Dean blinked in surprise. He would have greated Ramus, or welcomed his Mother, but her statment took him completely off guard. That, and she was suprisingly hot. Dean, being a good friend, realized it was inappropriate to drool at Ramus' mother, and summoned his manners and self control.

"Umm.." Dean started, still not completely recovered for the unexpected outburst. "Hi?"

Ramus mother waves at Dean with a large smile. "hellooooooo Dean! RAmus ahs told me alla bout you! From America you say? where from? California? I've always wante dto see the united states!"

Selma is....crying? I dont know. Maybe a teacher or something.

Not true. Selma would have had her tearducts surgically removed before she went homicidally insane. They tried to execute her, but she kept burning the hanging rope, the bullets bounced off of her, she ignored the electrocution, the gas chamber just gave her a buzz, she barely got a headache from cyanide pills, and the needles couldn't pierce her shin.

When they tried to burn her at the stake, she just laughed her ass off.

So now she lives alone in a 10x10 room with 2ft thick walls, wearing a Hannibal Lecter mask, a straight jacket, leg shackles, log chains wrapped around her and held in place by thick padlocks.

And all she does is mumble about some "Natalie" person inbetween rantings about the "pills that are taking over her mind" and how "that guy from CSI is trying to kill me".

Or she's living in Inceno, California, with a husband and two sons, making a living as a bouncer for a strip club.:D

"Nat, you do know he was asking you on a date right?"

Natalie sat and ran her hair through her fingers, nervously and unsure. She opened her mouth to say something, then shook her head, and stood up.

Sirus then realised that she was completely oblivious to his feelings. 'The only reason I got this far was because she thought I was just being friendly?Shit...' Sirus thought as his heart sunk.

"No, I... I can't. You don't deserve the stress Nat. You're too good a person." Sirus said, getting up and turning away should he give away his feelings via facial expression.

"I'll leave you three to talk without me. I... gotta go." Sirus said as he walked outside and looked to the sky.

"I shoulda listened lil bro, I don't think I can handle it." he said to no one in particular.

"Sirius, wait!" she called out as she head out the door to follow him.

"Well, me and Xing are not really related by blood. I found him travelling alone six years ago and took him as my own. His stature was one he built himself, but what I did for him was give him form to that structure. And yes, I am a practitioner of the Beast Fist Tiger-Style."

Biting her bottom lip, Selma glared at Xellos as she thought 'Goddamn you Xellos.'

She knew it wasn't his fault, that he was doing the right thing, but it still made her feel slightly better to blame him. She didn't know why, but it did.

Why weren't the words coming out? Was there some sort of grievous guilt welled up inside her? Either way her tongue gummed up and she lost herself. Tamiko's mindscape, Bloodmoon's power, and the realization that almost everybody was out to seek her hand for reasons she could barely comprehend. And now she was about to lose another friend to this mad tirade. She couldn't stand being so helpless in these situations.

With a tired sigh, she grabbed onto his hand. Residual electricity buzzed about her right index finger.

Slowly, Dean comprehended the question, as well as his response, in the back of his mind. His eyes widened in shock, as he realized what had just transpired.

He looked up from Ramus' mothers legs, and towards Xing. He then looked towards Levi, and Yong, before looking back to Xing.

Oh god damnit. Oh no, no, no, no, no.

Dean screwed up. He had screwed up badly.
He decided to recitfy his error in the only way he knew how.

"Wait, no!" Dean shouted, hoping that the volume of his voice would cancel out his previous statement. "I mean, no! No! Nuh-uh!"

Dean shook his hands vigoriously infront of himself. "I mean, Dont get me wrong, you're a great friend and all, and you're not a bad looking guy I'm flattered, and dont blame you for wanting to marry me, but...."

Dean paused for a moment to consider how to explain himself. "I'm not exactly into that kinda thing, you know?"

Dean took a deep breath, attempting to regain his composure. He made a vow to stop looking at womens legs, for they were nothing but trouble.

Tomoe blinked for a long time. She wasn't sure what was weirder, Dean's answer and reaction to said answer of Xing's proposal, or Ramus' mother. With a mental shrug, she kept her position, arms draped around Levi's neck.

Laughing a little nervously, Yong wasn't ignorant enough to not be sure about Maria's intent. Of course, almost literally being a 40-year old virgin, Yong was quite amiss as to a response. Luckily, he would be spared thanks to a very familiar voice.

Natalie stood on the isolated peak in Tamiko's mindscape, idly drawing a summoning circle to try and find her lost friend's essence within her.

She thrust her magical energies into it as she sat in the middle, illuminating the circle, but yielding hardly any tangible result.

"I'm sorry," she quickly answered, remembering that Xellos too had feelings for her. Bounding past Selma, exchanging looks with her briefly, she made her way to the elevator and head to the 21st floor.

It would be a terribly lonesome time in a room far too big for her.

Selma raised her eyebrows in surprise as she saw Natalie flash past her, confused by the look. After a few moments, she sighed and walked over to an elevator, intent on going to bed. But in her state, she ended up pushing a button that seemed to be hers.

However, it turned out to be the button for the 21st floor.

Looking to the door, she didn't watch the various floors flash upon the screen above her, and didn't see as she passed her floor and kept going. All that happened was she sensed that the elevator ride was taking longer than normal.

When the doors finally opened, she stepped out, scratching her head as she looked around the floor in confusion.

'This most definitely isn't my floor... Where the Hell am I?' Selma thought, turning around to go to her floor. But she stopped, curiousity hitting her. She began walking around, studying her new surroundings, and looking at the only door the floor held.

Finally leaning against the door, she sighed and said "I guess I should just go back to my room..."

Dean's agreement certainly did effect Xing in some way as he felt his body almost enter into a state that transcended the physical realm. Deciding to first discard his weapon, Xing removed his Dao and held it out.

"Either way." Dean bent his rear leg slightly, and clenched both his fists. "I'll cross that bridge when I get to it."

Dean laughed before signaling Xing to begin. "Come to Dean, Youngling!"

As they walked back, Xellos test burnt a small patch on Sirus's shirt, the rain extinguishing the weak flame quickly. The burn marks were quite different.

"Lightning I think. Dunno if its from you or the cloud. If you had Dean's build, you could rip that apart next time you see her and start flexing."

At the hotel entrance, he let Sirus carry on inside.

Dean slightly raised his right foot an inch above the ground. "Dont tell me you've lost your resolve to fight me now."

Dean kicked his leg towards Xing with such force, a wave of pressurized air, about the size of Deans leg was created, heading towards Xing.

"After all, there's no point in all this, if you're not even trying."

"But, Since you've made it clear that isnt the case...." he crushed the rock in his palm to dust.

"I can take this seriously!" he shouted as he tossed the rock dust towards Xing, intent on obscuring his vision.

The first hit was bad enough consdering Dean's strength, even if he did hold back on it. The second and third hit was pure murder however, as Xing felt his body being launched back, crashing right into a boulder, leaving a small imprint on the mass of rock. At least one good thing came out of it. Xing wasn't worried about his eyes anymore.

Groaning in pain, Xing sat himself up, crawling back onto his feet. Sure his body hurt like hell from the beating he just received, but he didn't see himself as quite out of it yet. However after one step, Xing realized that doing anymore would probably cause him to collapse.

"Well, from the looks of thing, I would say that you are the victory of this spar. Come to think of it though, I have been feeling quite exhausted even before... before----" The world suddenly became a little more dull in Xing's eyes as he felt himself stumble a little.

My head... What's.... This isn't Dean's doing, I'm sure of it.... It's like something inside is... Oh no....

Pain shot through Xing's entire body again as he collapsed to the ground, struggling to breathe. His convulsions seemed to see no end before his body lay completely still.

Natalie stood on the isolated peak in Tamiko's mindscape, idly drawing a summoning circle to try and find her lost friend's essence within her.

"You will hear me..." she muttered as she drew runes,"...possession...or no possession!"

She thrust her magical energies into it as she sat in the middle, illuminating the circle, but yielding hardly any tangible result.

But for a faint whisper.

As the wind kicks up again, she hears a soft, faint yet familiar voice call out, "Cold...I'm so cold...."

The first hit was bad enough consdering Dean's strength, even if he did hold back on it. The second and third hit was pure murder however, as Xing felt his body being launched back, crashing right into a boulder, leaving a small imprint on the mass of rock. At least one good thing came out of it. Xing wasn't worried about his eyes anymore.

Groaning in pain, Xing sat himself up, crawling back onto his feet. Sure his body hurt like hell from the beating he just received, but he didn't see himself as quite out of it yet. However after one step, Xing realized that doing anymore would probably cause him to collapse.

"Well, from the looks of thing, I would say that you are the victor of this spar. Come to think of it though, I have been feeling quite exhausted even before... before----" The world suddenly became a little more dull in Xing's eyes as he felt himself stumble a little.

OOC: This is a great RP reason for getting a seal placed on Dean :P

Although Dean was weary from the match, you wouldnt be able to tell from the way he was acting. He seemed to be his usual eccentric self, despite his body being covered in burns and blood.

"Haha!" Dean said with a smile. "Victory is--" Dean coughed up a bit of blood. Wiping his mouth, he continued. "Victory is mine! Although it was kinda close." Dean flexed one of his bieceps with a smile.

"It was certainly fun, no?" Dean inquired.

My head... What's.... This isn't Dean's doing, I'm sure of it.... It's like something inside is... Oh no....

Pain shot through Xing's entire body again as he collapsed to the ground, struggling to breathe. His convulsions seemed to see no end before his body lay completely still.

Fuck! Dont tell me I screwed up the adjustments! I could have sworn I was careful!

Dean froze in mid-pose, surprised by Xings sudden collapse. His shock turned into concern when Xing began convulsing uncontrollably. Dean quickly ran over to Xing, unable to believe what was transpiring.

"Xing?!" Dean shouted frantically, concerned for his friends well-being. "God Damnit! Xing!"

Xings only response was to cease convulsing, and to lay deathly still.

IC: Kekowa laid on his bead hands behind his head. Visions of battle swirled in his mind. As he closed his eyes he could feel as if he was back home...

*First of many flashbacks*

A young boy of 13 looked over his High school, "It will be only a few months before Vacation is over and these halls are full, and soon I will be 14, spending 3 and ahalf years over seas has done me well." He thought to himself. "I must prepare. I have studied under the Hardest masters in Asia to be as strong and powerful as I could in a short time. I will use this strength to stop the fighting between the schools of Kanto and usher in a new era of peace."

He walked the streets, Tokyo could be a mean city after dark, muggings, death, corruption, all abound. He noticed a dude with slicked back hair and a cheesy suit hassling a shop keeper "Comon old man, if ya dont pay up who knows what could happen, someone could waltz right in and smash the place up good." The elderly shop keep whimpered "Oh please times are tough what with the recession, please let me go." The other man laughed "Let you go? all's im asking for is a little donation to us needy..." Kekowa had heard enough as he passed the man he quickly chopped his back in two places. THe Suit fell like a stone. The shop keep grew scared. "Do you know who that was?" Kekowa looked down and saw the tat. The Yakuza symbol on the back of his neck stood out like a cattle brand "Yeah I do," Kekowa said still walking "but Ive broken his spie in two places I doubt he'll be walking and talking much less harrassing you anymore, besides if you dont tell I wont." Kekowa kept on walking into the dark corners of the city as he thought "Thats what Im here to do, use my strength to help those that cant help themselfs."

HE wandered into a unfamiluar land, a place so dark and dreary not even the police dare to tred. He heard whispers all around him, but he stood still as the wind. a fist came out of the darkness, but it was far too slow. Kekowa caught it and threw the body to the ground. Suddenly a large group of shadows formed around him. "Who are you?!" Kekowa cried out. The Mob did not respond. Kekowa turned his attention to the preteen before him tears welling up in his eyes. "Who are you?" He did not answer, so Kekowa sqeezed his fist cracking fingers and putting extreme pressure on the hand. "AHHH ok please stop." Kekowa backed the tension slightly "Who are you you are you here?" The boy looked up at Kekowa "I am.. uh.. Usei Shinimei and these are the .. oh..the shadow boys." Kekowa backed the tension up a little bit more "Why are you here?" Usei started to sniffle "We are the refuse, the unwanted, we exist because we scrounge and steal, we protect our land from those who want to hurt us." Kekowa released his grip, but Usei clutched it "Here me know, I am Kekowa Hasegawa, I have studied for years to be the worlds greatest fighter and use that strength to help those that cannot help themselfs. I see you are in most need of me. I promis you if you let me guide you, I will make you strong, I will make you warrior hero's, your renowned will be know all over Japan, you will not want of food or clothing or shelter. Let your shadows come to me and I will make them reborn into the light!" Usei got up and walked over to Kekowa "What kind of promise do we have that you'll help us?" Kekowa took his uninjured hand and grasped it by the wrist in a handshake bound "I swear by god in buddha, by everything that I hold dear, by the warriors code and the code of the samurai, I will make you great. Or may my sould burn in Hades for all time." Kekowa beemed with pride inside and thought

Just making sure everyone got a chance to read this. At first I wasnt going to write so much but teh as I kept on I decided to gove more detail and drop more hints

OOC; dude, kekowa shoudl be a shounen character. like foreal, he'as aweosome Why thank you, you should see the charecter he's absed on. I plucked his name from and Anime that ive had in my head for a couple years, but never completly put to paper, because I dont have an artist and theres no f-ing way I'd get it into publication so its just been sitting. Of course I toned him down. Here he's helping street kids and beating up Yakuza, but the original charecter was from a dystopic future leading a rebellion againbst the regiem with his awsome martial arts and crazy strength, seriously fully powered and enraged he makes Alexia's dad look like a joke and could probuly give SSL3 Goku a run for his money. Personality wise their basically the same, just a few minor tweeks to better fit this story.

But anyway you may be "One" of the better warriors in the Dorm but you haven't poven it as of late, since we havent seen you fight for awhile your appoinment to captain maybe a bit premature, to say the least. However I would like to throw my hat into the ring. Seriously, you can see from my flashbacks im already a leader, and my future ones will show me mutureing these kids from random street urchins to hero's who protect the weak and down trodden. And if elected captain I would grant Wei Levi Vice chair, after his stunning preformance he deserves. I Put up a hell of a battle and won against a foe who by all rights should have roasted me, but that is not the sole reason I wish to be captain. If elected Kekowa would show a gentler, kinder side and would mature more as a charecter. Anyway how ever its decided I just hope its best for the Team. And even If I dont get captain, I would like Levi to be Vice, even if it costs me, because he deserves that much at least.

Kekowa awoke from his dream. It all seems so hazy now. Its only been 6 months but it seems like an eternity. Now those memories threaten to choke me like so much smoke. He reached into his napsack and got one of his Decent school jackets. He also decided to put on a sleavless white T-shirt which he rarely did he buttoned his jacket and fiked his spikey hair in the mirror. Before he left he saw something on his dresser a Butterfly Knife. A bright green metal and peal out line it was truly a thing of beuty. He thought he got rid of it long ago but he must have accendintally packed it. He hated the thing it gave him nightmares. Nonetheless he tucked it into his boot and exited his room.I'll get down to the arena the Fight with Norn will probuly be short but at least I will see them in action. As Kekowa headed down he saw Dean, Xing, and some family members Sigh, Family. Mine is buddha knows how far away, its not like I can tell Koko to drop everything and come see me. To be fair, he knew something bad was coming as soon as Bell began speaking. He didn't hear jack, but nothing following her opening her mouth had been good so far, so there was no point in assuming this time would be any better than the last.

Focusing on her lips as she spoke, he could pick out a couple words, here and there, but he had never exactly focused on practicing lip reading in the past: ".. twilight... To say that he found this a little unfair would be an understatement. Ilias wasn't sure how exactly he was supposed to handle this little situation, and his current condition wasn't exactly optimal.

As he took a step to the side, in hopes of at the very least moving out of the way of the initial charge, Ilias stumbled slightly, and fell. Looking up at monster, this Phantasm, he got on one knee, set himself, and, stabbing his nodachi once more into the ground to hold himself in place, he went about making the smallest target of himself as possible.

Concentrating as much as he possibly could, Ilias errected a ki barrier in front himself, using his sword's beacon as its focus point, and it spread out to cover in him in a half dome of sparkling, iridescent energy.

As they walked back, Xellos test burnt a small patch on Sirus's shirt, the rain extinguishing the weak flame quickly. The burn marks were quite different.

"Lightning I think. Dunno if its from you or the cloud. If you had Dean's build, you could rip that apart next time you see her and start flexing."

At the hotel entrance, he let Sirus carry on inside.

Focusing his magic once more, organic ice wings materialised on his back, each nearly 3 metres across.

Flexing them once, he disappeared into the night sky, the ground he stood on moments before already frosted. As he reached the top of the hotel, he slowed his ascent, perching himself on the highest balcony as he allowed the wings to dissipate.

Anything from Natalie? What's she doing in the room? Or I'll continue on.

Kekowa was shocked A bit cowardly but nonetheless a brilliant strategy , while he was focused on the giant monster she moved behind him ready to finsih it. Her stratgey revels much. I suppose I will have to be craftier

Almost instantly, as should as he felt the glaive, but physically and through feeling the blade itself via his inate ability of Blade Communion, his whole body stiffened, then relaxed, and allowed the ki shield to dissipate. If it was already pierced, there was no point in keeping the drain of holding it up now.

Barely moving at all, Ilias turned his head slightly so that he could see Bell out of his peripheral vision; at the same time, in Ilias' opposing hand that was not currently gripping the nodachi, the hilt of another sword began to form, hidden by his own torso and out of Bell's sight.

"That was. . . incredible. I've never seen anything like it, and even if it was only an illusion, it was quite magnificient. I have never seen such a thing before in my entire life. Is it a real technique you have, or did you create it on the spot?"

As their eyes adjusted to the darkness, they saw an ice coffin engraved with an ancient rune of the blackest of black magic. The darkness surrounded the coffin like a snake, ready to attack any that approached.

Nono, that IS impressive as a feat.

Problem is, Kekowa is arrogant, uses thug intimidation tactics, is overly aggresive, not all that smart and, as far as his time in the dorm goes, uninspiring. And these are established things about the character, its not like he can get rid of the traits so easily.

He's got his good points as a character, but aside from honesty they're largely irrelevant to leadership. His never say die attitude is irrelevant to those who don't like him, his bravado comes across as self promotional, and unlike Dean's unjustified levels of ego its not funny.

I don't hate Kekowa, but I pity the fool.

Nah, just messing with ya on that last one.

Xellos, Henry, Sirus and Selma interacting with Natalie is happening in the future, after this round. Everything else is happening in present time. Including this. Therefore, the convo Sirus and Xellos were having when Natalie walked into the hotel is a different convo from the one in which Xellos had with him after Kekowa tried to intimidate Sirus.

Keying in some instructions, he slipped away from the arena crowd, heading to the meeting point.

Clone Alex was lurking in the shadows, waiting for Xellos to come to the meeting spot. It wasn't long before his target had arrived.

You'll have to come up with some believable circumstances for doing so. Not just because the author wants to get rid of the character hate that's built up all over him, so he pulls a past out of his ass so he's suddenly inspiring.

I was under the impression that his change would be gradual, and he seemed to be on track so far. He's still got his character in there, but he's trying to feel his way through the more delicate aspects of social life. The Sirus intimidation was good, showed his roots and that those tendencies are part and parcel of him, even as he's evolving.
