After being stuck on a three hour conference call, I thought I'd goof off at work for a few minutes. Then these items caught my eye.

Thanks to Augie, I now can not resist the Asterix Omnibus vol. 1 and Asterix Omnibus vol. 2. Available in both softcover and hardcover, for the discerning fan.
Anyone else see something they like? :p

The only thing on flipping through I noticed so far was the next volume of Bone in color. Haven't read much of it yet though, so hopefully I'll find som hidden gems.

OK, I've read the solicitation. Stick with ASTERIX OMNIBUS Volume 1. Those are the FIRST 3 books. The second volume collects the last three books, which aren't as good. One is even a sequel to another book all together. It's readable on its own, but I don't think it's a very forgiveable place to start.

This is the first thing that I noticed as well when flipping through the Previews recently. Of course, if Augie wouldn't have written about it recently I would have passed over the solicit completely.

I just got this last night and barely looked at it. I do know that it's got:
- 2 Black KNight MB's
- Stingray MB
from Bowen that I'm dyign for! ;)

Is it wrong to say that I'm interested to read YOUNGBLOOD #1? I was also really excited to see the NEXTWAVE: AGENTS OF H.A.T.E. VOL. 2 - I KICK YOUR FACE TPB finally solicited. Otherwise, January is a pretty ho-hum month for me with not a whole lot of new stuff outside of my monthly books.

Once I really go through the catalog I KNOW I'll have more.
I know that there's a new MARVEL MASTERWORKS from the golden age I'll be getting.
New BOMB QUEEN tpb.
DAMN! Still have to send in LAS MONTH'S! D'OH!

I'm kind of interested in the Noble Causes Archieve, but it's a bit of an unknown to me, soit's kind of a wait and see how I feel. Savage Dragon Archieve vol 3 is a buy though, even though I still haven't finished volume 2.

I think that the Vol. 3 is the last of the really good Dragon stories as the following "This Savage World" didn't really do too much for me.
