by fears i dont neccesarily mean phobias.
what personal fears do you have that you want to work on ?
is there anything you are afraid to do but you think it would enrich your life if you did it?
if you want, it can also be a character flaw.

Fear of sobriety ?
Seriously... doing away with procrastination and being more confident.

There ya go Cam. You're on your own with the confidence thing.;)
Me, I fear letting people down, when they depend on me. Whatever that means.

I fear that, by being too awesome, I'm quickly growing bored with everything less awesome than myself, which only leaves wrestling bears and naked skydiving, and wrestling bears naked while skydiving.
Oh, and snakes. I hate snakes.

I like snakes. Never had a problem with 'em.
...Oh and naked bear wrestling skydiving sounds awesome.

Fear itself.
And spiders. Fucking hate those things.

I'm easily intimidated so I could be scared by almost anything. Giant robot spiders are at the top of my list.

I'm scared of becoming one of those people who takes a job after uni for some quick money, but then finds it impossible to get away. I'd almost rather be unemployed. Almost - beer isn't free, sadly, and I need the cash.

I actually think snakes are pretty neat. People expect that they're cold or creepy feeling but they're actually pretty warm.
My mom had this gold necklace that was made of one continuous tiny coil that wound around and around to create the chain. It was so soft and slinky-it almost felt alive when I used to wind it around my fingers or pool it in my hand.
The first time that I touched a snake, I remember thinking that it felt like that necklace.
And the next step after skydiving with bears is naked bungee jumped with a wolverine, I think.

Hm. I guess I don't want to hold myself back from talking to people as much as I do.
That a get rid of most of my procrastination like Cam.
Huh. Basically both the same reasons only worded differently. Ooops.

What kind of snake was it?

It was a like little green garden snake, I'm not sure actually what kind it was. I was outside in my grandparents' yard when it scurried to me across the log that I was playing on.

Ah.
First snake I held was one of those albino ones, it was funny mum doesn't like snakes so when she saw me holding it she was like 'What the hell are you doing!?'
Second one was a (small!) constrictor, was still pretty damn heavy, 6 or 7 kilo's at least.

Those big ones are amazing. When you touch them you can feel the strength flowing under their skin.

Damn right. First time I handled a snake I was amazed - it felt like one giant, taught muscle. Really easy to see how the big constrictors manage to crush the things they do.

was enlightening. Seems I have fear of failure which generally causes me to take on simple tasks rather than challenging myself. It's worked out ok for me as what I consider simple is considered complicated by a lot of people.
It still amazes me that people failed courses like History of Western Civilization and Human Anatomy which were all about memorizing things.
At least its kept me from falling afoul of the Peter Principle for the most part.

Yeah, well, Indiana Jones doesn't think they're neat. You sayin' you know better than Indiana Jones!?
And the next step after skydiving with bears is naked bungee jumped with a wolverine, I think.
No, that's a couple steps before. After that is hand gliding with a bag full of poisonous spiders over your head. And then naked bear wrestling while skydiving. After that... I'unno. I think I'd have to get in a fistfight with God or something.
Oh, and Pip! That cartoon was awesome. I live and die for bad puns.

I'm fearless to a fault, with one exception: I haven't been able to drive a car in over a decade. I even have a hard time riding in one without a panic attack. It's no big deal to me. Saves me a ton of money.

You could try gargling a Man O' War.
And yeah I think I do know better than Indian Jones because he was cracked enough to star in Six Day, Seven Nights!

I had a boa constrictor and a ball python and one time. The boa was a little over six feet long and the python was almost eight feet long, so no I have no trouble with snakes. When I moved out of my folks house however, I had to find them a new home, as the apartment I moved into didn't allow pets of any kind. I miss em.
Fears? I fear what life would be like if I stopped drinking. Honestly, I am afraid of sobriety, even though I know it would enrich my life. I've done things to improve myself, such as no hard liquor and restricting my beer drinking till after the kids are in bed . . . but still . . .
and spider, fucking hate spiders.

That was Harrison Ford, silly. I'm talking about Indiana Jones. Y'know... the guy they made those awesome documentaries about, coincidentally starring Harrison "I'm the only guy whose career wasn't destroyed by the "Star Wars" movies" Ford.

I didn't sleep last night and my dyslexia acts up when I'm tired. What happens is I try to overcompensate for words being out of whack and I forget them entirely.

I was frustrated with myself because I should really proof read more. Especially when I know that I'm tired and more likely to make mistakes.
