lovin the hal jordan pic. The tim burton batman ain't so bad either. I kinda like that white outline around it, leaves a interesting style.

Did you create all the costumes in post #4? I love those.

I think you need to work a little more on your overall art because the anatomy is pretty good but there's just something slightly off key about it.

Coloring, you should play with desaturating some specific areas so that the color is concentrated in the foreground. Try to think of your picture as some cardboard puppet theater. The background gets a certain amount of saturation, the puppet or prop right in front of it gets a little more. Then proceed so on til the "layer" you want to concentrate on more has the most saturation.

I think this is pretty good and really nearly there.

Oh yeah and keep it simple. Try only having one source of light for each drawing.

Also, sorry for being so bluntly unpolitically correct, it's refreshing to see black characters in the white super hero lil gated community. I'd love to see a comic!

I might overall sound mean but this is pretty cool.

Been checking out more of your stuff and I gotta say I'm really enjoying the colors. Some anatomy was off, but meh no one is perfect right? You gotta make some errors in order to get results right? Overall, I think you would make an excellent colorist judging by how crisp the texture of the pics you made. Keep it up man

This one has to be my favorite. The others are pretty good but this one stands out to me. I also thought the black haired Supergirl was interesting.

The person that did a whole lot of this work is not capable of that Dr. Doom. You've gotten insanely better. It really looks fantastic. The quality went from good to incredible. Love the metal textures. And it's not a bad outfit for him.
There's a bit much "soften" rubbing or similar tool going on in the coloring sometimes, and it's a hard tool to use as well as the side of a 2B Ticonderoga, but you're lightyears ahead of my ability to use the damn computer to color, and damn good when compared to people that know what they're doing on that thing.

Only advice i can give drawing-wise is to go lightly on the head and neck while sketching, because there are times that those need slight revision in positioning after you've rendered the rest of the body. Draw lots of real people, and well, keep doing what you're doing, 'cause it's working. Just Terrific.

hope yall like!I've gotta say, I really dig this Superman stuff. About the only criticism I'd offer on your colouring is that I think you overdo the white highlights a little. Generally, only shiny surfaces reflect light that way.

Just a nitpick really, though. Keep up the good work.

Howyadoin, your criticism is greatly appreciated and I do feel I use the white highlights a little to much. But in defense to that, I was trying to make Supermans costume look shiny. I know I shouldn't have used the highlights in his cape though.Hey, no worries. Just something to watch out for in the future.

And I usually put the highlights on a separate layer. That way you can easily adjust the intensity of the highlights with the layer opacity slider.

Neat job on that Lion-o, very clean. I like the idea of him having hip armour. If there's one thing I would suggest when you do the colours, is to not overdo it with the filters, you gain a lot more control over how the images come out if you do it manually.

The american flag in the backgorund feels a bit cheesy to me, but then again DC comics as a whole is pretty cheesy itself lol. Besides the cheese factor I do like this one. And as always your colors are extrmely bright and vibrant, Like I always keep saying you should become a colorist for someone, this is defintely comic book worthy, hell I don't even mind Wonder Woman is in anime form lol
