Shouldn't Hulk be trying to get revenge on his villains as well? Wouldn't Hulk have a grudge against guys like Abomination, the Leader, General Ross, etc.

Shouldn't Hulk be trying to get revenge on his villains as well? Wouldn't Hulk have a grudge against guys like Abomination, the Leader, General Ross, etc.The Hulk already got revenge on the Leader for killing a city, and he got revenge on the Abomination for killing his last wife. Plus he had Ross fitted with an Obedience Disk during WWH. What more do you want him to do?

Besides, most of the Hulk's foes, outside the Leader and General Ross, are now depowered thanks to S.H.I.E.L.D Director Tony Stark and his HulkBusters. :D

As told in She-Hulk Planet without a Hulk TPB

Still wouldn't Leader and Abomination have a vested interest in seeing Hulk fail?

But if the Hulk wins there are four less heroes to worry about. So I think it's actually in their best interest (and other villains' best interest) for the Hulk to win.

Its in most villains interests for Hulk to win, not those two. If Hulk wins, what's to stop him from comming after them again? hulk really doesn't like those two guys and he could decide at any moment that they deserve more punishment for their crimes.

The one thing about the Hulk is that many of his enemies ethier are destroyed by Hulk after the first encounter (piecemeal) or after the second or third (SpeedFreak,Trauma).

His foes often lack presence in the mainstay of marvel continuity,Madman for instance barely if at at all appears outside the pages of Hulk comics.
People like Rhino and Absorbing man who are bigger players in the Marvel universe don't actuley have a big enough grudge for Hulk to bother with in the pages of WWH.

I thought it may have been good if Glorain appeared in the pages of WWH,but a Glorain whose powers had matured but still with the drive to save Hulks soul.

Even The Leader isn't that much of a big deal in the whole scheme of marvels villians and most of Hulks villians fall foul because they are obssesed with him and only him. I suppose Modak would have been one enemy that Hulk could have taken a bit of rage out on they have crossed paths more than once.
As much as I love Hulk villians I find they lack relevence and power once taken out of the pages of Hulk comic.

I imagine for Hulk beating the villains is an after thought. He does it all the time. For him it might as well be the equivalent of taking out the garbage or doing the dishes... it's a chore he'll get to later.

Aside from Nightmare who is keeping Betty on a desert island under his thrall, no one else deserves to be treated like those in WWH for denying Hulk his loved ones and possible children.

The Leader might as well be The Molecule Man, sitting in an apartment watching TV all the time, sidestepping any villainous activity (aside from occasionally jobbing to Universe Threatening Villain Of The Week To Show How Bad@$$ The Villain Is.)

Anything threatens Earth, The Leader can teleport to some other galaxy or universe with just a thought.
