Just read through this series in about 15 minutes. It was one of the most inconsequential stories I've ever read. Incredibly decompressed - it could have been easily told in a 48 page prestige format one-shot.
The plot is that Wolverine is teleported into the future to save what's left of humanity from an evolved bacteria strain that we invented to eat the things that pollute our environment. Their weakness is adamantium, naturally. Oh, and it was done in a pretty awful manga style with lots of action shots and very little dialogue.
Anyone else suffer through this?
