Okay, let's say Mutant's are destined for extinction, what do you suppose Marvel's next cash cow will be?

Accidental Powers?
New Races with unique powers?
A uniform evolution for humans? (basically all new people born start manifesting the same power/ability but at various levels.)
A uniform evolution for another race?
Magic?
Super Martial Arts?
Mythical Beings? (Gods, Devils, Demons, Halfbreeds, ect ect)
Government Experimentation?
Technological Powers? (High tech combat mechs, suits, weapons ect ect.)

Given the current mod of the MU, I'll go with something along the lines of government experimentation. They'll be trying to create their own superhumans, with the predictable mixed results.

Cash cow wise it would be the Avengers, which is a combination of all of the above.

That's a good one, Xpac, and it totally slipped my mind. I'm gonna add that to the list.

agreed. I doubt one uniform method of getting superpowers will dominate, although if it did, I would agree that Goverment experimentation is top of the list.

ah, anyone remember the good old '90s? when the x-men were out selling everything and no one gave two hoots about the avengers?

I do beleive we'll see an increase in the number of govn. based supers, but not neccesarily[sp?] a monopoly.
