The other clone dropped in behind Angelique. "You know what to do. Connect all three of us." She nodded. "Alright, father- I mean, father's clone." Using her powers, Angelique linked the two clones and herself.

"Okay! Now can you please hurry? Real father will be angry if you clone fathers don't make it in time."

While one of the clones stayed with Alexia, the other one appeared close to the royals. "Angelique. The student known as Xellos Raveneye is speaking to them. We're going ahead anyways."

The clone Alex approached them.

"Excuse me, your highnesses. And Xellos. My name is Alex Desacosza, the current head of our noble family. I am here to try and negotiate a contract between your country and my syndicate, Clockworks."


OOC: Oooh yeah! Corporate rivalry! And both sides have shades of grey. This will rock so hard. Why does Alex openly call it a syndicate though? That's a word reserved for illegal organisations. Maybe it really is one, but is it wise to declare it?

"Keep up or leave me alone. I will not make consessions for you." Jinmu said, not slowing his pace in the least. Grumbling, Anselm transformed into a human form and started walking alongside him.

"I think you are underestimating the threat Solarius poses to us..." Anselm said, but Jinmu turned and pointed his index finger between Anselm's eyes. Anselm gulped and looked at the digit.

"I could bring about your death with this finger alone. Remember this: I do not underestimate this Solarius, but you have underestimated me. If you value your life, you will not do so again." Jinmu said. Anselm gulped again and nodded.

Smiling, Jinmu turned and kept walking, Anselm following him silently.

Breaking the spell, Tamiko sat back and smiled, "I'm just glad you weren't hurt too badly. The ones you fought, they were incredibly powerful magic users, weren't they?" a touch of worry crossed her face. "If I'm up against someone that strong, I probably won't stand a chance."

The boy turned dark and looked to his feet, twisting his hands together. Charlotte smiled and said "He's a bit shy around new people."

As Tamiko retrieved her spear, it has taken a new appearance. The shaft was longer, more ornate, and it was now double bladed with ribbon-like streamers on each end, wrapped securely around the shaft. She held it defensively, waiting for their attack.

Xellos created an ice dome around himself, till the only thing visible within was a silhouette. His stance within suggested he was standing in place, charging up a spell. However, there was a flaw in the dome design, almost begging to be exploited by his opponent...

Xellos was now in the middle of a large, hollow, spiked ice sphere. He ran, propelling himself forward and smashing into the twin like a wrecking ball.

Unable to get her shield up in time, Tamiko was thrown by one of lighning bolts. Managing to conjour a shield, she was able to deflect the rest of the attacks aimed at her but she was still pinned down.

Barely managing to keep balance through the momentary motor control loss caused by the electricity in his nervous system, he resolved to propel himself with just his shoes, allowing the electricty bolts to course through the ice and into the ground below.

He propelled the ball into the water, but grew organic ice extensions from the sides that raised it above water level. At the same time, large ice paddles formed over the ball. Xellos sprinted as fast as he could. Of course, this didn't actually take him anywhere, but the ball spun around him, sending airborne waves of freezing water to knock him out of the air.

Still fast Kelly though as he moved out of the way of the punch, avoiding it by mere inches. But he could not move out of the way of the oncoming kick, which knocked him back twenty feet as his feet skided on the concret floor.

"Your still good Jinmu" Kelly said as he spit out some blood. "But I have grown as well" Kelly said as he got into a offensive stance.

When I think about it, I really want to keep flaunting Evil Cloned Alex around, because I won't be using him until the next chapter (even then, it's uncertain). So when I get back, the argument between Xellos and Clone #1 will continue. Get in a fight with him, and you can kiss your ass goodbye. Oh, and if I do have a match while I'm still away, please sub in for me. I know I'm being longwinded, grumpy and demanding right now, but it'll go away once I get some decent rest.

The Twin was hit, and, with a nasty pop, reverted back to two people sitting on the ground, each with stunned looks on their faces.


OT: Water reverses the Fusion.

Xellos smiled in satisfaction. However, the maneuver had left him temporarily largely immobile. He worked his way onto land and began dissipating the ice, hoping his team mate could exploit the advantage.

Finish them Tamiko!

Standing up, Tamiko called forth her Whirlwind, then sent it after the two brothers. The wind's speed and strength were enough to lift the two up and out of the ring. Spinning them around so fast that it made them too dizzy to react.

Still fast Kelly though as he moved out of the way of the punch, avoiding it by mere inches. But he could not move out of the way of the oncoming kick, which knocked him back twenty feet as his feet skided on the concret floor.

"Your still good Jinmu" Kelly said as he spit out some blood. "But I have grown as well" Kelly said as he got into a offensive stance.

"Show me this supposed growth in your skill or shut up, for I do not have the time to deal with braggarts." Jinmu said, once more on the move. This time he ducked low as he reached Kelly, wrapped his arms around the swordman's legs, and lifted him up in a flip.

Smirking, Jinmu aimed a fast thrust kick toward Kelly, following it with a spinning backhand should the kick miss.

OOC: It is scary how close the two guys are.

OOC: I know. They're almost evenly matched when it comes to their stats.

When I think about it, I really want to keep flaunting Evil Cloned Alex around, because I won't be using him until the next chapter (even then, it's uncertain). So when I get back, the argument between Xellos and Clone #1 will continue. Get in a fight with him, and you can kiss your ass goodbye. Oh, and if I do have a match while I'm still away, please sub in for me. I know I'm being longwinded, grumpy and demanding right now, but it'll go away once I get some decent rest.

Oh don't worry, there's no need for Xellos and Alex to have it out just yet. Besides, since when do tycoons start off with fisticuffs? Its gonna be a company war, with deals, mechs, high tech equipment, sabotage, ....it will be glorious!:evilsmile

It was almost an unfair advantage Xellos and I had over them." Tamiko, feeling a bit of a let down after having spent so much time worrying about the match.

She stood firm, however, and for the few seconds Mei Ling was there, Natalie didn't buckle. When she moved back to Daichi, Natalie glowered.

After Natalie had her words with Mei Ling, a human corrupted by old demonic energy, to see Etrigan standing before her was odd to say the least.

It may not be accurate to call him a demon, per-say...possibly a mischevious Kami.

That's what she thought to herself at least, able to see his mother in her true kitsune form. She gave a nervous little wave, and with a breath she introduced herself with what little she knew of Japanese.

"Konnichiwa, Chisai-kami-san! Watakushi no namae ga Natari Shuroderu desu. Watakushi wa zaitugaistu no miko desu. Anata wa?"

Both Aisling and Kagura frowned at this, Aisling more so, being more in tune with the surrounding environment so feeling the clones malice, and general 'unnatural' feeling more greatly than Kagura did.
