Thought after the 5 issues of Helmet of Fate there was to be an ongoing Dr.Fate series. Wasn't it even solicitated on the DC website?

Yeah, and they pulled after I think 2 issues had been solicited.

Gerber's gravely ill - he's able to work but he basically needs a new liver or he'll die (he seemed frighteningly upbeat about it in a Newsarama interview a few weeks back) - so I believe DC worked out a better schedule for him to work with and thus his Dr. Fate series runs in this new format.

Yea, I was bummed when it was changed into a mini with Eclipso.

Ah well, as long as they add Fate to the JSA soon.... ;)
