Ugh. I guess it's me, but the Poser generated art just sticks out too much. I remember Van Fleet used to have more of a flat almost paper cut style. Now I'm noticing CGI and Poser like characters way too much. Sure, it's not Chuck Austen stiff Poser art filled 'manga' wanna be crap, but it doesn't quite look as finished as some of the earlier Batman work of Van Fleet.

The hands here kinda stick out, but not as bad as the first one. Though I hope he redoes the second cover. That bikini model just seems blatantly done in Poser or a similar 3d model program. It just doesn't look finished enough. It looks like a 3D render with a filter tossed over it.

Again, maybe I'm just allergic to Poser used in artwork.

Still, this new one's a neat image overall. Plus I'm looking forward to the series.

Ugh. I gotta agree with Xenos. I just don't like this whole 3d poser thing. And why the hell does REnee's mask look like it's made of frikkin plastic?! It looks like someone brought a mannequin to life or something. I'll take true drawn style over this any day.
