Reading the current Outsiders issue, I was suprised to see Bane on the Squad. When did he join up? Seems kind of a odd fit as Bane does not seem like the kind to take orders from anyone. He is a self made and reliable man.

I thought Checkmate had him ruling over a country somewhere. The Squad tried to overthrow him, and Checkmate was stuck doing damage control.
