OOC: Meh, the only one Dean is really iffy on, is Alexia, but thats because the first time they met, she was a ballbuster. (Ike)

He was a tad leary of Peter when they first met also, but that was ages ago, and He turned out to actually be a decent guy.

Alexia, in the times (two) he's met her, seemed either bitchy(Sonrius fight), or creepy to him(Solarius, and possibly one other time). And not the good kind of creepy.

I suppose it's a good thing Dean didnt have Shingan on during the last fight, because he would absolutely, positively distrust her, seeing how her plans involved eating Solarius, and possibly the rest of the dorm.

Dean wouldnt go out of his way to pick a fight, but I dont think he'd be happy if Dark Alexia went out trying to eat him or Kagura, because Rhia forgot to set her alarm to wake her up extra early, or actually tell people that her friend is prone to bouts of cannibalistic insanity.

Although, the Dialogue would be priceless.

Dark Alexia: Surrender, And it'll only hurt alot more...Although, I always like prey that struggles.

Dean: Let me guess. We fight, you eat my heart first, if not, my penis?

Kekowa...Well, he started off in a similar boat as peter, in that Dean didnt originally like his personality, but he's calmed down a tad, and seems alot more likeable.

Valeria had forgotten Levi hadnt seen Ruman

"Oh gods Levi I forgot, you havent seen Ruman even though you needed it more than I. Im so sorry let me help you."

Valeria began to twirl her arms and hands around in a beautiful overlapping motion. Healing wind A blast of healing energy hit Levi's face. It was warm and soothing healing up the cuts and trying to repair his damaged eye.

"Their you go Levi. I dont knwo if im talented enough to completly fix your eye but Ruman shoudl be able to fic the rest later.^^"

OOC: Ok Im going to Finish Kekowa's little mini-story it will take awhile.

He could feel the flesh heal, but the eye remained blind, "Thank you, Valeria." He replied with a nod. "I don't know about you, but I need and bath and that we can have some sake." Instantly Levi's eye widened, suddenly finding himself in an awkward position.

"St Johns seems to think so. Natalie...I wouldn't presume to speak for her, but I haven't seen all that many signs she's attracted to Selma in that way"

Kekowa began to walk away. In moments he was outside

Now time to make even the gods take notice of Daichi!

Kekowa began to scan the cliffs and sea line searching for something

I must find strong stuff

He smashed his fist into the ground feeling the soft earth Damn it! He used a bit of chi to push through untill it reached a point towards the cliff.

Kekowa raced over and felt lightly punching he noticed the hardness. "This will be perfect.

Kekowa ignored his own limits and pushed his strength to its limit. He drew both his Kodachi and slammed the edge of the cliff slightly breaking it. He then began to cut the top up making a crack.

Kekowa lept off before he could hit bottom he dug his blades into the cliff face creating a small hole Kekowa pounded and sliced untill the cliff wal seemed to be coming down. A large portion came down on Kekowa. Kekowa sheathed one of his blades and caught the large slab of rock with his free hand. Using his Kodachi as a climbing tool he inched up the cliff.

When he reached the top he threw the rock over and it landed with a thud. Sweat beading from Kekowa's face and head he sheathed his sword and hefted the rock onto his back.

He began to head to the courtyard with a large slab of pure white granite about 20-25 feet tall.

Kekowa still lugged the heavy rock. HE was pushing his body to its limits after all the fighting and injury it wanted to quit on him but he pushed on.

Kekowa continued to Lug the huge stone on his back untill he reached the courtyard.

With a heft he lugged it off his shoulders. Before it hit the ground he sliced the bottom making the under-surface flat.

At its height its stood 23 feet tall. The first 7 feeat is carved very delicatly like a tombstone. the next 6 or so feet is a picture like image teh last Thing Kekowa saw of Daichi, Daichi coming down and slamming his fist into Solarius face. The last 10 feet is A full body bust of daichi down to the last detail, his Tetra arm raised in the sky in a fist signaling triumphant victory.

Well, the bust was described as 'delicate', which we could interpret as fragile due to the structural damage incurred by a novice sculptor.

It was also described as 'down to the last detail'. I'm betting every single detail was carved poorly.

Also, had Dean did a tribute, it would have been awesome. He would have poured some liquor for his fallen comrades.

The human mind was truly amazing, in that it not only was able to experience a wide range of emotional spectrums, but shift through them almost as easily.

Moments before, Xing was at a complete loss of what had happened. He had been genuinely displeased by the deaths he had seen. It was only made worse when he recalled the turmoil his mind locked itself in during the battle, unsure of what fate he wished for himself.

Such emotions now disappeared, swallowed up by the black rage that swirled within Xing. Hatred for the man he'd been mourning for moments ago. His fingers crunched against the Arcadian walls, and he unconciously allowed some of his chi to seep through making their destruction all the more easier.

That Daichi would speak so little of his blade....! That was far more insufferable than the source of his distrust for Daichi in the first place!

The Dao was more than a mere weapon to Xing! It was a gift from his father, Lin Yong, to him! It apparently held a rich history and when Daichi so callously took it from his hands and snapped it.... Xing'd been far too shocked to react!

It did not matter that the Dao had repaired itself thanks to the magical energies of Flames of Life! The Dao was a close companion to Xing, and for Daichi to have snapped it like it were nothing was an abominable act to Xing's eyes!

What's worse, he mocked its worth, even now! And who was this Cleric which Daichi spoke of!?

No, that didn't matter to Xing now. What mattered was the anger within him, which now envied Solarius, for he had been the one to take away what it had desired for itself.

That black desire whispered into Xing's ear, He broke what was precious to you, Lin. Take what's precious to him. That girl, Mei, break her, kill her, damn the consequences!

Another voice whispered, but it would not be a representation of his morality, for that played no part in what he felt now, And allow yourself to become bait for the rest? Haughty, he might have been, but do any action with express purpose against him now, and you put yourself at risk.

Xing conceded to the second voice, though not necessarily pleased with the decision. The need, the impulse to gain some petty of measure against Daichi still burned. He did not even hear, nor witness the truth of the Grandmaster. He could've been nude model, and Xing wouldn't have batted an eye.

He soon found himself being led outside by some unknown impulse, and were he in a better mood, he may've snickered at the sight he saw. A statue, erected in Daichi's honor.

Xing was about to make his way away from it, having no intent on paying any form of respect to his fallen teammate. But then, a thought struck his mind.

The smirk that appeared on his face morphed into a frown as he approached. It wasn't appropriate to be smiling about matters like this after all.

"Daichi.... Your sacrifice is one true warriors only wish they could possess themselves." Xing almost gagged at the idea that he was even saying such words, but nonetheless continued. "Whereever, you are now, I am sure you are worthy of it."

With a sigh, Xing placed his hand..... a good few invisible chi bombs to boot on the statue's leg.

Standing up, Xing walked away, taking his time to make it all the way back to his own dormitary. He'd to admit, it was a shame that the window view would not provide him with a good view of his work, but he was at comfort knowing that it'd been done anyway.

Snapping his fingers as he opened the door, Xing smiled as he heard the barest echo of an explosion from outside.

OOC: Pre "Grandmaster made a poopy" Story. Also, romance kills me on the inside. I want to die. Telling other people of my pain makes it slightly more tolorable.

Dean winced slightly as he recalled his last attempt to gain her affection, only to be shot down not long after. It was something he tried not to think about any more then was necessary.

Ever since that event, Dean had, to his own personal shame, been somewhat hesitant to approach Kagura once again, putting it off for as long as possible. After all, why should one do today, what they could do tomorrow?

"But that's not important." Dean said, more for his benefit, then hers. "What is, is that..."

Of course, that had been before he realized that he might not actually get such a chance, with the dark turn things had taken. Although his team had managed to stave of Solarius, and even save Arcadia, it had come at a costly price, and Dean had a feeling the price would only get steeper.

It was fairly possible, he wouldn’t get the chance to tell Kagura how he felt. There was no guarantee that either of them had much time left. This still didn’t do much to ease his hesitation.

The events of the day, however, did.

The mere fact that Kagura found his proposal at least worthy of consideration, rather hoping off his boulder, not bothering to give him a response as she left, had done wonders for his confidence. At last he was ready to try once more.

"Kagura, I....." He frowned slightly, as he attempted to find a way to express himself.

He lacked entirely, the subtly of an Ilias, or the charm of a Xellos, or the ability to run around bearing his soul, as a Selma would. This made talking about such things exceedingly difficult.

"I mean, what I'm trying to say is...."

Dean, at the core of his being, was a fairly simplistic person, Single-Minded, even. If he found a blade, his first instinct was never to study the blade; it was simply to find something to cut.

Unless fireworks shot out of it, or a sign was attached to it, he would never consider the possibility of it having a hidden nature. Odds are he'd never even consider the remote possibility, unless someone else suggested it.

Likewise, if he had feelings for someone, he would be so focused in gaining their affections, the idea of expressing his, rarely crossed his mind, until the moment of truth, leaving him at a loss for words. How was he to put the way he felt towards her into words?

Still, his people had always been upfront about what they thought, and Dean was no exception. He'd just have have to get right to the point.

"I guess I'm trying to tell you...." He flexed one of his biceps while smiling towards her. “ I really like you.”

The fault once more rested with Dean. Just as he could not see Xings death coming, He was also unable to see the darkness which enveloped his heart, until it was far too late.

His guilt over Diana and Garthin, his feelings for Kagura...All of these things distracted Dean from Xing, when he was needed most.

Had Dean been more attentive, he might have been able to quell Xing's pain and fury before it spiraled out of control.

But he will rectify those mistakes, in his last act as both Xings mentor, and ally....

No, he will do it as his friend.

A look of disbelief fell on Natalie's face.

"I don't know think you know what you're saying, Selma."

Selma noticed the disbelief on Natalie's face as she said "I do know what I'm saying Natalie. Life is indeed the grandest of adventures, because from the moment of birth one is constantly having new experiences and learning new things throughout their life."

"And death is not but the next stage of that grand adventure, one that all experience equally some day."

As long as you are capable of distancing yourself from it, you're safe.

Don't underestimate the human psyche. Some people have gone through some absolutely horrid stuff but still ended up mostly sane and balanced. Others break for a lot less. It varies.

Humm Funimation would be good, but they rarly do mature anime. FMA was hardcore at times but was mostly comedic and Afro Samurai is the rare exception

Revenge had strange way of dulling the mind, forcing one into such a state of euphoria that disturbances of any sorts seemed more like a minor annoyance.

Indeed, the constructs in his mind may have caused Xing to break down into an epidemic of panic and madness.

Instead, Xing just sat on his chair, smiling with amusement, and muttered, "Father? Dean? Just shut the fuck up."

Content, Xing stretched his body across the chair, pleased that he'd at least taken some measure of vengeance against Daichi.

The feeling of triumph could only carry Xing through for so long though, and he found himself pacing around his room searching for something to do.

That was when he noticed a sack lying by his bed, and curios, Xing crouched to a sitting position, and rummaged through it.

What he found were a number of scrolls and books, and he remembered that he'd brought some with him when he first came here, with the intent on brushing up on his reading skills with some of them. He never got the chance though.

Shrugging, Xing decided that now was as good a time as any to start on at least one of them. Searching through the files, Xing was disappointed to find that many of them he felt were quite beneath his level (he hadn't really given much thought about which books he'd bring with him at the time).

A few seconds later, something quite interesting would be produced on the sack. The cover was black, on it were printed the words, 'Shou Quan Mi Shu'. The Secret Arts of The Beast Fist.

Xing flipped through it, the first few chapters holding techniques which were not so secret. Indeed, this book must have been truly aged and its author would likely not have fathomed how common many of these techniques were.

But then, as Xing read through the next chapters, his eyes widened, absorbing the information from them greedily, and oh, the tragedy of it all. For what he next read would doom his fate forever.

Finally maxed out Stamina and Agility. Its the perfect time really. I have the low level regen, and can react as good as I can run(probably mach 3 now)

Still cant take a punch but the stamina boost and Chi should help that.

What Xing had found was both frightening and amazing. An anthology of Forbidden Techniques which not only informed one of their nature but of the processes through which one could perform them as well.

Of course, Xing wouldn't have dared performed half of them. Not because of any moral standing (though that may as well have been his reason months ago) but because most of them seemed to normally end up with the user dead or incacipated.

However, Xing managed to pick out a few that did not possess such severe consequences as those whom he rejected. As a matter of fact, he was not sure why they were even forbidden at all.

Making his way out of the school, Xing did not even bother himself with the fact that his previous act of vandalism had went through an unnatural stae of repair.

All he could concern himself with was what he hoped to obtain, and that was the power which these arts would offer him.

It didn't take Xing long to find a secluded spot. All the others seemed to be off doing their own thing anyway, which probably added to the ease of it all.

Xing's eyes first locked on to the information detailing the Shadow Clone technique.

A second later, Xing formed a hand seal, "Ying Fen Shen!"

For a moment nothing happened. Then Xing noticed chi beggining to localize in the spot in front of him. The process was slow at first, but sped up and soon a perfect clone of himself manifested.

The two stared at each other, almost as if afraid that if they looked away, the other would disappear. The clone, as it were, made the first move, bowing to Xing.

"Master who has gave me life, I thank you deeply for the gift you have presented me."

A success! He had done it! On the first try no less! Certainly, the speed of the technique needed some work. Perhaps after that he could try to make more than one Clone. But nonetheless, he'd done it! He'd successfully completed the Shadow Clone technique!

One half of it anyway. There was a second dimension to it. One, which Xing had to admit was quite simple in design. Opening his right palm, Xing spoke, "Xian Ji Wan."

Heat began to gather around his palm, and Xing was beside himself with the power he felt being collected in his hand..... Until a painful scream erupted beside him.

There his clone was, whom one moment ago had been on his feet, venerating Xing as a man whom he owed his life to, and now was on the floor, begging for his master to stop.

Xing, not really on his own accord and more because of the suprise, stopped and the Clone began to gasp for breath.

At once it dawned on Xing why this technique was forbidden. This clone was not simply a localization of chi, given thought. It was a living entity in itself!

He could simply ask it to 'disappear' when he had no need of it. He needed to destory as he would any other unwanted lifeform if he were to be rid of it.

Xing had killed before, make no mistake of it. But to do so in such cold blood, especially to one who looked exactly like him.... It was difficult.

Then rage, at his own weakness surfaced. The lack of resolve within him disgusted the newly released rage, and it roared at him to do what must be done.

Xing tried to bring his thoughts away from the anger, and quite by chance focused on another object of his hatred.... Daichi.

He remembered the man's last moments. He saw how focused, how precise the chi was. Certainly that arm of his may have played a factor in the display of power, but otherwise, and Xing hated to admit it, the raw power of the Hado Wave was all Daichi's doing.

Without knowing it, he felt the desire for that power, and unconciously his hands began to copy the exact motions of the Hado Wave.

Then with a roar, Xing thrusted his arms forward, releasing a blast of chi right into the clone, completely obliterating it.

It was only after he that, did Xing regain his mind. Realizing that he'd just imitated Daichi's Hado Wave (though to an admmitedly lesser effect), he sat down on the floor, and began to ponder over what had just happened.

Rubbing his chin, slick with water, he pondered over the advantages of having his opponents believe that they could exploit it.

Tomoe seemed to be content, now scrubbing the Dragon Captain's long hair, now undone. "You better by the time the World Tournament comes. I'm not gonna hold back if we have to fight each other." She replied.

Valeria glanced over at Tomoe "Sister Tomoe, why are you so rough with Levi? IF you truly care for him ease up a bit yes? I understand if you fight each other in the tournament but still, you dont see me slapping around my big lug Kekowa do you?"

Xing tried to bring his thoughts away from the anger, and quite by chance focused on another object of his hatred.... Daichi.

He remembered the man's last moments. He saw how focused, how precise the chi was. Certainly that arm of his may have played a factor in the display of power, but otherwise, and Xing hated to admit it, the raw power of the Hado Wave was all Daichi's doing.

Without knowing it, he felt the desire for that power, and unconciously his hands began to copy the exact motions of the Hado Wave.

Then with a roar, Xing thrusted his arms forward, releasing a blast of chi right into the clone, completely obliterating it.

It was only after he that, did Xing regain his mind. Realizing that he'd just imitated Daichi's Hado Wave (though to an admmitedly lesser effect), he sat down on the floor, and began to ponder over what had just happened.

Uriel: Gee. he relaly hates you.

Daichi: But he was ncie enuog hto copy my move.. Which shwos i hav emade a imapct onto this world.

Daichi: The Hado Wave?

Though he never met her mother or her brothers, he certainly recalled her father...

Three Years Ago...

"What's going on out here?" The gruff voice of Nakano Kazuma asked as he stepped out of the inn. Though confused from Tomoe's strange proposal, his eyes widened as he took in the sight of the man.

Muscles rippled like farming terraces across the man's body, resembling that of a body builder. A long mane of hair, dyed a bright crimson, seemed to burn from his scalp like fire, just as his bright brown eyes that almost looked golden.

"Tomoe-chan, who's this?" He asked, only before Tomoe giggled.

"This is Levi-sama, my future husband!"

" Husband, eh?" Kazuma rubbed his chin, "Looks kinda scrawny..."

"He may, but he just beat me a few moments ago." This made Kazuma's eyes widened.

"This boy beat the Nakano no Onishi Shito-ryu." A great booming laughter followed before he placed a hand on Levi's shoulder.

"I guess that settles it then. Welcome to the family, Levi-kun!"

Xing thought back to the final battle against Solarius, no longer influenced by hatred but by curiosity.

In all honesty, he almost felt as if things were going in slow-motion back then. Probably gave him more time to ponder over his condition, now that the thought about it.

But nonetheless, it was as if his brain was working at speeds that would've bored a pettier man to death.

The movements of his enemies seemed sluggish, as if they were taking their time to land that ever so decisive hit which Xing would dance past.

Dodging the movements was not the only sensation that overcame Xing at the time. He felt as if he knew them, in and out, as well. Enough to imitate them, in fact!

Perhaps that was it! That was the reason why he was able to imitate the Hado Wave! His eyes had read the movements to such concise detail, witnessed the unique flow of chi, and translated it to his body!

But, where did this bizarre ability come from? Perhaps a gift of his brother's? He did speak of leaving him behind certain powers as he passed on to the next world.

No matter, Xing found himself quite pleased with this turn of events, and without so much of a thought for the life he'd just taken, laughed happily for the first time in awhile.

"Well Tomoe-Dono, if I can borrow from Kekowa, Its a long story." She she exhaled "I was wandering the halls and ran into" she sighed "Daichi. Hwe went on I guesss a date. It started out as a friendly chat and dinner then we just kinda shared a moment. I liked him alot. We spent the night in each otheres arms because I felt so safe in his big muscles. Nothing happened, or I dont remember anything happening Daichi was a gentleman."

She took another deep breath "I bumped into Kekowa the next morning, I was practicing my wind magic when he came out of nowhere and was literally sweeped off his feet. I Talked to him for a bit and we kinda clicked. He was reluctant to tell me who he was. I asked Daichi and I was impressed even more. When I was talking to Daichi, Kekowa easedropped. He said he wanted to make sure I was alright. Daichi challenged Kekowa to a duel before Kekowa could take me with him, Kekowa reluctantly accepted. Kekowa won after a hard fought battle by both warriors. Kekowa did more damage to Daichi than he wanted to and overexcerted himself healing Daichi's wounds. I took Kekowa away and nursed him back to health. Later when We wheer alone I challenged him. I have neevr been taught love but i was starting to feel it for him. But being the person am I couldnt let Kekowa have me unless he could beat me."

Valeria smiled as she recalled the battle "He bested me after a I fought him hard. He got in close using his mighty strength to knock away my shield and using his art he stripped me of my magic. We fought steel on steel. It was magical we poured our hearts into the battle. He had me at one point refusing to hurt me and leave any marks. I tackled him refusing to give up. He let me punch him a few times before we wrestled all around the ground. He managed to get on top of me and pin my arms behind me. We locked eyes something deep in our souls meet and then..."

Most of the students in Lion Dorm were fighters, combat magi or athletic specialists. It seemed rather odd an entrepreneur and business head was a fourteen year old boy.

Regardless, he pocketed it with a shrug.

Levi was dumbfounded, but then again during these times he was either unconscious or in a state of shock from Daichi and Hunter's deaths to notice this.

He headed off to Natalie, pausing as she was talking with Tamiko. His ears perked up.

"Yeah. Seeya around, Raveneye."

After moments of remaining idle in his seat, Janos grew restless and rose up.

Too much drama here...not my style. I'll just have to look for the Captain later.

The sounds of giggles, cries, and rabble left the Lion Captain out of his element. To much noise, and of the wrong kind. Peacetime had a way of making soldiers go mad with silence.

Thus, he head to the gym. The sound of his fist smashing into a sandbag, even if he was alone, brought his mind to ease.

He nodded. Once Valeria left, however, Tomoe latched onto him with a mischievous grin, "It's just you and me, Levi-sama."

A small sigh escaped from Valeria's lips as she made her way to the dorm rooms; though still damp, she was fully clothed. Though this was her first time here, she recall Kekowa talking about his room and thus managed to find it. Entering, she sat upon the bed that she could imagine was Kekowa's only before lying upon it. Her hand drifted back to her stomach, reminding her of the time she and Kekowa had spent together and as a result, she recalled Daichi once more.

Meanwhile, to Levi's surprise, Tomoe merely nuzzled her face against his chest. "I was worried about you, Levi-sama when you didn't come back. Old Man Shu and your little sister left when the invasion began, but I stayed so I could make sure that you were all right..." Her hand rose, tracing the four scars on his face. She regretted having said that, but it was the gentlest way she could think of. Her eyes burned, but Natalie blinked hard before the sorrow could spill from her, but that did not ease the guilt that wracked her body and mind.

Then it came. The empathic backlash.

Natalie's steps slowed, her eyes dialated, and her breathing grew tense. The pain inside her expanded by a factor of five it seemed. The color drained from her face as she dizzily supported herself on the wall.

What...what have I done...Selma wasn't strong enough...

With that thought, something unhinged in her mind. That was the reason. It rang loud and true, written on the girl's face, and screaming from her heart.

Every ounce of will forced Natalie to turn and softly leave these parting words.

"Don't cry. Selma St Johns, you're better than that. So, dammit-"

Xing himself had gotten bored with the scenery, and was now on both feet, the book tucked under his shoulders.

Though he'd discovered that he now possessed the ability to imitate the powers of others, Xing still did not think of it as an excuse to simply sit and wait for the next perfect oppurtunity to better himself.

He needed to be proactive, and if that meant he would need to take a life, so be it.

Xing was making his way back to the school, when he spotted Levi. Deciding that he might as well start up a conversation, he called to the Dragon Captain, "Levi, where've you been?"

Maxwell felt the magical frostbite heading toward his mind as Xellos anchored himself. With a scowl of annoyance, Maxwell disengaged the mental hooks from his side, leaving the magical frostbite nowhere to go.

However, he then shattered once again. It took him the better part of a minute to reform this time around, and when he did, he had to close his eyes and calm himself down before he could continue the battle.

Turning to Natalie, Maxwell smiled and said "I believe this party is a little too... crowded for me. Let's take our discussion somewhere more... private."

Before Xellos or the teacher's could react, a shadow portal opened beneath the two and quickly dragged the two into their recesses, closing behind them as quickly as it came.

The portal opened into a small, windowless room, the only source of light the lone lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. Maxwell smirked as he looked to Natalie as he said "Welcome to my... how should I put this... secret project."

Walking toward a wall, Maxwell said "Ever since the day the Dragon Dorm professors interrupted our last get together, I started studying. Reading ancient texts, forbidden tomes, you name it, I read it. I would spend hours at a time reading books of every shape and size."

"And from my diligent research, I learned what I wanted. And I put that hard work to use on this room." Maxwell said, stopping before a wall, where he ran a hand along one of the walls. As he did so, a variety of spells in long-dead languages began to glow brightly in a seeming rainbow of colors.

"This room is protected by the most powerful magic barriers, psychic dampeners, and sealing spells I could find. I have put so many safeguards upon the surfaces of this room that even the Bringer herself would have trouble entering it."

"And should they enter this room, they would find their superhuman abilities sapped completely by the null fields I've set up on this room." Maxwell said, still running his hand along the wall as he said "Well... Unless you've tattooed a special spell onto your skin that grants you immunity from these null fields."

Maxwell broke into another smile as he said "And wouldn't you know it? I have that spell tattooed upon my skin."

Turning to Natalie, Maxwell placed his hands behind his back as he said "Now... Where were we?"

He read through the glowing runes, gaining their knowledge as his mind processed them.

Suggestion: Ask Selma to come along. I realize this is a good Knight In Shining Armor moment, but going in there without any reinforcements doesn't sound like Xellos' style. And if there was ever a good time for those two to put aside their differences, it would be now.

Actually, with Maxwell weakened as he is, and Xellos impulsive as he is when not relying heavily on his logic, and Natalie being in danger, Xellos definately just wants to try and finish him off.

I'm welcome to Selma coming along, but she'll have to approach Xellos.

I just think it would be a very nice scene if they both went: "Screw the rivalry! This is more important!" :o

Xellos doesn't feel he has a rivalry with Selma. The biggest thing is his lingering mistrust over her abandoning him during the first encounter with ZAHLEN.

Xellos does have a friendly rivalry with Peter and Kiran, a budding one with Unah, and sees an antagonistic rivalry with Maxwell and Nihil.

And yes, that's why I'm holding off till Dog gets back.

Bullshit. Xellos has no friends. Only those who are useful Pawns, those who may become useful pawns one day, and those who get in his way.

Those in the last list...Well, lets use this for example.

Dean is useful, so Xellos has not tried to freeze him. That, and Dean stands a good chance of breaking out of it, or something. Xellos isnt sure, but he'd hate to find out the hard way.

Selma gets in his way, and has betrayed him but still has reemdeming qualities, so he has yet to attempt to end her life....Yet. And he's not 100 percent sure she cant melt her way out of ice.

Quice seemed to be useful, but not in the way he wanted, so he froze her. She would later become useful, so he ddnt kill her.

Beegan, got in Xellos's way, twice. Xellos let him of easy, the first time.

Chocking him to death with his ice stick down his throat. Xellos is infinitely merciful.

But Beegan just wouldnt call it quits? Then he get hit with an ice sun, or something. And died shortly after.

Beegan was useless.

Xellos knows nothing of friends.
