View Full Version : Villains Who Should Be X-men?

What villain should be an X-men? (Or in cases of Lady M, Mimic, and Mystique, should they return to the X-men?)
What would their pretense be for joining?
Personally, I want Lady M back on the team...

I love Lady M, but I want her as a villain. She's so fun. I think we need more X-Villains anyway. I dont want anymore to become good guys. Half the X-Men is made up of their old villains. Its no wonder the entire world hates the X-Men.

I really want Empath on an X-Team... he has a fun power and really, most of the male X-Men are all physical fighters.. it'd be nice to see one who uses mental powers.
Also, Bliss should join the team.
And of course, Thumbelina.

There are too much villains joining the X-men, I don't want anyone else now. Fortunately, it seems like that will happen, considering the recent event in X-men.
Waiting for Toad to see the light.

Vulcan (only if they ever decide to make him interesting)

No, he needs to DIE!!!!!!!

Indeed, Vulcan must be snuffed.
Empath would be cool, but...
Considering the last batch of ex-villainous X-Men turned out to be such a shining success *heh* I don't think anymore will be joining soon.

I can't think of any - if anything the books need more villains, not less.

I love Mystique as a conflicted hero. That's about it.

All of the remaining villains from M-Day are so evil! Maybe Serafina?

I think Mystique works better as an ambiguous villain and Lady Mastermind as an anti-hero X-Man (with Mastermind as a villain - man, we need to see those two face off), but then the bitch-with-a-heart-role is totally Emma's domain.
I agree that we need more villains, and less X-Men, especially less villains-turned-heroes-for-very-little-reason.
If I had to suggest one, I'd say either Swordsman/Andreas von Strucker (if he counts now that he's a Thunderbolt) or Spiral (she'd be such a wildcard). The Kleinstocks seem like fun too.

I'd like to see more of Serafina, but strictly as a villain. Isn't she dead, though?

Y'know, before Carey's run, I wanted every villain in the book to join an X-Team.
But like Rogue, I've realized that's maybe not the best idea. :o
I think it is time for the Shadow King, Apocalypse, & Mister Sinister to join the X-Men...

Empath and Toad are great suggestions... hell, neither's really been a villian in awhile anyway.
Both would be great on X-Factor imo, especially with Rahne gone and Gudio possibly leaving the team too. :(

i wish that Abyss had gotten a chance to be an X-Man. i like that he looks like a slinky.

As long as it's not Exodus, Sinister, Scanner, or Unsicone, I could care less.

I'd love for Lady Mastermind to join, but with Emma already on the team it would kinda be redundant. On the flip side I'd like for some of "good guys" to maybe turn villian. And Gambit and Sunfire don't count!

So you wouldn't mind if Frenzy became an X-Man?

My vote goes for Vincente. Have the New X-Men rescue him from being the thrall of the never-used Emplate, and bring him back to the school to get his head together.

No More Reformed Villains! It has been crazy how many villains have been allowed to join up and now that its back fired, I'm glad the trend is finally over.

That or feature the Emplates again - were they saved by M-Day? They're out there, bone marrow vampires....I meant there's a story there.

But we both know, outside of brainwashing, she would never support a cause that's not faithful to Magneto's core beliefs.

I don't really consider her a villain, but Tempo would make a great X-Man.

I think we've had enough villains turning heroic for a while. Let's have some lengthy heel-turns for some heroes instead.
Like, I dunno... Havok. He always used to go evil for crossovers, after all. It became an X-Book tradition...

Toad is in my view the only one that would work. His actions over the years are not actually that villainous and more mislead. He tried the hero thing of course and was shut out by Spider-man.

Havok is overdue for another heel turn. That guy has switched teams so often that "going evil" might as well be listed in his powers listing.

villains are sooo much more interesting than the heroes.
Juggernaut's a prime example, infinitely a better character when his motives were nefarious.

Toad and/or...DEADPOOL!!! Put him on Ellis' Astonishing team with Cable and it would be awesome.

Well then don't you think you should list her rather than Scanner, who isn't as strong-willed or positive she is playing for the right team? :p

Scanner has never betrayed Magneto. She has a huge conscience and it eats away at her at times but when push came to shove, she put Xavier himself in his place during the Magneto War and went on with her business. Yes..Scanner would look good in a X-outfit but she belongs at the side of Unuscione, Exodus, Cargill, and Magnus. I rather she has a new place on a refurbished Magneto Cabinet in Genosha than by the X-Men's side.
