Okay I was talking to a friend about Superboy and mentioned a issue were he wore a YELLOW suit made by his mom. My friend NEVER saw this and doesn't bleve it. SOMEBODY PLEEEEASE. There has to b someone that has this issue or a scan I can show him. While i've found references about the "Yellow" suit I can't find a picture. Now I think it was part of a story on the first time Superboy used his powers, druing Halloween maybe cause his mom had just made the suit.
Does anyone have a scan or at least recall the now LOST super suit, lol...

The following is quoted from Dark Mark's Superboy Index, Part 3 (http://darkmark6.tripod.com/superboyind3.htm), as a summary of the second story in the comic book "The New Adventures of Superboy #18" (cover-dated June 1981, and thus it's been "out of continuity" for over twenty years now).
Story: “Day of the Costume Change” (8 pages)
Editor: Julius Schwartz
Writer: Bob Rozakis
Penciller: Kurt Schaffenberger
Inker: Dave Hunt
Letterer: Ben Oda
Colorist: Jerry Serpe
Feature Character: Superboy (between flashback in SUPERBOY #87 (1) / SUPERBOY #10 (2))
Supporting Characters: Jonathan Kent, Martha Kent, Lana Lang (between flashback in SUPERBOY #87 (1) / SUPERBOY #10)
Villains: Two crooks (first and only appearance)
Synopsis: Superboy is inspired by Lana Lang to have Martha Kent make him a new costume from the remains of the blankets in his rocket, in which yellow is the dominant color. But the yellow color absorbs the sun’s energizing yellow rays, and Superboy suffers a power loss. Thus, he stops wearing the new uniform and goes back to his traditional one.
Best I can do for you!
From there, you might be able to track down an online scan of that costume somewhere, now that you know exactly which issue Clark wore it in.
