Looks good. Will be adding it to my pull.
Captain Mar-Vell's return left a bad taste in my mouth... so I'm sort of on the wait and see approach right now.
That said, I do like the art work.

But it's not as though the real Captain Marvel returned from the dead, it's a time displaced one, so unless the bad taste came from the quality of the story(understandable), I don't see what the problem is.
I'll check this one out if the mood strikes though....

Even if his return was in a pretty so-so story, I'm really looking forward to this one.

I'm not sure if I'll read it. I don't want this book to sell, otherwise Marvel will want to not let Mar-vell return to the past and die (and, no, I don't hate him).

I'm kind of debating whether to buy it as a trade or as it comes out in individual issues so we'll see but I am looking forward to seeing Lee Weeks art and what Brian Reed does with it.
Hopefully it'll be a bit better than his Ms. Marvel stuff which tends to just be ok.

I might trade wait for this. I mean his return was less then stellar. It just seems like a mini full of pointless reunions. He will go see his kids get involved some in annhilation. I wouldnt mind him having some big role in the whole secret invasion story and at the end have him get sucked back into the past forgetting about his adventures in the present.

Everybody is a Skrull now...
Even the mundane doubles crossing over into the 616 in She Hulk are going Skrull!
BTW... Pick up the new "Daily Bugle" w/ Mar-Vell on the cover and you'll see the article on who might be the big bad in Annihilation (looks like they read this board...), with the "Skrull" pictured just so happening to be a green faced, pointy eared Bendis!
It's all starting to make sense...
Sing to the tune of Tears for Fears: "every-body wants to be a skrull..."

it all depends on how they write him.
they need to remember, he is a freekin_kree_warrior.
marv wouldnt hesitate to throw himself against death itself (he went mano a mano against thanos) so tone down the sadness he had in that one-shot.
his mindset should be "yeah, I'm going to die, but before i do that here are some things I am going to take care of".
what would a man who has nothing to lose do?

Well, Jenkins isn't writing it anymore, so I'm pretty convinced.

How did marvel come back? (and please dont tell me that his comeback was in that stupid panel of civil war 5, what the hell was HE doing there?)

Somehow Reed was working on something and it also involved Sentry Tech I believe when they were creating one of the teleportation gates for 42 and he popped out of the gate. He was actually the warden of 42. It was a lousy return.

In a quirk in time...allowed him to end up back, in the current Marvel time period.
But he is aware, that he has a 'limited' amount of time, before the cancer rears its head and kill him again.
And yes, his return was the MOST STUPID ever devise.
Because of that (part so), I will not be touching it (the series).

Leave Mar-vell alone. I honestly felt like he was ONE guy they wouldn't bring back.
LET HIM DIE!!! Marvel has been writing some real letter downers lately.
