Howdy y'all, I'm coming to you now for your thoughts on Aquaman.
It's a character I have always been curious about, but never enough so to buy the solo book.
I have recently cut my 100+ title pull list down to around 70 per month, so I now have a little free cash to check out other books.
Is the current book worth a look?
What is good/bad about it in your opinion?
Are there any particular runs from the past I should check out?
I am essentially an Aquaman noob, so feel free to be as detailed as possible.
Thanks in advance.

It's too late, they killed off the character.

That's not a problem.
I have access to several comic book stores with very large back issue sections.
I doubt there are any issues of the most recent series that I cannot get from them or from an online retailer.
Besides, I wasn't just talking about the most recent incarnation of the character. I meant Aquaman as a whole, through the years. Hence my asking about any particular runs I should hunt for.
Sorry for the misunderstanding, I should have been more specific in the original post.

If you're gonna cut back from one hundred books to seventy, don't space-fill with garbage. At least check out books like Blue Beetle, All-Star Superman, and The Spirit, if you aren't already doing so. And if you still can't fill out your seventy book pull list, look outside of DC. And Marvel. And even Dark Horse, Dynamite, Image, and Top Cow. Go check out some non-superhero books, like Mouse Guard or Love and Rockets or Eightball or Optic Nerve.
But if you're really stuck on just superhero comics, if you're gonna go back issue bin divin', there are far, far better comics from the past decade to go looking for. Superboy, Young Justice, Impulse, Dixon's run on Robin, Chase, most of PAD's Supergirl. These are books that were fun as hell, but you'll never be able to find 'em in traders. Same goes for Ostrander and Mandrake's The Spectre, and Ostrander's Suicide Squad.

Jack Zodiac:
Thank you but I already am buying/have everything you mentioned except the Superman stuff (not a fan) and Love And Rockets (haven't gotten around to it yet).
dupersuper:
Thank you. That's what I was looking for. I already have Morrsion's JLA run and I have no interest in the Superman stuff, but I will seek out the Aparo and Peter David Runs.
Thanks again Guys.
