i need a good listing of super-folk who have less than beefy bods; bordering on rakish. this is all that i could come up with...
Slapstick
Beak (pre-Wanda)
Cyclops (pre-steroids)
Legion
...
can you think of others?

Flatman. He's pretty thin...

Pre-Romita Spider-man
Silver Surfer about 50% of the time
Speedball

good one. i forgot about him. actually, Door Man is kind of scrawny under his costume too.

the Surfer always struck me as bulky. guess it depends on the artist. Baldwin definately counts. the Penance costume made him instantly bigger.

yeah, but that could change. he hasn't reached his full height yet, plus he's got that big@$$ arm.

Yeah, that's true.
Were you looking for women as well, or just male superheroes? I know that most woman are draw with some muscles, but it's usually pretty different with males (i.e Strong Guy, Hulk, etc.)

Thin Man
Famine (Autumn Rolfson)

maybe he's a marsupial. Famine definately counts. Thin Man counts when he's using his powers.
Yeah, that's true.

sure, you can mention women but only if they are abnormally thin (i.e. Famine) by comic book standards.

The Power Pack kids might count, but then again, depends on what you're looking for....

Skin from Generation X. He's dead now, but when he was alive, not only was he really thin, but even his skin was baggy. :p
Actually, most of Generation X was originally drawn pretty thin and the girls rather under developed.
Mondo being the biggest exception.

Gotcha. I'll have to think on those for a while, but I think Leech would count...

Beautiful Dreamer was another thin lady...
And wasn't there a thin guy with the Circus of Crime? I can't find him listed anywhere..but I remember a picture. Maybe he was just in the background.

there was also that rainbow haired morlock who the Marauders killed. Tarbaby was quite thin (and unintentionally racist), as well.

Her name was Tommy IIRC. And I remember Erg being pretty thin in his early appearances. Must be something about living in tunnels...

Is the stretchy guy in the back the one you are referencing?

yeah, there's a lot of pressure to be thin. the Morlocks are twice as shallow as surface-dwellers.

Simon Garth ... the Zombie!
Impossible Man
Wolfsbane used to be really thin and pretty flatchested
Arcade
Legion
Wildchild depending on the artist and his mutation at the time
Newton from Clan Destine
The original Mastermind when not using his powers to make himself look better
Toad has been extremely thin at times (and at other times rather plump)

don't forget Pyro. he was the like the prototype for skinny villains, at one point. i'm not sure that Wolfsbane counts. she's the right weight for her height. i guess an argument could be made for her being 'petite' or realistically proportioned.

yeah, he counts. Pietro always seemed kind of slender to me mainly when compared to his dad. on that note, i must nominate Super-Sabre. that guy might as well have been codenamed Slim Pickens.

Yeah, Super-Sabre looked pretty frail, kind of like pre-Super Soldier Serum Cap.
I think Multiple Man (currently anyways) would fit the bill...

he's regular sized but i wouldn't call him scrawny. he and Rictor are about the same size. i think either would look buff next to someone like Legion. i'll add Morph and Abyss to the list.

Yeah, I was mainly just playing off the Plantman thing. I guess he is bulky, in a way, but he can often be slender and lanky. Depends on perspective I suppose...

Humbug
Stick (as the name would suggest)
the Ancient One
Doctor Danger (if you want to go really obscure)
Bird-Brain
'Snake' Marston (from the Enforcers)
and, of course:
Aunt May

He's pretty buff now, but earlier in this current volume of Heroes for Hire he was rather skinny.
I guess you could include Warlock in that...this version at least...

that always weirded me out because i had only known her as the wrestler; Screaming Mimi. she didn't use to be that skinny. i wonder what caused the change. Angar the Screamer actually wanted her to put on more weight.

Victor & Chase from the Runaways are pretty slim.
Oh, and just about every female comic book hero is a stick with tits (but it's cool. I like 'em like that.)
