Jackpot! Spidey vs. the Police! Menace! Triumphs, twists, turns and tragedy pack these two issues by Marc Guggenheim and Salvador Larrocca. And would you believe...Spider-Man sued? (Hey, that's what we get for having a former lawyer write these things...)

It's a lot opportunity to not make Amazing Spider-Man #550 a special event.

Makes sense to use Guggenheim's skill as a lawyer on this book.

Wait, only two, I thought it was suppose to be a three a month schedule

Look at the 2nd preview. "Amazing Spider-Man 550-551"

They're probably doing like comics typically do these days. Stretch a story that could be done in 1 issue into 2 issues.

Yes, it is. This is their way of nullifying the marriage w/o getting rid of MJ.

IOW, L-A-M-E.

MJ will essentially be the new Black Cat for a bit, and then they'll end up back together at some point. This is basically nothing more than a glorified alternate universe.

Cyberman, where are you getting all these links from? I'm looking all over the place and I can't see any January Spider-Man Solicitations from Marvel yet apart from the ones posted by Newsarama. Never mind I just found them on Newsarama. What a coincidence.

Cover of 549 looks like the movie style suit too much....

Other than that, I have no strong opinion one way or another.

I am not interested in any of these. I miss the classic villains.... bring in Electro or Doc Ock or Chameleon...somebody. This Mischief looks like a retarted Goblin, maybe its Gabriel Stacy. lol

I think you should change the title of the topic to "Spider-Man Solicitations for March, or April, hopefully not May of 2008", considering how OMD is going...
