Alex walked straight into a hailstorm of firepower. His face didn't have time to register surprise as his body was torn apart by high calibre rounds. then incinerated by the following missles.

A Xanatos mech walked out from its hiding spot.

"So, he was merely testing himself. He may be able to beat my sealed form if he continues to grow like this."

Alex walked away, putting his hands in the pockets of his black trench coat as he did.

"And if his luck holds, he may be worthy to witness my true power."

His smile could have frozen a flame elemental with its coldness.

"Unfortunately for him, I've been training."

As the sunlight hit's her face, Tamiko finally stirs from her deep sleep. Rubbing her eyes with one hand, then slowly sitting up in the bed, she looks around - confused and scared, with no memory of what happened after she passed out.

Justin, sleeping in a chiar next to her bed.

With the Monkey King Staff in hand, Levi approached. The moment of truth had arrived; would they be the ones to somehow win, or will the Norn be like the raging river and they a simple pebble?

A grin broke out across Ilias' face. This would certainly be. . . interesting.

Focusing on the man's torso (from which all movements begin), Ilias knew that the black-clad swordsman was right. The speed that Jason had just employed was greater than his own by quite a bit, and since his muscles hadn't strained at all to pull it off from what he could tell, Ilias figured that that wasn't even near Jason's max speed.

Which he had figured out from the beginning, either way. After all, he didn't want to learn from these people because he could compete with them in strengh--he wanted to be trained by someone who out classed him by so much that his own potential would be pressed to show itself, to develop, to make him into what he wanted to be. And it seemed that these people were, indeed, what he had been looking for all along.

Ilias didn't bother to give any sign he even acknowledged what Jason had said, and blurred forward, his body moving with a dancer's grace, flowing across the ground, his feet barely touching the ground at all.


Jason smirked as Ilias came towards him like a dancer moving gracefully across a stage. "You have talent kid" he said as he pulled his swords back, looking like he was skiing on a slope. "But you need to practice a whole lot more" he said as he bent his knees at an angle, waiting for the student to make his move.

Charlotte frowned as she watched him disappear back to the roof, her tails bristling in aggitation as she thought 'The fool doesn't even make a token attempt to listen to my wishes. Oh well, looks like I have no choice but to teach him a lesson in respecting the privacy of others.'

Teleporting behind him again, she placed her hand on his shoulder as she said "Spying does not build trust. It builds nothing but distrust between you and the person you're spying on, to mention nothing of how rude it is."

Charlotte smiled and said "As punishment for your invasion of the privacy of others, not to mention the rudeness you're showing them and you've shown me, I shall show you why such actions are not acceptable."

Charlotte's smile disappeared as she said "Now, let us leave them alone."

They disappeared from the roof again, once more reappearing in the hotel lobby. Placing her finger on Xellos' forehead, she chanted a spell in a demonic language, and Xellos' eyes went blank and his face went slack for a moment before returning to normal, a small, intricate tattoo appearing in the center of his forehead.

"Since you enjoy spying on others and invading their privacy, your punishment is that you cannot speak to anyone without revealing a secret about yourself to the person. Let us see if you enjoy having your secrets exposed to others without your consent."

She turned to leave, but stopped, looked to him with a bright smile and said "Please know that I and only I alone can remove this curse, something I may do later on if I decide that you're truly repentant. I pray that you have a good day, young Xellos."

Turning again, she walked away, tails swishing behind her gently as she walked.

OOC: Yo. This is something major. PM me about it next time before you just slap a curse on me. Xellos reveals info to Natalie and Rhia regularly anyway. I'll play half ball with you this time. I'll just disregard her and continue next time.

Xellos smiled, masking the irritation burning within. Though he'd studied dispelling, it wasn't something he practiced often, he couldn't just undo this one on the spot.

On His way to the Stadium a clerk at the frint desk called him. "hey you their, arnt you Kekowa Hasegawa?" Kekowa looked back confused. "Why yes I am what can I do for you?" The clerk reached underneath the counter and produced a very long package. "this came for you last night, its adress care of Tokyo Japan, Shinjuku district. Theres a charge of..." Kekowa quickly grabbed it "Put it on my Tab!"

Kekowa raviously ripped open the box. In side their was a card

A sword. (OOC: if any of you are familiar with Rorouni Kenshin its very simular to Long dual Kodachi sword that Aoshi carries later in the series) It was a long sword or so it seemed. The sheath was metal but a high class shine and camoflouge made the sheath look wooden. That was good because it was not a long sword, instead it was two Kodachi's in one scabrab. One with a guard and one without making it seem like a long sword. it had a long strap so it could be slung over the back and clasic ties in case he wanted to wear it like a normal Katana.

Kekowa slung the Kodachi sword sheath, over his back and quickly caught up with the group.

He walked into the arena carrying the weapon and a huge grin.

OOC: Like I said sorry if its rather sudden, but Cleric forced me to introduce it now, my plan was to have kekowa get a feel for them before the Finals began, but oh well.

As he moved forward, Ilias shifted his grip on his gladius into a far more offensively orientated position at the last moment before he reached Jason, and then, in the hopes of gaining a few precious seconds of suprised hesitation, in those last brief steps, he quit restraining his speed.

As he took that last step, Ilias' footing changed, moving him fluidly into a far lower stance, and swept his long sword upwards in a swift, flowing arc, in the hopes of adding a new cleft to Jason's chin(not to mention the rest of his face)

OOC: Ironically, Xellos is less brutal than he would normally allow himself to be because of of the thought 'What would Natalie think of me?' echoing in his skull.

"Hey Jason...end stop fucking around" Wilks yelled.

"Yeah, I want to see the finals" Willy said to.

Jason nodded as he held his swords right out in front of him in an way that the crisscrossing blades formed an X.

"Sorry, play time is over" Jason said as the cheerful expression melted way in to the face of a cold killer. With a small kick of his feet off the ground, Jason vanished from sight. leaving only Ilias stading in the field.

Jason was.. everywhere. Ilias could sense the blades, and even hear the soft murmurs of cloth brushing on cloth, but they came from all directions. This was a speed far beyond him; no, far beyond anything he thought possible. Focusing his mind, pushing hard on all of his senses, and tried to pinpoint Jason's position, once again to no avail.

Settling himself, Ilias resigned himself to defense, and waited, his Blade Communion on high allert, his senses straining to feel for the attack to come.

1. He's not quite as bad as Alex. Generally speaking, Xellos is a bastard when he wants to be (jump kicking Alexia not withstanding;) ). Alex doesn't need to try.

2. Xellos might indulge himself with a bit of petty retribution if it was easily gotten. However, her power level means its not worth the trouble.

Jason was.. everywhere. Ilias could sense the blades, and even hear the soft murmurs of cloth brushing on cloth, but they came from all directions. This was a speed far beyond him; no, far beyond anything he thought possible. Focusing his mind, pushing hard on all of his senses, and tried to pinpoint Jason's position, once again to no avail.

Settling himself, Ilias resigned himself to defense, and waited, his Blade Communion on high allert, his senses straining to feel for the attack to come.

Letting out a relieved sigh, let his body's tensed muscles relax, and dropped his hands to rest at his side. As he did so, he let go of the blades, and as they fell, they dematerialized into nothing.

Listening to Jason's words, he totally agreed with them. He really could have killed him ten times--and that was probably a rather conservative estimate. Following the rest of the team, which seemed to have excepted him now that this test had adjorned, a faint smile spread across his face, and he began to follow them towards the Arena, humming all the while.

In a village just outside the ancient Mayan ruins, tourists may accommodate themselves for a trip to visit these monoliths of the past, vast shrines of the earth to both heaven and the underworld.

It was most unfortunate that someone had to disturb the spirits from their rest in a desperate plot for something trivial like fortune or glory, for Chaac the lord of storms was like most Mayan gods, a cyclical entity.

Like the monsoons he wrought, it was a cycle of wrath.

A blood-stained child lay bound to the four corners of a table in a house in the normally quiet village, the efforts to stop him were futile until the local shaman had incapacitated him with an elixir gleaned from the skin of dart frogs. The boy was awake now, and the Shaman, beside himself, tried his best to follow along with the missionary.

"I cast you out! Unclean spirits!"

The child's eyes rolled into the back of his head, and with a bloodcurdling cry, with his arm he began to crack the table under his might. Those standing by started backward, but were roused back to attention by a thunderclap. The rains began to fall, first a trickle, then accompanied by a terrible wind. They were all beside themselves.

In the opposite side of the village outside of the scene sat a stranger clad in a white cloak, rather drab in appearance for all the mud strewn near floor level. About her neck from a plain strip of leather was an ankh, and in her hand lazily hanging was a tassle. But strangest of all were the visions within the crystal ball, that of an uproarious stadium cheering in anticipation for young warriors.

Another screech and the snapping of wood divert her attention.

"...where did this rain come from," she sighed,"Erlich du Gott, is it my mission to find them or are they following me..."

She paced slowly through the howling rain in the darkness, trying not to soak her feet but when she felt the mud licking at her knee, she gave up and stomped right through into the crowd.

"Enschuldigen!" she sang out as she pushed her way through, removing her hood as she did so. Immediately upon seeing the child, she held the crystal ball up to his face and peered through, as if it were a lens of truth.

"Sonderbar, the old relics do live!" she said aloud to the dismay of those watching. She turned her head and managed an embarrased chuckle.

"...nein, this is definitely a problem, ja~?"

Immediately after the words left her mouth, a final crack escaped the wood and the boy rushed forward. However before any harm could come to the stranger, her cloak came to life and bound him within it. She turned her head and stood face to face with his gnashing teeth.

"...oh. I suppose all that human sacrifice wasn't warranted after all. Well, no matter then."

Hanging the rope slack she began to walk in a circle, the boy suspended by the shroud. Then her crystal ball also animated and hung in the air above him, and the air about it began to grow dark revealing the phantasm that wracked his body.

"Chaac? Interesting," she smiled

Women experienced human touch much more frequently than men, with just cause. Among most societies, 99% of any physical contact by males was interpreted as greeting, fighting or sexual overture. Women did it much more frequently than their male counterparts, just to express affection. Up to this day, the status quo remained for both sexes.

Selma did it more frequently than most in hope that it would endear her romantically to Natalie, but the point was valid nonetheless. Hey Kold I was hoping Sirus could join my team against the Norn captain. It'd be Kekowa, Selma, Sirus and Ramus if he's up to it. Ramus because he's the fastest, Sirus because he's the second fastest and a veryu high level magic user, Selma because she has powerful fire magic and kekowa likes her and she already said yes, and kekowa because out of all of us he has the best combonation of Strength, speed, and fighting ability He's also the third fastest if im not mistaken. So Kold, Froggy, Up to the task?

Well im already a cross between Aoshi, Kenshin, and Rock Lee, between my focus on strength speed and fighting ability, my vow not to kill, and my dual kodachi, so im good.

Using his great speed he simaltainously Grabbed Xellos by the throat while holding one of his Kodachi to his stomach.

"What the F-!" Kekowa shouted "I told you! I told you 5, 6 mouths ago when we first had a chance to talk in the forest. If you ever harm one of our comrades I would kill you!" Kekowa squeezed a little more while ever so gently nudging his blade at Xellos gut

"I found myself daring to belive you where a man of honor. Now I see that I was right about you. You spoiled, rich, pompass, arrogant, backstabbing, son of a whore!" Kekowa squeezed a little more.

"What I said was back then and this is now. I cannot kill you now because we need all our fighters to face Norn. So relish this miracle, cherish this moment of mercy. For it is the last you will EVER recive."

Kekowa spoke slow and emphasized every word squeezing a little more with each word.

"If... you... ever... so... much... as... touch... her... again... or... any... other... girl... or... teammate... of... mine... I... Will... KILL... YOU!"

A young girl, wearing odd armor (think Valkrie Profile mixed with Kos-Mos or Telos from Xenosaga), with long blue hair, stepped foward. Her deep blue eyes showed nothing as she came to a stop. At each side of her waist was strapped a short sword.




Hunter suddenly appeared in a puff of brimstone, twirling a gun. He'd been goen since his fight against Wolf, staying away from everyone. Now he stood, his tail swishing back and forth, a grin on his face.


He'd been training.

Once the veil had been thinned between the Physical and the Astral, the great spectral beast, the dead god who had gripped the boy in his reigns was finally revealed. A rather odd abomination, composed simultaneously of parts man, and parts condor and jaguar.

"They will cow to me once more," said the voice that shook the very earth when it was raised.

The Stranger simply raised her hands, clasped them together gently and pulled them apart. With a thunderclap and a terrible cry, the being of the boy and the beast were separated. The fortunate part was that the boy, though severely rattled, would live to see another day.

However, the Mayan god of Rain and Storms gathered into corporeal form, and his power resounded. An unearthly shriek cut through the storm, and the shacks of the villagers were razed asunder. The Stranger, however, was unaffected. Rather, she seemed to be riding the very air that threatened to smother her.

"How can this be? To I who am Lightning, Rain, and the very Air? I who have feasted on the blood of the impure spawn of the earth? I am Chaac!"

"And I am Ilsa Schroeder...of the Zeitgeist Sisterhood! "

Spinning the cord in front of her, she called out an incantation.

"By the tool of the sky-mother of creation...Rope of Nu Kua, bestow a prison to chain the livid beast!"

Whipping it forward, streams of energy cast out from the end of it and grasped the Rain god's four limbs. The sky darkened about him in a uniform circle, and behind him spun a rune circle composed of mystical energy.

"Your time is over, though you hunger. Begone!"

And before screams or retaliation, the bound beast was shunted out into the void. Unfortunately this left her without a means of flight, so Ilsa went smashing into a house below.

"Oof...hah...," she groaned as she dusted herself off, the, casually called into the air,"Krystall orben."

The crystal sphere sped past the heads of startled observers, murmuring and unsure what to make of the spectacle. Ilsa mere looked into the globe.

"...she's up now?"

She sat and peered into the scrying vessel, intend on seeing her sister in action

Looking to their opponent and back to him again, she asked quickly,"Listen, do you still have that Mysterious Eye we found on the peak? I believe its energy consumption properties could come in our favor."

With that remark, she readied mental defenses and kept her eyes on the very life energies of her opponent.

"Just a thought."

Natalie stood in disbelief. That was the strongest technique she had in her arsenal, and it availed to nothing. As usual, this would require outside assistance.

Seeing Hunter, and the violent energies cascading about him, Natalie noticed that Mia's attention was on him. It was a valuable scant moments to prepare.

Backing up, she removed another napkin from her blouse, the impromptu channeling seal still in effect. She cast it to the ground and flowed energy into it.

With a great roar that resounded through the stadium, the butterfly so twisted in appearance but for his noble heart overshadowed and dwarfed its summoner. Suddenly, its form began to scatter.

Now I will make my leave, a girl I admire is fighting for our Dorm." Kekowa slightly bowed his head and turned walking away. When he got a little ways off he called back "Remember what we talked about." He continued to walk untill he got a seat close to the action so he could see Natalie "Yeah Go Natalie!"

Actually she's a hair faster than base Sirus. But he has magic that boosts his speed sorta like Rhia.
