However, his smile became a rather sheepish grin as he saw Bloodmoon. If one could see his cheeks beneath his fur, they would swear that his cheeks were glowing.

OOC: I did get whacked across the neck when I entered the battle in fight 4. In the RPG we can assume I got knocked out since I didn't post any more before the fight ended, and I RPed I was still feelin it at the beginning of fight 5.:p That said, I wouldn't mind Kekowa developing some feelings of animosity/resentment towards Xellos. Would definately make it more fun.

Xellos dusted himself off with partial success.

Ice and dirt collected from the underground trip had blended together to create that oh so glorious concoction known as mud, and it was over much of his clothes. A bath was in order.

Kelly watched as the students talked with each other, looking over them very carefully.

"It looks like Horace will be seeing a lot more action then I anticipated" he said as he truned towards the acadamey. He began to walk back, looking foward to the future lessons he will be having with them.

Anselm shook himself from his giddyness and ran to catch up with Kelly, slowing to keep pace with him as they headed toward the academy.

"So Kelly, how do you feel about this newest group of students?" Anselm asked, looking up to see the much taller man's face as they walked.

"Not much actually, we got the invitation to this special school for kids with powers and we just decided that it would be a good idea and chance to meet others like us." Henry said.

"Well of course Kelly, but that's a given. Everyone who wishes to survive in this world must get stronger, even us. But I understand what you're talking about, since the world they're entering by learning at this school is far more dangerous than the one they're used to." Anselm said, still walking.

"And its our job as their teachers to help them become stronger, so that they can survive. But considering some of our former students, I don't think we need to worry about failing them in that department." Anselm added with a smile.

She beamed and a perky glint returned to her eyes.

"Well, let me answer your question with a second query, ja? How do you feel about the world around you?"

"Thankfully, they will not have to worry about thing like the Kyoto conflict, or the guild war" he said with a faint smile.

He nodded in silent agreement, one of his "hands" moving involuntarily over a spot on his chest that held a deep, puckered scar. Something of a reminder of those times, and the bloodshed that occured during it. He had lost some good friends during the guild war, and was not willing to go through it again.

Deciding to change the subject, he said "Kelly, I've always wondered something... Why is your sword named Horace?"

Something of a reminder of those times, and the bloodshed that occured during it. He had lost some good friends during the guild war, and was not willing to go through it again.

Deciding to change the subject, he said "Kelly, I've always wondered something... Why is your sword named Horace?"

Hunter cleaned his book bag off once he had picked a room for himself. He then opened the bag to check on his books. Amazingly there was no moisture in the bag, no dirt or grass. Just heat, a surprizing amount of heat, and the red glow of the spell book. Hunter brought it out and opened it.
And then his jaw dropped.
Before he had been unable to read the pages within, in fact he had been unable to make out the language used to write the mysterious tome. But now he could make it out, he could read it word for word. He felt his mind open a little, his senses widening to accept this new understanding of magic. He quickly began to read, absorbing every line, every word. Now, now he was a mage...

OOC: A weak mage, but still a mage.:D

Xellos followed Hunter up the building, entering the room as Hunter began reading from the tome. He was shocked as he witnessed the magical texts imparted their knowledge into him.

The book definately has a hold on him. He was just warned by Natalie and he easily forgets caution...Yet he may be somewhat suited for it. That dark chi he used during the fight suggests something extraordinary about his physiology. He's a decent man, a psychic, superb chi control, sharp and creative...I like this fellow. I'd better befriend him for its own sake as well as to keep tabs on the book.

OOC: I did get whacked across the neck when I entered the battle in fight 4. In the RPG we can assume I got knocked out since I didn't post any more before the fight ended, and I RPed I was still feelin it at the beginning of fight 5.:p That said, I wouldn't mind Kekowa developing some feelings of animosity/resentment towards Xellos. Would definately make it more fun.

Xellos dusted himself off with partial success.

Ice and dirt collected from the underground trip had blended together to create that oh so glorious concoction known as mud, and it was over much of his clothes. A bath was in order.

OOC: Well everyone needs a rival, your brains vs my muscle. And besides That could make my charecter more interesting, beneath his good nature he harbors a secret animosity.

Kekowa decided to get up after a few hours of sleep. He was used to it and he woke up refreshed. He decided to sneak down to the grounds for a little morning training.

Once down he took a deep breath, and felt not only renewed, but stronger. Yes, he could feel new strength and vigor coursing through his vains.

He started to go through his patterns, with new speed and strength at his disposal he though that this wouldnt be so bad. Then he remembered last night. the way the teachers threw him around like a rag doll. Kekowa was sloppy and he knew it.If i am to be the best I must sharpen my skill as well as my strength and speed. I shall have to make a mention of it

OOC: Also Kekowa isnt trying to be anti social, if you'd like to make friends juts talk to him:)

OOC: I can see it now. Eye of the tiger starts playing, Dean Gaitlin starts jogging and is brought down by a guard dog. After getting mauled, he continues jogging and steps in a large pile of poo, but doesn't notice and repels all those he goes past.

Cut to the gym, where he's lifting a large two-handed weight. He has difficulty at first, but starts to get stronger and handle it better.

Cut back to the running, where a nameless trainee student puts a hand on his shoulder to point out the poo on his feet. Dean thinks he's getting attacked and punches his lights out. More and more people begin to swarm and stop him as Dean throws his fists left and right, never stopping his jog.

Cut to the gym, where he is now at complete ease with the big weight. He spins it around like a shaolin staff faster and faster. Elated, he shouts "Yeah!" and breaks the weight in half on his knee, then is promptly expelled from the gym.

Cut back to the brawl, where a huge pile of mangled bodies lies in the middle of the road. He jogs up the corpses till he reaches the top, then turns around and raises his fists in the air, jumping up and down in triumph as Eye of the Tiger, which has been playing through all of this, reaches its climax.

OOC: I was using the Negima description of Chi/magic, mages in that naturally seem 'absorb' outside energy and turn it into mana in their bodies.

"I'll be on the third floor if anyone needs me" Dean said absent-mindedly, and with a slight wave of his hand, departed to find a room that satisfied his taste.

After looking around the floor for a few minutes, he finally found a room that he liked. The room was nothing special: Four walls, a door, a window near his bed, a desk and a dresser. As well as a mirror, for which he could practice his posing.

Taking his clothes out his backpack, he began putting them into the dresser. He put the book that he had recieved from Hunter regarding Sleep Training onto his desk with a flick of his hands.

Home sweet home.

She noticed her hand was covered in a bit of floor dust, which she hastily patted off. Looking at Selma's heavily armed, yet somewhat waifish visage, it was a little odd. It was as if she was looking at a version of herself that had joined the army.

"I have no specialization really; after all magic is inherent in nature, and it is the spiritual natures that govern the balance of the world...so I have been taught anyways. The ancient doctrines, you know?"

After drawing three points along the first arc of the circle Natalie grasped Selma's hand.

"Natalie Schroeder of the Zeitgeist Sisterhood, a...junior acolyte perhaps? Our organization really has no rank or file that I know of :o "

She noticed her hand was covered in a bit of floor dust, which she hastily patted off. Looking at Selma's heavily armed, yet somewhat waifish visage, it was a little odd. It was as if she was looking at a version of herself that had joined the army.

"I have no specialization really; after all magic is inherent in nature, and it is the spiritual natures that govern the balance of the world...so I have been taught anyways. The ancient doctrines, you know?"

"... OK..." Selma said, blinking at the information Natalie had told her. However, she decided to not think about it too much, she looked to Natalie and smiled as she asked "So, what brings you to Arcadia Natalie?"

Xellos approached the mage musician. He had been very impressed with the power and unique capabilities of his gravity magic and sought to learn more about him.

"Evening, Peter. Your performance in the tests today was quite eye catching."

Peter looked up at him from his guitar, paused for a moment, as if considering what to say, then looked back down at his guitar and began to fiddle with it once more, "Thanks."

He was silent for a moment, then continued, "You didn't do so bad, either."

Xellos followed Hunter up the building, entering the room as Hunter began reading from the tome. He was shocked as he witnessed the magical texts imparted their knowledge into him.

The book definately has a hold on him. He was just warned by Natalie and he easily forgets caution...Yet he may be somewhat suited for it. That dark chi he used during the fight suggests something extraordinary about his physiology. He's a decent man, a psychic, superb chi control, sharp and creative...I like this fellow. I'd better befriend him for its own sake as well as to keep tabs on the book.

"Hi, would you like to bunk together?"

Hunter was lost in the book. Suddenly he slammed it down on the ground and brought forth his dark chi aura, and brought forth his psychic energies, even going as far as opening his third eye which he had been hiding since he had arrived, a large, sickly yellow eye. Then he brought forth his new found magic, and his two normal eyes turned black as night, and red sigils appeared on his arms. He held his hands open, and in his right hand appeared a deep red flame, and in the left, dark shadows gathered. He sent portions of his chi, psychic, and magical energies into those two shapes, forming them into two guns, two six shooters, one red and orange, one dark. These weapons were a part of him, extensions of his energies.
Suddenly his aura left him, his third eye closed, and his eyes and arms turned back to normal. He blinked a few times, and then finally noticed Xellos. "Hello," Hunter said, feeling embarrassed.

"... OK..." Selma said, blinking at the information Natalie had told her. However, she decided to not think about it too much, she looked to Natalie and smiled as she asked "So, what brings you to Arcadia Natalie?"

Odd, I thought all witches knew of the Astral realm, she thought to herself, empathetically picking up on Selma's confusion, Perhaps the eclectic studies of combat magi are more a means to an end?

She continued drawing the circle, bringing the arc into a figure, then began to draw seven points into it while talking.

"Well, really, there is so much suffering in this world, ja? And it all seems to stem from a lack of balance. Everyone is so full of desire and need...I want to help them all! But I don't have the means for it yet."

Hunter felt the weight of the magic spell guns in his hand, realized what all had happened, and quickly left Xellos and ran out of his new room with his spell book and newly fashioned guns. He didn't know what to do, this whole magic thing was new to him, he wasn't supposed to be able to do this, was he? He was too excited and frightened to think straight, surely there was someone in the dorm he could talk to who knew about this kind of thing. "Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap," he said to himself.

Hunter was in a broom closet now. He had stopped running and decided to hide somewhere to think things out. He was clutching a broom in his hands, squeezing it and tensing his muscles, trying to dispell his tension, his feats, something. The spell book was on the floor. It had stopped glowing red now that Hunter had read it and had made his weapons. But he could sense there was still something...wrong with it. Whatever it was, it was his responsibility, now and always. He tensed harder, and the broom snapped.
Hunter blinked. He wasn't that strong, it wasn't his muscles that had broken the broom. He looked at it and saw that the middle of the broom was missing, that the broom hadn't snapped so much as been...molded off the rest like clay.
Hunter opened his hands and saw twelve, perfectly shaped, wooden bullets...

Hunter walked out of the broom closet. He wasn't sure which floor he was on, just that he was now between the first and fifth floors. He had ran though all the floors when he had found his perfect room on the fifth, so he soon recognized that he was on the third floor. He began walking, staring at the loaded spell guns in his hands. He sent his thoughts and energies into them, and found that each gun had a familiar core of energy pulsing on the astral levels. These were the energies he had spent of himself in making the guns.

And then he noticed he was feeling things that existed on an astral level, and that something big from that level had been summoned on this floor very recently.

"A bat moth...?" Hunter said incredulously.

Listening to Natalie's explaination, Selma relaxed as she nodded. She may not have understood everything in it, but she had heard Natalie say it was harmless, and the girl knew more about it than she did.

Leaning forward, Selma placed her forehead on the floor, her hands bracing her as she said "Hello Battra, its a pleasure to make your aquaintance."

Watching from his hiding place, Anselm, who had teleported there after he felt the power from this space, relaxed as he recognized Battra, a being whom he had ocassionally made contact with over the years.

As he relaxed, he became interested in Natalie's connection with the astral being.

Seeing Rhia walking away with Alexia, Kagura decided to continue on her quest to find a room, so she picked up her bags and headed off.

Several minutes later she found the perfect room on the ground floor, so she got prepared for bed and settled off to sleep.

Rhia peeked inside. "Ooh, this is nice!"

The room proved to be spacious and bright. There were two beds, a desk, a bookcase and even a balcony.

Marching into the room, she threw her bag on one of the beds. "Well, might as well get ourselves comfortable!"

"If you say so." Alexia walked in and dropped her bag on her bed. She took off her cloak, folded it neatly, and placed it on her pillow.

"Do you need help unpacking?"

Listening to Natalie's explaination, Selma relaxed as she nodded. She may not have understood everything in it, but she had heard Natalie say it was harmless, and the girl knew more about it than she did.

Leaning forward, Selma placed her forehead on the floor, her hands bracing her as she said "Hello Battra, its a pleasure to make your aquaintance."

Watching from his hiding place, Anselm, who had teleported there after he felt the power from this space, relaxed as he recognized Battra, a being whom he had ocassionally made contact with over the years.

As he relaxed, he became interested in Natalie's connection with the astral being.

Pleased at Selma's acceptance of the strange and fantastic, Battra began to move its wings rapidly, continuing its strange roars and chittering as it did so, while it began to glow with a shifting, oscillating light.

"Ah, and this is what I invoked this great Spirit of Nature for," Natalie explained, "I wanted its blessing for the times ahead for i am sure they will be fraught with all sorts of challenges. Look! It even wishes to bless you!"

The great spirit then expelled from its mouth two large spiritual orbs, which floated to and fro before gently levitating before their faces, where they then expanded with a flash. A euphoric sensation swept over Natalie, flashing away any residual pain, doubt, or foggy thoughts in a sublime moment. Then as soon as it was summoned, Battra faded away, and all was silent.

"Well, looks like we're off to a good start! Shall we find a dormitory? Oh, and would you like your chalk back? :D "

By then Rhia had already placed her sword on the bedside table and started tearing through her packing, most of witch consisted of excentric clothing. "That's nice of you, but I'm alright. I'll just get these into the closet as soon as I... Ah, here they are!"

She pulled out two devices from her packing. One looked like a cellphone, the other resembled a small laptop computer. Both were went in gold and black with grey trimming. Rhia placed the computer next to her sword and took the phone in her hand.

She turned to Alexia. "Um, is it okay if I call home? I promised my family I'd phone them the minute I got here. My dad can be a bit overprotective, you see."

Dean was restless. For some reason, despite his bodies weariness, his mind was as energetic as it had ever been. After an hour of trying to will himself to sleep (in order to practice his sleep training excercises) and failing miserably, he couldnt take it anymore.

The hell with this, I'll go take a walk or something.

Dean quickly put on his shoes and headband, and headed out the door. Hopefully, this walk would do something to quiet his mind.

Hunter was walking along the various halls, wondering what he should do. He still needed some magical advice, and Toban's spirit guide wasn't offering jack when it came to this. He shrugged and started walking towards the stairs. Maybe he could find answers on his own, or perhaps someone with answers would come along later.

Standing up, Selma dusted herself off as she said "I can honestly say that was a new experience for me, and I certainly hope I can do so again. Maybe you could even teach me more about your form of magic, since its so interesting."

Smiling to Natalie, Selma offered her hand to the girl to help her up off the floor.

Unwrapping his pack, it would reveal another change of clothing, a few books including the one he was currently reading, Macbeth, a lighter, some incense sticks and a small stand. Taking the latter three, he placed the stand on the table before using the lighter to light up an incense stick.

Resting on his heels as the smoke drifted through the room, he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply before speaking aloud to no one in particular, "Arcadia is a strange school, Master Wan, but I know that the instructors here will be able to assist me in forging myself and the Sì Xiàng. I wished I could have been there for you in your last hours, but do not worry, for I shall continue practicing your teachings...Rest in peace sifu." Placing his hands together with a clap, he bowed.

Rhia gave her a concerned look, but didn't know what to say. She gestured at the balcony door. "Okay then. I'll... I'll just make my call outside, okay?"

"Thank you..." Alexia whispered.

As Rhia walked out the door, Alexia dialed in her father's number.

The call was answered immediately.

"Report." A cold voice came from the speaker.

"I...I have passed my first test, father. We are officially students now."

"So it seems. Do not fail. Is that clear, Alexia?"

She gulped. Sweat was starting to trickle from her brow.

"Y..yes..."

The voice did not get any louder, although it became much more commanding than before.

"Is that clear?"

"Y- YES!"

Alexia was starting to panic. If he got angry....

"Good. That is all."

"I...I love you, father."

Alex ended the call.

When she heard the dial tone, she sighed in relief. Closing her phone, Alexia started to breathe normally again.

"Ok...Okay! Rhia, you can come back in!"

This whole, magic spells and magic gun stuff is new to me, and I need some answers. But I'm not sure who to talk to for help or where everyone has settled in at. Know where I can get some help?" "...mein gottin, this is a predicament. I didn't bring anything with me! Excuse me for a moment, I need to find one of the instructors..."

And so she headed back out to the open floor. It was late, and other students that couldn't sleep were still about. Among them, she recognized Dean and Hunter, and walked over to them.

"Ah, hello!"

"Oh, you know," Rhia said. "Dad overreacted as usual, thretening to invade the country if something happens to me, blahblah. Mom wondered if I've been eating right and if my room is big enough, you know, mom stuff. Oh, and apparently my brother destroyed a major Asian drug cartel." She beamed. "I'm so jealous. I can't wait until I get to go on my world trip."

"Let's see, there was ....Xelis? Xelan? Whatever." His mind flashed back to the Ice Mage who had assisted him in battle against Anselm.

"I'd Imagine his field of expertise to be releated to ice, but chances are he knows more than you do about such things. There was also that chick I met earlier..."

Dean had another image dance in his head, this one of the german girl who he had Thrown at Anselm at her insistance during their battle.

Whoops. He had completely forgotten to check up on her after the battle. He was positive she was fine, but considered it rude, to not talk to her, if not out of politeness. Of course, He barely remembered her name.

"Natalia, I think her name was. She seemed to be quite skilled at such things. I dont care who you ask, but I'll accompany you, if you would like."

More like violently tossed into at something resembling Mach 5.

He seems oddly apologetic. Strange, he's usually so self confident and boisterous.

"Well, yes, it was quite a hardy maneuver, ja?" she laughed, playfully rapping a fist on the top of her head, "but we managed to do quite well together!"

She noticed Hunter was carrying some wooden trinkets he didn't have before, and the tome, which was no longer flashing red.

"Hmm...your parents sound like nice people. And your brother has some impressive feats, too." Alexia looked out the window. "I wish....I wish that I could have a family like that, too." Her voice was filled with sadness and anguish. "Just....even for a day. It would be the happiest day of my life."

Her tears rolled down her pale cheeks as she sat on her bed. "But....I guess that will never happen. If there is such a thing as fate, it is determined to make me suffer."

OOC: It's still in there, it's just hiding and biding it's time better. Also, the title is now ledgible "The Tome of Uncreation."

She grasped the tome, still feeling no prescence.

The Tome of Uncreation? she mused. Surprisingly, she found she was able to open it this time. She opened the book partway, and turned the pages. A sudden look of consternation spread over the witch's face, and she began to turn them with great fervor.

"Mein Gottin..."

This continued for several minutes, it seemed something major was brewing in her mind. When she was finished, she then turned to Hunter, and opened the book to again.

"...I cannot see anything on the page, there seems to be nothing written in this book!"

Sure enough there was the page as it was held in her hand, blank.

"Hmm...your parents sound like nice people. And your brother has some impressive feats, too." Alexia looked out the window. "I wish....I wish that I could have a family like that, too." Her voice was filled with sadness and anguish. "Just....even for a day. It would be the happiest day of my life."

Her tears rolled down her pale cheeks as she sat on her bed. "But....I guess that will never happen. If there is such a thing as fate, it is determined to make me suffer."

Rhia sat down next to her. "Hey, don't talk like that. In this world we make our own fate, and no one is supposed to suffer. You can still love, right? My mother always said that as long as you can love, you can do anything. And, well, I don't know anything about your family, but..." she lowered her voice, suddenly a bit embarassed "...I always did wish I had a sister."

Alexia smiled sadly. "I wish I could be your sister." She looked at Rhia. "But I can't. I can never be so close to a person, not after what has happened to me. But as long as we are friends, that does not matter to me."

Rhia returned the smile. "That's okay, being your friend is fine for now. And I won't ask what you've been through, but I don't belive in impossibilites. No one can tell for sure what the future brings, after all."

She's such a silly girl, she thought fondly. She's so scared, but she still opens up so easily, almost as if she doesn't realise that she's doing it.

"Well," she said and stood up. "Better finish the unpacking. Tomorrow is almost here, after all."

Instead I use dimensional magic to take elements that already exist from...somewhere," Hunter said, unsure of where those things came from. "Instead of making my own fire, I bring forth fire from somewhere else like so," and with that shadows flashed for the breifest of moments, and in it's place, hovering above his hand, was fire. Hellfire... "Also, I made these guns out of magic and my own energy. But mostly I just want to know how I'm doing all this. I know the spells, but I don't know in the slightest how these spells actually work. I guess what I'm saying is I don't know the fundamentals. Like a tv I can operate it, but I still don't know how the tv works."

This must be a mage thing..but then...

Dean didnt think Hunter to be insane, rambling about his books spells and writing only he could see, but he did find it odd that he was unable to make anything out, nor was natalie, who was more skilled then Hunter in regards to magical arts, atleast as far as Dean was aware.

"If something is there" Dean said as he looked at Hunter "It's beyond our abilities to see, apparently."

She peered down and noticed the headstrong Japanese boy who charged headlong into brawls with the teachers earlier in the day.

"Oh, Selma! Hello! Or ought I to say evening? Anyways, look at that..."

She pointed to the glass portal she made in the floor, down at Kekowa who was going through a routine, a practice extremely foreign to her.

Now he felt midly stupid, going up to a girl who she doesn't even know. But, never the less, Ramon remembered why he tracked her down. Kekowa started to grow tired, he was drentched in sweat and was a little hungry. He hadnt had anything to eat since the bowl of rice on the ship and he needed to replace his lost energy. Its a good thing he was on a high carb diet. He stopped practing and started to wander the dorms, perhaps he could find one of the other students and mayeb get something from them.

OOC: Now would be a good time for him to run into Natalie, Hunter and Dean just saying;)

Dean looked closely at the girl who presented herself. His Memory had never been the best, but he was certain she looked familar. Of course, He couldnt remember her name, even if they had, so It was of little Importance.

"Dean Gatlain" He stated factually "Nice to meet you also."

Hunter was lost in the book. Suddenly he slammed it down on the ground and brought forth his dark chi aura, and brought forth his psychic energies, even going as far as opening his third eye which he had been hiding since he had arrived, a large, sickly yellow eye. Then he brought forth his new found magic, and his two normal eyes turned black as night, and red sigils appeared on his arms. He held his hands open, and in his right hand appeared a deep red flame, and in the left, dark shadows gathered. He sent portions of his chi, psychic, and magical energies into those two shapes, forming them into two guns, two six shooters, one red and orange, one dark. These weapons were a part of him, extensions of his energies.
Suddenly his aura left him, his third eye closed, and his eyes and arms turned back to normal. He blinked a few times, and then finally noticed Xellos. "Hello," Hunter said, feeling embarrassed.

Well holy shit...

Hunter was already a chi user and psychic. Now the tome had imparted magic too.

Hunter felt the weight of the magic spell guns in his hand, realized what all had happened, and quickly left Xellos and ran out of his new room with his spell book and newly fashioned guns. He didn't know what to do, this whole magic thing was new to him, he wasn't supposed to be able to do this, was he? He was too excited and frightened to think straight, surely there was someone in the dorm he could talk to who knew about this kind of thing. "Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap," he said to himself.

At first stunned by Hunters' actions, he let him run.

He seems confused. This must be very new to him...

He followed Hunter, eventually tracking him down (I gave up after I found the 4the 4th quote...)

"You are a very intriguing specimen Hunter. It is exceedingly rare to find someone with ability in magic, chi and psychic. These are 3 very different schools of combat, and rely on 3 different power sources. Yet, you are exceptional even among this group, for your chi is dark and your magic...somewhat demonic in nature. You walk a revolutionary but perilous path...I'm hoping to make sure you don't fall."

Peter looked up at him from his guitar, paused for a moment, as if considering what to say, then looked back down at his guitar and began to fiddle with it once more, "Thanks."

He was silent for a moment, then continued, "You didn't do so bad, either."

"Your manipulation of gravity is quite intriguing. May I enquire how it works? How did you learn it?"

OOC: I think Ill try my hand at being sociable

Kekowa grew tired of practing his moves and made his way thru the dorms. He found Peter who was fiddling with his guitar and conversing with another student.

"Hello their," Speaking to Peter "I just wanted to tell you great job in the test. For a mage you have alot of guts, jumping into battle with your sword. I also want to apoligize for breaking your nose during the last fight, but then again I still feel the sting of your blade so I guess where about even, haha. But seriously I hope we can work together in the future." Kekowa extended his hand to him as a sign of friendship "I dont belive we've been proporly introduced, names Kekowa Hasegawa of Tokyo, Japan pleased to meet you."

OOC: I'll play along. Xellos will be somewhat contemptious of Kekowa, while Kekowa harbours that animosity.

Ahh, the man who not only grabs the bull by the horns, but then tries to headbutt it into submission...

Xellos was midly annoyed that Kekowa had injected himself into the conversation without so much as an apology. He couldn't say he was surprised however.

Dean looked closely at the girl who presented herself. His Memory had never been the best, but he was certain she looked familar. Of course, He couldnt remember her name, even if they had, so It was of little Importance.

"Hello Dean, Hunter." Selma said as she bowed slightly to the two, mentally smirking as the great coconut vs. pineapple debate replayed in her head.

OOC: How could you *not* run into us? It's pretty much a big ass Gang of students. Assuming your on the same floor, or going downstairs, it's more or less guaranteed. :D

OOC: either that or well..i kinda wrote in an encounter based on the transmuted glass window in the floor. We're kinda watching him do kata I guess? Plus its a window, if we can see him, he can see us.

Having watched Kekowa, Selma said "I believe he was doing some kind of training with his body energy or "chi", something my sensei back home tried to teach me when I was younger."

Kekowa started to grow tired, he was drentched in sweat and was a little hungry. He hadnt had anything to eat since the bowl of rice on the ship and he needed to replace his lost energy. Its a good thing he was on a high carb diet. He stopped practing and started to wander the dorms, perhaps he could find one of the other students and mayeb get something from them.

Natalie noticed his movements becoming slower and weaker. Confused at the lack of vigor, she asked Selma:

"But are such forms usually so...oblong and winded?"

Well holy shit...

Hunter was already a chi user and psychic. Now the tome had imparted magic too.

At first stunned by Hunters' actions, he let him run.

He seems confused. This must be very new to him...

Placing a rudimentary magical barrier around the book, he followed Hunter, eventually tracking him down (I gave up after I found the 4the 4th quote...)

"You are a very intriguing specimen Hunter. It is exceedingly rare to find someone with ability in magic, chi and psychic. These are 3 very different schools of combat, and rely on 3 different power sources. Yet, you are exceptional even among this group, for your chi is dark and your magic...somewhat demonic in nature. You walk a revolutionary but perilous path...I'm hoping to make sure you don't fall."

OOC: Hunter took the book with him.

Natalie still didn't remember an encounter on the ship, but welcomed Ramon anyways.

"Well, come and join us. Well...hmm, estraunglich, from the level of magic you wielded against Herr Jericho and Frau Ruman...yet you really are unfamiliar with scrying? It is largely a matter of focus, ja?"

Ramon smirked at the words Natalie replied back to him. He replied a little jaunty this time.

"Well, scrying is something that is hard for me to grasp. To clear my head out and to actually focus, it's hard. When I try to do it, the shadows of my doubt pop up and it tends to reflect on the image for the worse. I just figured that someone of your stature can do a good scry, so I can put some personal demons to rest." Or start seeing them for the first time, Ramon thought grimly.
