This is a good issue. The art was good and Namor mops the room up with the terrorists. There are some awesome impaling scenes and yes Namor impales the leader of the rebellion on his trident. Biggest unexpected wtf moment I have seen come from Namor in a while. Turns out that one of the Atlantean terrorists has the ability to absorb powers and he absorbed some of Nitros. Nitro is still in the pen. Problems I have with the issue is turns out the person that claims to be Namor's son is someone that Namor knows of. The first thing I expected Namor to say was that he was sterile and that guy can't be his son. Namor didn't say that, but later he is rather ambiguous about the guy being his son when talking to another Atlantean. Only other problem was Namor seemed healed too quickly from having his feet wings ripped off.

Was it Llyron? (Haven't had a chance to get to the comics store yet).

No, Kamar. I have no knowledge of this character prior to this series.

Yeah, sounds like a new one to me. Never heard of him either. (Kind of glad it isn't Llyron, though, since the character is apparently dead by the end of the series. I think Llyron's got potential.)

Really good issue, though the last page with that £&%"ing general leads me to suspect that this will be another "the US is so, sooo evil" series.

I am really enjoying this series. I still hope Doc Doom and Namor team-up and save MU from Skrulls. With a little help from Inhumans......:D

How many issues is this thing?
It needs to hurry and be over so I can buy the TPB!

Hey all I really do think Doom somehow intervenes in the end here because in the Penance mini solicits say that nitro appears there. So my theory is somehow he gets out maybe by doom's help and blows all of atlantis up in the process.

The #6, which concludes the mini, will hit stores the 28th November.
I don't have the #5 yet. Has the identity of the man helping Namor been revealed?

Good Issue. Best Mini of some time and wish would be put in a higher light in the MU, kinda like WWH or Civil War. Many implications in this series that effect the MU and the Illuminati.
Also, did anyone see on the poster page of Namor emerging from the water in Seattle, there was some wording done by the artist saying, "after John Byrne". Didn't really understand that.

I believe that is a pencilers credit. Rather than have just the penciler or just the inker/color artist sign the piece, both will sign and identify which one penciled and which one "finished". For example, this weekend I picked up a Joe Jusko print at Wizard World that looked liked it was penciled by JRJR. Sure enough, at the bottom left it read "Jusko after Romita". The darn thing is too big for my scanner so here is what fits...
