We've doing some majoring house cleaning and it came up that I have too many comic books that I probably don't want anymore. I don't want to bother with trying to sell them on ebay, but I don't want to just throw them away. Most aren't worth very much, but I'd like to at least get a few pennies out of them.
I've probably got over 1000 of them. What's the easiest way to sell them, i.e., without having to deal with shipping and handling? Will local shops buy them, although I imagine they won't pay very much for them.

Douse them in gasoline, set them on fire, and chuck 'em out of a high window.

That sounds most excellent as I've been buying trades instead of the single issues for a while now.
Thanks!

Pick out the age-appropriate ones to give out on Hallowe'en.
