Read all about it here (http://www.newsarama.com/general/JunotDIaz/OMDDelays.html)

PATHETIC. I see no reason why any Marvel books should have been late after the Civil War delays. Both this and Mighty Avengers should have had plenty of lead time to get issues in the can...

Eh... I LOVE Spidey, but I really try not to get so worked up about these things anymore. It's not like I don't have enough to read. Or that there's going to be 17 tie-ins held up by this.

I did think Joe Q was way ahead on the art, so what's the holdup if it's not him? R-write?

This image they added with the promos still gives me hope that my theory (posted elsewhere on these bds) is correct...

Dude - I think that your theory is the best one that I have heard. Loki being included in the picture was the first thing that I noticed as well. Even looks like the art from the recent mini with Essad Ribic (sp?) art.

One other thing. The ironic part here is that I'm not really enjoying the One More Day storyline. However, I am looking forward to the Brand New Day. How long have I been waiting for Slott to write Amazing Spider-Man? Too freaking long!

I think a lot of people care about it, and a lot of people will be buying it. It's being build as a big event for Marvel's most popular character, of course people are interested in it.

Now the number of people actually enjoying it? That's a question for wiser men than me.

As for the delay, it does suprise me, since it seemed like Quesada was working on it for a long time, and it seemed like he had it almost done before the first issue came out. Kind of a shame, as they could have built up a lot of good will with the readers by putting this out on time. Ah well, I'm not buying it so what do I care?

Somedays I ask myself why I care anymore. This is ridiculous. A ONE YEAR lead time on a four issue comic has now been eaten up.

Sweet Christmas! And of course I'll buy it.

The big question now is, "Will they go all Armageddon 2001 on it, since everyone guessed Loki already?" Ooh, conspiracy theory time: Is that why the book is delayed? heh

I don't hate the story so far... the only thing is that nothing's happened yet! Sure, the art is awesome and the scenes with Iron Man and Dr. Strange were cool, but really - nothing's happened!

Yes, the Loki image is from the LOKI mini from a few years back that was just conveniently collected into a tpb.

Yes, I'm more interested in what storiess are going to be told AFTER this is over too. I'm just dying to get to the end of this!

Augie, I wouldn't doubt JMS pulling somewhat of a re-write. I'll stand by my Loki / rune theory, but I bet there's something ELSE he'll surprise us with - hopefully that will make these waits worthwhile.

What are the chances that AMAZING SPIDER-MAN will ship weekly to get caught up after the OMD arc is finally completed? They've been working on it for just as long, right?

Probablly slim. ASM will likely still be shipping so often though, you won't know the difference.

Marvel's so proud of JMS' 7 year legacy on Spider-Man, they've decided to reboot the title and sweep it all under the rug.

I have a delightful little rant I wrote up this morning on this topic. I'm saving it for the next Pipeline. Has anyone already used the headline, "One More Delay?" I hope I'm not too late by then. It's too obvious, isn't it?

Pity.

I can't believe they couldn't even get one artist to draw the promo piece - they just grabbed images from other works.

That's poor.
