But seriously, I never use it. It serves no purpose and if you notice, even when Cleric is listing the NPCs you have to fight, he doesn't even list an intelligence stat proving my point that it plays no part in the RP.

So I feel I've wasted 5 points. I'll probably put 3 to durability and another 2 to psychic.

The two on the outside suddenly swept foward, flying over your whip sword while the middle one simply floats over it and contiunes chanting.


The two that went forward use their staves to counter the fields, making them harmless as they charged at Ramon from two different directions. The first suddenly stopped, swung high, and blocked Ramon's vision as the second let lose a green magic beam that struck Ramon and pushed him back.



Oooft!!

:As Ramon was sent forward and rolls wit hthe blow. A se got up and thought.:

Damnit, how am I supposed ot win this! They nullify my gravity magic, and all the while cna pull this stuff out like crazy.


:Then Ramon got a crazy idea as he remembered how easily he dodge dthe last attack.:

Daichi: G- goooo Ramon.

:And Ramon starts by enchanting his sword on the spot, making it emit flames, and then starts by sending a blindly quick fire ball into one of the clones, atleas tthat is wher ehe aiem dfor.:

Xellos took his leave from his conversation with Master Isha.

He deployed his staff, frost emanating from his palm. Appearing a few metres behind Samuel, he wore a smile that was friendly and obviously fake. He asked genially,

"Is there a problem, Nat?"

"No, of course not. There just seems to be a problem between Selma and Natalie, and I'm merely going to help them sort it out." Samuel said, not bothering to even slow down his pace.

"It's best for them to do so now, because the longer the problem is allowed to fester, the harder it'll be for them to work through them."

"But Natalie seems to be afraid of Selma, and runs from her whenever she catches sight of her. This is not a healthy course of action for either of them. So, in the sake of friendship and their continued good health, I'm going to have Natalie confront her fear and let them work through their problems."

Sorry Cleric, just got out of a meeting. Am on half day, so won't be able to RP till probably 10 hours from now, though a battle would be better 20 hours from now. If GrampaGen wants to RP Xellos during the confrontation with Samuel, that's cool.

Unfortunately, Samuel's words fell upon, literally, deaf ears, for Natalie had left her body tranced and float in the astral realm searching for consultation and assistance.

Elemental essences...the movement of natural form...energy from withing and without...where might I be able to find that? Ah, regardless, what I require are entities whom I can summon rapidly.

This went on for several minutes, and soon she had committed their runes of essence to memory. She float back to her body, and discovered that she was in motion, upside down, and draped over someone's shoulder. This was very disorienting and she wiggled about.

"Ah! Where are you taking me?!"

Oman, once the smoke was revealed, was back in oen body behidn a protective barrier, chanting. He opened his eyes, the smirked.

"Nice one. However, they stalled you long enough."

With a bloody hand, Oman shouted the next words.


"Pillager of Time, Bloody Bones, I summon thee. Heed my command and defeat the enemy before me!"


The light in the arena disappeared as a black, inky void opened up. From it's depths, a blood red arm came through, easily 6 feet in length. The body then followed.

Bloody Bones was over 13 feet tall and looked just like a giant, blood red skeleton. Blood contiously dripped from the skeleton as it stared at Ramon. It emitted a horrible shrieking sound, which stunned Ramon vakward, as it lurched toward the magic user.

That means there is a very strong possibility one of you will be killed, if not both. And nothing will tear at your soul like knowing that you had a chance to make amends with a friend before their death and didn't take it." Samuel said, sadness entering his voice towards them end.

However, his smile returned as he said "So, how about you and Selma make amends so neither of you have to worry about that."

True to form, he was an honest man, and with the lingering suggestion, the image of Solarius, and the very real possibility in death highlighted by a brief flash of a slain man surrounded by fond memory, she sighed in defeat.

"Okay...I will see Selma. But ah, could I walk? Please?"

As soon as she had her footing on the ground, she pulled her hat back on and looked Samuel in the eye.

"I promise to work this through with her. But, only if you keep your promise to keep an eye on us, ja?"

As she said this, she silently burrned the Runes of Essence into five more napkins.

The blow took Oman right under the chin and sent him sailing. He quickly righted hismelf in mid-air, however, and floated down to the ground.

Green chains appeared and quickly wrapped Ramon up. Oman then floated the wrapped up Ramon and began making his way to the arena edge.

Suddenly, Natalie shuddered. Whispers across the astral plane ringed in her ears, and her spiritual senses brought her eyes directly to the arena.

Wolf Dorm uses the channeling of Black Magic? Mein Gottin, how reckless! Dark spirits and denizens of the pit, they lend their services in exchange for sacrifice and gluttony, not to aid the balance.

With a pout, she left the indignation leave her openly.

Natalie kept her one vantage point over Samuel, that she could read his mind without him knowing. True to form, he was an honest man, and with the lingering suggestion, the image of Solarius, and the very real possibility in death highlighted by a brief flash of a slain man surrounded by fond memory, she sighed in defeat.

"Okay...I will see Selma. But ah, could I walk? Please?"

As soon as she had her footing on the ground, she pulled her hat back on and looked Samuel in the eye.

"I promise to work this through with her. But, only if you keep your promise to keep an eye on us, ja?"

As she said this, she silently burrned the Runes of Essence into five more napkins.

"I'll keep an eye the two of you, I promise. If it looks like Selma may become violent, then I'll step in and stop her before she can harm you." Samuel said.

The two soon came to the concession stand, where Selma was standing with Shamra. Selma turned to Samuel, caught sight of Natalie, and tears began filling her eyes.

She instantly ran over to the two, wrapped her arms around Natalie, buried her eyes into her shoulder, and began sobbing.

"Pl-please for-forgive me Na-Natalie!" Selma cried, sobbing "Y-you mu-must think I-I'm a mo-mo-monster for the wa-way I-I acted. I-I do-don't bl-blame y-you Nat-Natalie, ju-just don't ba-be ah-afraid oh-of me anymore!"

She didn't move a muscle, just became limp in her arms. It was futile, for one thing, Selma was much stronger than she was. At the same time, being in physical contact with her gave Natalie another great psionic feedback. Silently, Natalie stood prone and held her back.

"Why do you feel guilty, you did nothing wrong, ja?"

As she did this, she floated her astral form into Selma's mindscape, fraught with guilt, anger, and uncertainty. It caused her to quake in her concentration, but there would be no running this time. She followed the negative emotions, a crevice in her psyche, until she found a visage of Selma herself in the core of it. Again, she embraced her.

There is nothing to forgive. You take too much upon yourself. I am the one at fault, I did not listen, but I would never, ever mean to hurt you. To be truthful, after I saw a small part of your insecurity, I was scared. Scared that if one as strong and confident as yourself could break down...that you would stand so tall even though you are so burdened, I could not take away what would make you happy, Selma. I wanted to find out how I could lift that shroud, about the heart you fear to show to the world.

Natalie began to grow misty eyed as well, a face scrunched by pangs of uneasiness.

Peter was wide-eyed after watching that display of speed and power. Exhaling loudly, he set his guitar in his seat and drew his sword, silently activating his gravity shell. Hopefully, it would slow her down enough so he could react to her attacks.

Then he heard his name announced. Immediately, he swallowed his fear, and channeled it into bravado.

"So that's how it is...heh heh heh heh heh....HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

He cast off his jacket, and leapt from his seat into the arena, meeting Peter and Sirius there; his roomate he had grown to respect, and his rival for speed.

"Yosha! We'll take that little bitch down! I don't care HOW strong you are, the will of a demon is unbreakable!"

'Crush', Peter mentally commanded, even more incredible force pushing down on Sasami. Peter put used another smash, this one sending the child slowly floating upward.

Peter was panting from the effort, "...lets see her move so fast... now that she's floating off the ground..."

Then he was nailed by her tiny foot, sending him careening over to near where Ramon had landed. It felt like he had been hit by a wrecking ball.

Kekowa crouched, buckled in pain, hands over his ribs. He coughed up something brownish, then searched around his mouth. He spat out two teeth.

"Damn you...DAMN YOU!"

He ran back to the ring before the annoucer had a chance to disqualify him, then braced himself for an opening, keeping an eye on her every move.

It was almost like this on the first day with Jericho and Kelly...kuso...and just like them, you only got two arms and legs! You'll see what I got in a second!

Peter suddenly found hismelf flying through the air after Sasami back handed him away.

Peter smashed into the wall, leaving an imprint, "Damnit... why does everyone have gravity magic these days...?!"

He pulled himself away from the imprint, hopping to the arena floor and then back on to the platform. His glasses were shattered, glass sprinkled across the grass. Sighing, Peter shook his head, "Hey, kid, weren't you ever taught not to hit people with glasses?"

The musician prepared to activate another smash the moment she appeared near him, so she would add that much of her own power to his attack. When she started floating, she would probably lower herself with her own magic. Then, she would accelerate into the ground, her own magic accelerating her even further.

Peter got into his stance, "How'd you get so strong, anyway?"

Sasami turned towards Kekowa and frowned. Then smiled as her eyes lite up and Ki beams shot out of them and slammed Kekowa back again.

Kekowa shut his eyes and put up a crossarm guard against the flaring in her eyes. When he woke up, he was at the same place he just ran back from. he swallowed another two teeth and tasted blood. Shakily, he willed himself back to his feet, breathing hard. By chance, he happened to look up to the fight clock.

25 seconds.

"So...she's psychic too! Well, the Demon King isn't finished yet!"

Once again, the fight still burning inside him, he ran back to the ring.

"Afraid, me?" Rhia said and chuckled. "More like excited. This..." She grinned and clenched her fist. "...this is the real thing. Real combat. This is what I want, what I want to be able to show Shamra when we meet again..."

Kekowa landed much softer than he though he would. Then he saw his bespectacled, grizzled friend going off into a quickdraw. He then saw Sirius get up on the other side of the arena.

He even remembered collapsing a house on a Werewolf. Most of all, he remembered his battle with Death, how their blades clashed, and then how they battled with music.

He allowed the memories to flow through him, and he began to grow angry, releasing adrenaline and unlocking subconscious inhibitions of his power. He thought of how Sasami, the little girl in front of him, nearly killed his friends. Peter flexed his fingers, and a small three dimensional sphere of... nothing, formed in the palm of his hand.

As the ball began to increase in size, there was a great rushing of wind, objects not well held down begins swept into the black void in the palm of Peter's hand.

Peter, his face twisted with rage, glared at Sasami through broken glasses, "Do you know what this is, Sasami?"

She broke off from Selma and walked beside her, whispering.

Determined and resolute, Peter waited until he was only a few feet from Sasami until thrusting the black hole, now nearly the size of a small car, at Sasami, watching the vortex to oblivion swallow her whole.

Then, he released it, collapsing on the ground, gasping for breath. The raging winds that had been stirred calmed, and there was silence among the crowd.

An explosion of epic proportions obliterated the arena. When the dust settled, Sasami's half form could be seen in the epicenter of what was once the arena (it's now all gone). Kekowa lay in a heap, his body badly burned from the explosion. He was out cold.

Peter hismelf was implanted half way in the arena wall. Both arms broken, his left leg shattered, and five ribs broken aswell. He, too, was unconscious.

Sirius was then found about 60 feet away from Kekowa, both legs broken and his neck sprained, but he was alive, and awake, though barely.


The announcer then spoke up.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, and intermission is called while we reapir the arena again. However, due to the fact that one Dragon Dorm member is awake, Sirius Savage is declared the winner of the round, though he is too injured to carry on into the next round."

A man in black swooped low and scooped Sasami up before departing.

Levi's eyes were wide as he watched as a small girl made practically everyone appear to be nothing more than a grain of sand caught in a sandstorm's grip. "What....what is she?" His question was made even more confusing as the girl seemingly self-destructed.

Sirius was then found about 60 feet away from Kekowa, both legs broken and his neck sprained, but he was alive, and awake, though barely.


The announcer then spoke up.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, and intermission is called while we reapir the arena again. However, due to the fact that one Dragon Dorm member is awake, Sirius Savage is declared the winner of the round, though he is too injured to carry on into the next round."

A man in black swooped low and scooped Sasami up before departing.

Clad in a pink dress, a small girl came forth for a closer look, pushed along in a wheelchair by a cloaked and hooded figure. "It seems that all the Wolf Dorm is good for is being unfair." She huffed with a little pout.

Henry was going to say thank you but Ramus vanished before he could even begin to move his mouth. Henry could've still said it mentally but he was a bit too upset to do it right now.

Everything was hazy for Peter. He stood, outside his body, staring at the bloody piece of mangled and burned flesh that was his body, and Kelly, as the teacher pulled his body from the wall. Peter was still alive, but barely.

Then... Peter felt a presence.

It wasn't that he heard them approach, or that he could smell them, but he knew they were there. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up, and he could feel a pair of eyes on himself. Not on his body, but his spirit. Then, he felt a familiar weight on his back.

He reached back and pulled his guitar off his shoulder and glanced behind him, staring at the black clad figure with a white guitar and a top hat, "...you again."

Kelly jumped down on to the field and headed towards Peter.

"The rest of you, make sure everyone else is alive" he said as he walked over to the young swordsme.

As Kelly appraoched, he noticed that he was knocked out.

And somewhere in the audience, hidden within his hooded cloak, Prince Shamra frowned.

"That girl sure wasn't normal," he said to himself. "Maybe coming here today was a better idea idea then I thought?"

Seconds before the explosion tore the arena apart, a green and red blur appeared before Natalie and Selma, wrapping its arms around them and holding them close, yelling "Brace yourselves" as...

An explosion of epic proportions obliterated the arena. When the dust settled, Sasami's half form could be scene in the epicenter of what was once the arena (it's now all gone). Kekowa lay in a heap, his body badly burned from the explosion. He was out cold.

Groaning, Samuel pushed himself up so he was resting on his knees. Laying on the ground before him was Selma and Natalie, who looked shaken but otherwise fine.

Rubbing his neck, ignoring the blood flowing down his back from cuts and scratches, Samuel looked to the two girls and asked "Are you OK?"

Groaning herself, Selma sat up, rubbing her head as she said "I think so..." Her eyes widened as she looked to Natalie and asked "Natalie! Are you OK?"

It was then her face grew into a sinister grin as she approached two similarly cloaked and hooded figures, "It won't be too fun if they don't fight back..."

"You're going to be ok bro, we'll get the teachers to patch you up." he said softly to his brother. "You did great man, you gave Dragon Dorm the victory"

"SOMEBODY GET IN HERE NOW!!" Henry yelled, trying to get someone to help his brother.

Dean arrived just in time to see the results of the match, and his comrades lying around the arena floor, broken and battered.

"Hmm." Dean said looking on, his expression deathy serious. "What a girl that was....No, she wasnt even human. Either way, To think such a person would be here...."

Dean let his thougts trail off, and joined the rest of his comrades in checking on the wounded.

Yet on Samuel's neck, the scratches, though still bloody, seemed to absord energy from the environment.

He clenched his eyes shut as he inhaled, a pain in his side reminding him of his broken ribs.

Peter himself was implanted half way in the arena wall. Both arms broken, his left leg shattered, and five ribs broken as well. He, too, was unconscious.

OOC: Peter has pretty extensive injuries. It'd be best to leave him in the wall for now, I think.

On the other side of the arena, another set of eyes had watched as the events unfolded. A grin spread across his face, as he stood, unblinking, at the flash that went off before him. When the dust settled, he rose from his seat and loudly, slowly clapped.

"The Wolves. Mage cowards, the lot of them. Marvelous! Wonderful! They made beautiful music, scraping bone against body!"

Behind him, an old man steepled his fingers in contemplation.

"Don't enjoy the show too much or let yourself be enamoured by their dance. Soon it will be your turn up there."

The youth stood tall, a slender, solid frame covered in tight black emphasized his lean face, nappy hair, and dark eyes.

"Magnificent. The Dragons should be honored to have stared Thanatos in the face and swell with their pride. It will make it all the more delicious when I it down, the same pride that beheld Death!"

His eyes sparkled at the sight of shattered bodies and broken bones, then dulled when the cleanup was announced.

"So transient is pleasure. This is quite boring."
