"No it's fine....i've gotten a LOT of time to mull it over. At first I thought it was just his dedication to his art, which was amazing, but highly violent (we sparred for fun but he got very very violent with it) (he could run on water! water of all things!.....) but after I had Ramus........it got weirder. Once the boy could walk he was pushing him, pressing the toddler to run everywhere, not walk. Then there were the days when he would try to leave the boy outside if he didn't run somehwere with an obscene amount of weight on his back, leaving him no dinner! I had to go and get the poor boy. THen there was the day I got fed up with it. He asked me to coem see his training, and I, already frustrated with it, decided to witness this. I saw hi taunting our son, SEVEN years old, seven mind you.calling hima bitch, and failure among things, since he couldn't run with a turtle on his back a live turtle. What ended it for me was when eh hit the boy and started to wail on him. I barely noticed the start, for himb eing so quick, but i was able to catch him in the act to get him off our son. After I hit him off he smiled, and then I heard a snap.....and he had broken my arm! I cringed at the pain, and he then left. Me with a almost irrepairable arm....and my son..with no father. I ahd to raise that boy the last ten years on my own"

Dean had a bad feeling about this. Nothing was ever simple with his friend, was it? Still, some part of Dean couldnt help but wonder what the hell Xing had in mind.

It couldnt be any worse than Marrige, after all. And besides, there would be flexing.

"What the hell" Dean said, smiling. "Let's hear what you've got in mind."

Xing was about to speak his idea, but the heavens had obviously sent a deity down to prevent the horribly obscure idea (which involved complete nudity save for a thong and much flexing) from reaching the ears of Dean and anyone in the immediate area. Said deity was Kagura, whom Dean became quite engrossed in conversation with.

Scratching his head as they spoke, Xing became dumbfounded as the conversation continued. At one point, it looked as if an argument would break, and gentle soul that he was, Xing was quite unwilling for such to happen. He was about to speak up, his mouth was open, and then he felt his voice get caught in his throat as he felt blood beggining to erupt from him.

Immediately covering his mouth, Xing stumbled his way out of the arena, ignoring the cheers and gasps of amazement of the current match as he ran his way out. Once he was a safe distance away, Xing removed his hand from his mouth, letting the blood drip off as if it were drool.

"Why.....!?" Xing punched the nearby walls, and though he was certainly no where as strong as his father, a sizable crack did form on the walls from the strong pressure, "Why is this happening!? What in Heaven's...."

Stopping himself before he went too far, Xing sighed and stopped to arrange his thoughts.

The hooded man... I need to find him. I cannot allow myself to be like this when it's my turn... But where is--mmpf

Xing felt a strong hand clamp over his mouth, and felt his body being tugged back. Instinct caused Xing to bring his arm back in an attempt to knock down whoever had him. No effect. Then he heard the same muffled voice.

"This will be alot easier for the both of us, if you calm down..."

"You? Why are you....?"

"That isn't important, Xing. What's important is that I give you your medicine." The strong hands moved down to Xing's chest and applied a powerful pressure. Xing felt something surge throughout his chest and then his body felt whole again, "There, that should do it."

Releasing Xing, the young martial artist took a few step forwards before turning around to look at his benefactor. Bowing in thanks, Xing was about to make his way when he remembered what he'd promised his brother.

"Excuse me? Do not mistake my asking you this as an act of confrontation, but for what reason do you wish to aid me?" Xing asked, "I am yet oblivious to your identity, but... for some reason, I feel that you are familiar."

"I'm sorry, child, but I am not at the liberty to provide you such information. And if you find me familiar, surely I need no reason to relent my identity. Just be grateful that I'm saving you from death itself."

The threat nearly prompted Xing to allow the man to be let go. Nearly. Xing had no intention on breaking the promise he had made with his brother. Grabbing onto the wrists of the hooded man, Xing stared right at where he expected the man's eyes to be with absolute seriousness.

"Listen, I made a promise many hours ago, and I intend to keep it. Why are you doing this?"

Sighing, the man said, "I really don't want to damage you. You'll need all the stamina you have for the next fight. But surely, this would not be beyond your ability to avoid."

"What do----!?" Xing's ears picked something up and he turned to see a strange light forming about two meters away. The light charged at him and instantly, Xing turned around, drawing his Dao and slicing the light in mid-air, "Bian Fu Quan: Yi Qie!"

Turning around, Xing realized that the man was gone. Sheathing back his Dao, Xing groaned.

Who in the world is he...?

Nor does she go around kicking crippled people. See, if Xellos wasn't such a self-righteous dick that seems to be wanting to attract every ounce of trouble in the immediate area, she would be more accepting of his making a move on Natalie.

See, if Xellos wants to bring doom upon himself, then Selma has no problem with it. But he's possibly going to bring doom down on Natalie as well if they get together, which is where Selma draws the line.

Xellos was created as a skilled manipulator, and thus being a skilled liar is a prerequisite. Furthermore, alot, if not all of what he tells is the truth and provides at least some insight.

Xellos could use his magic to maintain his heartbeat, but he'd have to be conscious of it. Meaning he could, if he wanted to, use his magic for that purpose, but its not something that would automatically occur to him unless he was sure he wanted to deceive someone.

Sure, she didnt give a definate answer as to the location, but she *Did* agree on the proposal. He could scarsely resist the urge to flex his biceps in victory.

Of course, he was slightly dissapointed he didnt get to implement plan B. Through use of his Shingan, he could have convinced Kagura she liked him, when she did infact, not. The Shingan never lied, ever if it's owner did.

That was unecessary, however, she did like him, and she did agree. So victory was his.

Now, who's face should I rub my victory in? Ramus? Nope. Shuns rubbing his face in the pavement....Jon? No, I'd probally strangle him, And I havnt seen Ilias all morning...Xing is probally still in shock about what the hell just happened-not often does one see the master at work...

Dean would had to make due with the fact that he gotten Kagura to agree to his terms.

He made a solem vow, to not get his ass kicked today. Chicks arnt into that sorta thing, and It's bad manners to be bleeding to death during a date.

I'm confused the kicking Alexia thing is still being brought up. It was the best decision possible at the time, much better than pushing her. It can be used as a joke for why Xellos is a dick, but it can't stand up to any kind of serious debate.

As for attracting trouble with Clockworks while courting Natalie, now that's a good reason. Why is Selma 'unsure' though?

He's got a point, though; occassionally Xellos does seem to go out of his way to attract enemies. ^^;

OOC: Seriously, aside from the fact that she was crippled at the time, Alexia is the daughter of one of Clockworks' rulers. Remember how I said Royale would be returning? Yeah, Alex is going to convince him to play some games with Xellos. And by play some games, I mean shoot him with some harpoons and psychologically torture him.

They didnt. Dean was in shock by Kaguras dismissal of his proposal. When he was running through the dozens of possible answers Kagura would give him, the idea of her actually declining never came up.

And why would it? It was a statistical anomality. He would have a better chance of getting struck by lightining, then for something like this to happen.

Dean quickly gazed to the sky, to make sure no thunderclouds were overhead.

He attempted to figure out a reason for Kaguras response, but he couldnt come up with a logical explination. Maybe it was a female thing, but he didnt know what it was, if that was the case.

"But....Why?" Dean asked, cleary still in shellshock over what had just transpired.

"Justin's an awesome fighter, as his girlfriend I should know." Tamiko, giggling slightly, a smile on her face.

Justin smiled at both of Tamiko's comments. "Well, your a amazing fighter to. Remember, you took out those opponents with much effort".

"That's a pretty sick joke, even for you." Tamiko, her hands on her hips, looking visibly annoyed.

"It's no joke, you were there, you saw it." Kado then reached out grabbed her hand. He then sent her a psychic image of Gregory's funeral, including Tamiko, in a black dress, crying and being consoled by Kado and her parents.

Tamiko pulled her hand away, then shouted. "NO! Your lying!" Her body shaking from emotion, she falls down to the floor, face in her hands, crying, trying to erase the mental image from her mind.

Kado, hesitates, unsure what to do, "I'm sorry Sis." He speaks softly. Then kneels down next to her, his hand on her shoulder, "I'm sorry Sis."

Dean didnt know what to do. He had never prepared for such an occurance. He had lost physical battles, sure, and had occassionally been rejected, but he didnt actually like them anyways, so it didnt matter.

But to be rejected by someone he actively sought after? To casually dismiss him, like ants beneath her heels? It just didnt happen. It was almost unbearable. Almost.

Reaching her goal, she asked the person closest concerned, "What has happened...?"

For a brief moment she balanced on the decition of which friend to attempt to help, but when she saw the small crowd assembling around Tamiko -including a worried looking Django- she sighed. Sorry, Tamiko. Hang in there a while longer...

Instead she approached Dean and sat down next to him. "Hey, Dean. You okay?"

Dean had spent several moments in hectic contemplation. Kagura had thrown him completely on his metaphorical ass. Nothing made sense anymore. The sky was pink, the earth was triangular, one plus one equaled pie. The fact that he had been rejected, was bad, but the fact that he didnt know *Why*, that was the killer.

He absently considered the option that when Kagura said she wasnt interested in dating anyone, she meant it. He quickly deduced that to be a lie, and to be some sort of personal failing of his own.

I just cant figure it out.... Is it my height? Sure, I'm not as tall as Garthin, but I'm atleast average....Maybe it was because I lost to Jon, I've obviously gotten weaker-

Dean had spent several moments in hectic contemplation. Kagura had thrown him completely on his metaphorical ass. Nothing made sense anymore. The sky was pink, the earth was triangular, one plus one equaled pie. The fact that he had been rejected, was bad, but the fact that he didnt know *Why*, that was the killer.

He absently considered the option that when Kagura said she wasnt interested in dating anyone, she meant it. He quickly deduced that to be a lie, and to be some sort of personal failing of his own.

I just cant figure it out.... Is it my height? Sure, I'm not as tall as Garthin, but I'm atleast average....Maybe it was because I lost to Jon, I've obviously gotten weaker-

Natalie sat and took this in. He had been there to support Selma in a time of strife and need, and she found this admirable. Yet in spite of that she wasn't exactly charmed by Kekowa's opinion on her; in fact she found it somewhat blatant and odd.

Open her mind to those that care for her? I've actually been inside there. About three times now, she thought to herself.

I thought this brave but then she started to turn feral, her eyes became like a beast, her hair went wild and fangs and claws started to form. Natalie made sure nobody was looking, and psionically spoke to Xellos. She figured it would be safe to, besides that last burst, she knew him to be a trusted confidant and a reliable friend.

Tamiko had become the heart of an assassination plot before the term had even started. When I was in her mindscape, it was a barren wasteland void of emotion. Lehrer Bloodmoon and I, we found her heart, the very essence of her being, sealed away by a cursed rune, one which she read as the brand of one called 'Solarius'

She then projected imagery from her memories into Xellos' mind; the Dark Tamiko that grappled with the teacher, a tool of malice and quite unlike herself.

What was there, in her heart, it had become tainted. And for all I could see...she even embraced it. But it seems Bloodmoon has rectified that.

She looked over to Tamiko, happily chatting and playing along with Justin.

I am not sure that is entirely her any longer, but I also know I've never seen her so much as smile before...

Tapping her staff three times on the ground, she channeled the essence of the light energy, and small sparking globes hovered below each bulb socket, illuminating the medical bay - at least for now.

Outside, Tomoe huffed, still rubbing her head where Monk Shu had smacked her. Mai, on the other hand, was trembling. Standing perfectly still on Shu's staff as a balance exercise, she was supposed to remain there for an hour, but she didn't know if she could.

Monk Shu and Levi were seated nearby drinking tea when Levi asked, "How did sifu Wan die?" Shu frowned some as he placed his tea down, "Quite a morbid subject to bring up at this time, Levi..." With a sigh, he continued, "...but unlike myself, Wan believed that using chi to extend one's life was unnatural. He lived a long and happy life and thankfully, died a peaceful and natural death."

Just because the hooded man had managed to escape his sights, did not mean that Xing was unwilling to attempt to find the man. However, though Xing searched frantically for the mysterious man, even utilizing his Chi Sense at one point, his location proved as elusive as his identity. No where was he in sight, and eventually Xing had to face the reality that as impossible as it seemed the man was long gone.

Then a hand clamped itself on his shoulder, but Xing made no attempt to brush it off. He knew who it was.

"Looking a little bit tired there, Xing." Xiong Wei said, "I'm sure you wouldn't mind telling your old teacher why you look as if you've been running across the world."

"It's nothing Li Shi Fu."

"If you insist. I must say that your friends are impressive. Certainly, I think it's going to be something to tell Wang Shi Fu about."

"Hmmm? Tell Wang Shi Gong? What do you mean?"

And teacher and student walking, chatting about how each had been during the time they were separated when Xing spotted Levi. Remembering the news he heard of Levi having been made the Captain of their dorm, Xing thought it only polite that he congratulate his friend.

"Wei!" Xing called as he, along with Xiong Wei made their way to Levi, "I have heard that you recently have been promoted Captain of our Dorm! I offer my congratulations, and hope that you may be able to lead us to our victory!"

Wary for the mischievous nature of kitsune as they were known for as often as being helpful, she looked about carefully, and struck the wall and implanted a rune of essence, then proceeded.

"Hello?"

She opened a metal door and found a room rather poorly lit. Raising her staff she drew a small orb of light on the tip to illuminate her vision and called out again.

Then a hand clamped itself on his shoulder, but Xing made no attempt to brush it off. He knew who it was.

"Looking a little bit tired there, Xing." Xiong Wei said, "I'm sure you wouldn't mind telling your old teacher why you look as if you've been running across the world."

"It's nothing Li Shi Fu."

"If you insist. I must say that your friends are impressive. Certainly, I think it's going to be something to tell Wang Shi Fu about."

"Hmmm? Tell Wang Shi Gong? What do you mean?"

"Yes, I never did tell you why me and your father are here. Well, Wang Shi Fu sent us here to check up on the competetion. I can say this. I wouldn't be suprised if any of the ones we send for the World Tournament start having trouble with your friends. But enough about that. Come, walk with me."

And teacher and student walking, chatting about how each had been during the time they were separated when Xing spotted Levi. Remembering the news he heard of Levi having been made the Captain of their dorm, Xing thought it only polite that he congratulate his friend.

"Wei!" Xing called as he, along with Xiong Wei made their way to Levi, "I have heard that you recently have been promoted Captain of our Dorm! I offer my congratulations, and hope that you may be able to lead us to our victory!"

Blinking, Levi caught sight of the voice whom spoke to him, offering a smile to Xing as he approached, "Thank you for your praise. It still surprises me..."

It was a bumpy ride. On the way Natalie nearly fell off from her seating, and ended up straddling the fox with her arms around his neck holding on for dear life. However, eventually, he stopped in an odd corner of the arena and growled. With a slight groan, Natalie pulled herself off of the kitsune and wobbled to her feet on her staff.

"Dankeschoen! Or...arigatou?...well I wish I knew Egyptian, I'm not sure about the formalities, ja?" she giggled as she scratched his head. Then she realized, she had no idea where she was. Wary for the mischievous nature of kitsune as they were known for as often as being helpful, she looked about carefully, and struck the wall and implanted a rune of essence, then proceeded.

"Hello?"

She opened a metal door and found a room rather poorly lit. Raising her staff she drew a small orb of light on the tip to illuminate her vision and called out again.

"Charlotte-san?"

"We'll test that out later. Right now, we have to find Instructor Kelly or Instructor Bloodmoon and let them know your here."

Surely it is a runic-base, but...he is able to project his will over others with a single sigil."

She took another sip and closed her eyes, letting the hot liquid steady her heart.

"Why? Do you have more information?"

"For her sake, I must say that though she's been feeling better as of late, she stillfeels so obligated to hold onto others and protect them without regard for herself. It's both noble and unreasonably dangerous."

With that, Natalie turned and walked off to check on Tamiko (OOC: which was in the past, because now Natalie is elsewhere.)

"No way this turkey is mine!" The Sniper fired only to find after the smoke cleared nothing was their. "Wait did I get him? He's not their thats..."

"What Impossible?" Kekowa said right behind the sniper. He smashed his foot into the snipers collarbone pinning him with little effort. "Im going to make this real simple, no muss, no fuss, no pain. Who sent you?"

The sniper gasped for air "It was the hands under captain Youjiro, they wanted revenge for his death." Kekowa had a scowl on his face "BullShit." He said calmly as he crushed his collarbone. "Theirs two things wrong with that. If that where true they woudl fight me themself and they wouldnt do that because their captian died in disgrace because he violated a blood treaty." Kekowa bent over still pinning the sniper down with his right foot. "Ill make this so simple a idiot can understand. You dont give me the answers I want, I break a bone." Kekowa pulled his right arm up. The sniper was screaming in pain "Who sent you? tell me and the pain goes away." The sniper decided to get tough "F- You I aint telling you shit, worthless piece of street trash YEEEYOWW" Kekowa broke the top part of his arm bone above the elbow. "WHO sent you, its really simple." Tears where streaming down the assassin's face "please have mer..OH GOD!" Kekowa grabbed his arm again and broke both of the bones in his upper arm. "I admire your spirit, really I do you must be in agonizing pain. However," Kekowa said as he wrapped his huge hand over the snipers balled up fist. "I must have that information, so if you dont tell me I will crush your hand, and all of the bones in it. You'll be a walking freak, of no use to no one, your bosses will understand the rest of your arm will heal with time but if I crush your hand you'll be a one armed hitman, not very effective. So tell me before I end you." The sniper cried and howled but he finially gave a name "Usei, it was Usei, he has some minor connections and wanted you dead so bad he paid me 10 G's up front and promised another 100 if I nailed you. Please dont kill me DK,(One of Kekowa's many names, DK refers to the moniker "Demon King") I swear ill never come after you, let me live and I am in your debt for life.' Kekowa stood up "Yes you wont come after me again." Kekowa dug his boot into the sipers spine cracking a few bones. Kekowa bent down and removed the headset from him he spoke into the speaker. "I dont know if this is his handler or employer on this end. If it his handler know that im coming for you next and I will intorrgate you more throughly, if it is his employer, know that more horrific torment awaits you." Kekowa crushed the headset in his hands.

After taking a deep breath and calming down and getting out of his "Demon" persona he zipped down to the Arena.

Taking another sip of tea, Charlotte looked over her cup and said "You obviously know the threat that he poses to not only you, but those you hold dear."

"As such, I wish to help you with matters of the heart, if you would allow me to do so. It breaks my own heart to see the turmoil and trouble the situation causes you and those you hold dear, especially considering the imminent threat that Solarius poses."

"For those reasons and more, I want to assist you in any way I can, if you would accept my help."

She telekinetically held the ball into place in front of her as continued to soar on the broom.

Dean was reluctant to explain what had transpired. He could scarsely believe it himself, and feared to say it outloud would have some unforseen consequence.

Nevertheless, explain he did.

"I think..." Dean began slowly, still realing from his complete and total failure. "Kagura just turned down my offer for a date."

Rhia tried to imagine Dean and Kagura on a date. Then she tried her best not to laugh at the mental image. She had a feeling that wouldn't help cheer him up.

"That... That's too bad, Dean," she said.

Dean looked at Rhia, cleary confused.

BTC: Xellos seated himself behind and away from them. Therapy sessions were best conducted on a 1 to 1 basis, and Rhia was better at the constructive aspect than he was.

The large smile that spread across his face defeated all notions of trying to be empathic after he had listened discreetly (read: easedropped) to the conversation thus far. Leveling the spoon at Dean, Ilias spoke slowly, enunciating the words very clearly and carefully.

"Quit being a wuss, Dean. You should know better than this."

Knowing Dean, saying any more than that would get lost in the jello that was his mind; Ilias had learnt long ago that speaking in anything but small sentences with him allowed Dean to seriously warp what had been said. And even then, it wasn't a sure thing.

Ilias had tried writing it down on paper, but somehow, when he had gotten it back, it had been rewritten to something totally different. If he hadn't known any better, he himself would have thought he'd written it.
