Selma looked to Natalie, seeing the hurt in her eyes at the loss of Daichi and Ramon. Sighing, she held the witch close, still rubbing a series of small circles into her back in an attempt to comfort her.

Xing watched the scene upside down. The shattered cliff face followed the monster to the abyss. With the blood rushing to his head and his injuries spiking up, he nonetheless smiled and grabbed onto Dean's hand.

"...I see now...the bones, the blindness...Dean! You have defeated the dead legend and become one anew!"

And he would have kept smiling, had he not noticed Dean's eyes having become a blood red hue.

"Ah! Have you been wounded?! You sacrificed your eyes to slay the beast!"

Dean looked at Xing, Obviously confused.

"What? Blind? I can see just fin-" Dean trailed off, as he realized that he infact could not see. Alteast not as he did before.

He no longer could see Xing with his eyes. But he could hear Xing with uncanny clarity. He could hear the beating of Xings heart, the flow of his blood. He could hear the contraction of Xing's muscles, the abrasion of his bones, and the air around him.

All of these elements came together and painted a picture of Xing, with startiling clarity.

"I think...I'm okay." Dean said finally. "It's hard to explain, but I can see just as clearly as I ever have."

As Dean spoke, he could hear a voice, laughing maniacally at what had just transpired.

Sabin. That asshole had somehow seen the whole thing.

"Ugh. Lets get the hell out of here. That Old Bastard is waiting for us." Dean said obviously annoyed.

Shakra smirked again.

She stamped her foot, and a bolt of lightning erupted underneathe Kekowa, badly burning his leg.

Frowning, Shakra leaped back a bt, keeping the distance between them. She wipe the sweat off her brow.

"Damn, I'm low on mana now. Stay down, damnit!"

Kekowa knelt down, his pain was searing . His right leg, his left foot, his back his chest, all badly burned awith the scars to prove it. Man Im going to be on spotty looking nut when this is over. He Got up, although it was slow and Painful "YEAAAAAAAAAAHHH. You'd like that wouldnt you well too bad." He checked his leg [I]Painful but mobile the burn sprils around the fron and ends at the back of the knee so to move it is pain/I] "Ok girl, time to teach you some respect. I have no mana, the only way to stop me is to Kill me!" Kekowa planted the tip of his left leg in the ground. He started roatating 360 degress fatsre and faster using his right leg to sweep the ground and kick up a swirl of dirt, sand, and debris. Bigger and bigger it got consuming a quarter of the arena. "Earth Style, spinning tornado!" The cloud is thrown at her engulfing her in a thinck cloud with her unable to see and occonsaially getting pelted with debris. She was unable to see Kekowa coming as he came through, fist way back and he let it go right in front of her face.

OOC: Ill be off on and on for a few minutes because of "Death Note" hope u understand.

The T Rex raged through the horde of monsters. Killing many as it stomped and swung its tail, but not enough. The Gremlins swarmed the Rex, slowing it down so it couldnt keep up with them to the point the rex toppled over and the gremlins began clawing into it. "Dammit!' Justin growled as he noticed the monsters claws through closer and closer. Thinking quickly, he ejected from the Rex and hgh into the air. He then powered his Ki Tornado to the max and aimed towards the center of the monster horde.

He fired off the Tornado and caused a large explosion. Shattering the surronding ground and obliterating the monsters hit directly and tossing the near by ones around violently. To help finish off the monster horde. Justin threw several fire bombs on his decent to the ground. Landing in the middle of the burning rubble. Chiaki using water to get rid of the flames. "Well done I suppose.." she said not incredibly impressed.

"I win, tell me what I want to know!" Justin demanded.

Chiaki looked at him. "Fine, I will" she then gave a cruel smile. "When I feel the time is right" before he could react. Chiaki rushed Justin and slammed her fist into his stomach. Causing him to double over. "But I will tell you this. I did it for your own good" she said then began dragging him back.

Once Kekowa stepped down from the ring, Levi was there to congratulate him, "Most impressive, my friend." Quickly approached by Tomoe, she added her own two bits, "That was pretty awesome. At first I didn't think you could do it, but apparently Levi-sama's teammates are all pretty hardcore."

'I-I'm sorry for being as pathetic as I am Natalie. I truly am sorry that I'm so useless that I don't have any way to help you or even provide you a small amount of comfort in your time of need.' Selma thought bitterly, her own heart aching for Natalie's loss and sorrow.

Selma looked at Natalie silently for a few moments before closing her eyes and saying "I... I see. And I really am sorry that I can't help you when you need it most, like you've always been there to help me."

Natalie held her tongue. Those she was also a mage, Selma had only a minor understanding of the planes and magical dimensions, and bitterly she had to admit her self analysis was correct.

Even so, her tears dried, she turned around and lifted Selma's chin up.

"Believe me, you have done more than you know," she smiled somberly

A chill ran through her, like her soul was turning to ice. She could sense the other's emotions, barely, and she desired to be there with them, sharing these emotions with them. But she could not bring herself to do so. Her visions still haunting her thoughts. Fear and anger were the only emotions she could be sure of, and she struggled to keep those emotions supressed.

A chill ran through her, like her soul was turning to ice. She could sense the other's emotions, barely, and she desired to be there with them, sharing these emotions with them. But she could not bring herself to do so. Her visions still haunting her thoughts. Fear and anger were the only emotions she could be sure of, and she struggled to keep those emotions supressed.

"I know you told Rhia to mind her own business," Django said softly, having approached her, "And you probably don't want to talk to me either, but I still need to ask you what's wrong. And don't try to tell me it's nothing; it's practically coming off you in waves. You seemed happy not too long ago, Tamiko. What happened?"

Xing pondered this question between the pain of his smashed ribs.

Glancing back at the bleacher area, she saw something.

Chiaki dragging Justin's now beaten a bloodly body to the stands. She tossed him up making a loud clank. "Still, Im impressed you beat the weakest of my monsters" she smiled.

Seeing Chiaki carrying Justin, Tamiko moved in closer. As she got a better view, as she saw Justin's blood, she could feel the anger, the bloodlust welling up inside her.

Standing there, transfixed by the sight, Tamiko was torn by the urge to run over and heal Justin -- and the urge to sever Chiaki's head from her body. This feeling terrified her, and paralized her. The emotional paralysis soon affected her body. As Tamiko took a single step forward, she found herself getting light headed, then collapsing onto the ground in a faint.

Selma sat next to Natalie's wheelchair and gently took the witch's hand in her's. Holding the soft hand in her own rough one, Selma gave her a small, genuine smile as she said "Thank you Natalie."

Giving the hand a gentle squeeze, Selma continued "I just wish there was more I could do to help you Natalie, really I do."

"But all I can do right now is stay by your side, giving you my shoulder to cry on when needed and my ears to listen to your troubles, hopes, and fears without judgement."

"Yes, but they were merely opening portals between the planes, not threatening to rip them apart." Selma said. She held Natalie so the witch's back pressed against her chest, and allowed her head to rest on Natalie's shoulder.

Breathing slowly, Selma murmured "I just worry about you when you talk about ripping apart the planes. You don't sound like you at all, you sound like someone who doesn't have the knowledge and logical reasoning you do."

"So please don't talk like that again, OK?" Selma asked, giving into temptation somewhat and kissing Natalie on the side of her neck before allowing her head to rest on the witch's shoulder again.

"Well....You see, it's like this....." Sabin began. "In order for you to harness the virtues necessary to-Stealth Bullet!"

Sabin moved with such speed that multiple after-images appeared behind him. Before Dean could react, Sabin uppercutted him with such force, his spiritual form was lauched into the sky, before being sent back to his body, in Arcadia.

Sabin then looked back at the unconcious body of Xing.

"Between me and you, the other trials were unnecessary. I unlocked his potential to gain the Shingan the first time we met. I just wanted to see what he was made of. I wont waste my time on the unworthy."

Without another word, Sabin booted Xing in the ribs, reuniting his soul with his body.

"Farewell."

Sabin turned around, and walked towards his tower, feeling extremely good about the events of the week.

Well, Daichi are Ramon got sucked into a space/time rift and vanished. Mourn went to look for them and left Kelly in charge.

This all left Natalie very upset, and Selma and Rhia have been trying to comfort her.

Dean and Xing have been fighting a monster or something. Not sure, I didn't pay much attention.

And finally something is wrong with Tamiko, but she won't say what. Also Justin's teacher had him fight gremlings for some reason. Anyway, both are now passed out and being carried by Django.

Xellos stayed silent through Selma's reassurances. He rocked back on his heels, thumb and index finger clasping his chin. Finally gathering his thoughts, he voiced them out.

" Selma has her own thoughts on this, but I prefer when you voice out your feelings among friends. Then we know what is going on, how you tend to think, and perhaps advise you accordingly. in this case, I'll just ask you to remember that the seeds of conviction and obsession fall from the same tree. Take care to pick the right ones"

He looked her in the eye, steadfast in is demeanour.

Ruman gestured for Django to bring them both over to her, where she was busy with Kekowa. She then began healing them.

"Hmm, Justin's cut up pretty badly, but it's not life threatening. Tamiko, however, seems to have a ripple in her aura. Almost like something is weighing, or pushing, her down."



She tapped a blue stone on her wrist.

"Lucia, I need you over here when you bring Kelly your report. Something's rippling Tamiko's aura, and I need you to Delve into her."


A momenetary silence, then Bloodmoon came on.

"Very well. I'll be there shortly."

"To me, mein staff!", she called out, raising her hand as she reached out for her conjuring tool. Eye on the top floor of the hotel, she expected it to come smashing through walls out of the building or something like that.

Instead it apparated in front of her, stuck in the road.

Casting a small alchemy spell, she dissolved the hold the ground had in it, and from her chair weilded it awkwardly with two hands.

"I'll put the pieces together, and solve the puzzle of spacial magic!"

Sitting with her eyes closed, hands clutching the staff, Natalie sat and meditated on what she knew; the old teachings of the Sisterhood, the new methods of her peers, the chi-cultivation from Wei and Daichi, and the essences drawn from channeling intersecting planes. What then, could cause distortions and spacial holes?

Essence...magic is drawn from essence...the world held together by chaotic balancing forces, always flowing and moving...

She broke her trance, and magically drew some water from the air and float it in her hand. Concentrating her will into it, she thinned it into a disklike shape and manipulated it to flow.

Serenity and flow, hardness and softness. In everything there exists a state of balance, for what it is.

Focusing further on the spiral of water, Natalie clenched her fingers to further the energy put into it. Suddenly, the water somehow burst into flame, and broke the flow. The polarize elements spun together in a slow, curious balance.

And in nature all essence, force, and existence itself is built upon chaotic flow.

Clenching her fist, she disassociated the water into gas and teh flame expunged itself in a loud *pop*

"I already know this! What does it mean! Why does it even work that way?!"

Natalie threw down her hat in frustration, buried her face in her hands and grumbled. Then, she lit up.

Rhia bit her lip and moved her arm to Selma's other shoulder, hugging them. "Look... I may not love Natalie but she is my friend and, well, I think I know how you feel." She sighed. "First Henry and Sirus got hurt, then Daichi and Ramon, and now Nat is suffering..." She shook her head. "All I can do is fight. Defeating opponents, breaking stuff..." another sigh. "...It makes you feel so weak, doesn't it? So helpless..."

Natalie repeated the experiment of water and fire watching the elements counter and chase after one another. Water extinguished fire, fire boiled water and consumed its makeup. Hovering above her hand it would appear that they were linked to each other, nothing more than a perpetual counterweight of one another. But for what reason did it exist like this, what was the force that both linked and divided them?

Recalling Wei's earlier teachings about Yin and Yang, and how the power of chi was subject to cultivation and state of mind, She couldn't help but wonder.

Perhaps that works in a similar fashion, she thought, The existence of the soul, the strength of it, comes from understanding and accentuating one's place in the cosmos, perhaps.

She then remembered how Jericho merely lifted his hand and a void was opened. Then she recalled how Dorn, the brother of the Grandmaster himself, remarked on how he had been experienced with such matters before.

"Lerher Mourn makes it seem all too easy," she moaned to herself,"the magic drew neither from the self nor the astral plane, or any source I could discern from or have ever seen before. Whatever he drew from, it couldn't have been of this..."

Natalie looked around her. Not at the sights or acoustics of the empty roadside, but rather the realm. The intersection of Physical and Astral in itself was a balance, one that held the world together; any magician worth their salt would be familiar with that concept. To transcend and link planes would require the manipulation of the factor that verily balanced existence itself.

The nonexistent force...such a paradox!

Selma sighed, returning her eyes to her hands as she said "All I can do is sit by helplessly, offering them nothing but meaningless words and useless gestures of kindness while they're forced to suffer. If only I were smarter, able to do more magic than throw around fire like a human flamethrower, then I could help Natalie in bringing back Daichi and Ramon. I could stop their suffering and hers as well."

"...ja, that is my hypothesis anyways. All physical properties are governed by natural law, all magical properties are governed by spirits of essence, and as far as I know, chi energies are evidence that existence is born from a convergence of the two."

For effect, she drew her hands together, then rapidly spread them outward, forming a spiraling sphere of her chi spinning in the spiritual wind. It was something Daichi had attempted to teach her.

"But when drawn out, these forces invariably balance one another, ensuring that the other does not burn out wildly. I cannot help but think it is like a homeostatic reaction, ja? Almost like how the body will quietly right itself on the inside to anything."

She shrugged her shoulders and blushed a bit.

"You must think that is rather naive, ja?"

As Dorn nodded to seal the deal, immediately he seemed to just fade away, back into the physical realm. He turned his head and nodded at Natalie, and walked away whistling an idle tune.

With the promise of a new teacher and a target to consider, things started falling into place for her.

However, she made a mental note of Dorn's warning. It would seem that one would have to do the impossible and more or less reach enlightenment to accomplish such a feat. Returning to her body and rapping her hands on her legs that would not move, Natalie sighed. It was impossible to resist the shifting of the planes, much less prime oneself for such a journey, when she couldn't even walk yet, as much as the feeling was returning to her legs.

Thus. Natalie resigned herself to doing the only thing she could. Sit and think. Now that she knew that Space itself may almost be considered something of an element to draw upon, an was in a sense 'alive', she tried to think of a way to go beyond conventional magic and bend it itself. It was something the great masters had learned to do but she had no idea. It was as is she were a fish moving through a stream. Moving through the water itself was easy, manipulating it for breath was done with effort, but the world outside of the water was nigh inconceivable.

This dilemma would have to wait, however, for as Professor Kelly had mentioned, the last members of Sylph Dorm would only be stronger than the last ones faced; Dragon would need every member available, and she was still disabled.

If only that girl hadn't disabled my chi pool! she thought, I don't know the technique of either Orochi nor Herr Daichi's school...

Daichi. What would he have done? She remembered him struggling in various fights, but never yielding. Whenever he failed...

He would force it...

Remembering what he had said about his style, about the spheres, Natalie grit her teeth, then brought the chi flow into her arms. Holding her palms together for a moment, she focussed the loose energy into a sphere, then slid her hands past each other and parted them, creating a globe of spiralling energy hovering in the air. Breathing slowly, not entirely sure of this, but wanting so much to do what she could for everybody else, she gripped it between her hands and plunged it into her abdomen.

A world of fiery pain shot through Natalie who sat in her chair doubled over, the breath choked out of her by the course of energy flooding her spirit. It was a sensational overload: she began to see white flashes, hear a ringing, and taste the air. A brightness suddenly emanated from her eyes as her mind and senses blanked out in a curtain of white.

It was a state of nothingness...yet somehow she knew where she was.

Several white flashes shot through Natalie's eyes. She could barely sense anything, and yet there was something more. It was both an extreme pain and a soothing euphoria. She felt freer than she had, no feet planted on the ground nor brain limited to senses.

And as soon as it had happened, like waking from a dream the white faded to black, and she felt something pressed against her face. Her hat.

Groggily, she lifted the rim of it off her face and peered about. Something was burning, and a small crowd murmured about her.

"OH! MY CAR!"

A man dashed out in front of her and fell to his knees crying. Blinking the fuzz out of her eyes, she looked around and up. Somehow she had gone to the parking lot of the Galaxy Hotel. And she stood in the wreckage of an automobile.

Barely realizing what had occured, she ran back down the road to the arena, finding her wheelchair likewise shattered and on fire. Then she stopped. Of course part of his hesitation was due to the disappointment he felt that Dean was unable to prove his mettle on the field, and of the confusion as to why Dean chose to lie of what they'd been doing. Xing decided to reprimend the latter problem however, more for his sake than for his friend's.
