I am sure this topic has been bandied around quite a bit before so sorry for bringing it up again but I was wondering if anyone had any database recommendations.....

1. First off, I am visually impaired so reading does take me longer, especially on small print things so....

2. I am only interested in pretty much the title and volume stuff like that....not really pricing or artist or things like that.

We have about 12 of the 3' long comic book boxes (I guess that is the size for them) and that crammed full with my husbands CB collection that he acquired mainly from the mid70s-late 80s.

I am really tempted by the ComicBase with the barcode scanner just because that looks so easy to use and doesn't seem to require much eyesight but am not sure on it yet.

Any recs would be appreciated. thank you.

I cannot recommend ComicBase enough, both for the bar code capabilities and the weekly updates. I also like the reports, and the ability to print labels, and in my case make reports handy for my PDA.
There a ComicBase Free program on the web if you want to take a look.
