Makes sense for course and effect, after all events in peoples lives are all interconnected by one and other. Each decision places one in the position to make another decision later on that one wouldn't have faced if decision a) had never been made in the first place, it is only logical.

My main issue with this whole idea is that I see those behind it as acting like selfish little kids. The game isn't going their way so rather than take their ball and go home, they're going to actually change the rules of the game in mid-stream. It sickens me that they're going to ruin Spider-Man for such petty reasons as a lack of their creativity within the established frame work, and yes I said ruin. I firmly believe that this OMD/BND recton will destroy the character/universe. It will; a) turn off serious long term fans by making various issues irrelevant after the recton, b) it will make a total mess of Spidey continuity and a real headache for fans as well as future writers, c) what we have seen of the new storylines thus far (and it is limited) comes across as a convoluted nonsensical mess, d) they've tried this already people but in a different way, can anyone say Clone Saga, and that frankly went over like a lead balloon.
